Virginia, Fairfax County, Education, and Trailers

Virginia is an interesting educational and political study in how to destroy a formerly well-off state with tolerance and multi-culturalism dictated by politicians from Richmond and Washington, D.C. It is a microcosm of the civilization suicide that is taking place in Europe.

Virginia is not very far behind the Seattle School District that sent a letter recently to teachers asking them to bless Muslim students in Arabic during Ramadan. Virginia obsesses over accommodating those who will not give an inch in their quest to be a specially protected class.

According to the Guardian, “more than 22,000 students in Fairfax county [the third richest county in America] receive their education in cheaply constructed plywood trailers, often with visible signs of green mold, like those parked next to the baseball fields next to McClean High School.”

McClean is a rich area in NOVA where the average homes cost over a million dollars. The property tax base to help fund public schools is thus very large.

Quoting school board member Ryan McElveen, the Guardian wrote, “Our staff often likes to say that Fairfax Public schools is the largest trailer dealer on the east coast. We own 820 trailers, more than any other entity on the entire east coast.”

Gov. Ralph Northam proposed to increase the education budget by approximately $270 million. Teachers objected to Northam’s proposed $750 million expenditure to lure Amazon to build its second HQ in Virginia, while classrooms were overcrowded, necessitating the use of trailers.

Why is there such an overcrowding in northern Virginia’s schools?  It is certainly not because Americans are having more babies, far from it, it is because illegal aliens have so many anchor babies that we are educating for free.

Educators are the first to push the liberal agenda of flooding the country with illegals whose children must be educated in their own native language, often dialects that require financial investing in specialized translators, teachers, textbooks, classes, and special tutoring, at the expense of American children who must learn in trailers and make do with less.

These new illegal arrivals must be also be fed at taxpayers’ expense and illegal families must be sheltered in welfare housing and provided with everything they may need to survive, including free and expensive healthcare.

Some teachers believe that giving tax breaks to Amazon is wrong when they could teach so many more illegal aliens’ children instead and house their families at the expense of the Virginian taxpayers.

Local and very vocal liberals in Fairfax county, who push for more school funding, argue that “building new schools could actually create more jobs than bringing in Amazon.” More schools mean more teachers and a lower teacher-to-student ratio argues Lee Carter, a Democrat Socialist state delegate from Manassas.

Northern Virginia (NOVA) with its progressive and corrupt political atmosphere is the reason why the entire state of Virginia is turning socialist. Republicans barely control the House of Delegates by only one delegate and the Senate by two Senators.

The NOVA population is composed mostly of federal government workers from Washington, D.C. and an ever-growing and very large contingent of illegal and legal aliens who vote Democrat as a block because they want to turn Virginia into the socialist paradise they’ve fled from.

Fairfax County Public School has adopted highly controversial curricula on sex education, sidestepping the important role of parents to teach their own children about human sexuality.  FCPS agenda was transgenderism and co-ed bathrooms.

The state education budget and local property taxes fund the public schools but is the money being used judiciously?

FCPS, with its budget of $3 billion annually, focuses more on globalism, with graduates who have “…attributes of Communicator, Collaborator, Ethical and Global Citizen, Creative and Critical Thinker, and Goal-Directed and Resilient Individual.”

Next year’s proposed budget increase of $117 million will “provide excellence and equity, hiring more staff to teach 1,000 fewer students.” According to Arthur Purves, “FCPS has a Chief Equity Officer but not much equity.” https://thebullelephant.com/Fairfax-county-public-schools-excellence-for-a-few/

Illegal Immigration and Western Civilization Demise

Michael Savage, the conservative talk show host, was banned from the U.K. for alleged hate speech which offended Islam.  Few advocated on his behalf to protect his freedom of expression and now, one by one, conservative voices of dissent and opposition to illegal immigration are being silenced.

It is interesting to note that, the more is penned on the subject, the more skepticism prevails, the messenger becoming a Cassandra. The Greek mythological Cassandra was cursed to voice prophecies that were true, but her prophecies were not believed.

A few authors dare to describe the reality and statistics of a shocking coma of western civilization caused by massive immigration from the third world and orchestrated by globalist politicians. Warnings are ignored, derided, or condemned by those in power as hate speech or shrugged off as the latest conspiracy theory of edgy writers.

Books and many articles have been written about Europe’s demographic suicide and its eventual demise. The most recent and quite compelling is Douglas Murray’s “The Strange Death of Europe.”

Douglas Murray explained that Europe has been afflicted by a fatal disease that is impossible to cure. Despite the passage of time and normal changes, cultural succession, traditions, customs, values, and behaviors gave us the ability to recognize European peoples as Greek, English, Spanish, French, etc. In the face of massive and unrelenting immigration, the host populations are harder to recognize as they have bent to the values of the invaders.

“As a result, by the end of the lifespans of most people currently alive Europe will not be Europe and the peoples of Europe will have lost the only place in the world we had to call home,” said Murray.

All these warnings have fallen on deaf ears. The politicians and corporatist billionaires have decided that our civilization is passé and must be replaced by fresh illiterate blood from the third world – easily duped and manipulated.

U.N., with help from its affiliated NGOs (non-governmental organizations) aims to dictate population control and birth, diversity, border erasure, education, immigration, business, transportation, commerce, energy consumption, private property, housing, food production, water use, and healthcare. For decades, they have chipped at our lives bit by bit, making incremental progress at local, state, and federal levels via their 1992 U.N. Agenda 21 now morphed into Agenda 2030.  Rep. Ocasio-Cortes’ New Green Deal is not new, it is not green, and it is not a deal. It is the derivative U.N. Agenda 2030 on steroids.

