Resident Alien

Unlike the newest Netflix show, in which an actual alien from space crash-lands in a pristine and small Colorado town where nothing criminal ever happens, the aliens I am describing are ordinary people.

When I came to the U.S., I was issued a permanent resident alien card which allowed me to live and work in the U.S. Mom was a resident alien too when she arrived. We did not mind the word “alien.”  We were not from here, so the lands were alien to us. We were treated accordingly by the southern population – we were considered aliens from a space they had no idea where it was geographically, and we did not belong there because we had no seven-generation ties to the place.

Then I applied to become a naturalized American citizen. At that point, they forced me to renounce my Romanian citizenship and I became persona-non-grata in both countries for the duration of the application process which took several years. I had a permit to travel to one place at a time which was only good for that trip.

Mom remained a Romanian citizen even though, when her passport expired, they did not renew it. She was persona-non-grata until she died in 2022, only allowed once to return to her country for a brief visit; when she reapplied, she was issued a piece of paper that said, she could travel back to Romania but once there, she would have to reapply for a Romanian passport. She was never allowed to vote in either country and was turned down when she tried to become a naturalized American citizen like me because she did not speak English much; she remained a resident alien. She was never offended by the term; she was glad to be here and away from communism from which she had defected.

Fast forward to the 21st century, the Democrats have decided that our country is racist and half of the population who voted for someone other than a Democrat were undesirables and ‘deplorables’ and therefore the regime must import enough illegal aliens to balance out the Americans who rejected the Democrats’ Marxist policies.

The influx of economically driven illegal aliens that followed was magically transformed into immigrants, undocumented immigrants, migrants, and political refugees with higher status than American citizens.

Pregnant illegals had babies on American soil and became instant American citizens dubbed “anchor babies.” It was not long before said anchor babies began running for political office which the U.S. Constitution said they were not entitled to but they were elected anyway because Democrats were popular, influential, and linguistically able to confuse the population into voting for their candidate. To do otherwise, a voter would be “racist” and nobody wants to be a racist.

Then there are the DACA individuals and the DREAM act for individuals who were brought here illegally as children. Democrats want to make them voting American citizens as well even though they already are citizens of their respective countries where they were born.

The term “illegal aliens” was considered racist by the radical left and therefore changed in documents and in the mainstream media narrative into “undocumented.” Nobody stopped to think that they were documented, but with documents from their own countries which they hid or shredded on their way to welfare-generous America. They swore to vote for Biden, their best choice for president.

The legal immigrants, more than four million of them, are still waiting at the back of the legal line for the disposition of their legal immigration petitions that have been back-logged for years while speedy precedence is given to those who had just crossed the border and claimed political asylum, as they were coached by the numerous NGOs running the Democrat invasion, i.e., the International Office of Migration (IOM), Red Cross, UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders, Catholic Charities, Baptist Charities, Lutheran Charities, and many others.

The legal immigrants must provide documentary evidence that they will be able to support themselves and not be a burden on the American taxpayers and medical records that they are not diseased and thus become an infectious problem for Americans and a financial burden to the overstretched health care system.

The transformation from illegal aliens and resident aliens to immigrants, undocumented immigrants, undocumented, immigrants, migrants, and not-yet Americans has been quite swift thanks to the radical left’s unending stream of acceptable euphemisms that do not insult the feelings of the superior third world invaders who now have the right to vote in American elections in perpetuity thanks to radical leftists staffing all levels of government, federal, state, and local.

Votes for the right regime do not come with a small price tag which the taxpayers are forced to subsidize. The effects on the American population all over the country, i.e., financial, inflation, government spending, housing, crime, education, safety, health, voting, are broad, ugly, and expensive.

Offensive Communist Lies

Communist dictators indoctrinate the masses with offensive lies on many subjects. In his book, Pinstripes and Reds, Ambassador Funderburk coined the term “Ceausescuisms,” referring to the peculiar lies spun by the communist dictator.

“Romania’s religious policy is more liberal than that of the U.S,” said the Romanian dictator. That was such a blatant lie, there was no liberalism in his communist society where “every institution or group had to be registered by the state.” Lecturing a U.S. Congressional delegation in 1983, Ceausescu told them that he “did not need any more American type of religious groups, such as a third Baptist cult in Romania.”

Religion in his police state was tightly controlled by the Communist Party which had infiltrated heavily its Orthodox Church ranks in seminaries. For Seminaries to be allowed to exist, they had to be approved by the state, and so did the church parishes. The priests had to be approved by the Communist Party, even in remote villages. Priests survived financially with a small monthly salary paid by the state and from parishioners’ donations.

There were some priests who were honest and did not comply with the communist party dictates on faith, but they were few and far between. Their sermons did not indoctrinate the faithful into submission to communist rule. Some were heavily persecuted for their religious beliefs which they imparted honestly to the faithful despite the discomfort their actions caused them. Some were tortured and even killed in the many communist prisons.

