The Worst Are Leading Western Society on the Wrong Path

If you are wondering what happened to the American people and the West in general, on the road to committing societal suicide in short order, F. A. Hayek has a plausible answer in his book, The Road to Serfdom.

Hayek, an economist and philosopher, a pioneer in monetary theory and proponent of libertarianism, lists three reasons why the worst elements of society have formed such a strong group of sycophants with homogeneous views on the direction that the western, free market societies must take to become the communist utopia-that-never-was.

1.     "The higher the education and intelligence of individuals become, the more their views and tastes are differentiated and the less likely they are to agree on a particular hierarchy of values.”

However, the education system has made sure that the miseducated are more homogeneous in their indoctrinated views and beliefs via the generalized teaching method of what to think, not how to think.

2.      The ‘docile and gullible’ have no strong convictions of their own and are easily swayed to accept a “ready-made system of values” if “drummed into their ears sufficiently loudly and frequently.”

This is where the lying mainstream media comes into play, with their daily scripted and identical reports distributed to them by the socialist Democrat party.

3.      It is “almost a law of human nature” that people tend to agree more on the negative rather than the positive. Therefore, it is easier for people to agree on “the hatred of the enemy” or “on the envy of those better off.”  

The clever narrative becomes ‘we’ vs. ‘they’ and the fight crystalizes under the banner that ‘they’ are the enemy which must be destroyed.  The Soviet totalitarian leaders have vilified the ‘kulaks’ (Russian peasants as defined by Stalin’s regime) and the Germans vilified the ‘Jew.’ (F. The common enemy today labeled by bureaucrats and career politicians as dangerous are the ordinary Americans who love their country, their families, their Christian faith, and who reject the woke-ism of current young generations indoctrinated into believing that everything good about America, its economy, its history, its culture, its values, are evil.

These indoctrinated generations, whether in America or other western nations, believe that anything goes, socialism is great, being responsible humans and citizens is passe, free stuff is the way of life, jobs are for dummies, sex and gender are fluid, and biology is a construct to keep them oppressed.

To say that the worst and not the brightest among us are leading our country and western civilization in the wrong direction is an understatement, they are destroying it, and the damage is already at the point of no return.

Congress screamed insurrection when a few hundred Americans entered their hallowed grounds through the opened doors, taking selfies in the Chamber, but are turning a blind eye and deaf ears when five million illegal aliens have invaded our southern border and are now walking among us, all over the country, unvetted, unchecked, unvaccinated, possibly criminals, murderers, slavers, sex traffickers, and gang members. Can we get our country back after this massive invasion? Probably not.

Can we reverse fifty years of miseducation in public schools and in the high-priced colleges around the globe? Probably not without a lot of misery, sacrifice, and decades of determined efforts from millions of people.

How can all these young people today, with children of their own, help change the miseducation they received and that of their children when they have no memory nor role models to follow in order to cause a positive change to return our country to its former glory?

Worse yet, because of technology, human connections, social skills, and the ability to empathize have declined. Sherry Turkle of MIT wrote that “44 percent of teenagers never unplug from their devices” even when watching movies, eating, playing, or during meals with friends, in school, or with family.

Teenagers are so consumed by social media and influencing that they become unable to focus, to listen, to make eye contact, or read body language, an important non-verbal component of communication. It is easy to see that such humans are easy to sway in the wrong direction, a direction that often undermines their own interests.

As some psychologists remarked, once technology and social media were unleashed, humans have proven unable to be satisfied with being bored, relaxing, doing nothing, and enjoying it. They became irritable, stressed, scattered brained, unable to focus, tense, and anxious without constant stimulation from electronic devices.

Herbert Simon was right when wrote in the 1970s that too much information created a dearth of attention. I certainly saw plenty of that in the classroom from teenagers to adult students in college. People became, as Simon said, “overwhelmed and on overdrive, in a state of constant stress.” This state of constant stress caused “exhaustion, frustration, resignation, and even despair” in many people.

An important question must be asked, how capable are these narcissistic people, who are staring constantly into their smart devices and taking selfies, to lead society onto the right path of survival and excellence when they have little general knowledge and understanding of economics and history? Do they even care, in their drug-induced stupor, how many lives socialism and communism have destroyed in the 20^th century or that they are repeating history and expecting a different result?

 

 

Illegal Immigration and Western Civilization Demise

Michael Savage, the conservative talk show host, was banned from the U.K. for alleged hate speech which offended Islam.  Few advocated on his behalf to protect his freedom of expression and now, one by one, conservative voices of dissent and opposition to illegal immigration are being silenced.

It is interesting to note that, the more is penned on the subject, the more skepticism prevails, the messenger becoming a Cassandra. The Greek mythological Cassandra was cursed to voice prophecies that were true, but her prophecies were not believed.

A few authors dare to describe the reality and statistics of a shocking coma of western civilization caused by massive immigration from the third world and orchestrated by globalist politicians. Warnings are ignored, derided, or condemned by those in power as hate speech or shrugged off as the latest conspiracy theory of edgy writers.