Their plan is that each country is meant to become a “home for the entire world,” no borders, endless welfare, all controlled by the United Nations and the billionaire elites who hold the purse strings of each former government.

American people seem to have lost faith in their own beliefs, traditions, and argue against their historical legitimacy to exist, an “existential tiredness,” or as my wise grandmother used to say, being tired of the good life and having democracy gone to their heads.

Teachers have been busy for decades telling generations of captivated students that their culture, history, and heroes are bad, not worth preserving, white people should feel guilty for their existence, and that they should turn over their culture to the noble and much-admired primitive nations. A new culture must be allowed to replace the old, tired civilization. In other words, let’s reinvent the wheel because it is their turn to do so.

Prior to 2000, few people have heard or used terms such as “alarmist,” “scaremongering,” “racist,” “Islamophobe,” “hater,” and “xenophobe” connected to immigration.  Legal immigrants and citizens who obey the law are called “xenophobes” when they object to illegal immigration and the flooding of the country with inimical individuals of military age.

Public concerns be damned, American corrupt politicians continue to stay in power by advocating for open borders and unchecked immigration, while complaining about the “broken” immigration laws ad nauseam. Such laws are not broken, they are not being enforced by orders of the very government charged with the protection of its citizens.

The same politicians object to voting I.D. laws because they want illegal aliens in their precincts to vote and to be counted as Americans with well-defined rights. Californians have even installed illegal aliens into public office.

There are Christians who live under oppressive conditions in Islamist African countries, yet they are often denied immigration access to the West.

We’ve heard many justifications as to why we are importing so many immigrants who refuse to assimilate and change the face and future of many countries:

1.       We have an ageing population – demographics tell us that Western women don’t have enough babies to replace the dying population. The replacement value is truly below what is necessary.

2.       Diversity is important and we are not diverse enough. When is diversity enough? Nobody knows as it is an arbitrary statement invented by the leftist monolith. There are over 200 nationalities in the D.C. area alone. How much more diverse must we be? We already have voting ballots and school curricula in some states in dozens of languages.

3.       Immigration cannot be stopped because of globalization – another concept invented and heavily pushed by the left.

4.       This is not who we are as a country, we are told, trying to excuse the illegal immigration. We are a country of legal immigrants. Many of us claim ancestors who have immigrated to the New World. The difference is that we all assimilated, learned English, and became part of the fabric of America, striving to make it better. We did not complain, demand welfare, special status, or Sharia Law. We swore an oath to the U.S. Constitution and to the maintenance of the Constitutional Republic.  We are not a Democracy and we do not condone mob rule.

5.       The downtrodden are flooding the West for a better life and who are we to stop them? We must spread personal hard-earned wealth with the rest of the world even when they don’t want to work, are staying home, making babies, and plotting to destroy the west. Economically speaking, truly poor people cannot afford to pay the human smugglers in order to bring them illegally to Europe or to the U.S.

6.       Illegals come because, no matter how poor they would be in this country, they would be far richer than in their own countries. It is easy to sneak in, easy to remain permanently and overtly, and safe to stay.

7.       It is very easy to deceive the authorities – illegals bring no papers, they are “undocumented,” they lie about their age, where they came from, and, if they learn that being from a certain country gives them priority at the front of the line, they lie about it as well although they do not speak that country’s language.

8.       The borderless world agenda is heavily promoted by non-governmental organizations (NGOs), flush with funds, sending their useful idiots around to the world to advocate for all migration into the western world. Certain NGOs assist migrants before they make it to Europe or the United States.

9.       Multiculturalism – a failed idea, recognized by some European leaders, but still heavily pushed by the progressive left. Most immigrants fail to integrate into the new society, they want to tear it apart and mold it in the vision of the hellhole they’ve escaped from. They accomplish this by running for office and winning political positions, changing education to indoctrination, changing the host culture to suit their goals, demanding special rights and privileges, and establishing enclaves, countries within countries, where no westerners dare to visit.

10.   Destroying free speech in the host country by labeling it “hate speech” and passing laws to enact fines and jail time for those bold enough to speak freely.

11.   Europeans still believe that a core culture can be maintained in every country even though progressivism has pushed for a multi-racial, multicultural society. 

To illustrate that a core culture cannot be maintained, Murray describes the suburb of Saint-Denis on the northern side of Paris, the central location of French history and culture. The Basilica of Saint-Denis contains 3^rd century relics of the Bishop of Paris. The cemetery holds the remains of the French royal family – the Capetian dynasty, the Bourbons, the Medicis, and the Merovingians. Tombs were desecrated during the French Revolution but strangely, the King and Queen deposed by the Revolution are buried here, Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette.

“To wander the district of Saint-Denis today is to see a district more resembling North Africa than France. The market square outside the basilica is a souk more than a market. Stalls sell different types of hijab and radical groups hand out literature against the state. Inside, though all the clergy are elderly white men, the residual congregation is black African, part of the non-Muslim wave of immigration into the area from Martinique and Guadeloupe. This area has one of the highest Muslim populations in France. Around 30 percent of the population of Saint-Denis, also known as the 93^rd district, are Muslim. No more than 15 percent are Catholic.” (Douglas Murray, The Strange Death of Europe, 2018, pp. 109-110)

12.   They are here, there is nothing we can do about it, and we must give them amnesty, thus encouraging not just family chain migration but also a non-stop future invasion.

13.   “The tyranny of guilt,” coined by Murray, refers to certain victims of immigration such as a child dying of illness in custody of the border patrol or the Turkish child whose body washed up on the European shores. The feeling of guilt and shame at such tragedies have turned the progressive borderless agenda against those who wisely and peacefully advocated against illegal immigration. Somehow, they were guilty of the death of these children.