The church was allowed to exist because it was a convenient tool to control the population, for weddings, baptisms, and burials. Regular participation in services every week was discouraged except for old ladies in rural areas. Nobody cared how often they attended services.

I genuinely believed that, once the communists “fell” from power in 1989, the church will be free of the police state control and people will worship liberally. It is true that more than 6,000 churches have been built and many repaired, but the numbers of the faithful did not swell as much as expected. People, who had been severely brainwashed by decades of communist oppression, were resentful that the state was spending money to build and repair churches instead of building schools and hospitals.

Young generations were schooled in the west, some in the country, but all used curricula and textbooks written by George Soros’ NGOs that penetrated Romania right after the December 1989 revolution and Christmas 1989 execution of the Ceausescus.

Their education was saturated with globalist ideas and the new religion of environmentalism and Mother Gaia worship, to the detriment of humans. The youth, like everywhere else in the world, were encouraged to separate themselves from history, from who they were, from where they came from, and to become global citizens beholden to a globalist government at the U.N.

Milan Kundera wrote very aptly in his book,

“The first step in liquidating a people is to erase its memory. Destroy its books, its culture, its history. Then have somebody write new books, manufacture a new culture, invent a new history. Before long that nation will begin to forget what it is and what it was... The struggle of man against power is the struggle of memory against forgetting.”

One story highlighted the level of brainwashing among young priests who were born and raised in the “free-of-communism” society, as members of the European Union since 2007.

While visiting Romania in 2015, I came upon a beautiful wood church in Poiana Brasov, near the famous ski slope where international competitions were held for many decades during the communist regime. Close to the church was a memorial to Liviu Cornel Babes, a 47-year-old Romanian electrician and painter, who committed suicide by immolation, coming down the Bradu ski slope at Poiana Brasov on March 2, 1989, to protest Ceausescu’s tyrannical regime. He was carrying the sign, “Stop Murder! Brasov = Auschwitz.” He lasted to the bottom of the slope where he fell off his skis, moaning in agonizing pain. He was not given any medical care at the hospital and died from his severe burns two hours later. He was not declared a hero until June 2007 (Law no. 93).

As I entered the beautiful but tiny Orthodox church, a young priest came over and started a conversation with me. I asked him about the memorial outside and, what the priest said, would not have shocked me during the communist regime when the Orthodox Church was heavily infiltrated by communists. Priests had to carry the Marxist indoctrination to the parishioners because they were paid by the police state and were allowed to be priests only with their permission. “If Liviu would have minded his own business and had done what the communist leaders told him to do, he might still be alive today.”

Here was this young priest, 26 years after communism “fell” on December 25, 1989, and yet he was advocating in 2015 that the population should have obediently embraced their oppressors and should have been submissive indefinitely to the communist tyranny.

Historically, if we study what happened in the communist colony at Plymouth, Massachusetts, we find that the religious men and women of the colony grew discontent with the commune life and resented each other; single men felt like slaves when they had to work for other men’s wives, and married women resented having to cook and do the laundry for their own husbands and for the single men in the colony.

It was clear, as W. Cleon Skousen wrote in The Naked Communist, “Communism cannot be practiced without setting up a dictatorship” because even religious men and women are not altruistic enough. Governor Bradford himself “concluded that Communism is not only inefficient but that it is unnatural and in violation of the laws of God.”

During the same December 1983 meeting with the U.S. Congressional delegation, the communist dictator asked of those present, “Don’t you wish you had only one political party in the U.S.?”

We have heard this same question uttered in the 21st century speeches, by Democrat politicians who wished that the U.S. had just one party in control of the country, copying the Chinese model of governance, which they believed to be perfect.

Today we have more than 30 states with a “trifecta,” the one-party rule (Democrat Party) of the Senate, the House, and the judiciary. Such Democrat states are mismanaged and corrupt, in financial dire needs which require heavy federal cash infusions, gang-ridden, and plagued by high crime.

The question I have asked rhetorically many times, still troubles me; has communism really died? Or has it just gone underground after 1989 and regrouped to infest and capture western cultures without bullets, violence, and force, just by indoctrination in schools and in the media owned by six corporations and beholden to the Democrat Party? The honest answer is, yes.

Empires End Eventually and Ours Is Comatose

Throughout human history, there have been approximately 60 empires, some longer lived than others. They left significant traces in both eastern and western  civilizations. Britannica names eight of the largest empires but leaves out conspicuously the Roman Empire: Persian, Mongol, Ottoman, Han Dynasty, Umayyad Caliphate, Spanish Empire, Russian Empire, and the British Empire. 8 of the Largest Empires in History | Britannica

The Mongol Empire of the 13th and 14th centuries was the most contiguous empire in history. The Umayyad Caliphate comprised 4 million square miles.

The Han dynasty ruled from 206 B.C. for 400 years.

The Ottoman (Islamic) Empire occupied parts of three continents during 16th and 17th centuries. It “collapsed in the early years of the 20th century.”

Persian Empire (Achaemenian) under Cyrus the Great occupied lands from Iran to Central Asia and Egypt. It fell in 333 B.C.

