Globalist Agenda 21, Now Agenda 2030, Continues Undeterred

President Donald J. Trump issued Executive Order 14199, withdrawing the United States from International Organizations, Conventions, and Treaties that are contrary to the Interests of the United States. It is a start, just like getting us out of the WHO, but unless President Trump’s Executive Order is translated into law, it can and will be rescinded one day by the next Democrat President. To allow sustainable development, the lynchpin of U.N. Agenda 21, into all levels of government, President Clinton issued Executive Order 12852 in 1993. This created the President’s Council on Sustainable Development which made sure that all 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development goals) of U.N. Agenda 21 were implemented into all federal agencies.

If local and state governments do not shut down metropolitan planning organizations, regional planning organization, real estate planning organizations, and area transportation authorities, American taxpayer dollars will be used at the local level to deploy the globalist agenda.

The globalist agenda has been put into operation around the country since President Bush Sr. has signed the United States into U.N. Agenda 21 in 1992 and President Clinton codified it into every federal agency, department, infusing Sustainability into everything every agency does.

At the Johannesburg Summit in 2002, Colin Powell said that the U.S. was on board with U.N. Agenda 21. The U.S. Conference of Mayors created in 1997 the Joint Center for Sustainable Development and in 2001 the National Governors Association endorsed Smart Growth.

At that time, the federal government owned 33% of all land in the U.S. while state and local governments owned another 10%. We also know that since then Bill Gates acquired agricultural lands in the U.S and became the largest farm landowner in the U.S., with 275,000 across several states. Why a computer businessperson would buy so much agricultural land is an interesting question. Whoever controls the land, water, and the food supply controls the people. In 2011 President Obama signed Executive Order 13575 to create the White House Rural Council and to require every agency in the U.S. to oversee “all food, fiber, and energy needs for all the rural sustainable communities across the U.S., affecting 16% of the United States.”

Since the United Nations adopted in 1974 the idea that in this New International Economic Order the government should control the economy, our freedoms and private properties have been squeezed bit by bit, a death of freedom by a thousand paper cuts.

Then the same United Nations followed in 1976 with the statement that “land cannot be controlled by the individual because land represents wealth and it is a social injustice for it to be owned by the individual.”

In 1987 the Brundtland Commission coined the phrase "sustainable development.” This commission detailed how “to take control of the world’s economies and to redistribute the wealth.”

And the last nail in the coffin of global economic freedom came in 1990 when the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI), now known as Local Governments for Sustainable Development, was founded at the World Congress for Local Governments for a Sustainable Future at the U.N. in New York.

Thus, began in earnest everything Sustainable, Green Growth, Smart Growth, smart meters, green energy via wind turbines and solar panels, fifteen-minute cities, walkability, smart education, smart housing, and biking everywhere to save the planet from bogus global warming that has been disproven time and time again by real science, not science ‘consensus.’  Consensus is agreement between like-minded people, not science. agenda 21 key word - UN Documents: Gathering a body of global agreements 

The Marxist Foxes in the Henhouse

The Marxist Foxes have been in our henhouse for a long time. Most people were not aware or listened to Hollywood vilifying Joe McCarthy by calling everyone admitting the existence of communism among us as McCarthyism – a dirty word in the world of leftist political correctness (PC) promoted heavily by the media, educators, and academics alike. In this atmosphere of public indoctrination, the new world order (NOW) thrived.

Woodrow Wilson’s famous Fourteen Points, the last of which called for the creation of the League of Nations (1920), was written by Colonel Edward Mandell House. This League of Nations ceased to exist on April 20, 1946, when it handed all its assets to the United Nations. “

Less than a month after Pearl Harbor, Roosevelt issued a ‘Declaration of United Nations.’”  The U.N. introduced in 1961 a Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World which planned to transfer all nations’ military power to the U.N. which would have only police power. The idea of a global military power under the U.N.’s control failed, and the global governance/new world order was redesigned.

The new design was the U.N. Agenda 21/Agenda 2030, using climate change control as a weapon for everything. The lynchpin became Sustainable Development (SD), the transfer of wealth from rich nations to poor nations, and the destruction of western capitalism. The accidental travelers of the climate change industry were more than happy to undersign and follow this process.

Dr. Robert Muller developed the World Core Curriculum based on James Lovelock’s Gaia Hypothesis, the idea that “earth itself is a living organism, the giver of life, that every species is equal in value; and that both animate, and inanimate objects have rights.” Textbooks and television shows are promoting this idea to students across the U.S.

As bizarre as this sounds, Muller claimed that “every species is a cell in the global organism and that the evolution of the United Nations represents the development of the earth’s brain.”

Less than a month after the creation of the United Nations, UNESCO was formed in 1945, with its first director at the helm, Julian Huxley. Julian, an evolutionary biologist, was Aldous Huxley’s brother, the author of Brave New World.

The very first project of UNESCO was to teach the world’s educators how to indoctrinate their students to be citizens of the world. Students were taught that “nationalism was bad and had to be replaced with the idea of world citizenship.”