The general sense around the world has been that we must learn to live with the flood of illegals, they are here to stay, they will never repatriate, and we must adjust to the violence and chaos they cause.

Mark Steyn commented about the heavy security public events in Europe must employ, a statement that supports in a way President Trump’s determination to build a southern border wall, “If free countries have to have unsightly security controls, why don’t they have them around the national borders rather than around every single thing inside those borders?” (Murray, p. 333)

And academia has filled the heads of their students with pipe dreams of Marxism and communism, where everyone’s problems will be solved by the benevolent government.  As T.S. Elliott said, “dreaming of systems so perfect that no one will need to be good” and nobody will have to ever work if they don’t want to. After all, we are told that illegals do the jobs that Americans refuse to do.

The Sea of Plastic of Almeria

Almeria in southern Spain, with its 55,000 greenhouses, occupying an area of 150,000 square miles, grows vegetables and feeds most of Europe. The entire area is visible from space, looking like a desert covered in rectangular patches of snow.
Called the sea of plastic of Almeria, the plastic roof covers reflect the sunlight back into space, causing the outside temperatures in the area to drop by ONE degree.
The global warming "consensus scientists" think of this as a possibility to save the planet from global warming Armageddon.
And such a scientific headache, like any other expensive idea the global warming alarmists have cooked up, should cost us trillions.

Interview Across Cyber Space with Mircea Brenciu Part IV Medicine and Islamic Invasion

On the question of medicine and medical care after decades of communism which ended officially with the Revolution of December 1989, Brenciu explained that Romania now produces doctors on a “conveyor belt.” He admits that a good doctor is not made by textbook theory learned in school, but is born after years of residency training, specializing, and real life experience in the ER of a hospital.

The tragedy starts, he said, when the young resident is thrown in the midst of the hospital drama and realizes that he himself has become a social case, a victim of starvation on his meager income. While a nurse in the European Union, which Romania is a member of, earns about 6,500 lei (1,500 euros) per month, a doctor in Romania earns 1,500 lei per month, approximately four times less.

Under socialism/communism, people walked around the medical professionals with money in envelopes.  Extra cash for expected bribes sped up test results, X-rays, helped jump waiting lines, and gave patients extra much-needed and speedier medical attention, prevented infections, and perhaps insured survivability. Doctors accepted the bribes because their pay was so low. Everyone earned equal pay and experienced the same miserable standard of living, regardless of years of training, effort, and education.

Overcoming the problems associated with decades of totalitarian socialism/communism has not been easy. Accepting bribes and corruption across the board are still the norm. Even though medical care is socialized and free, people still pay doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel in order to expedite their tests, care, and treatment. There are private clinics but fees are potentially higher than the bribes.

Under such low current pay and demoralizing conditions, it is no surprise that a chronic crisis of medical personnel overwhelms the recovery system and the establishment of well-organized and timely health care. And the government in Bucharest does not seem to make much difference since the “command buttons are in Brussels.” The Romanians’ plans for the future do not seem to coincide with the plans of the technocrats from Brussels, added Brenciu.

Dr. Arafat, a naturalized Romanian, organized what most considered an exceptional service that was highly necessary in the medical chaos – SMURD, an acronym for the Emergency Medical Services in Romania. This service is a model of organization, efficiency, and necessity.

On the question of the Muslim invasion of Europe, Brenciu admitted that the Old Continent is finding itself again in the unenvied position of battlefield for the clash of civilizations. “Angela Merkel was not afraid to receive in the beautiful, liberal, and multicultural Germany one million Islamists, of which at least 5% could be terrorists with proper papers.”

Brenciu added that the political scientist Samuel P. Huntington brought attention to this inevitable phenomenon for the European society. The clash of civilization is a post-Cold War era hypothesis that supports the idea that people’s cultural and religious identities will be a major source of conflict. Huntington proposed this idea in a 1992 lecture at the American Enterprise Institute. Huntington later expanded his thesis in a 1996 book The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order.

Setting aside the humanitarian aspect of this invasion and petitions for political and economic asylum, Brenciu believes that “accepting to be invaded in good conscience by cohorts of people with foreign traditions, culture, schooling, and especially religion, by hundreds of thousands of individuals terrorized by war, poverty, and the devastating and merciless Islamism, seems to be a form of madness bordering on treason.”

In his opinion, Angela Merkel, with her exaggerated and programmed tolerance for the refugees of Islam, will compromise the European Union, which will fold in the face of huge pressure of the member states, forced to accept unwillingly thousands and thousands of hungry, lawless, and savage refugees. Additionally, Germany will be gripped by national despair.

What will Merkel do to “attenuate the fantastic pressure of this human ballast which materialized suddenly and without logic?” She will probably “force the small states of Central and Eastern Europe, EU members, to receive a large portion of these unfortunate “impoverished” who paid heavy fees [where did they get so much money, he wonders] to cross many borders and thousands of kilometers to come to the Promised Land, Germany.”

Romania was asked initially to accept two thousand immigrants but President Johannis negotiated later to accept forty-five hundred. Following the visit of the “technocrat premier Ciolos in Germany in January 2016, we must now think of a number of refugees much, much larger, a number that will likely be either secret or falsified publicly.”

What shocks Brenciu is that, despite the sacrifices Romanians have made across the centuries to preserve the “Christian spirit, they are now infected quietly by Islam in unknown proportions by the very European institutions which should have defended Christianity and the doctrine of a free and democratic Europe.”

Brenciu did not speak in a discriminatory vein; he referred to the Islamic world that must respect its geographic boundaries and the boundaries, cultures, lands, human rights, and religions of other peoples.

