America Stands in the Way of Global Governance

Whether we have global green religion or a socialist one world government, or a communist global governance, the end result will be the same – the foundation that guides globalists will be vastly different from the foundation that guides America, the U.S. Constitution.

The Declaration of Independence states that “… All men are created equal … endowed by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights … to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness …”

But globalists think differently, freedoms and rights are granted by politicians.  The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 2, states that “Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration.”

According to the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution we have freedom of speech, assembly, and religion. At least we did until the all-powerful tech giants decided to censor conservatives on all their social media platforms.

Globalists, on the other hand, wrote in the U.N. Covenant on Civil and Political Right, Article 19, “Freedom of expression may be restricted as approved by law.”

Our Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states that “Private property shall not be taken for public use without just compensation.” Eminent domain abuses such powers under the guise of development for the public good. Private property is indispensable to a free market capitalist economy.

Globalists see private property as the source of evil and must be prohibited. The U.N. Conference on Human Settlements of 1976 states that “Private ownership of land contributes to social injustice; public control of land use is indispensable.” Land use and property rights are also addressed in U.N. Agenda 21/2030.

Communist dictators from socialist countries have confiscated their citizens’ private property in order to make everything equal, equally miserable and poor. They nationalized factories, confiscated land, wealth, and homes. They vilified people who owned property as the “bourgeoisie,” fomenting hatred among those who did not own property.

Mao, Castro, Ceausescu, Stalin, and other socialist/communist dictators destroyed the middle class because it owned property – land and real estate. In some countries farmers and urban property owners were executed to frighten the rest into submission, and others were sentenced to hard labor in gulags, building roads and railroads, and excavating ore in mines in order to pay for their sins of bourgeois ownership.

For the longest time, the American government “derived its power from the consent of the governed.” Lately huge changes have taken place and the government bureaucracy at all levels, local, state, and federal, along with Congress have taken dictatorial powers without the consent of the governed under the guise of doing what is good for the “collective.”

Collective, of course, is a communist code word for we tell you what to do and you obey. That is exactly what global governance believes, that “the governed derive their freedoms from the consent of the government."

To prove the veracity of such a statement, watch what the local, state, and federal government are forcing us to do, locking down healthy people, forcing healthy citizens to wear face masks indefinitely, throwing them in jail for non-compliance, fining them, refusing them entry to grocery stores, malls, and medical clinics, and destroying small business and the economy for a minute percentage of casualties from a virus deemed a “pandemic,” forbidding doctors to prescribe potentially healing drugs that have been in use for 65 years, and pharmacists to dispense them under the threat of losing their medical and pharma license, firing doctors who actually cured many patients with drugs the government disapprove of, while censoring scientific data because it does not agree with the government narrative. This has never before happened in America on such a huge scale.

As the late Henry Lamb said in 2010, “In developed nations, the war against freedom means removing from individuals the freedom to do and say whatever they wish in the pursuit of their own happiness, and the freedom to choose the people who have the authority to make laws.  This war is waged with the counterfeit threat of cataclysmic global warming which requires global coordinated action. It is waged with trade agreements, treaties, and propaganda. It is wage with guilt-laden finger-pointing at America’s prosperity as the reason the rest of the world is in poverty.”

The war against our freedom is waged by the United Nations, its myriad of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and global communists with large endowments and billions to burn for their cause, paying and using useful idiots within each country to create havoc and betray their own history and Constitution under the guise of fighting fascism and desiring to install socialism.

And they claim, they don’t want the socialism that has failed in all of the countries where it has been tried for decades and resulted in utter rejection by their citizens who lived in abject poverty and subjugation, after millions have lost their lives.

As Dinesh D’Souza points out in his recent book, these wannabe socialists promise everything on Earth on the condition that “… you are expected to give up your ownership of yourself, including your right to keep what is yours, your personal autonomy and dignity and your independence of mind.” This is just another “lust for power,” in which “socialism is the ideology of thieves and tyrants.” (United States of Socialism, Dinesh D’Souza, pp. 9-11)

D’Souza proposes that the American socialists, who added identity politics (Latino, black, Asian, Pacific Islander, disabled, LGBTQ) to their platform, with the social justice component, should call their movement “identity socialism.”

The young and old Americans who actually desire socialism express their desire to be taken care of by the daddy government, a desire of dependency that is stronger than the desire to be free.
I have actually been told by older relatives, who now live free of socialism and the Communist Party, that they wished to return to the country before the 1989 revolution, because today, they have to take care of themselves and it is hard.

In the old socialist country, the Communist Party took care of them and paid them an equal but miserable salary regardless of work participation and effort. And that satisfied them that they did not have to struggle and work. They did not have freedom but they had equality of result – they all were paid the same regardless of effort, skill, and education. The country was ruled by constant dictatorial decrees that even told them how much food they could consume per day and were given rations accordingly.

Non-governmental organizations have spread around the world indoctrinating disaffected populations and youth to start a new revolution under the banner of “#resist.” They are socialists advocating the same old failed system but using repackaged old slogans, promising free technology, an easy life, free education, homes, a guaranteed income, free health care, child care, and everything else they desire. It rings hollow as these promises have been made to all the other failed socialist countries around the globe.

Take Poland’s case as an example - Lech Walesa, who is now 76, a shipyard electrician, became the leader of the Solidarity movement in 1980, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1983, and President of Poland in 1990. He is still in politics demanding that the government respect the constitution. Why would that be necessary in a post-communist society? Because the communist corruption never went away, it became part of the government under different names and the old guard and their neo communist spawn are still in charge.