Books and many articles have been written about Europe’s demographic suicide and its eventual demise. The most recent and quite compelling is Douglas Murray’s “The Strange Death of Europe.”

Douglas Murray explained that Europe has been afflicted by a fatal disease that is impossible to cure. Despite the passage of time and normal changes, cultural succession, traditions, customs, values, and behaviors gave us the ability to recognize European peoples as Greek, English, Spanish, French, etc. In the face of massive and unrelenting immigration, the host populations are harder to recognize as they have bent to the values of the invaders.

“As a result, by the end of the lifespans of most people currently alive Europe will not be Europe and the peoples of Europe will have lost the only place in the world we had to call home,” said Murray.

All these warnings have fallen on deaf ears. The politicians and corporatist billionaires have decided that our civilization is passé and must be replaced by fresh illiterate blood from the third world – easily duped and manipulated.

U.N., with help from its affiliated NGOs (non-governmental organizations) aims to dictate population control and birth, diversity, border erasure, education, immigration, business, transportation, commerce, energy consumption, private property, housing, food production, water use, and healthcare. For decades, they have chipped at our lives bit by bit, making incremental progress at local, state, and federal levels via their 1992 U.N. Agenda 21 now morphed into Agenda 2030.  Rep. Ocasio-Cortes’ New Green Deal is not new, it is not green, and it is not a deal. It is the derivative U.N. Agenda 2030 on steroids.

Their plan is that each country is meant to become a “home for the entire world,” no borders, endless welfare, all controlled by the United Nations and the billionaire elites who hold the purse strings of each former government.

American people seem to have lost faith in their own beliefs, traditions, and argue against their historical legitimacy to exist, an “existential tiredness,” or as my wise grandmother used to say, being tired of the good life and having democracy gone to their heads.

Teachers have been busy for decades telling generations of captivated students that their culture, history, and heroes are bad, not worth preserving, white people should feel guilty for their existence, and that they should turn over their culture to the noble and much-admired primitive nations. A new culture must be allowed to replace the old, tired civilization. In other words, let’s reinvent the wheel because it is their turn to do so.

Prior to 2000, few people have heard or used terms such as “alarmist,” “scaremongering,” “racist,” “Islamophobe,” “hater,” and “xenophobe” connected to immigration.  Legal immigrants and citizens who obey the law are called “xenophobes” when they object to illegal immigration and the flooding of the country with inimical individuals of military age.

Public concerns be damned, American corrupt politicians continue to stay in power by advocating for open borders and unchecked immigration, while complaining about the “broken” immigration laws ad nauseam. Such laws are not broken, they are not being enforced by orders of the very government charged with the protection of its citizens.

The same politicians object to voting I.D. laws because they want illegal aliens in their precincts to vote and to be counted as Americans with well-defined rights. Californians have even installed illegal aliens into public office.

There are Christians who live under oppressive conditions in Islamist African countries, yet they are often denied immigration access to the West.

We’ve heard many justifications as to why we are importing so many immigrants who refuse to assimilate and change the face and future of many countries:

1.       We have an ageing population – demographics tell us that Western women don’t have enough babies to replace the dying population. The replacement value is truly below what is necessary.

2.       Diversity is important and we are not diverse enough. When is diversity enough? Nobody knows as it is an arbitrary statement invented by the leftist monolith. There are over 200 nationalities in the D.C. area alone. How much more diverse must we be? We already have voting ballots and school curricula in some states in dozens of languages.

3.       Immigration cannot be stopped because of globalization – another concept invented and heavily pushed by the left.

4.       This is not who we are as a country, we are told, trying to excuse the illegal immigration. We are a country of legal immigrants. Many of us claim ancestors who have immigrated to the New World. The difference is that we all assimilated, learned English, and became part of the fabric of America, striving to make it better. We did not complain, demand welfare, special status, or Sharia Law. We swore an oath to the U.S. Constitution and to the maintenance of the Constitutional Republic.  We are not a Democracy and we do not condone mob rule.

5.       The downtrodden are flooding the West for a better life and who are we to stop them? We must spread personal hard-earned wealth with the rest of the world even when they don’t want to work, are staying home, making babies, and plotting to destroy the west. Economically speaking, truly poor people cannot afford to pay the human smugglers in order to bring them illegally to Europe or to the U.S.

6.       Illegals come because, no matter how poor they would be in this country, they would be far richer than in their own countries. It is easy to sneak in, easy to remain permanently and overtly, and safe to stay.

7.       It is very easy to deceive the authorities – illegals bring no papers, they are “undocumented,” they lie about their age, where they came from, and, if they learn that being from a certain country gives them priority at the front of the line, they lie about it as well although they do not speak that country’s language.

8.       The borderless world agenda is heavily promoted by non-governmental organizations (NGOs), flush with funds, sending their useful idiots around to the world to advocate for all migration into the western world. Certain NGOs assist migrants before they make it to Europe or the United States.