"Combating Hate in Europe" Forum

Despite the snowy conditions in Washington, D.C., the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum held a program on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, January 27, 2016 on the topic of “Combating Hate in Europe.” http://www.ushmm.org/online/watch/index.html

In advertising the forum, the museum explained the importance of such a program.
“Around the world, antisemitism, religious persecution, and violent extremism are on the rise, and each threatens the stability and freedoms that democratic leaders are working to preserve.”

The Museum’s intent was to examine how the lessons of the Holocaust could help “combat extremism and also stand up to antisemitism and violence against religious minorities.”

Ambassadors were to address what can be done to confront these challenges today, “what their governments are doing and still need to do to educate young people, counter hate speech, and create economic opportunity while also maintaining secure borders and offering safe harbor to refugees.”

Speakers included Gérard Araud, Ambassador of France to the United States, David O'Sullivan, Ambassador of the European Union to the United States, and Peter Wittig, Ambassador of Germany to the United States. Fred Hiatt, editorial page editor at the Washington Post was the moderator.

Dr. Alfred Munzer

The special unannounced guest and speaker was a Holocaust survivor, Dr. Alfred Münzer.

In her opening remarks, the museum representative described the day as a “day for education and reflection,” keeping in mind the social unrest in Europe, the fear on the ground, the resentment, xenophobia, hate speech, vicious, sexual attacks, and the treacherous slide into the worst extremism, the rise of terror groups and of government leaders who engage in hate speech. She described the rise of radical groups in Poland, “which are bolder and stronger than ever,” and the “anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim, anti-Jewish, anti-NATO, anti-Europe feelings, “the unbridled threats and actions against minorities; the anti-s have taken over the global discourse.”

Fred Hiatt remarked that America spoke with “moral arrogance” about Europe but “nobody is in a position to lecture anybody else when we are talking about these topics.” He mentioned how dismayed many were at the level of intolerance in parts of our presidential debates, “the ease with which other human beings were dehumanized.”

Peter Wettig explained that his country, Germany, has a moral responsibility to never forget the Holocaust, and that shapes its foreign policy, especially towards Israel. Anti-Semitism is not tolerated – “my country has strict laws on incitement, on hate speech, and on Holocaust denial which are punishable under the law, under the full force of the law.”

Those who decide what constitutes hate speech are lawyers and judges, an obviously subjective decision. One of the panelists explained that, in order to be hate speech, it must “incite” violence. I thought violence in general is caused by hate, an “intense and passionate dislike” of something or someone, by revenge, or insanity.

What is then “hate speech” as determined by progressive scholars. There is a legal and a dictionary definition.

“In law, hate speech is any speech, gesture or conduct, writing, or display which is forbidden because it may incite violence or prejudicial action against or by a protected individual or group, or because it disparages or intimidates a protected individual or group.”

In the dictionary, it is “speech that attacks, threatens, or insults a person or group on the basis of national origin, ethnicity, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.”

By this definition, most Democrats should be fined for “hate speech” and inciting riots and violence. But we do have freedom of speech, particularly unpleasant and offensive speech.

The audience expected the forum to address “the growing concern of most of Europe and many here in this country of the virulent spread of hatred meted out by the growing Muslim population in their host countries.” Instead, “the general position taken was that the rest of us aren’t tolerant enough of their customs and religious ideas.”

According to Chriss Rainey, “the discussion was presented in a panel of like-minded socialists who represented their socialist governments. I don’t think anyone has the answers yet for the Muslim infiltration of Europe and the western world, but to think we can do nothing but increase tolerance is irrational.”

Rainey continued, “Did it ever occur to anyone that the repeated mention of Republican candidates running for office, Trump in particular, was offensive and bordering on hate speech? Or is it only acceptable to speak your mind and express your sincere beliefs if you are Democrat or a socialist?”

The German ambassador Wittig expressed his country’s position of respect for Jewish groups, for Israel’s right to exist, and his country’s stance of intolerance towards any form of anti-Semitism. He almost foolishly insisted that anti-Semitism, “if it existed, was a German problem and not a threat from the million Muslims they have invited and allowed into the country.”

An interesting word used by several people on the panel raised my radar, “stakeholders,” a word that points to the one world governance socialist-speak coming from the United Nations.

Ambassador Gerard Araud focused his remarks on the French secularist society which “has just opened its doors to a very religious body of immigrants who do not share a common morality with host countries.” Reeducating and training the immigrants to the French way of life was presented in such a positive light as if it was remotely possible. Never mind the two massacres in Paris in 2015; that must have been just an exception to the peacefulness and good intent of the new comers to build a progressive life in France.

Chriss Rainey believes that “Araud’s remarks reflect an attitude that they don’t like religion because it puts barriers on human progress. They have ideas of right and wrong and anyone will be trained in the proper conduct of a citizen. The French expect to do this not through any religious body, which has been the source of morality for centuries, but from within state run schools that are set up to mold the next generation, outside the loving eye of home and family. But then, how could it be otherwise since they have basically destroyed the family already and the only thing left to train children—what few of them there are, is the state.”

Ambassador David O’Sullivan, representing EU, a house of cards threatened by the possible exit of Greece and U.K., explained his organization’s interest in controlling the 28 member-states to make sure they stay in line and preserve the EU. To succeed, EU bureaucrats must make sure any nationalist idea is rejected as dangerous, racist, hateful, xenophobic, backwards, and simple-minded. Anyone who opposes global government control is uneducated.

O’Sullivan expressed his disdain for Donald Trump, a presidential candidate who loves his country and speaks openly about protecting Americans’ rights to preserve their way of life. Ambassador O’Sullivan added that he had faith in the American voters to do the right thing, meaning, to vote for some other candidate who shares his progressive, globalist control views.