The Spanish empire, at its height in the 1700s stretched over 5.3 million square miles. This colonial empire existed from 1492 until 1649 (the decline) or 1976, depending on who you ask. It controlled parts of Africa, Europe, Oceanic islands, and both Americas.

The Russian Empire controlled 8.9 million square miles at its height in 1895. Historians agree that this empire and the Little Ice Age had played important roles in stopping Napoleon’s conquest of Europe.

The mighty British Empire, now a shadow of its former self, controlled a quarter of the planet and of its population. A few of the former colonies remain part of the Commonwealth of Nations to this day.

Hitler’s Third Reich (empire), as he proclaimed it, was supposed to last a thousand years. It lasted a little over a decade, from 1933 until its pronounced defeat in 1945 by the Allies in WWII.

The Roman Empire was established in 27 B.C. by Augustus Caesar who proclaimed himself the first Emperor of Rome. Rome itself was founded in 753 B.C.

Then there was the Holy Roman Empire which was neither holy, nor Roman, nor an empire. Headed by a Holy Roman Emperor, this “polity” developed in the Early Middle Ages in Europe and lasted almost a thousand years until its dissolution in 1806 during the Napoleonic Wars.

The Roman Empire stretched all over Europe and North Africa. It lasted more than a thousand years if one takes into account the Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantine Empire) which ended with the fall of Constantinople in 1453 A.D. and its capture by the Turks.

It is interesting how this eastern empire still called itself Roman even though it had become more Greek in life and language. It is true that within its walls, Constantinople furthered Roman learning and law.

The advance of the Roman Empire was always halted by the barbaric tribes in the north and east, so called because they wore beards (barbarus, bearded in Latin) – Franks, Saxons, Alemanni, Vandals, Ostrogoths, Visigoths, Alans, and Huns.

At its height, Rome, the seat of the Roman Empire, was a superb megalopolis of more than one million people. The Forum, built by Emperor Augustus (27 B.C.-14 B.C.), dominated the city and was the commercial and political life of Rome, expressing through its greatness the power of the Roman Empire itself.

Alaric and his armies sacked the “Eternal City” in August 410 A.D., a sweltering day according to historians. The gates were opened to the Gothic armies camped outside Rome; the city that stood unconquered for 800 years.

St. Jerome, born in Rome, but residing in distant Bethlehem, lamented: “When the brightest light on the whole Earth was extinguished, when the Roman Empire was deprived of its head, when, to speak more correctly, the whole world perished in one city, I was dumb with silence.” Thus began the decline of the western Roman Empire into oblivion in 476 A.D. when Emperor Romulus Augustus was deposed by his own German commanders.

It was not just the fall of an empire, but the end of the world as they knew it. But the Goths and their leader, Alaric, did not want to destroy it, they just wanted the benefits of the Roman way of life, land for his men and title of allied commander.

The fall of Rome started much earlier in subtle ways; the Goths had adopted Roman ways while many generations of Romans living in far-away parts of the Roman empire had adopted the barbarians’ way of life. Roman soldiers were recruited from the Germanic people who had no loyalty whatsoever to Rome.

A Vandal, King Gaiseric, did not just capture Rome, he destroyed it in 454 A.D. but the initial sacking of the “Eternal City” in 410 A.D. remained in history the most significant marker of the fall of the Roman Empire.

Evidence found in Circenster, the second-largest city in Roman Britain, points to lead poisoning in bones discovered in tombs there. It is not known if they died from such high lead concentrations (ten times the normal, especially in children) but it is known from contemporary accounts that people suffered from symptoms of chronic lead poisoning, severe headaches, and paralyzed limbs.

Water was carried through lead pipes, Romans drank from lead cups, cooked in lead pots, and even used lead oxide to sweeten wine or as make up for their faces and to powder their hair. Lead poisoning also caused sterility, but we do not have records to prove such a population decline in the west, but it may have been likely.

The eastern part of the empire did not have many lead pipes and used pottery for their cups and dishes. Mines in the eastern part of the empire were fewer. This small fact may have lengthened their existence beyond the 5th century, way into the 15th century.

Eventually the Roman Empire’s frontiers became vulnerable to attacks from various barbarian tribes and could not be defended from constant barbarian invasions.

The main lessons from the Roman Empire's demise are that it fell because of greed, corruption, immorality, debauchery, inability to defend its vast borders, massive invasion from poor neighbors who envied the Roman lifestyle and its riches and wanted lands and wealth, and potential lead poisoning which led to a population decline. It is important to note that the Roman Empire's decline and fall were not carefully orchestrated from within, by its own Curia and Senators, its fall happened gradually over hundreds of years.

NOTE: Our Constitutional Republic, which today most ignorant Americans think it is a democracy, a few an American Empire, and some an experiment, is now comatose.

Communist Word Salad

I sat in the required Scientific Socialism class with eyes glazed over, pretending to pay attention to the daily indoctrination, a bona fide class which we had to pass in the communist education system to advance to the next grade. There was no science in such a class, just endless word salads in hundreds of paragraphs, each made more pompous by flowery euphemisms which did not reflect reality at all.