Young people in Poland and elsewhere in the former Iron Curtain countries have been indoctrinated into the new socialism that is sweeping the globe. I call it hollow socialism because it is devoid of substance and full of empty promises.

When the Iron Curtain fell, children of survivors of socialism/communism have gone to school in the west on Soros and other leftist-founded scholarships. They are beholden to his philosophy of the new world. His NGOs stepped in and wrote the school textbooks to match his philosophy of the new world order predicated on environmentalism and socialism.

Young Polish women have rallied around the global feminist movement and environmentalism just like in the west and are #resisting the people who are fighting political corruption and communism.

The Polish progressive movement came up with the slogan, “Women and Earth have too much to bear.” It is not a coincidence that their Manifa, spring march in Gdansk, copied the western model and advocated for the feminist movement and environmentalism, carrying LBGTQ flags. Globalists made sure that the movement spread across the globe, carrying the same signs and the same message.

If one is still deluded that socialism works if it is tried the “right way” or by the “right people,” look at Cuba today – it oozes poverty out of the pores of every decaying building under the leadership of the tyrant comrade Castro; look at Venezuela today, with the richest oil reserves, yet it cannot feed its people; and look at North Korea and the starvation of its people. Photographed from space at night, North Korea looks like a black hole – there are no lights at all, just complete darkness. And last, but not least, look at the mass poverty in the cities in America that have been run by a socialist Democrat government for decades – they resemble third world nations.

Rational Thinking Replaced by Progressive Emoting

“The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.”    -  George Orwell

I have often wondered how the youth of the world hold in synch same beliefs, education, and outlook about the future of the planet. How can people from such diverse cultures, history, languages, and backgrounds share identical ideas and thoughts? How did they all decide to join the same movement such as #resist? Why are Americans resisting abundance and freedom? Why are they craving communist government oppression?

What are they resisting? Who is funding them? Who is indoctrinating them? Who is paying for their blind allegiance, a cult-like international loyalty and movement not necessarily based on logical thought? It seems that the left does not think but emotes.

Are technology and the Internet to blame? Is it the social media to which everyone has become hopelessly addicted, especially younger generations staring at a blue screen and counting the number of “likes” while real life is passing them by? Are the drug culture, the immoral hook up culture, and the Hollywood culture to blame? Is it the destruction of Christian faith and traditional family?

Is there a much stronger force at work behind the scenes that shapes their every waking moment? Is there a wicked design predetermined in the vaunted halls of education or the boardrooms of large multi-national corporations? Is it billionaires who like to play chess on a planetary scale, using humans as pawns? Is it the United Nations and their affiliate organizations? Is it global non-profits? Perhaps all of the above might be true.

Education has a tremendous impact on shaping generations around the globe and the main curriculum seems to be globalism, the new communism. Young people, the global citizens, are taught about Nazism and fascism but their education is stunted when it comes to communism. Somehow they learn a romanticized version of what communism was like; seldom are its 100 million victims mentioned. Students focus on the words equality, free, and social justice to the exclusion of all other inconvenient details. Truth becomes the primary victim in the mis-education of the masses.

The communist Chinese are implementing the Sesame Social Scoring System and Jack Ma, the wealthiest man in China is alleged to be the mastermind behind this movement. His conglomerate of companies includes Verizon and Yahoo. He is on record saying at the World Economic Forum that teachers must stop teaching knowledge from the past 200 years because humans cannot compete with machines in this way. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=World+economic+Forum+video+Jack+Ma+on+education&&view=detail&mid=2EAD3DC798DDD85F23AD2EAD3DC798DDD85F23AD&rvsmid=46DECA3E16B7A1DCE7BD46DECA3E16B7A1DCE7BD&FORM=VDQVAP

According to Alex Newman, the Chinese Sesame Credit will score 1.3 billion humans by measuring loyalty to the nation’s “brutal overlords,” punishing or rewarding each citizen according to how bad and how “good” they are.  https://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/asia/item/22213-communist-china-unveils-most-orwellian-scheme-ever

Under a regime-sanctioned prototype of the system known as “Sesame Credit,” the credit score-style number for each Chinese subject is reportedly to be compiled based on everything from analyses of social-media profiles and book-reading choices to the Sesame Credit scores of friends and acquaintances. “The more you love your oppression and believe your rulers, the higher your score will be. The higher the score, the more benefits you get from the regime. Ultra-slavish subjects with no “thought crimes” on record can apparently even get visas to travel to the West, according to media reports.”

Is this life imitating art? Minority Report, a sci-fi thriller, showcases a Pre-Crime Division in which cops can investigate a murder which has not yet taken place and killers are arrested and convicted for their “thought crime,” before they actually commit murder.

Is leftist indoctrination in our k-12 public schools and in our colleges to blame for the massive shifts towards communism and its repackaging by academia and the main stream media as an economic system to follow since capitalism had “failed” them miserably?  Suddenly, young people who ingest Tide pods and condoms through their noses are telling us that we don’t need guns that our second amendment guarantees. Our Constitution is outdated and therefore guns should be confiscated by force.

Sara Dogan and Peter Collier argue that progressive academics, who have turned our colleges and universities into indoctrination halls for cultural Marxism, are now targeting k-12 public schools with anti-American ideas, racism based on one’s identity and culture, and with proselytizing for Islam.