During the panel discussion and Q&A, the bashing of Donald Trump was almost a lait-motif. Trump voters were derided as “nativists,” “lower class” and “uneducated” for considering a vote for such a persona-non-grata whom the Labor Party in the U.K. contemplated banning. The two remaining ambassadors expressed their faith in the American voters that they would do the right thing and vote as the elites and the media desire.

As Chriss Rainey so aptly put it, “Could it be that the remarks about our conservative candidates that we heard mentioned again and again, are merely a reflection of their own fear of a growing conservative movement in Europe?”

After the conclusion of the panel discussion and Q & A, a Dutch survivor of the Holocaust, Dr. Alfred Münzer, made brief remarks about how he survived “the fury of anti-Semitism that had engulfed Europe,” having been hidden and protected “by a Dutch family and their Muslim housekeeper.” But his older sisters, 6 and 8 years old, did not survive. They were turned in to the authorities and taken to Auschwitz. “The father of a Catholic family whose wife had taken them in did not like Jewish children.” Sadly, he explained, the murder of six million Jews did not end the anti-Semitism that is very much alive today.

I was surprised that not once the real culprits of anti-Semitism and perpetrators of heinous crimes today were not mentioned. Yet every panelist and the moderator repeated ad nauseam the idea that somehow, conservatives and nationalists in Europe and around the globe who disagree with progressive goals and ideals are “far right loons” who deserve derision, contempt, and legal punishment of hate crimes.  

Freedom of speech must fall under progressive censorship law; eager judges should eliminate the right to speak and think which is divergent from the ruling elites. Working hand in glove with social media, especially Facebook, these European bureaucrats and Democrats want to nip in the bud any resistance against their speech dictates.

Unlike Europe, which is a basket case of linguistic Tower of Babel, of broke socialist states thanks to their open borders, multi-culturalism and diversity at all costs, most Americans like their borders, their sovereignty, and their culture, and would like to keep it this way.

Americans do not want to lose their national identity to hostile, invading cultures that do not wish to assimilate but desire to change the demographics of the host country, its history, and replace the local customs and religions with Islam. It seems that the ruling progressives and invading Islamists, who rape and pillage across Europe, make strange bed fellows. The media and the socialist authorities are on high alert to hide the chaos.

The panelists spent more time protecting minorities that actually engage in hate speech, incitement, and murder, while condemning the “hate speech” coming from the “far right” fringe and those so intolerant and disagreeable with the progressive open border, destroy western civilization agenda.

No mention was made of all the violence, chaos, and rapes committed by the military age Muslim refugees harbored in ever-increasing numbers and welcomed with open arms by EU leaders determined to change the arrogant and intolerant face and demographics of our western civilization.

Unfortunately, thanks to progressive tyrants, career politicians in Washington who only represent the interests of their capitalist cronies, billionaires, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) lobbying around the world with coffers full of grant money, the fix is in for European style global socialism.

National Biometric ID Cards in Africa

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is expressing today its support for the  meeting in Niamey, Niger, January 25-26, 2016, of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission Heads of Immigration on “irregular immigration and roll-out of the National Biometric ID Cards.” http://www.iom.int/news/iom-supports-ecowas-meeting-national-biometric-id-cards-task-force-irregular-migration-0

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) project called “Support to Free Movement of Persons and Migration in West Africa (FMM) is funded by the European Union (EU).

According to the IOM news release, the meeting focused on “high mobility from and within West Africa, where intra-regional and irregular migration feature prominently in the political agenda of most West African governments.”  South-South migration and irregular migration flows to Europe are recognized as a twofold challenge in Africa and the Middle East.

Because ECOWAS believes that intra-regional migration is essential in the African region’s economic growth and stability, the need for the “rapid development of a national biometric identity card” has been recognized. Such a biometric ID card would replace the travel certificate used in the ECOWAS member states.

Of the million migrants that crossed the Mediterranean into Europe in 2015, many of whom were from West Africa, approximately 3,700 died en route. To protect migrants and combat human smuggling, the ECOWAS Free Movement Directorate is going to establish a Task Force on “irregular migration.”

According to IOM, Irregular migration is the “Movement that takes place outside the regulatory norms of the sending, transit and receiving countries. There is no clear or universally accepted definition of irregular migration. From the perspective of destination countries it is entry, stay or work in a country without the necessary authorization or documents required under immigration regulations. From the perspective of the sending country, the irregularity is for example seen in cases in which a person crosses an international boundary without a valid passport or travel document or does not fulfil the administrative requirements for leaving the country. There is, however, a tendency to restrict the use of the term "illegal migration" to cases of smuggling of migrants and trafficking in persons.” https://www.iom.int/key-migration-terms

In layman’s terms and law-abiding citizens’ logical understanding, citizens who respect borders and sovereignty, “irregular migration” is illegal immigration dressed up in United Nation’s progressive euphemism and bureaucratic-speak.

The Task Force will “combat irregular migration, fight trafficking and smuggling, and protect vulnerable migrants in the region.” People who abhor 21^st century slavery still practiced by a certain religion would like to know if the Task Force considers fighting the human slave trade and sex trade that ISIS is involved in.

The participants in the meeting in Niger are ECOWAS member states heads of immigration, ECOWAS Commission, Spanish and French government representatives, FMM staff, IOM staff, and the European Union Delegation in Niger.

A two-day visit to Agadez is also planned. Agadez is a “primary transit point for irregular migrants crossing from West Africa to Europe.” This begs the question, if all these organizations and the authorities know exactly where the primary transit point for illegal immigration and human smuggling is, why don’t they take measures to stop it?