9.       Multiculturalism – a failed idea, recognized by some European leaders, but still heavily pushed by the progressive left. Most immigrants fail to integrate into the new society, they want to tear it apart and mold it in the vision of the hellhole they’ve escaped from. They accomplish this by running for office and winning political positions, changing education to indoctrination, changing the host culture to suit their goals, demanding special rights and privileges, and establishing enclaves, countries within countries, where no westerners dare to visit.

10.   Destroying free speech in the host country by labeling it “hate speech” and passing laws to enact fines and jail time for those bold enough to speak freely.

11.   Europeans still believe that a core culture can be maintained in every country even though progressivism has pushed for a multi-racial, multicultural society. 

To illustrate that a core culture cannot be maintained, Murray describes the suburb of Saint-Denis on the northern side of Paris, the central location of French history and culture. The Basilica of Saint-Denis contains 3^rd century relics of the Bishop of Paris. The cemetery holds the remains of the French royal family – the Capetian dynasty, the Bourbons, the Medicis, and the Merovingians. Tombs were desecrated during the French Revolution but strangely, the King and Queen deposed by the Revolution are buried here, Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette.

“To wander the district of Saint-Denis today is to see a district more resembling North Africa than France. The market square outside the basilica is a souk more than a market. Stalls sell different types of hijab and radical groups hand out literature against the state. Inside, though all the clergy are elderly white men, the residual congregation is black African, part of the non-Muslim wave of immigration into the area from Martinique and Guadeloupe. This area has one of the highest Muslim populations in France. Around 30 percent of the population of Saint-Denis, also known as the 93^rd district, are Muslim. No more than 15 percent are Catholic.” (Douglas Murray, The Strange Death of Europe, 2018, pp. 109-110)

12.   They are here, there is nothing we can do about it, and we must give them amnesty, thus encouraging not just family chain migration but also a non-stop future invasion.

13.   “The tyranny of guilt,” coined by Murray, refers to certain victims of immigration such as a child dying of illness in custody of the border patrol or the Turkish child whose body washed up on the European shores. The feeling of guilt and shame at such tragedies have turned the progressive borderless agenda against those who wisely and peacefully advocated against illegal immigration. Somehow, they were guilty of the death of these children.

The general sense around the world has been that we must learn to live with the flood of illegals, they are here to stay, they will never repatriate, and we must adjust to the violence and chaos they cause.

Mark Steyn commented about the heavy security public events in Europe must employ, a statement that supports in a way President Trump’s determination to build a southern border wall, “If free countries have to have unsightly security controls, why don’t they have them around the national borders rather than around every single thing inside those borders?” (Murray, p. 333)

And academia has filled the heads of their students with pipe dreams of Marxism and communism, where everyone’s problems will be solved by the benevolent government.  As T.S. Elliott said, “dreaming of systems so perfect that no one will need to be good” and nobody will have to ever work if they don’t want to. After all, we are told that illegals do the jobs that Americans refuse to do.

The Martyr Who Immolated Himself

The dark pages of history have recorded the selfless sacrifice of millions of faceless and often nameless heroes buried in native and foreign lands, quickly forgotten by the collective memory of their brethren whom they protected and saved so that they can have a better life, a brighter tomorrow, a happier future.

Occasionally the hero has a name; he/she commits such a solitary act of bravery and courage that it defies description. But the ultimate self-sacrifice sometimes is quickly forgotten or even scorned.

In 1969 Czechoslovakia, Jan Palack, a 21 year-old student set himself on fire on the steps of the National Museum in Prague in order to protest the USSR military intervention in his country.

Jerzy Popieluszko, a Catholic priest who sympathized with the labor group “Solidarnosti,” was assassinated in October 1984 by the Polish police.

Chris Gueffroy of the German Democratic Republic, a communist satellite state of the Soviet Union, was killed while trying to climb the Berlin Wall in order to flee from communism. Nobody ever tries to flee from capitalism. He was literally the last straw in the west’s desire and campaign to demolish the Wall of Shame built by East German communists in 1961.

The future president of Czechoslovakia, the writer Vaclav Havel, was sentenced to nine months in prison in February 1989, a victim of his anti-communist thoughts, ideas, and writings.

Author Mircea Brenciu dedicated his book, “The Martyr,” to a hero who may have changed the course of history with his act of defiance and bravery.  His self-sacrifice on March 2, 1989 in Poiana Brasov, Romania, helped initiate the end of 24 years of Ceausescu’s brutal communist dictatorship. Yet he is largely unknown today to his own people and to the West.

Mircea Brenciu asked rhetorically in his book dedicated to the most incredible brave man, Liviu Corneliu Babeş, “Why don’t Romanians love their authentic heroes?”

It is understandable why that was the case prior to the “fall” of communism. “Securitatea [security police] had ears everywhere, even when you were quiet, you were a suspect.” Unfortunately, “many of the torturers of yesterday and their replacements can be found today in key political, social, cultural and especially financial positions,” added Brenciu. It is clear why there is so little mention of the most tragic Romanian martyr.