Their pamphlet, Leftist Indoctrination in Our K-12 Public Schools, includes examples such as “Equity and Racial Justice Training” for all employees in Edina School District in Edina, Minnesota, aimed at “dismantling white privilege,” confessing “their racial guilt,” and accepting the district’s “equity” ideology, a communist principle.

Another example comes from La Plata High School in Maryland where “cultural diversity” promoters “ordered [students] to copy the Islamic creed “Shahada.” Included in this creed is the sentence “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.” The said high school distributed a worksheet that stated, “Most Muslims’ faith is stronger than the average Christian.”

A third example includes transgender instruction at Rocklin Academy in Rocklin, California, where a male kindergartner was introduced as a girl. When a first grader called the student by his given name, he was sent to the principal’s office for his “egregious” offense. https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/269721/stop-indoctrinating-our-children-frontpagemagcom

The more technology we have at our fingertips, the more illiterate we become. As Bruce Deitrick Price wrote in his article, K-12: Illiterate New World, about the educational plan of decades ago which succeeded in creating non-readers and weak readers by telling parents that “ABCs are not essential and could be ignored.”

Price compares Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World with our education establishment scholars who told parents that reading phonics was not important; instead of memorizing the letter B, children had to memorize BEACH on a “hugely complex design – and there were more than 200,000 of them.” This educational plan failed just like all the other educational fads promoted by schools of education around the country and education professors interested in tenure, notoriety, and adoration on the conference circuit.

The plan was to control the outcome of education to a predetermined level. As Price wrote, “Humans would be conditioned and engineered to be what the controllers wanted. This creepy, highly invasive scheme was a brilliant ‘success,’ once it’s understood that the new goal was limited literacy.”

It was in essence a “theft” of phonics and forcing young children to memorize endless words like automatons. Children are indeed very good at rote memorization, but phonics makes them life-long learners instead and gives them the ability to read any new words they encounter. Their vocabulary is not limited to just a set number of memorized words. https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/03/k12_illiterate_new_world.html

As Orwell said, “If people cannot write well, they cannot think well, and if they cannot think well, others will do their thinking for them.”

Charlotte Iserbyt wrote in 2013 about the “restructured” American education network as “part of the international (lifelong) computerized work force training system.” Citing an Australian research paper published on line in March 2000, Iserbyt said that these quotes “document the fact that the computerization of the classroom is the model for the international system to which all the world’s children and adults will be subjected… and brainwashed.” (Preparing for Virtual /World Classrooms: Globalization of Education and Training---a Learning Web Approach along the Information Superhighway" by Dell Campbell, 1997, Department of Further Education and Training, Australia)

Isserbyt wrote that the original intent of schools was to disseminate a “strong traditional academic education, focusing on reading (good literature, not the depressing, politically correct, values-changing literature promoted by the American Library Association), writing, with a strong emphasis on spelling and grammar, mathematics, traditional U.S. and world history, geography, science, foreign languages, including Latin, art, music, and an understanding of the need for sound morals and values, the invaluable support structure for all major (successful) civilizations.” She abhors the idea of schools using the “Skinnerian, individualized, proceed at your own pace, continuous progress, computer curriculum, which is dangerous no matter what it teaches.” https://freedomoutpost.com/soviet-education-americans-preparing-children-for-virtual-world-classrooms/

K-12 education in America has devolved into Common Core, a curriculum that indoctrinates students into socialism and pushes students to become good Muslims to the exclusion of Christianity. Common Core teaches contorted mathematics that make the subject even less palatable to students and more complex; historical facts are revised, important events and political men are left out, writing is no longer cursive, and English literature focuses on twisted topics such as sexual deviance and other abnormal behaviors.

Behavior in schools has morphed into a lack of discipline and responsibility encouraged and promoted by parents who come to school angry that Johnny did not make the grade, demanding to know why the teacher failed their precious son or daughter. If they don’t get the answer they expect, they visit the principal and, after threatening to sue, they demand to know how the principal is going to punish the offending teacher who dared to stand up to their “award-winning” Johnny who has  a room full of trophies just for showing up for a competition or walking across the stage.

There are no severe consequences for failure. Students and their parents expect teachers to pass them regardless of how poor their performance is. In the functioning America before Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society, if one did not perform well, they became poor and needy. There were dire consequences to indolent performance. The Great Society created a generational welfare system and the idea that if one fails, the government is there to catch them, feed them, clothe them, and house them from cradle to grave.

The entitlement generations of today, which have emerged from the Great Society welfare system, has corrupted our society in many ways. If you are not allowed to fail, what is the point in trying? Parents now complain that competition destroys their progeny’s self-esteem therefore everybody must be a winner.

The latest fad in international education is “computational thinking,” a term apparently popularized by Jeannete Wing. Australians and the United Nations seem keen in promoting this new idea.

The net defines “Computational thinking as a way of solving problems, designing systems, and understanding human behavior that draws on concepts fundamental to computer science. To flourish in today's world, computational thinking has to be a fundamental part of the way people think and understand the world.” In other words, if you want to think properly, you must think like a computer.

Selby and Wollard wrote in 2014 that computational thinking is a thought process in which you must think in abstractions, algorithmically, in evaluations and trade-offs, in generalizations, and by breaking down problems by functionality.

Computational thinking is preferred in the new computerized world order over systematic thinking (taking all variables into account), holistic thinking (understanding relationships between whole and part), and creative thinking (extend ideas in new ways).

To teach computational thinking, robotics is recommended as a way for young children to learn about mechanics, sensors, motors, programming, and the digital domain.