The rhetoric was the same and we had to memorize the word salads by heart, essays devoid of reality which included endless, shallow in meaning paragraphs. The word salads extolled the miracles of the proletariat living in a just and happy socialist society that only existed in the confusing theoretical explanation of Marx’s Communist Manifesto pamphlet and in the heads of the Bolsheviks.

As a logical and thinking person, it was impossible to believe the cleverly crafted communist lies when reality surrounded us with misery every day – endless lines for food, services, medical care, and transportation in rickety buses or dirty trains. These liars forced the proletariat to survive on 200 g of food per day, while they ordered expensive food from abroad. They robbed and stole from the exploited people and threw dissenters in jail. They called us the proletariat and they ruled and controlled us with their “dictatorship of the proletariat” nonsense. The proletariat did not rule anything. We were controlled by the Communist Party rulers.

While the working class had one pair of shoes and one outfit per year, the dictator Ceausescu and his wife burned their clothes and shoes every day. They never wore the same outfits twice for fear of contact poisoning. Their obscene and wasteful wardrobe outdid Imelda Marcos’ 3,000 pairs of shoes.

Propaganda filled the pages of magazines, newspapers, and books with florid language and meaningless paragraphs about the virtues of socialism and communism, hollow word salads written by many writers and poets employed by the regime, crafty writings that we were forced to memorize and regurgitate convincingly in class.

We were terrorized by fear by a Marxist tyrant who deprived us of dignity, food, heat, electricity, medicine, medical care, decent housing, and adequate clothing. He held endless monologues in front of the nation while the attendees had to clap every other paragraph.

He had children, young people, and old adults killed. His henchmen took orphans, abandoned children, and trained them to be murderers of their own people. They cut off oxygen lines in hospitals and shot people in their hospital beds. They hid food reserves that could have fed entire cities for months.

In the communist tyrant’s word salad monologues (the dear leader loved to hear himself talk), clasa muncitoare (the working class) pops up constantly. He was referring to Marx’s proletariat, which is the working class of the 19th century.

Marx wrote that the proletariat sells its labor, deriving no profit from it, only the bourgeoisie does. Communists promised that such unfair practices would end under communism, private property would be confiscated, and distributed it to the proletariat. It was confiscated but nothing was distributed to the proletariat.

The working class still sold its labor cheaply to the only employer, the Communist Party, with its apparatchiks and informers who lived well from the profits and from the stolen property of the so-called bourgeoisie (the landed class).

Hegelian dialectic provided communists with convenient excuses to exploit the proletariat by duping them that they were being taken care of by the best social and political system in the world, a blatant lie.

Hegel was an idealist – his dialectic method of philosophy stated that the universe was both rational and spiritual. Karl Marx borrowed Hegel’s dialectic method to explain his materialistic concept of philosophy. Hegel used the dialectic method to interpret the past and the present. Marx used the dialectic method to explain the past and present and to predict the future, and to understand “the general laws of development” of nature and of history.

Communists claim three laws which govern the function of the dialectic:

1.     The law of unity and struggle of opposites (opposing classes that struggle, example used was the breakdown of atoms into protons and electrons)

2.     The law of negation (a thesis is negated by antithesis and thus produces the synthesis and then the synthesis becomes a new thesis against which a new antithesis arises; each step is described as a higher stage of development)

3.     The law of the sudden leap (quantitative changes often produce a qualitative change; as an example, they use water to make the argument that large quantity of it will be changed by temperature into steam (sudden leap and quantitative change).

Using this line of reasoning, communists tried to explain the development of man as follows:

-         Inanimate objects experienced quantitative changes and became living organisms because of a sudden leap.

-         Animals became men following more quantitative changes.

-         A sudden leap produced the human mind.

Applying this flawed line of reasoning to social order, communists describe their revolution as a “sudden leap that ushers in a new form of society.” Marx and Engels wrote that “the nature of a society at any given time was the direct result of the means of production then in effect,” which they called the substructure of society.” They identified the state, law, morality, and culture as the “superstructure.”

Following this fallacious argument, the communist view of history is a ladder which starts with the primitive-communal society, slavery, feudalism, capitalism, and finally ends with communism, the stage of a classless society in which the dialectical materialism process will cease to operate. The communist man will no longer be motivated by self-interest and there will be “no distinction between mental and physical labor and material abundance, absolute equality, and true social justice will prevail.”

This historical materialism which focuses on economics may seem to support the social inequities theory. But the communists cleverly cherry-picked historical occurrences that supported their flimsy theory. It is certainly not consistent with all historical events. Marx and Engels lived in the period of the Industrial Revolution when there were great social inequalities and large differences between economic classes.