Christianity in general considers suicide unholy and many priests refuse to bury such deceased in holy ground.  Only God can give the right to life and only God can take it away.

The Orthodox Church considers suicide an act of cowardice, not of heroism.  According to the young priest I spoke to on my trip to Poiana Brasov in 2015 to pay my respects to a Romanian hero, Babeş is an apostate and not worthy of praise.

A small monument is located a few feet from a small wooden church in the meadow where Babeş sacrificed himself to bring attention to the rest of the world to the plight of the desperate Romanian citizens living under the boot of communism.

There is a street that bears his name in Brasov, there is a metal cross on the bottom of the ski slope where the end of the tragedy unfolded, the type reserved for road accidents, and a modest monument in Poiana Brasov with the bronze effigy of the martyr created by the artist George Jipa.

Liviu Corneliu Babeş (1942-1989) made the ultimate sacrifice on March 2, 1989, several months before the December revolution that toppled the brutal communist dictatorship of Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife Elena. On a very crowded ski slope in Poiana Brasov where skiers from the West were vacationing, Babeş chose to set himself on fire, protesting the atrocities committed by the Ceausescu regime.

Brenciu wrote how, in a cathedral stillness, the crowd witnessed in shock and horror the unimaginable act of a skier on fire, gaining speed, not making a sound, as the smell of burnt flesh filled the air. At the bottom of the slope, Babeş fell, his body licked by the flames fed by oxygen and the clothes soaked with gasoline.  From underneath his smoldering clothes, he pulled out a sign that read, “STOP MURDER! AUSCHWITZ=BRASOV.”

Brenciu described how two tourists from Scotland, who happened to be very close to where the skier collapsed, covered his smoldering body with coats, in an attempt to put out the flames. When the ambulance arrived, Babeş was still alive, the barely audible labored and pained breaths the only witness to his intense pain and suffering.  According to Brenciu, the stretcher carriers, dressed in white but with police uniforms underneath, and with menacing looks, shooed the crowd away.  They were not there to help the immense suffering of the dying Babeş; they were there to cover up the incident. They announced loudly to the crowd that this man was mentally ill and there was nothing to see. Perhaps the crowd would have believed him, had it not been for the yellowed paper sign Babes carried with him that spoke clearly why he immolated himself.  “One of the residents of the concentration camp called Romania broke the silence, but the price was his personal sacrifice,” said Brenciu.

Nobody knows the last indignities this dying hero had to suffer while in custody of the so-called “saviors.” The Romanian word for ambulance is “salvare,” [salvation]. Their mission was quite different, to get to the bottom of his sacrificial act that dared to destroy the harmony of Poiana Brasov, of the fake reality created for foreign tourists that aimed to give them the false impression that Romanians lived in excellent conditions in Ceausescu’s “most humane and wise political regime possible.”

Mircea Sevaciuc explained that Liviu Cornel Babeş “was buried by communists and Securitate.”  After the revolt in November 15, 1987, Liviu was never left alone. He had sent a letter to Free Europe, asking for a better life for all Romanians. Since that time, a friend said, “He was afraid to walk in the streets. One day he told me at work – they want to get me but they won’t succeed because I am going to set myself on fire.”

 

Babeş’s widow, Etelka, and their daughter, were not left in peace to mourn the loss of their beloved husband and father.  Her apartment, located in one of the drab concrete apartment high-rises, was constantly watched by the Security Police. They came and searched everything and confiscated any notes and sketches he may have left behind. An amateur painter and sculptor, he had a small collection.

One day a friend accompanied Etelka to the cemetery where Babeş was buried.  They were followed by a Security Police officer who did not bother to disguise his obvious spying. Even in death, the communist police state did not leave her Cornel alone because he had the courage to sacrifice his life in such a public way in order to expose communism and its paid torturers and informers who robbed the masses of their humanity and freedom under the false pretense of “social justice” and equality.

 

 

 

Engineered Migration and Demographic Suicide

As the engineered tide of illegal immigrants is flooding Europe and North America, small countries are overwhelmed and have made inefficient and weak attempts to stem this deluge and to close the Schengen zone borders.

Griff Witte wrote on November 3, 2015 on the front page of the Washington Post, “As migrant tide reaches a new high, pressure builds for Europe to seal its borders.” As they are “tempted to close the doors” of the “cherished continent open borders for good,” the big white elephant in the room questions are, why would westerners destroy their nations on purpose by allowing in jihadists disguised as “refugees,” and, why is it necessary to bring in unskilled and often illiterate labor from third world nations?

As Michael Savage wrote so aptly in his recent book, with Government  Zero you have “zero borders, zero language, and zero culture,” you have a nation in shambles.

Author George Weigel described how Europe is committing “demographic suicide” by failing to “create the human future in the most elemental sense, by creating a next generation.” http://eppc.org/publications/christophobia-afflicts-europe/

Most western European nations produce less than the necessary replacement value of 2.1 children per family for many reasons: birth control, abortion, unproductive and unemployed young people who live longer in their parents’ homes, pursuing careers, exploring and following immoral and perverted lifestyles, making selfish choices, and occupations that do not require a large family to support the farm. The solution has been to import immigrants to fill the demographic and no-skill employment needs.