The reason is probably the fact that the FMM West Africa project, an EU-funded effort implemented by the Consortium of Partners, “seeks to maximize the development potential of free movement of persons and migration in West Africa.” http://www.iom.int/

In layman’s terms, the ultimate goal is to erase borders and establish global citizens. To facilitate the free movement of persons across national boundaries, a U.N.-deemed “right,” a biometric ID card will speed up the process of controlling massive movements of people.

 

 

 

 

Refugees or Convenient Economic and Demographic Exodus?

The sudden and unexpected wave of economic refugees from Syria and Iraq appears to have similarities to the wave of young economic refugees fleeing Central America who started flooding our borders last year with several governments, including our own, as enablers and financers of forced settlement.

When this administration, bent on changing the face and demographics of America, granted amnesty under Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) to 2-3 million illegals, news spread through Central America which resulted in a massive influx of unaccompanied minors and adult young men. These minors and adults brought in diseases like the enterovirus 68 found in Central America, a polio-like respiratory illness that has caused deaths among U.S. school children. Lice and tuberculosis were found among adults and children.

The wave was organized then, busing and flying mostly young men, not children, into various locations around the country where Catholic, Lutheran, and Baptist organizations were paid millions of dollars in grants to facilitate and force small communities to take in these “children,” enrolling those who were children in school even though they spoke no English nor Spanish, only an indigenous dialect that nobody seemed to understand. Same church groups taught adults how to apply for welfare benefits for themselves and for the minor children immediately.

The “refugees” from the Middle East appear healthy, well dressed, well organized, calm, and carrying one average size backpack like tourists on a weekend jaunt. We know this from various MSM videos and photographs.

This mass migration of Muslims around the world has a purpose, as an ISIS operative revealed in February that the Islamic State takes advantage of the “refugee crisis” to “form a fifth column of Muslim fighters inside western nations” in which they claim 4,000 ISIS terrorists are already in place, having been smuggled among the presumed refugees.  Robert Spencer wrote on September 4 in Front Page Magazine that “This is no longer just a ‘refugee crisis.’ This is a hijrah.”

“Hijrah is the Islamic doctrine of migration, a form of stealth jihad.” Paraphrasing the Quran (4:100), Spencer wrote that “To emigrate in the cause of Allah – that is to move to a new land in order to bring Islam there, is considered in Islam to be a highly meritorious act.” ISIS wants to have a Caliphate in the entire world.

These refugees are going to Sweden and Germany for asylum via Hungary and Romania. The Hungarian Prime Minister, Victor Orban, highly criticized by all liberals in the West, chose to block the Muslim migrants in order to maintain Hungary’s Christian heritage. Clare Lopez, Middle East analyst for the Center for Security Policy, said that more leaders should be as “astute” as Orban who wants to preserve national sovereignty currently “under concerted attack by the forces of the global jihad movement.” Both Putin of Russia and Erdogan of Turkey blame the West “for creating the refugee crisis in the first place through it fomenting of civil war against Syrian leader Bashir al-Assad.”

Presalibera.net published numerous photographs and a video, reporting that on September 1, 2015, a Romanian tourist returning from a short vacation, boarded a ferry boat, Nissos Rodos, on the Greek island of Limnos, in the port of Myrna, with the final destination in Kavala, continental Greece. Hundreds of Arabic-speaking people were on board, two-thirds males between 20-30 and the rest women of similar age with small children. These passengers had boarded in Chios, Samos, and Mytilini (Lesvos) and the ferry staff referred to them as “refugees.”

Refugees are usually haggard, sad, frightened, hungry, poorly, and dirtily dressed, carrying luggage according to their physical abilities. But these refugees were different, reported the accidental tourist; they were happy, relaxed, well dressed, clean, well fed, joking and laughing in groups. When they noticed they were being photographed, he reported, some hid their faces, others looked at him directly and smiled, giving him the two-finger sign for victory. There was no tension as if they knew exactly what would follow, “they had the assurance of an immediate future without surprises.”

“Without exception, they were well dressed, some had designer clothes on, with new and expensive shoes, some elegant designer shoes, and some women even wore low heels.” On board, during the 3 ½ hour journey, the curious passengers were segregated in groups, some sitting inside in comfortable chairs and others outside directly on the deck or in deck chairs.

Alexandru Matei described their luggage as not reflecting their condition of “refugees.” All carried an average backpack  with no reserves of food, water, or any other necessities for an unexpected long voyage or passage as if someone else was going to take care of them. They were carrying, Matei said, as much as he would take with him on an outing with his kids in the park, not for a 3,500 km journey from Syria and Iraq to Germany.

Only two of the “refugees” admitted to speaking English and allowed themselves to be interviewed by Alexandru Matei.  They were Palestinian, Iraqi, and Syrian Muslims headed to Germany which agreed to take them in as immigrants. From Syria and Iraq they crossed into Turkey were they were taken by buses with concealed windows to the shore were boats took them in groups of 50 and crossed the sea into Greece in four hours. They were then taken by ship to Kavala, then by bus to Salonic, then to Skopje, and then to Germany.

Matei asked them how they got into Turkey. If he tried to cross the Turkish border without a visa, he would have been arrested, he said. These “refugees” had entry papers as tourists. How did they get into Greece, he asked them. We entered by boat without a visa or permit. With the statue of “refugees” they could enter any other country along the way.

Who organized so many people, asked Matei. Are there human smugglers with you? No, they said. Matei wondered how so many people, on their own volition, could get together in such large numbers, so thinly dressed, without food and water, and assemble to trek together in the same direction, 3,500 km without any prior organization.