Future generations must become busy working bees for multi-national corporations and less educated because education tends to make individuals more prone to consume precious resources of the planet and damage the environment. They also have children which burdens the planet and its “carrying capacity.”

Common Core curriculum is pushed by UNESCO (U.N. Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization). Number 4 goal of U.N.’s Agenda 2030 with its 17 Sustainable Development goals, addresses education: “Ensure inclusive and equitable, quality education, and promote lifelong learning for all.”

“In reality,” A. J. Cameron believes, “the predatory globalists seek to stunt the education of our youth because educated individuals seek to increase their stations in life. As they do, they become consumers, especially of natural resources. Natural resources are to be the private purview of the predatory globalists. The ultimate goal is to eliminate the middle class, bringing ‘equity’ to the masses.”

The traps of Common Core and CASEL (Collaborative, Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning) ensnare children around the globe, promoted by international NGOs funded heavily by billionaires. They write and publish textbooks with the same collectivist verbiage in all major languages around the globe.

It would be myopic to focus only on education in the U.S.  Indoctrination dressed as education is planned to shape every young person around the globe to serve the elite globalists who advocate no borders and one world government under U.N. aegis. Subjects would be much easier to manipulate if they don’t belong to a country with clearly defined borders and sovereignty.

The media complex has become the propaganda arm of multi-national corporatist interests, making no excuses for pushing damaging agendas with velvety voices and disarming and carefully crafted language, while preventing the truth from ever reaching the masses who read less and less. People hear and believe identical sound bites repeated on every news channel. As they say, if you hear a lie often enough, it becomes truth. https://www.facebook.com/outlawmorgan/videos/1708311759263710/UzpfSTEwMDAwMDAxOTUyNjA0ODoxOTI2ODUzNjI3MzI1MjY5/

These identical sound bites are generated from a command center that is actually distorting and subverting the truth. It is more egregious when social media minions escalate censorship of conservatives with whom they vehemently disagree, using crafty algorithms, shadow banning, or shutting down access to social media. The infamous jail sentences of the largest social media outlet controls many conservatives and their ability to exercise their right to free speech.

Cameron adds, “If the predatory globalists aren’t worried about the truth from becoming common knowledge, why are so many in social media complex suffocating and subverting the truth, via censorship?”

Alex Newman reported that “the Republican-controlled Congress delivered record funding levels for the unconstitutional U.S. Department of Education – a department that President Donald Trump proposed abolishing on the campaign trail.” President Trump had asked funding to be slashed by $10 billion, instead its “discretionary spending” was increased by $2.5 billion.

The $1.3 billion omnibus bill just signed by President Trump not only did not abolish the U.S. Department of Education, but it gave it the highest-ever appropriation. The Institute of Education Sciences which has been mining data on America’s children for the past two decades was not eliminated as requested by this administration.

Highly effective public schools that are indoctrinating our children are still receiving “professional development” funds squandered on teacher indoctrination about “the alleged evils of free markets, Christianity, heterosexuality, whiteness, Western civilization, and more.” They will pass on the social constructs to students in the classroom every day instead of teaching them basic reading, writing, and arithmetic. http://freedomproject.com/the-newman-report/591-gop-congress-approves-surge-in-spending-on-fe-ed

The globalists are telling us and bragging about what they are doing in meetings, at conferences, town halls, international forums, and other “civil society” talks. Cameron asks if we have eyes and ears to see and hear what they are doing, if we are willing to escape the gravitational pull of lethargy to stop the insanity before it overwhelms us. Are we willing to leap-frog and hop out of the slowly boiling pot? Are we lulled to inaction because there are “minor truths seeded within the mega-attacks and these minor truths obfuscate the larger lies pushed upon us?”
As Arthur Blair used to say in one of his inimitable Orwellian quotes, “No advance in wealth, no softening of manners, no reform or revolution has ever brought human equality a millimeter nearer.” And brainwashing and knowledge squashing on a global scale through education to meet the plans of the powerful few will not bring us any closer to the impossible Marxist tenets of equality and social justice.

The #resist Movement as an International Phenomenon

A real resistor to communism
The #resist movement in this country started, by their own website admission, fifty years ago with the protest against the war in Vietnam. Today, they are resisting with vile language and actions our President Trump, his administration, police, all rational Americans who do not believe in anthropogenic global warming/climate change, our borders, our sovereignty, free markets, and anything rational that involves thought instead of rabid feelings. ANTIFA, a very fascistic organization, and BLM, a very racist organization, and pink vagina-hats women, are the most prominent and visible groups of the #resist movement.

Resistors are hateful, cowardly, but violent individuals who often engage in barking to the sky episodes, howling at the moon, or just dressing like lunatics, twisting in animalistic rituals as a form of protest art. When they are not busy shooting and killing cops, blocking interstates, highways, fire trucks and ambulances, they are trashing and burning neighborhoods and businesses of hard-working Americans.

Resistors have been indoctrinated and deluded into believing that humans caused climate change. Resistors, who often reside in their parents’ basements, feel that Trump is the worst president in history because communist community organizers created a caricature image of him as the devil and have sold this caricature to their mindless, pot-smoking followers who have never been able to pass a real science or math class, held a job other than baristas, but excelled in community organizing, fascistic feminism, social justice, racial division, and other useless college majors. Resistors collectively consider this caricature of Trump real.

Reality and sound judgment have long left the brains of resistors, washed and steeped in lies promoted non-stop by socialist public school teachers and college academia.