The historian Neagu Djuvara found fault with the lack of ideals, morality and blatant debauchery among civilized society, especially young people. Europeans and Americans alike lack ambitions, he said, and have stopped having children. The West has thus created a vacuum which third world counties are more than happy to fill with their fertility rate of 8.1 children per family.

Legal and illegal immigration has been facilitated by generous welfare programs in nations like Sweden, Finland, Norway, U.K., France, Belgium, and Denmark.  Ghettoes were formed, countries within a country, where immigrants rejected integration, producing sub-cultures that clashed with western civilization in every way.

Refusing to learn the language, the immigrants promised the destruction of the very country they occupied. As they received welfare and free housing, they vowed to remake Europe into a new world order Caliphate.

Bruce Bawer aptly named his book, “While Europe Slept,” describing the Muslim takeover of many European countries as inevitable and enabled by appeasement, self-censorship disguised as political correctness and hate speech, apologies, and across the board accusations of “Islamophobia.”

The “guest workers,” “refugees,” “asylum seekers,” or “family reunification” claimants deliberately destroyed their papers in route to the country of destination, knowing that they would evade detection if they were terrorists. They came from very poor, remote villages, and were highly hostile to Western values and history, and are not likely to accept them.

They are very dishonest, corrupt, and adept at taking advantage of the generous welfare system: unemployment, public assistance, relief payments, child payments, disability, cash support, and rent allowance. Welfare is based on the honor system in some Nordic countries, but Islamic law gives them advice to abuse the infidels’ system, “to cheat and lie to the countries that harbor them.” The monetary benefits are considered “jizya,” a tribute that infidels in Muslim-controlled countries must pay in order to stay alive.

In line with this administration’s plans, young “refugees” are being settled around the country in small and conservative communities who have no idea how to deal with them, where they came from, and who they are. These young men of military age who hate western civilization and our way of life, are supposed to fill the vacuum and replace childless Americans.

People in the U.S. have various opinions why Americans are not having enough babies and why men and women in the civilized world are afraid of marriage and commitment. Dr. Savage dedicated part of one show to this very question.

The opinions of middle-aged men and women are varied:

 

-          Culture has changed,  one no longer needs kids to care for their parents in old age, and women work on careers full-time, leaving less time and resources for raising children

-          People are more selfish and are looking for that perfect wife from Hollywood, genetically perfect, plastically beautiful, smart, famous, and petite

-          Because men don’t commit to marriage, young women are pushing around strollers with dogs and cats

-          Young people play the field, can have sex every day with a different person, pornography is available everywhere, or they already live together without commitment

-          Birth control and abortions are readily available and cheap when compared to raising a child

-          Public schools and environmentalism have brainwashed students that there are already too many humans on the planet and are negatively affecting the health of Mother Earth

-          Out of wedlock kids are raised by welfare government-daddy

-          Morals have decayed and families have broken down by high rates of divorce and by government laws redefining marriage

-          The young have been raised to become the selfish “me and only me” generation

-          Economics dictated that children were an asset in agrarian societies but they are a liability in an industrial society; they live longer and without shame with their parents because they are looking for the perfect dream job

-          Young generation have such high and entitled opinion of themselves, they want high salaries right away, no effort involved, they are a gift to the world, and become depressed when reality hits

-          Helicopters parents have raised them with a false sense of self, they were told they were special and received trophies for participation, with no understanding of failing and starting over

-          If you did not marry someone in the village, you were a failure and had no one to care for you in old age; now you have mobility and accepted immorality, divorce is no longer shameful or a sin; you can tap into the whole world with the Internet, you bring a person from the other side of the world to marry; you are never satisfied and ads confuse you constantly thus exacerbating your narcissism

-          Television and Hollywood created a false sense of yourself, you are waiting for Mr. or Mrs. Perfect because you have plenty of time and  there is always something better out there; you want to be in the one percenters without effort or education, just overnight success

-          Ads projected the white father as the bumbling idiot and Hollywood portrays stupid parents who have to defray to the wisdom of their children, of their little brats who know better than they do

-          Women’s liberation and women working outside of home have destroyed the family unit, there is no more social pressure to get married while men are looking for “bad girls” because that is how the media portrays the beautiful and the desirable

The opinions of young males and females are:

 

-          Women’s liberation is to blame - once women decided to educate themselves, men felt less of an obligation to get married and take care of them

-          Millennials put off being adults because their parents coddle them and allow them to live in their homes indefinitely

-          People live longer thus they can delay maturity and marriage

-          Women and men with morals and religious beliefs are hard to find

-          If women show themselves more independent, men feel less obligated to provide

-          Children are more expensive and the economy is bad

-          Women are sexual objects and men do not respect them

-          The Internet facilitates pornography - men don’t feel the need to be monogamous