Historical materialism is not a science of history, nor a science at all. Its five-stage communist development fails to explain societies in Asia. “Unlike Western society, which is based on private ownership of the means of production, the Asiatic society was based on state ownership of the means of production. Such despotic societies had two classes, state bureaucracy and the masses. The masses had no power. The Asiatic society never went through the feudal era, and it was notable for the absence of class revolutions.” (J.E. Hoover, A Study of Communism, 1962, p. 45)

Communists were and are wrong. History was and is influenced by many factors, not just economics and social justice. Famous people, good and bad (Lincoln, Washington, Martin Luther, Napoleon, Hitler, Karl Marx, Stalin, Mao) and inventors (Madam Curie, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, Archimedes, Galileo, Copernicus) changed the course of the world. Other factors influenced the course of history, i.e., patriotism, quest for justice, religion, service, personal power, love, hate, revenge, beliefs, ideals, traditions, truth. Furthermore, the laws of natural science can never be applied to history and sociology. And history and sociology can never be exact like chemistry and physics.

The communists use the standard, “from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs,” but who will decide where the person will work and what will satisfy his needs? Will each person determine his own ability and needs? How much chaos will that entail?

A pamphlet from December 1959, titled “Communist Illusion and Democratic Reality” states that “Communism propaganda portrays peace, social progress, and economic prosperity as characteristic of the communist world and claims that these make communism invincible. The noncommunist world, on the other hand, is pictured as seething with political instability, economic exploitation, and social upheaval.”

Having experienced on our necks the heavy socialist boot of the Communist Party, we can attest that peace comes from the ends of the communist guns, social progress is crowded in concrete grey apartment complexes, and economic prosperity was expressed painfully and daily while standing in long lines outside of stores to buy bread, bones, milk, cooking oil, and other hard to find necessities for survival.

The communist dictator’s word salad monologues did not feed our hungry bellies and the desire for real freedom outside the heavily controlled and locked borders, which kept us prisoners inside, was burning hot in our souls.

Jamestown Settlement, 417 Years Ago

On the 400 year-anniversary (quadricentennial) of the Jamestown settlement on the coast of Virginia, Queen Elizabeth II toured its museum on May 4, 2007, to commemorate the first permanent English settlement in the New World.

Three English ship, carrying 144 men and boys, set sail on December 20, 1606, bound for Virginia. Sailing the favored southerly course across the Atlantic Ocean, using trade winds and making stops at numerous islands to resupply, after more than four months at sea and 6,000 miles in very cramped quarters with unsanitary conditions, the English finally saw the Virginia coast.

Share of the Virginia Company

A reconnaissance party was sent ashore while the ships dropped anchor at Cape Henry. A small band of Indians attacked the scouting party and they retreated to the ships with two wounded men.

That night the Virginia Company orders were opened and the names of the seven men appointed to the colony’s council were read.

Several days later the settlers raised a cross and named the cape in honor of Prince Henry, the son of James I. This ceremony confirmed English claims to Virginia established twenty years earlier by the Roanoke colony.

But England’s first successful colony in America was not established by the English government, but by a privately owned business called the Virginia Company of London. The investors hoped to profit from the potential wealth of the New World. In 1606 King James granted the organizers of the company exclusive rights to settle in Virginia.

The Company was planning to find wealth, to convert the Indians to Christianity, to create jobs for the English unemployed, to seek a route to the Orient, and to tap whatever resources were found in the New World.

“A charter granted land to two branches of the Virginia Company – the London branch was to plant a colony near the Chesapeake Bay, while the Plymouth branch was granted land in the New England area. The Company paid all the costs of establishing each colony, and in return owned all land and resources there and required everyone to work as a servant to the Company.”

According to the museum, the investors were called “adventurers” who purchased shares of company stock to “help finance the costs of establishing overseas settlements or trading posts.”

The money from the sale of stocks bought ships, supplies, and recruited laborers. The eventual profits were to be shared among all of the “adventurers.”

One share of stock in Virginia Company cost 12 pounds 10 shillings, which represented more than six months’ wage of an ordinary worker. Shareholders could buy stocks individually or in groups. Almost 1700 people bought shares and the investors were found among people of different classes, occupations, wealthy women, guilds, towns, and cities. Merchants, especially from London, joined before 1610 and purchased more than half of the investments. As profits failed to materialize, the London merchants lost their interest even though they were the driving force of England’s expansion. Shares in New World companies, including the Virginia Company, were advertised in pamphlets, plays, sermons, broadsheets in order to raise awareness in the New World investments.

The largest shareholder in the Virginia Company of London was the Third Baron De La Warr, Thomas West, who was appointed Lord Governor and Captain General of Virginia for life in 1610. When he arrived in Jamestown in June 1610, he was able to save the struggling colony from being abandoned. Thomas West was the cousin of Queen Elizabeth I and a member of the Privy Councils of both Elizabeth I and James I.

In poor health, Thomas West returned to England in 1611. Lord and Lady de la Warr were Pocahontas’ sponsors for her court presentation to King James and Queen Anne on January 6, 1617.

Thomas West died in 1618 while attempting to return to Virginia to resume his duties as governor.