The #resist movement has become a world-wide phenomenon because communist community organizers, enabled by international and national NGOs with lots of money to burn from billionaires like Soros, have spread around the world to infect the young masses with their collectivist revolutionary message, carefully tailored to the local culture. If they are good at anything, community organizers know how to package lies and how to persuade the weak-minded that their carefully crafted rhetoric and euphemisms are true.

The U.S. resistors are big supporters of illegal immigration by using the argument that this country was built by immigrants. Yes, it was built by LEGAL immigrants, not people who crossed the border illegally by breaking our laws, or who came to deliver their babies in this country in order to gain access through anchor baby citizenship.

None of the immigrants who built this country demanded special rights and status as the illegals demand today with their powerful lobby and their Congressmen openly supporting illegals instead of the wishes of their constituents, the American citizens who elected them.

Ellis Island was teeming with LEGAL immigrants, fresh off the boats, who had to be screened in order to enter this country, learn English, and pass the health inspection or else be quarantined or sent back to where they came from.

No LEGAL immigrant was coming here for welfare benefits, to demand citizenship, equal benefits with American citizens, and to change our society to accommodate the hell-hole they escaped from.

America did accept the tired, the poor, the wretched of the world, but they were hard-working and healthy individuals from around the world, who shared the common goal of building America, not dismantling it in order to turn it into a basket case of communism and fascism.

The #resist movement in Eastern Europe is much more complicated. Consider the protesting young resistors in Romania. The founder is credited to be Andrei Rosu, a millennial long distance and high endurance runner. He had high hopes for the nascent democracy after 1990; after 27 years, he expected a competent, non-corrupt political system and government. Now on social media, the #rezistenta movement is “cooperating with NGOs” and talking about creating a party to represent them in Romania’s parliamentary elections.

Rosu said, “This beautiful country must be administered by honest and correct men, who do not lie, steal, who are interested in the people’s fate… When there is no more political theft, funds will be available for schools, hospitals, highways, etc.” He lamented that too many Romanians have left the country, a mass exodus of hard-working and highly educated people.

But is the #rezistenta movement in Romania only about getting rid of corrupt politicians who get elected just to enrich themselves at the public trough? Post-communist society in Romania today is built around an unfortunate combination of ill-conceived efforts and reactions to the life and experience of communism.

Darius Roby explained, “Romania is so enamored of everything ‘foreign,’ perhaps due to communist Romania’s drive for self-sufficiency, that Romanians hold no value for their own products and import more than they export; the Romanian currency [leu] is therefore collapsing. People are wondering why the only decent jobs available are in the realm of IT outsourcing.”

As a western observer, Roby believes that the #rezistenta movement is more of a reaction to corruption and economic reality than socio-cultural or geopolitical as in America or Western Europe. I believe that there is a geopolitical component to any #resist movement financed by globalist elites.

“The #rezistenta movement in Romania is aimed largely at the PSD [Social Democrat Party] and its attempts to legalize corruption.” Roby thinks that young people regret not having voted in the last parliamentary election when the government “bribed its way to power” by offering higher salaries and pensions without actually “providing opportunities for people to grow and develop in this country.” The mass employment emigration is directed to other parts of Europe and the U.S.

The main fear is that EU is going to kick Romania out of the union, a move that Romanians equate with being unable to seek employment in Europe and unable to cross its borders without visas/passports, a post-communist mindset. During Ceausescu’s communist regime, most Romanians were unable to leave the country and did not have a passport.

The #rezistenta movement might have geopolitical “divine” intervention and implications. A couple of years ago I saw a poster in a Catholic Church courtyard in Sibiu arguing against mining and for the protection of the environment. It is said that during the same time period, the Orthodox Church, allegedly funded and encouraged by Russia, organized protests against American-run fracking operations in Romania’s region of Moldova.

It would be interesting to find out, said Roby, how a “largely apathetic Romanian populace suddenly decided to protest corruption.”

The Romanian Orthodox Church’s message is that of maintaining family values, anti-homosexuality, and anti-multiculturalism. It is easy to see how Romanians would easily subscribe to the anti-multiculturalist agenda because Romania has fought the invading Ottoman Empire for centuries at great cost in human lives and economic development.

It is no longer just the west using NGOs to influence the public to promote their agendas. Russian NGOs are allegedly active in the rural country of Moldova, “telling villagers that joining the EU would destroy Moldova’s economy and that they should ensure a home for their agricultural exports by joining the Eurasian Economic Union.”

Capital Research Center wrote about George Soros’ funding of left-wing organizations in the U.S. and abroad through his Open Society Foundations (OSF). Only 15 percent of funds were actually dedicated in 2017 to U.S. organizations, the rest were used in foreign countries and for global projects aimed at “democratic development” in countries that already had democracies.  https://capitalresearch.org/article/george-soros-romanian-ghosts/

Jacob Grandstaff, writing for Capital Research Center, said in his December 21, 2017 article that “The U.S. State Department often teamed up with Soros and OSF to ‘promote democracy’ in Eastern European countries.” The modus operandi was to “infuse socially liberal propaganda through NGOs and Western-sponsored media – often going so far as to influence those countries’ elections.”

Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are indoctrinating a country’s young people with liberal social values. Neil Maghami wrote in 2006 that “In a sense NGOs are filling a power vacuum left by the collapse of the Soviet Union. After all, without the USSR what forces are there to stoke resentment in developing countries towards the rich industrialized states?” https://capitalresearch.org/article/forward-to-yesterday-ngos-wage-war-against-globalization/

This explains why every successful and young Romanian I have met in this country are highly liberal, worshipped former President Obama, despise President Trump, and admire the main stream media like CNN or MSNBC. The very people who benefitted from this country’s free market opportunities are now working with the left to destroy it and replace it with the communist dictatorship their parents and grandparents survived.