-          Definition of marriage has changed, marriage is no longer a religious covenant, it is a social contract and the law says you can now marry anyone and eventually anything

-          Divorce, alimony, and child support are expensive

-          Forced marriages don’t exist anymore because having kids out of wedlock is no longer shameful or scorned by society or by religion

-          Cheating is so prevalent that both men and women want to make sure they marry the right person in order to avoid an expensive and painful divorce

-          For Europeans, housing is so expensive, many potential couples cannot afford married housing or the wait list is so long that they delay marriage and live with their parents

Michael Savage asked pointedly why young men are terrified of the responsibility to have children, why would they allow family lines to die out with them, why commit cultural suicide while taking care of millions of illegal aliens’ children via tax-driven welfare. It is certainly difficult to find moral values in a bar, in a predominantly drinking and partying culture.

Men are afraid of commitment and cite economics as an important reason. But, was it ever inexpensive or easy to have children? “People had babies during the Black Plague and even in concentration camps during the Nazi regime,” Savage said.  Non-western cultures have no problem having lots of babies.

Is the culprit the “chickification” of men driven by the feminist “man-hating movement” that ridicules and infantilizes men, especially white males, and the lack of teaching manhood and responsibility? Is it rap music that glorifies violence against women and utter disrespect for life?

Is it the “hardening of women,” the tough females, who intimidate, scare, and drive off many men? Is it the government daddy that created generations of irresponsible young men who reproduce and abandon their offspring and the responsibility to raise and teach the child they created?

While young men and women keep searching for the perfect mate that does not exist, how is it, asked Savage that arranged marriages work well in other cultures that have no problem with fertility? Why do some women lie to have control of their exes, holding their children hostage to this manipulation?

Will the massive engineered migration from third world countries, the demographic suicide of the west, the overall degradation of western society, and the mental disorder of liberalism eventually doom western civilization?

"Demographic Suicide" and "Ethnic Replacement"

Europeans have been committing “demographic suicide” for decades because of low birth rates. Most western European nations produce less than the necessary replacement value of 2.1 children per family for many reasons: birth control, abortion, unproductive and unemployed young people who live longer in their parents’ homes, careers, exploring and following immoral and perverted lifestyles, selfish choices, and occupations that do not require a large family to support the farm. The solution has been to import immigrants to fill the demographic and employment needs.

Neagu Djuvara finds fault with the lack of ideals, morality and blatant debauchery among civilized society, especially young people. Europeans and Americans alike lack ambitions, he said, and have stopped having children. The West has thus created a vacuum which third world counties are more than happy to fill.

Immigration with a plentiful birthrate was aided by generous welfare programs in nations like Sweden, Finland, Norway, U.K., France, Belgium, Denmark, and the creation of ghettos where immigrants reject integration, creating sub-cultures that clash with western civilization in every way.

Refusing to learn the language, the immigrants promise the destruction of the very country they occupy. As they receive welfare and free housing, they vow to remake Europe into a new world order Caliphate.

Bruce Bawer aptly named his book, “While Europe Slept,” describing the Muslim takeover of many European countries enabled by appeasement, self-censorship disguised as political correctness, apologies, and bans on “Islamophobia.”

The “guest workers,” “refugees,” “asylum seekers,” or “family reunification” claimants deliberately destroy their papers en route to the country of destination, knowing that they would evade detection if they were terrorists sought by Interpol. They come from very poor, remote villages, and are highly hostile to Western values and history, and are not likely to accept Western cultures.

The “refugees” are illiterate, dishonest, corrupt, fecund, and adept at taking advantage of the generous welfare system: unemployment, public assistance, relief payments, child payments, disability, cash support, and rent allowance.

In Nordic countries, social security is based on the honor system. Do these claimants understand the word “honor” when Islamic law advises them to abuse the infidels’ system, “to cheat and lie to the countries that harbor them?” Furthermore, the monetary benefits are considered “jizya,” a tribute that infidels in Muslim-controlled countries must pay in order to stay alive.

Djuvara thinks that the biggest crime against Western Europe was the opening of the floodgates to unchecked immigration for labor reasons or political correctness encouraged by the liberal philosophy of multiculturalism.

The “asylum seekers” were encouraged to segregate, to alienate themselves by not learning the language of the country that gave them asylum, and to rely on welfare. Djuvara believes that these “barbarian hordes” will transform “civilized and prosperous Christian Europe of today into Euro-Indo-Arabia of tomorrow.”

Niall Ferguson encapsulated very succinctly the fate of Europe, “A youthful Muslim society to the south and east of the Mediterranean is poised to colonize a senescent Europe to the north and west.” A popular t-shirt among young Muslims in Sweden says, “2030 – then we take over.”

France and Germany admitted publicly through former President Nikolas Sarkozy and Chancellor Angela Merkel that multiculturalism has failed miserably in their countries, socially, economically, and politically, and it is not sustainable. “The hostility of young minority men toward authority across communities in Europe” has escalated, the deep-seated antipathy leading to frequent and deadly violence.