From the War Museum

When Germany invaded the Soviet Union, Romania's military contributed the most soldiers of all the satellite powers. The soldiers were the worst equipped of Germany's allies, according to the War Museum, but their numbers enabled them to conduct major operations on their own.

Romanian divisions were almost exclusively responsible for the siege and capture of the Black Sea port of Odessa. Following the bloody victory, the Romanians participated heavily in the conquest of Sevastopol, in the Crimea.

In 1943 all of Germany's co-belligerents experienced disasters and retreat and the Romanians still serving on the Eastern Front retreated as well.

In August 1944 Romania changed sides and fought against the Germans until the end of the war. Unfortunately, the Soviet Army occupied Romania for fifteen years after the war's end, ensuring its captivity behind the "Iron Curtain."

Fort Monroe

A visit to Newport News, Yorktown, and Jamestown, Virginia are important steps in tracing the history of our United States.

In 1607 Captain Christopher Newport searched the land of the Kecoughtan tribe.  His exploration brought English colonists to the New World. They named the area Cape Comfort before moving up the James River to settle at Jamestown.

Captain James Smith, who surveyed the area between 1607 and 1609, believed it to be an ideal place for a fort.

During the War of 1812, British soldiers burned Hampton and occupied the Old Point Comfort Lighthouse.  The British Navy sailed unopposed all the way up the Chesapeake Bay to Fort McHenry in Baltimore, burning Washington, D.C., along the way.

President James Monroe saw the importance of establishing fortifications on the eastern seaboard so that no ships could pass again through and come within range of Washington to burn the city down.

President James Madison hired a French engineer, Brevet Brigadier General Simon Bernard, to design a network of coastal defenses to protect the nation from future attacks.

Initial planning was made in 1817 for Fort Monroe, the largest of these fortifications. The construction for Fort Monroe was decided near the point where the Chesapeake Bay meets Hampton Roads, a natural deep-water channel that made it a critical defense site.

The actual construction of Fort Monroe began in 1819. During the early 1820s, construction required the delivery of 800,000 bricks per month. These bricks were produced within a mile of the fort. Granite was brought from quarries along the Susquehanna River in Maryland. The main fortification was completed in 1834.

Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederate States, spent time in this casemate May 22- October 2, 1865, as prisoner of war, before he was moved to Carroll Hall in the fortress; he remained there until May 1867 when he was released on bail and never brought to trial.

Brevet Brigadier General Simon Bernard was a member of the French Army’s Engineer Corps and former aide-de-camp to Napoleon. Marquis de Lafayette recommended the general to President James Madison and Gen. Bernard arrived in the U.S. in 1816. President Madison placed Bernard at the head of the Board of Engineers, which was charged with constructing coastal defenses, forts, roads, and canals.

Climbing to the top of the fort gave us a breathtaking view of the Chesapeake Bay. A pet cemetery circled the ramparts which I thought a bit odd.

Land Grab, Return to Feudalism in the 21st Century

"We want land!" - Poem written in 1907 by George Cosbuc

Writing about U.N. Agenda 21 document signed by 178 countries in 1992 in Rio, has garnered me the title of “conspiracy theorist,” and worse. No ad hominem attacks have succeeded in derailing me -- our country and future are too important.

The global governance I wrote about in my book, U.N. Agenda 21: Environmental Piracy, has been gradually implemented at all levels of government by executive orders, laws, regionalism, private/public partnerships, land grab and control, invasion of borders, no sovereignty, fiat currency replacement with digital currency, no national language, reduced mobility, water and travel restrictions, smart grids, fossil fuel interdictions and replacement with “green” energy, agricultural tampering, weather modification with cloud injections with toxic particles to mitigate the so-called global warming, population redistribution through mass migration/invasion, IOM-directed open borders, education indoctrination, no suburbia, and many others.

The federal government continues to acquire and control public lands. Already fifty percent of the land in western U.S. and 80 percent in Nevada is owned by the government.

Non-governmental organizations (NGOs), mushrooming in the 21st century nationally and internationally, have bought private land and took it out of use in perpetuity via special contracts with farmers called agricultural conservation easements. Reducing taxation on their private lands in exchange for such conservation easements has been enticing to the farmers who did not realize that they were locking their lands into conservation forever.

Farmers and landowners can no longer do anything on their lands without the approval of the NGO that holds the conservation easement contract.

Many public and private land areas have been slated for “re-wilding,” a return to nature with no human habitation; other areas have been subjected to the reintroduction of once extinct animals such as wolves, who now kill the ranchers’ cattle.

According to Margaret Byfield, her family has been embroiled in cattle grazing and water rights litigation with the federal government for 27 years. Her family owns 7,000 acres of land in Nevada. https://rumble.com/v47r7oi-land-grabs-30-x-30-and-natural-asset-companies.html

U.N. Agenda 21, now morphed into U.N. Agenda 2030, requires that every societal decision be made with the environmental impact on global land use, global education, and global population control and migration in mind.