Recently, in one of the videos released by Project Veritas, a Romanian software engineer, speaking with a heavy accent, works in consensus with others on the video who boasted how Twitter “shadow bans” conservative Americans with whose opinion they disagree, in essence cutting their freedom of speech from social media.

Grandstaff wrote in the second recently released expose about Romania that “OSF’s progeny dominates much of the political discourse in that country” and how Soros “saw an opportunity to wield enormous political influence in the region.” https://capitalresearch.org/george-soros-romanian-ghosts-part-two/?blm_aid=25494

Grandstaff described how Mirel Palada, press secretary for former Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta, was one of the thousands of young Eastern Europeans, “novice, naïve, who were picked by Soros, shown America, paid for their studies, patiently building a network of people that would be grateful and he could use when their time comes and they become influential.” Palada said that this Eastern European network worked against Romania’s national interests.”

To curb Soros’s influence on Romania’s internal affairs, the PSD-controlled Senate passed a law in November which requires NGOs to report their revenue sources biannually and, if they engage in political advocacy, their taxpayer funding as “public utilities” is removed.

The PSD (Social Democrat) leader, Liviu Dragnea, is quoted as saying, “This man and the foundations and structures he has set up… since the 1990s… have furthered evil in Romania.”

NGOs and other Romanian opposition parties claim that PSD is using anti-Soros rhetoric in order to score cheap points of propaganda.

Romania’s first NGO, the Group for Social Dialogue (GDS) was established on December 30, 1989, on the steps of Bucharest Intercontinental Hotel. The founders were professors, philosophers, journalists, critics, activists, and the former editor of the Romanian Communist Party’s newspaper Scinteia (the Spark), Silviu Brucan.

When George Soros visited the newly formed group, he boasted, “I think I was the first civilian plane that landed in Bucharest.” He visited with charter members and with Silviu Brucan, the alleged confidant of Soviet Premier Mihail Gorbachev and the brain behind the revolution and the National Salvation Front that brought about Ceausescu’s downfall. Sadly, eighty percent of Romanian voters cast their ballots for the National Salvation Front ex-communists. http://katehon.com/article/soros-reign-romanian-example

Soros established his first NGO in Romania, the Soros Foundation, with an initial budget of $1.5 million. The Soros’s budget grew to $10 million and the name was eventually changed to the Foundation for an Open Society (FSD).

His foundation worked with the Romanian Ministry of Education to launch textbooks in Romanian schools, written by its own members. As always, the devil is in the details, and that entailed the careful brainwashing of generations of Romanian children in schools into the global citizen mindset, separated from their roots, history, and national identity. It is evident when you visit museums and buildings of historical importance that have been neglected since the “fall” of communism twenty-eight years ago.

According to Grandstaff, “As Romania moved closer to European Union membership, or democratic maturity in the eyes of Soros’s NGOs, the Soros network began engaging in more overt political advocacy.” https://capitalresearch.org/george-soros-romanian-ghosts-part-two/?blm_aid=25494

When the community of Rosia Montana was generally in favor of opening a gold mine in their village because they wanted to improve their living standards and job prospects, Soros’s NGOs did not offer any environmentally-friendlier alternatives.

One foreign activist is quoted from an email, “Why would any NGO come forward with alternative projects? That is not the job of civil society. We are not a humanitarian organization, but a militant environmental NGO. If the whole community is in favor of the project, we simply put it on the list of our enemies.”

Soros has also given indirectly millions of dollars to Romanian NGOs through the Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe. Young people were indebted – they got their Soros grants, their Soros college education, and their Soros trips. Soros left behind a “loyal army of grateful, civil society soldiers,” minions who work against the best interests of their own country. It is now clear why younger generations suddenly became interested in the #resist movement even though they did not bother to vote.

In the U.S. #resist movement and even the Romanian version, #rezistenta, it would be interesting to ponder and reconcile the relationship between the left and Islam, a bigoted religion which curtails the freedom of women, a religion designed to conquer non-Muslims through demographics and apartheid, and a legal system which rejects any other legal system and punishes apostasy with death.

If one speaks against Islam, the resistor left brands him/her a racist and a bigot and even punishes that individual with fines and jail in some Western European nations. Should one speak evil of Christianity, a religion that has undergone extensive reforms and modernization over the centuries, the left agrees enthusiastically and cheerfully.

Through the Fog of Time

The creek of our childhood Photo: Ileana 2015
As we age, humans tend to mellow out and nothing that had previously been that important matters anymore in the grand scheme of things. All struggles, frustrations, successes, victories, defeats, losses, and gains, dissipate in the fog of time. Regrets and memories of opportunities lost, of physical pain, of mental anguish and frustration diminish, replaced by arthritis, loneliness, and loss of loved ones. The struggle is still there for billions of others, very real and painful, but it seems almost irrelevant to us.

Romanians just lost their King Michael to old age, very old age, and their last hope that a monarchy might somehow right all the wrongs that had plagued the country politically was dashed and died with him. There won’t be another king. Some mourned him, most did not even know he existed nor cared. Like here, these citizens are part of the #resist movement yet they have no idea what they are resisting.