According to statistics, our illegal alien problem places tremendous burdens on the economy:

-          400,000 illegal women give birth annually to anchor babies who become automatic U.S. citizens

-          All illegals must be cared for medically and educationally at tremendous cost to society

-          Most illegals are almost immediately placed on all forms of welfare

-          Illegals vote, altering our society fundamentally, without understanding our history and culture

-          Communicable diseases that illegals bring in pose a serious threat to the health and safety of Americans

-          Gang violence and criminality is expressed in the statistics that one in every four inmates in federal prison is an illegal (GAO)

-          50-60 percent of illegal immigrants are high school dropouts (Heritage Foundation)

Americans are “progressing” nicely with forced amnesty policies, i.e. the opening of the floodgates of illegals on the southern border under the guise of a manufactured “humanitarian crisis,” essentially nullifying American sovereignty.

Michael Savage is of the opinion that the regime is conducting a “Malthusian war” against American citizens in the form of “ethnic replacement of the dominant European whites with a more malleable, fertile Latin American population” from failed socialist nations.

Strongly anti-American and pro big government, the young and fecund Central American youth who are now bussed or flown via Mexico illegally all over America (70 percent are males between the ages of 14-17), are going to fill the gap of the declining white and black American fertility rates. In doing so, the character of America will be forever altered and La Raza’s Reconquista will be complete.

The young and fertile mothers with 4-5 children in tow who are pouring in through the southern border will become wards of the federal government welfare system immediately. The communicable diseases which they carry are likely to spread to those who come in contact with them.

Thanks to Planned Parenthood and abortion now easily obtained at no cost through Obamacare, the replacement value of demographics in America is likely to fall below the 2.1 children per family necessary to maintain the current American population.

America will survive demographically, but the predominant white European ancestry will be replaced by a Central American ethnicity with no ties or allegiance to America that was created 238 years ago.

 

 

Global Warming Psychological Babble

The global warming alarmists have become so desperate in light of ever-increasing numbers of skeptics that they are trying to tie everything to global warming. Take for instance the Congressional Report Service paper prepared specifically to inform members and committees of Congress (“SEC Climate Change Disclosure Guidance: An Overview and Congressional Concerns,” Gary Shorter, May 24, 2012)

The Securities and Exchange Commission published a document, describing how publicly traded companies should apply existing disclosure rules to the risk that climate change developments may have on their businesses. (“Commission Guidance Regarding Disclosure Related to Climate Change,” January 27, 2010)

In response to this resource-wasteful guidance, Senator John Barrasso and Representative Bill Posey of the 112^th Congress introduced similar bills, S. 1393 and H.R. 2603, prohibiting the enforcement of the SEC’s climate change disclosure guidance.

Companies had no experience in the so-called risks associated with climate change, there is no tangible actual or potential reputational harm from climate change, and the whole process is highly speculative.

The most egregious stretch of manufactured global warming effects is a 55-page report published in February 2012 by the National Wildlife Federation titled, “The Psychological Effects of Global Warming on the United States: And Why the U.S. Mental Health Care System is Not Adequately Prepared.”

Prepared by a forensic psychiatrist and an attorney who adapted in 2006 Al Gore’s book and film, “An Inconvenient Truth,” into a training course curriculum, the lengthy psychobabble, a “national forum and research report,” chastises Americans for “the adolescent-like disregard for the dangers we are warned of, driving green house gases up with only casual concern.”

We are asked, “To find a place in our hearts that mobilizes us to fly into action, forewarned, determined, and relentless.” We are probed with very childish questions, “what would the rest of the world think of us,” “where will we be safe,” “how will we feel about ourselves?”

Rational adults do not care what the rest of the world thinks. Americans feel safe unless environmentalists who treat us like children want to alter our lives fundamentally in the image of their worldview. We feel quite good about ourselves, although lately our egos have taken a beating, given the state of economic despair and purposeful destruction around us wrought by Congress who acts against “we the people” and by this Marxist administration.

The report is calling on “mental health professionals to focus on this, the social justice issue of all times.” The twenty-four college professors, lawyers, doctors, and lobbyists who took part in the forum when this document was distributed represented medical colleges of psychiatry, the CDC, environmental NGOs, climate change lobbyists, and proponents of UN Agenda 21 Convention on Biodiversity.

The doomsday scenarios described in this document include many frightening and preposterous statements that have no backing in fact or science. Presented with a veneer of truth, supposed global warming effects on the psyche of the United States are presented as consensus opinion of people affiliated with environmental groups and universities. Consensus statements by public figures with an agenda are not facts.

The National Forum and Research Report is divided into an executive summary, six chapters, and a conclusion. (February 2012)

The Executive Summary concentrates on “Climate change lessons from the severe weather of summer 2011.” Violent weather is blamed on global warming instead of focusing on the fact that violent weather existed long before man’s industrial revolution.