U.N. Agenda 2030 has deemed “not sustainable” most human activities that form our modern civilization: private property, fossil fuels, consumerism, farming, irrigation, commercial and small farm agriculture, pesticides, herbicides, farmlands, livestock grazing, paved roads, golf courses, ski lodges, logging, dams, reservoirs, fences, power lines, suburban living, and the family unit.

Another U.N. driven, international policy initiative, 30x30, calls for the “formal protection of at least 30 percent of land and water by 2030 and eventually 50 percent. The science behind such an initiative is not based on hard scientific data but on computer models which are faulty at best.

The U.S. target is to increase the federal land holdings from 300 million acres to a goal of 30 percent by 2030. To reach that goal, an additional 400 million acres must be taken from private owners. The acquisitions will include national parks, national refuges, wilderness areas, and private lands with conservation easements in place.

Executive order #14008 of July 27, 2021, established that climate crisis is the most important national security issue and we must make sure that a “safe global temperature is achieved.” Nobody explained what a “safe global temperature” is, who decides that number, and how it is evaluated to make sure that number is “safe”? And who decides the definition of “safe” and its scientific and tested parameters? https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/executive-order-14008-tackling-the-climate-crisis-home-and-abroad

“Shortly after taking office, President Joe Biden signed an Executive Order, directing the Department of Interior to outline steps to achieve the President’s commitment to conserve at least 30% of U.S. lands and waters by the year 2030, as recommended by scientists, to safeguard our health, food supplies, biodiversity, and the prosperity of every community. The Department of the Interior will undertake the process with broad engagement, including agricultural and forest landowners, fishermen, outdoor enthusiasts, sovereign Tribal nations, States, Territories, local officials, and others to identify strategies that reflect the priorities of all communities.” 30x30 Conservation Initiative: What Is It? | RVIA

A group of financial analysts decided around 2021 that it was time to make money from securities of natural assets, agricultural land and parks, and the idea of a natural asset company (NAC) was born.

NACs describe their problematic securities as such:

1.     Purpose (unlock the value of natural assets by allowing investors to participate in their management and the ecological benefits); by what metric is this done and who decides; who is then the actual owner of the natural asset? The securities investors or the generational owner with a deed to the land?

2.     Assets covered (marine ecosystem, forests, and agricultural land) How is this not a land grab?

3.     Ecological performance (NACs quantify and monetize natural outputs; treating them like a form of currency. NACs may profit from activities related to conservation, restoration, or sustainable management. Who decides the quantification, how is it done, by what metric, and how is it a form of currency?

4.     Control of Lands (public and private land, land use decision and access to natural resources on that land); sounds like a land grab to me!

5.     Global Impact (how we value and manage our natural resources); who are we?

A Natural Asset Company (NAC) is a security that “holds rights and manages the productivity and ecological benefits of natural assets such as natural forests, marine areas, and farmland.” It is a clear land grab, commercial fishing rights grab, mineral rights grab, mining rights grab, logging rights grab, etc. from the private owners.

Push back from the public squashed the SEC’s proposed rule to approve such a move and the NYSE withdrew the application. In “the fleecing of America’s property rights,” the good guys won the first battle but not the war.

As of now, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the lynchpin of U.N. Agenda 2030, are included in everything and everywhere around the planet. I came to the realization that this agenda is so insidious and so much part of every facet of our society, that it will take a huge miracle to dismantle it.

The already ensconced U.N. Agenda 2030 is regulating and controlling the globe into economic destruction and regression to a feudal society whereby 21st century humans are beholden to the police state, to the landed, to the water and resources lords, to the globalist government.

The Fundamental Transformation of America

“The Presidency is an institution, not a person.”  - 1997 movie quote

I am not sure how many people paid careful attention to President Obama’s speech in Columbia, Missouri, on October 30, 2008, in which he promised, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” The crowd applauded gleefully without realizing that their culture will never be the same again. The crowd applauded gleefully without realizing that their culture will never be the same again. In five days, his election would mark the beginning of the rapid and fundamental transformation of America.

People did not realize that in fifteen years, their country will begin to look more and more like a banana republic ruled by unseen forces, more insidious, and more powerful than any communist regime could have ever imagined, aided by a corrupt Uniparty, its media mouthpiece, and technocrats controlling the masses and their former free speech with the ease of algorithms, buttons, cameras, and the latest electronic gadgets.

But the most successful element of the Marxist coup espoused so boldly by Obama has been the invasion of the country by illegal aliens and the replacement of the voting and taxpaying American citizens with foreign nationals, enemies within and without.

Miseducation and successful indoctrination in public schools and universities have been the primary tools of population change and replacement, the drivers of acceptance to culturally erase an empire and “guiding” everyone into sheepish submission.

Carefully planned and funded invasion by our government and the U.N.’s IOM, under the guise of population migration caused by climate change, put a final nail in the fundamental transformation of the United States of America.