Why flee now? The initial waves of refugees left long time ago, armed conflicts have been taking place in Syria for 4 years, 24 years in Iraq, and 70 years in Gaza, it is not something new that took you by surprise. Matei continued, when he fled communism 30 years ago, refugees left individually or in families not in such large groups.  

We have no future, everything is destroyed, lamented a 27-year old Iraqi engineer who was unable to find a job for five years. “We lost 4 million Iraqis in the first years of war,” he said. “We have no homes, no water, no electricity, no jobs, politicians are corrupt, 5 percent of people are intelligent, 95 percent are idiots who shoot each other all day. “ Who caused all of this, asked Matei. “Some politicians who want to enrich themselves and the American dictatorship,” the Iraqi engineer answered.

Getting off the boat, the “refugees” were orderly, relaxed, calm, and grouped themselves while a leader was talking to them. They walked to the bus station in Kavala where, after getting tickets, they boarded buses that seemed to expect them. Only 6-8 policemen on bikes were on hand to supervise this peaceful and highly organized transfer.

Alexandru Matei had one question he wanted to ask of the young women with children, “How do you move as a mother with your child in a stroller and just one backpack, across seas and across countries, on your way to a foreign country 3,500 km away, without even a bottle of water with you?”

This accidental tourist captured the essence of Angela Merkel and Francois Hollande’s failed liberal policies and the alleged understanding they have with Greece and Tukey to allow these economic immigrants to move freely into Europe instead of fighting the problem of such illegal immigration onslaught. “The European authorities are inefficient and incompetent on purpose. We are in a full-blown crisis but the European authorities are not meeting until September 14.”

Nobody wants to stop the daily invasion of thousands of illegals into Europe. Historian Neagu Djuvara Discusses the "Muslim Refugee" Problem

Neagu Djuvara, writer, historian, philosopher, journalist, and diplomat, was interviewed on his 99^th birthday by Radu Turcescu from Evenimentul Zilei. Djuvara confessed, the years passed by so quickly, it now seems that someone else lived his youth; he recounted when he was in World War II, how he was wounded, how he lived abroad so many decades, twenty years in Africa, and how it all flew by in a flash.

No matter where he was, he disclosed, he always loved his country and his people. His Romanian Bible and a volume of Eminescu’s poems kept his soul alive and his language unspoiled. After 45 years of absence from his beloved country, Djuvara was proud of his mother tongue, unspoiled by foreign inflections. So many leave Romania and come back with an English accent, he lamented.

When asked about the world today and about his views, Djuvara answered by describing how “All civilizations run through a similar cycle, a beginning, a period of maximum flourish, and an end. After the death of the Roman Empire, there were a lengthy Middle Ages and an Italian Renaissance of beauty and intelligence.”

Comparing the United States to the Roman Empire, Djuvara sees it as an “element of equilibrium,” a military and intellectual power. He imagines the next 200-300 years as free of revolution; future generations should be unafraid because this “supremacy, this American hegemony in the world is an assurance of peace.”  Perhaps Neagu Djuvara feels safe, reassured, and wildly optimistic because there is a small American military base now on Romanian soil.

Turcescu asked him if he really feels this way even though there is a brewing conflict with Russia. Djuvara responded that Romanians are afraid of Russia because they have inherited this fear. But Putin and Russia are weak, he said, because “Russians, of all Europeans, have the weakest birth rate; in 50 to 100 years, in the giant Mother Russia, only one tenth of the population will be Russian, the rest will be Tatars, Kirgiz, and pagan tribes, including the Chinese and the Japanese in the far east.  “As a European nation, the Russians are in a dramatic fall, and I am certain that Putin has no idea, he continues to believe himself big and strong,” Djuvara explained.

On the question of the Muslim “refugees” in Europe, Djuvara sees the flood of immigrants as an “invasion that cannot be stemmed because it is composed of a population that has no historical, intellectual, or soul connections to us, it is an invasion of barbarians.” Wistful that he is not going to live that much longer, he is very pessimistic about everyone’s future in the next fifty years. “The young people will see an absolute drastic change in Europe, with waves of foreign nations coming.”

Turcescu suggested that perhaps the Americans could save them. Djuvara agreed that they could be the European salvation again, politically and militarily. But the sad reality is that the United States of America could not save itself right now. The current American administration has shrunk the military to such worrisome levels but the conflicts around the world have escalated under the inept American foreign policy.

When asked about surviving the Maghreb invasion of Paris, Djuvara explained that, on a recent return trip to France, “he was horrified that the Parisian sidewalks no longer belonged to the French, but to the third world.”

“Can this Muslim invasion be stopped,” asked Turcescu.  “Nothing can be stopped in history without God’s will. For us to stop it, it is impossible, they crawl under barbed wire and still enter!” added the famous historian Djuvara.

On the sizzling debate that is splitting the country right now, the building of the largest European mosque in Bucharest, Djuvara revealed that he was against the project given the fact that the Romanian people fought the Ottoman Empire for 500 years to prevent the building of even one mosque on the territories of Wallachia and Moldova. “I think it is a tragedy that we are now opening the gates for the largest European mosque to be built here and to allow thousands of Muslims to come here, with their morals and crimes which some of them commit. The Romanian government and future administrations must categorically oppose the construction of this mega-mosque on Romanian soil! People like Victor Ponta [Social Democrat Prime Minister] would not oppose such a mosque; other men must come to power.”

“Why is the mosque dangerous,” insisted the young reporter. “The Muslims claim that it will be a place of pilgrimage, of prayer, a place where courses will be taught.”

Djuvara schooled Turcescu on the fact that “the main danger is their invasion, the sheer numbers that would overwhelm a small country, just like it happened with the Germanic invasion at the end of the Roman Empire.” …”The Muslim world stretches over hundreds of thousands of kilometers and this is the greatest danger for us, Europeans, and Indo-Europeans.”