The entire report ignores the fact that we have a much larger population today, almost 7 billion people in the path of harm in case of violent weather, we are more aware of occurring disasters, and we are almost instantly informed with a click of a button, as the news of any climactic event travels fast via Internet.

“Global warming…in the coming years… will foster public trauma, depression, violence, alienation, suicide, psychotic episodes, post-traumatic stress disorders and many other mental health-related conditions.” (p. i)

“The U.S. mental health care system is only minimally prepared to address the effects of global climate change-related disasters and incidents.” (p. ii)

The writers are stretching the exploratory relationships between supposed global warming trends in climate and the state of the American public mental health. “An estimated 200 million Americans will be exposed to serious psychological distress from climate related events and incidents.” (p. v)  “Some 50 million elderly people, and America’s 35 million low-income people will suffer a disproportionate amount of physical and psychological stress.” (p. vi) By what scientific method have they ascertained these findings?

On pages v and xi, suggesting that “anxieties could increase with continuous and frequent media reports on the subject,” (translation - ad nauseam reporting of one event on every alphabet soup channel for days on end), the Executive Summary recommends that “mental health practitioners, first responders and primary care professionals should have comprehensive plans and guidelines for climate change.”

People have problems finding doctors to treat them for actual ailments, have no insurance, cannot afford insurance anymore because of the expensive and choice-robbing of Obamacare, and now professionals in the mental health community are urged to “shape the best language” to allow environmentalists to control people based on non-existent climate change illnesses?

“Ramping up and sustaining pressure on public officials is imperative.” (p. xiii)

Chapter 1 laments the fact that public policy leaders are not implementing legislative proposals to” reduce gas emissions enough to restore balance to our world and avoid long term environmental damage.” (p. 3) Climate stability is so precarious, they say, that human stability and physical changes are “unprecedented in all of history.” (p. 2)

Chapter 2 uses hurricane Katrina, one of thousands of hurricanes in our collective history, as an example of the manufactured word “solastalgia”…a “palpable sense of dislocation and loss that people feel when they perceive changes in their local environment as harmful.” (p. 7)

I must be feeling “solastalgic” every day then as environmentalists are pushing UN Agenda 21 undesirable and property-robbing changes on our society without our approval.

The authors of the report, citing that 39 percent of Katrina evacuees experienced moderate PTSD, stated that “people suffer more from disasters that are “man made” than they do from natural disasters. How do they know?

I have PTSD every time I see communism around me (“man made” disaster) and I have experienced PTSD after a devastating earthquake (natural disaster). I cannot honestly discern which one is affecting or has affected me more. To answer such a question would be my opinion, my perception, which is neither scientific nor a fact.

“Climate change is already having an impact on biodiversity,...loss of Arctic sea ice threatens biodiversity across an entire biome and beyond.” (Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, Outlook 3, May 2010)

I imagine that such bombastic statements have a frightening effect on ignorant and vulnerable adults and children who look up to authority for answers.

Chapter 3 discusses “traumatic global warming events” on vulnerable populations such as mentally ill, or the existence of epidemic levels of asthma among pre-school children. (p. 17)

Chapter 4 stretches global warming to unbelievable limits by connecting it to the stresses of war.

“As the U.S. military looks ahead to the likely causes of war in the next 30 years…global warming is front and center.” (p. 20)

Citing Army statistics that 20 out of 100,000 soldiers have killed themselves, the report attributes war, strife, social injustice, and suicide rates to global warming caused by the rich.

Redistribution of wealth will be necessary in order to avert the unleashing of global warming and the destruction of 30 percent of species and of humanity itself.

“The most profound danger to world peace in the coming years will stem not from the irrational acts of states or individuals but from the legitimate demands of the world’s dispossessed. Of these poor and disenfranchised, the majority live a marginal existence in equatorial climates. Global warming, not of their making but originating with the wealthy few, will affect their fragile ecologies most. Their situation will be desperate and manifestly unjust.” (p. 22)

Chapter 5 predicts nationwide anxiety. Dr. Eric Chivian “stated that the destructive potential of global warming is, in many ways, “greater than what we faced with nuclear war.”(p. 27)

The authors suggest that a green economy could fix everything for the common good, “would provide opportunities for struggling American workers and some stalled or outmoded enterprises dependent on older industries and burning fossil fuels.” (p. 28)

Hapless Americans should not worry though, “the discipline of psychology can be used to uncover what the barriers are to reducing our carbon footprint and adopting a green lifestyle.” (p. 31). The nanny control state will take care of everyone and everything. All you have to do is relinquish your freedom completely.

Chapter 6 addresses the high cost of ignoring mental health and climate change. “The American Journal of Psychiatry estimates that mental illness results in lost earnings of $193.2 billion per year.”(p. 35)  How do lost earnings from mental illness connect to global warming? How is a person “grievously hurt by global warming?” I think liberals and environmentalists have the answer already figured out.

I do not know about you but I need to take something for my headache before a much-deserved Realityville break in order to restore my sanity. Environmental activism for the sake of controlling the globe’s productive population is a mental disease in itself.