Yesterday I met one of my first cousins I adore (I have 27) and his lovely daughter Elena for lunch in a town nearby in Virginia. It was surreal. If you had told me 39 years ago that someday in the future, in a state far away, thousands of miles away from my former home in Romania, I would see one of my first cousins again, I would have been extremely incredulous and would have laughed, a physical impossibility.

Yet here we were, reminiscing about our childhood, how fast time flew, how my aunt passed away a week after a severe cough had plagued her for months, and the second stroke that killed my uncle while gardening. We compressed almost four decades of life, weddings, baptisms, burials, disputes, schools, professions, and family into two hours, surrounded by spouses, children, and grandchildren. Good food and beloved company are always relaxing.

He asked me about retirement, teaching, accomplishments, life in America, and it almost seemed like we were talking about someone else. What teaching accomplishments? It was just a job that paid me well. No teacher of the year for me and certainly no thanks for a job well done. I was not a Democrat, nor a communist, how could I possibly succeed in education and thrive? Mediocrity and collectivist politics ruled around me in academia. My cousin was shocked.

I told him about all the communists in education in America and he was almost incredulous. How could any rational human being possibly think that a Marxist ideology that killed 100 million people around the world can even remotely be considered in this beautiful country built on free markets, not oppression and tyranny?

My cousin had to work in difficult places around the world in order to bring home enough cash to build a beautiful villa for his family. Two of his three beautiful daughters moved to America, just like I did, in order to find freedom and opportunity for success that had been denied to many still in Romania, twenty-eight years after the “fall” of communism. They joined the five million other Romanians who immigrated around the globe in search of a better life for themselves and their families.

We talked about adjustment and assimilation, learning the language, becoming an American citizen and losing my Romanian citizenship, how it was so much harder for an older person to learn a new language and how little my mom learned in 37 years. Cousin Ionel learned Russian in school and found it much easier to learn and speak than the English language, even with the Cyrillic alphabet. Russian is very phonetic, it is pronounced the same way it is written, no wild variations as in the English language, he added.

We reminisced about fishing and swimming in the crystal clear river in his village, a river now so shallow that it looks more like a creek. The landscape was more verdant as more trees grew around it, seeded by the blowing wind. A nicely paved rural road now runs nearby, no more gravel roads, picking up dust every time the bus drove through.

Now every home has a nice car, food on the table, no lines, and a well-stocked country store, owned by his brother. The store stocks fresh meat and vegetables, frozen food, fresh bread, wine, sugar, cooking oil, flour, and anything a cook might need. There is even a gas pump on the side of the road. No gas station around it, just the pump. Bringing free markets to Romania changed the pastoral and isolated life for so many.

We talked about growing up. Cousin Ionel had three brothers and one sister. At meal time there was never enough to eat, it was a free-for-all. My aunt placed a large bowl of food in the middle of the table and the meal began after a very brief mandatory prayer, no portion sizes, whoever ate the fastest, got more to eat first. Poor Gigi, the runt of the family, was always left behind and hungrier than the rest. Even so, there was still not enough to nourish five growing children, we were still hungry and thin when we finished a meal, he said. I used to watch them eat so fast, wondering why my aunt did not give them each equal portions. As an only child, I only had to share food with my mom and dad. We were always hungry ourselves but I did not have to fight siblings at mealtime.

I looked at our table laden with food which we did not prepare but we could afford to pay someone else to prepare for us. Ionel and I never saw restaurant food when we were children and young adults. If it did not come from mom’s or grandma’s kitchen, we went hungry. Later in life, as we gained freedom of movement and our financial fortunes improved, we were able to taste our first restaurant meals and foods we’ve never known existed. Ionel is so cosmopolitan when compared to most people that he will eat any food put in front of him. He traveled around the globe through various jobs and sampled many cuisines and so did I.

It was sad to see him go, to say good-bye, almost as surreal as getting on a plane and finding yourself on the other side of the globe in mere hours. We were together for brief and happy moments, found our common roots, reminisced, but then we were lost again in the fog of time. A few photographs were the only proof that we celebrated today the memories from another life, far away from our humble beginnings.

#Resist, a Global Commie Totalitarian Movement

The leftist hordes of a communist political culture are on the march around the globe, in alliance with Islamofascism. These young people are shaped by universities, the media, Hollywood with their trashy productions and vile behavior, corrupt politicians with allegiance only to their own pockets, the multi-nationals, the corrupt judiciary, unions, and non-profits with billions and billions of dollars of funding from elitist billionaires such as George Soros who fancy themselves the social engineers of one world government and of the climate change industry.

What happened to American universities since the early 1970s has finally reverberated around the world, like a wave created by a small stone thrown on a placid lake. It has now become a tsunami of #resist anarchists and drones around the western world. They are now resisting authority, law and order, and the capitalist system that had made their parents successful in the first place. Marching under the banner of feminism and equality, asking to be Muslims, and promoting the subjugation of women in western societies, violent millennials are bullying anybody who is a Christian and a nationalist.

Campuses have become bastions of leftism and anti-Americanism. According to David Horowitz, the schools of education are now training teachers for social justice in every major.  “An entire series of texts designed for teacher instruction and published by Columbia Teachers College is devoted to ‘teaching social justice’ in mathematics and other unlikely subjects. Its editor is Obama collaborator and unrepentant terrorist William Ayers.” (David Horowitz, “Big Agenda,” p. 117)

Even in former Soviet-bloc countries the curriculum at all levels has been diluted by inconsequential studies that add nothing to scholarship or knowledge: ethnic studies, women’s studies, islamophobia studies, intersectionality, mixing biology, sex, religion, age, caste, nationality, race, and other bizarre criteria as systems of domination, discrimination, and oppression – all because the left finds social inequality and injustice everywhere.