To make sure there are no dissenters, the government implemented a tight policy of DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) across the board. Nobody dared to ask the important questions begging to be addressed in a logical and rational world:

1.     How is diversity making the country better? Did the Roman Empire survive because it was so diverse, composed of people from across many lands, speaking so many languages, people following their own cultures and refusing to learn Latin? Was Roman society progressing because this veritable Tower of Babel inhabited the Roman Empire lands, or was it regressing to pacify the culturally different newcomers who wanted what the Romans had but without the arduous work that made the Empire what it was? The newcomers wanted the spoils, not the Roman culture.

2.     How is equity, equal outcomes for unequal contributions and work, making the country better? How is rewarding those who do not work, never contributed, equal outcomes to those who did work and contributed? Even the Soviet Empire frowned upon those who wanted to live off welfare without working even though able to work but unwilling.

3.     How is forced inclusion going to make our country better? How does “inclusive management” work? Can we just take anyone off the street and make them managers despite their shortcomings, lack of experience, training, and education? Do we want to be operated on by a doctor that was included in the program because he/she represented a certain demographic but lacked in ability? Should we let a pilot fly a plane based on inclusion even though he/she failed the piloting program miserably and keeps crashing the simulator planes?

How exactly are the millions of illegal aliens, flown and bussed to sanctuary cities in the U.S., going to make our American society better when they refuse to learn English and form identical cultural clusters around each other, replicating the cultural conditions, crime, and the drug cartel-controlled societies they migrated from?

Americans do not appear curious about the invasion of immigrants with which they are being replaced. The vast and carefully planned migration is orchestrated and facilitated by their own government and by the United Nations’ International Office for Migration (IOM) and paid via many non-governmental organizations (NGOs) funded by our government. But Dr. Brett Weinstein, a biologist, was curious enough to travel with his wife to the Darien Gap to see for himself what was happening.

The Darien Gap is a 60-miles disruption of impenetrable jungle across the border between Colombia and Panama in the continuous stretch of the Pan American Highway which runs from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to the southern tip of South America. The highway runs through dense jungles, tundra, and deserts.

The 60-mile stretch is such an unforgiving mountainous terrain, a continental divide that, without proper training, preparation, and guide, anybody is in grave peril. The migrants are exposed to robberies, rape, hypothermia, falls on slippery ground, constant wetness, trench foot, and death. Without a support system, many die in the Darien Gap and some migrants step over dead bodies. Yet 520,000 migrants have crossed the Darien Gap in 2023.

Dr. Weinstein believes that the massive invasion of people is both migration and invasion. The actual trek starts in Ecuador (it does not require a visa) where foreign nationals arrive by plane. All South American countries have stringent immigration controls and laws and enforce their borders but allow these migrants to cross their territories.

The men, mostly military age, are loaded onto buses, are waved on through to transit camps by all other countries on the condition that they stay bound for the United States.

Dr. Weinstein said that those he saw in the Canaan Membrillo Camp admit openly that they migrated for economic reasons, not political ones, because their economies collapsed.

Once arriving at the U.S. border, all migrants claim political asylum, the reason being that the U.S. does not give economic asylum, which would rob Americans of economic opportunities in their own country. Sadly, by opening the border and allowing in so many illegal aliens, our government is robbing Americans of economic opportunities.

According to Dr. Weinstein, the San Vicente Camp is entirely Chinese. They were not willing to talk, no journalists were present, and no photographs were allowed by the Senafront of Panama. The Chinese arrivals, mostly males, with no children, did not have to cross the deadly jungle.

“The Chinese bypass the Darien Gap; they have money and can go by boat.” It is also strange to see the Chinese housed separately, it is “quite conspicuous.”

China and the U.N. appear to be “fueling the invasion of America.”

“Rep. James Moylan of Guam warned that the territory is ‘infiltrated’ by illegal Chinese migrants and is seeking aid from the Biden administration to protect the island.” https://foxnews.com/politics/us-delegate-warns-guam-sees-influx-illegal-chinese-migrants-says-island-show-strength-nation

All legal immigrants in this country who have fled tyrannical regimes have sympathy for illegal aliens who are fleeing tyrannical communist regimes, however, Dr. Weinstein described the unsettling hostility he felt coming from the Chinese in the San Vicente Camp.

Stringent controls are in place for legal immigrants and Americans crossing the border, but there is a “stunning” lack of control for those crossing the border illegally. Only their name and birthdate are being recorded, without any documentary proof.

There is no way the Chinese nationals have left their country without the knowledge of the CCP and their border controllers. Maps were distributed and cartoons supplied to the Chinese, showing them the route to the U.S.

Pay for play is alive and well and it is not in our best interest. The flood of illegals is obviously not a migration of people asking for political asylum. It is an economic migration for some and an invasion for others, carefully planned and paid for by those who are intent on occupying and destroying the United States and then expanding their influence across the two continents.

There is a substantial steel and concrete bridge to nowhere being built in Panama and nobody seems to know why, including the Panamanians. The Chinese Belt and Road Initiative of 2013 is no longer just for Africa and Asia, it is for the Americas as well as seen in this massive invasion facilitated by those who are accepting the pay.