The country is split between progressives and conservatives on the issue of accepting “refugees” from the Muslim world. Many opine that they find the development suspicious that suddenly, after years of conflict, Muslims have decided in groups of 500-1,000 to request asylum in the rich west nations with generous welfare systems, in the very western culture they despise and have nothing in common with, instead of going south or east to oil-rich Middle Eastern countries that share their culture.

Others wonder why these immigrants, who are incorrectly labeled “refugees,” are so accepted and welcomed with open arms by EU communist puppets and liberal hypocrites who label anyone who opposes the “refugees” as inhuman, racist, and xenophobe.

Yet others describe how Romania and the Eastern bloc countries like Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary, accused of xenophobia, struggle to integrate millions of gypsies; the western European world lectures them how to do it properly and humanely, while failing themselves miserably at integrating gypsies and Muslims when they became a nuisance in the West.

Those who live and work in the west understand that a few real refugees are not the problem but the Muslim theocratic culture and religion which are not compatible with the European Christian culture. They give examples of Pakistani Muslims who install themselves in violent enclaves and rape girls in groups.

Many citizens suggested that lefties should integrate the existing Muslims into the European culture first before attempting to bring in more religionists of peace. Cultural diversity has been a dismal failure in Europe as both Angela Merkel and Nikolas Sarkozy publicly admitted.

Some wished to know what lefty feminists would do and say once they find themselves forced to wear hijab, become subjects to Sharia Law, and are spat at in their own hometowns for wearing pants and a skirt. Such daring attire is considered by Islamists an invitation to rape.

Is it fair to require 18 million citizens to support these “refugees” who receive more in benefits than half of working Romanians must live on? Why must citizens survive on $300-400 a month pensions or salaries while these undeserving immigrants receive much more in benefits?

How quickly will the “refugee” invasion overtake the indigenous European populations that have 1.1 babies per family, insufficient for replacement value in any culture, while Muslims have more than eight babies per family?

Nanny State of Mind

It does not matter how many weeks of vacation (Europeans get five), often paid by the nanny state, leisure time and holidays are not enough for the socialist-minded, entitled liberals.  In these five weeks of vacation, employees have the choice to go to spas abroad, often in five star hotels, where pampering, massage, physical therapy, mud baths, sulphur baths, excellent food, and strolls in the most beautiful resorts of Europe are all subsidized by the generous employers “nudged” by socialist policies or by the government.

Years ago, one of my South American colleagues who hailed from a socialist state and spent high school years in France, had the temerity to ask Justice Scalia during the Q & A session of a speech on liberty, why does the Supreme Court not give Americans 2-3 years paid maternity leave and more holidays to spend time with their families? Americans work so hard and look at all the successful countries around the world that place so much emphasis on family and leisure time.

As I know quite well, Europeans place so much emphasis on family that they are committing demographic suicide by having less and less babies, in some countries way below the population replacement value, including countries with Catholic values. But then again, European churches are more or less museums, visited by foreign tourists and frequented by older people who fervently believe in God. The young and the socialists are generally atheist or agnostic. Many of them use churches for convenient traditions such baptism, marriage, and funerals.

I found my colleague’s comment amusing because I knew how broke the European socialist states were in spite of the large revenues from confiscatory income taxes; socialist technocrats had taxed their citizens to death in order to pay for welfare to their own and to the hordes of Muslim invaders who were placated because the customs of the countries they flooded into were offensive to them.

My colleague, a green card holder, had no understanding how a Constitutional republic functions, and did not understand that the Supreme Court is not supposed to legislate from the bench. Unfortunately they do, as was the case of the very expensive and unaffordable Affordable Care Act, deemed a “tax” by a Supreme Court Justice, when in reality it is medical insurance.

Academics work on the average about nine months out of the year and have generous paid leave and numerous holidays. The answer Justice Scalia gave was memorable, “Where is your work ethic? You don’t like to work, Madam? Stay at home with your family. But if you do, who is going to pay the bills?” The embarrassing silence was followed by a low murmur.

I had no idea then that a few years later, during the most transformational administration in U.S. history, fifty percent of Americans would become the “envied” Europeans, the egalitarian socialist welfare dependents seen in movies so fashionably dressed, so much smarter and refined than the loud Americans, never leaving cafes, smoking, discussing art and literature, and sipping on a bottomless glass of wine.

I never thought that Americans, with their strong work ethic, would become the happy beneficiaries of generational welfare and would perfect a way to game the system to their utmost advantage.  Even those out of a job, thanks to the disastrous Democrat economic policies, would receive generous two-year unemployment benefits while working off the books.

The lavish and lucrative cradle to grave nanny system worked well for Europeans for a long time in spite of the fact that their governments are broke. Employees are quite adept at receiving their pay under the table in cash. The underground economy that pays no tax is thriving.

Having lost its moral compass, the nanny state U.S.A. has become a society reeking of greed, envy, hate, corruption, lawlessness, and promiscuity. The takers and the entitled, legal and illegal, have outnumbered the givers.  

The takers, who repeatedly vote without an I.D. because they are too dumb to procure one but smart enough to produce an I.D. for welfare benefits and free healthcare, will guarantee that our society will become and remain a socialist nanny state.

While those accustomed to sloth are on permanent vacations, free to find themselves and play guitar, thanks to those who still get up and go to work every day, they have the audacity to complain and demonstrate vociferously against those “greedy rich” who do not pay their “fair share.” How did we get here, who bred such a nanny mentality? The answer appears simple – government, the main stream media, Hollywood, television, feminists, liberals, progressives, teachers, and professors.