Universities are no longer places of scholarship, invention, discovery, divergent opinions, peaceful discussion, but places of miseducation, indoctrination, and brainwashing. What these academics have achieved in a few decades, the totalitarian communists could only dream of. Inadequate graduates, who should have never been admitted to college in the first place, are now vessels of little knowledge who were told ad nauseam what to think, not how to think.

Radicals have crawled from the underground, spurred on by eight years of a radical American president who stoked the culture and racial wars non-stop, bringing America and its economy to its knees. The rest of the world watched in horror and disbelief the fall of the once great nation while dealing with their own problems brought on by a planned refugee invasion of Europe of millions of unvetted refugees from Middle-Eastern and African countries that harbor camps of Islamists fighting a holy war against Christianity.

Angela Merkel of Germany has managed to destroy her own country and many other countries in Europe who were forced to accept this flood of mostly single young Muslim men. And allegations are floating that she did it in order to save face, for optics, as the media would have gone berserk watching women and children being stopped at the border. For the sake of Merkel’s optics, Europe has become a safe-haven for terrorists and savages who slash and burn their way across many European countries with generous welfare states and no backbone to say no because it contradicts their multiculturalist generosity and Fabian socialist values.

It is not just the European youth who want to stay in college forever at the expense of government, with no idea as to what kind of taxes the rest of society must pay for all the welfare. Millennials are learning from their European counterparts that they deserve everything for free simply because they exist. The elderly in the former Iron Curtain countries are longing for the “simple days of communism.” And the young, who have no experience or idea what communism was like foolishly vote and demonstrate to bring about neo-communism.

The youth of Macedonia are involved in #resist and are active in trying to destabilize their center-right government, using anarchist advice from a translation into Macedonian of Saul Alinsky’s book, Rules for Radicals, and money from the many radical NGOs in the west, allegedly including the Open Society Foundations.

Much of the youth in Romania who demonstrated by the hundreds of thousands for days, resisting (#resist) against an imaginary oppression, did not bother to vote because the government was not giving them discounts to go by bus to vote, only to those who had to go by train. According to my friend Darius, who lives in Romania, the Social Democrat Party’s (PSD) hard-core senior supporters threatened their grandchildren if they went out to vote.  The elderly nostalgia for communism included the PSD promise of higher pensions. It did not matter to them that the PSD leader, Liviu Dragnea, was a “convicted criminal.” “Dragnea appointed a Muslim woman as Prime Minister. President Klaus Johannis rejected his PM choice as her husband’s ties to Syria came to light.”

Twenty-seven years after the theoretical fall of communism, Romania still struggles with the scars left by decades of totalitarian rule under a brutal communist dictator. Lacking the Romanian version of the American dream, most people put in positions of power use their authority to enrich themselves and their friends because stealing was a way of survival under communism and it remains “glorified” today. People vote for corrupt and often uneducated leaders because they sell their votes for a disposable cell phone or a 15 euro bribe. Then they complain when nothing changes. Corruption is a way of life, including the expectation and acceptance of bribes.

Poor Romanians, who fell through the cracks of EU development funds, still live the same deprived lives. They may find more food but cannot afford it, nor are they able to bribe doctors under the socialized medical care system. Unable to afford private insurance premiums, such superior care remains a luxury service. Consequently, many die of treatable conditions while waiting their turn  in numerous lines to be seen by socialized medicine government doctors.

Communist rhetoric of equality and social justice entices and mesmerizes well-fed and clothed American millennials who are surrounded by wealth, food, proper medical care, good housing, transportation, college education paid by Pell grants, electronic gadgets, their Starbucks lattes, heating, cooling, clean streets, cars, and malls. They have no idea what communist life was and is like. Few visit Cuba, Venezuela, or North Korea to see how people actually live under communist oppression. Thoroughly brainwashed, millennials dismiss as propaganda all testimonials of those who had lived under communism, survived and escaped to the west.

As Eugene Lyons wrote in his 1937 book, Assignment to Utopia,  ”The Russian Revolution, in March, 1917, was, for most of the boys in my college freshman classes, just one more headline in a time replete with startling news.” They understood it as the initial stage of the world revolution, the fight against capitalists in America, the very capitalism that gave new American arrivals an opportunity to a better life.

“Anarchists, socialists, American lumberjacks, Jewish clothing workers, Russian intellectuals, Italian terrorists, Hindu nationalists, even liberals with creases in their pants and Harvard accents” were part of the radical movements during Eugene Lyon’s youth.

Not unlike today, the rabid anarchists of the turn of the twentieth century were brainwashed in college and on the streets to fight against the “capitalist injustice.” Their simpler motives were greed and envy. The sweat shops of the have nots and the opulence of the haves were infuriating the anarchists, many of whom were either coming from a working class background or were well off and ashamed of their creature comforts, yet were unwilling to give them up.

The shackles binding the people of the world to oppression were the shackles fashioned by communist revolutionaries and Bolsheviks who had a huge following of college-age anarchists. Crafty and sly, the commies sugar-coated empty and deceptive promises of egalitarian utopia, passing on clever euphemisms to new generations, including today’s oblivious global citizen youth who have no clue what they are dreaming of and demanding in their #resist demonstrations and riots.