The United Nations has devolved from being the peacekeeper of the world into something else, with a myriad of NGOs. For a long time, U.S. presidents have appeased and allowed communist tyrants and other dictatorships in the United Nations as allies and pacified them with financial help.

Thus, the scourge of communism was never really defeated in 1990 as stated by the media, historians, and other colluding organizations. The taxpayers unwittingly assisted its move across the Atlantic to the United States where it took solid roots and started growing like a wildfire.

H. W. Bush’s New World Order is now in the last stages of implementation thanks to the United Nations and its NGOs funded by U.S. taxpayers. The U.N. is also aided by the Fifth Column in America which is sympathetic to and collaborating with our enemies.

Ever since Cecil Rhodes established The Secret Society in 1891, a group of highly influential individuals who shared his vision, and Edward M. House formed The Inquiry in the U.S., the fate of the world was sealed.

Upon Cecil Rhodes’ death, Alfred Milner took over and the group was renamed the Chatham House Gang because they bought the Chatham House where they met.

Edward M. House’s group, The Inquiry, became known as the Council on Foreign Relations and the Chatham House Gang became the Royal Institute for International Affairs.

Woodrow Wilson made significant efforts to establish a global association of nations. He “filled his administration with members of the Council on Foreign Relations and they developed his legislative agenda.”

According to Curtis B. Dall, Roosevelt’s son-in-law, “… most of his [Roosevelt’s] thoughts, his political ammunition … was carefully manufactured for him in advance by the CFR-One World money group.” (The Rise of Global Governance DVD, Part 2 at 9:24)

The CFR was so influential that they wrote George W. Bush’s “Security and Prosperity Partnership” which proposed to erase the borders with Canada and Mexico, creating the North American Union, not unlike the creation of the European Union.

The New World Order/Global Governance includes all policies/schemes created by non-elected bureaucrats from international institutions that “… limit the social, educational, financial, and business behavior of individuals, organizations, and companies.” These non-elected bureaucrats form a group who believes that a “benevolent government populated by the enlightened intelligentsia should manage society.”

The other players in this global governance/new world order are the World Economic Forum (WEF), the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Bilderbergers, and the Trilateral Commission.

CFR has a membership of 5,000 with a select group at its core. According to Alex Newman, CFR has a “’corporate membership’ that includes the world’s largest bailed-out mega-banks, Big Oil, Big Pharma, crony capitalists, the military industrial complex, publishing houses, and much of the establishment media.”

U.S. Admiral Chester Arthur, a CFR member for 20 years, wrote in his book, Kissinger on the Couch, that “within the CFR there exists a ‘much smaller group but more powerful … made up of Wall Street international bankers and their agents.’”  This faction is “headed by the Rockefeller brothers.”

The Trilateral Commission is more elite and international, founded in 1973 by the late globalist and self-described conspirator for a one world order David Rockefeller. He was a CFR member since 1941and chair of the board from 1970 to 1985, and honorary chair until his death in 2017 at the age of 101. Bilderberg was founded in 1954 by “former Nazi SS member Prince Bernhard” and met initially at Hotel de Bilderberg in the Netherlands, hence the name. It is a “forum for informal discussions, designed to foster dialogue.” Analysts refer to the Bilderbergers as the secret global government.

According to Alex Newman, each meeting has “between 120 and 150 attendees, most of whom come from Europe and North America, representing every tentacle of establishment power.” The world’s most influential people and useful journalists are invited to attend – “Big Government, Big Green, Big Media, Big Oil, Big Espionage, Big Banks, Big War, Big Internet, Big Foundations, Big Communism, Big Data, and most of the other important ‘Bigs.’” (Alex Newman)

The World Economic Forum (WEF), founded in 1971 by a German engineer, Klaus Schwab, is a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Geneva, Switzerland. It is funded by its 1,000 member companies, each with more than $5 billion in capital, with the goal of “improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas.”

WEF claims that a globalist world is best managed by multinationals, government, and civil society organizations via initiatives like the Great Reset and Global Redesign. Citizens need not participate as the rich and powerful know best what is good for them.

To achieve the New World Order fully, all of America’s historic principles must be destroyed – borders, sovereignty, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, the right to bear arms, all divergent opinions, and historical facts.

Covid 19 lockdowns served as a beta test for the New World Order – the controllers wanted to know how far they could push the population in the face of abject fear.

Billionaires and corrupt politicians are working non-stop with other globalists to achieve the New World Order by 2030 with the help of groups of elected and unelected individuals, most of whom work in the shadows.

 

 

How Was Sustainable Development Introduced?

The lynchpin of U.N. Agenda 2030, originally U.N. Agenda 21, is Sustainable Development (SD) with its 17 SD goals established by the United Nations’ globalist cabal.

The concept of Sustainable Development (SD) was introduced in 1987 at the conference of the World Commission on Environment and Development, chaired by Gro Harlem Brundtland, 29^th prime minister of Norway. She served three terms.

To achieve SD, a vague definition was introduced: “Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” It is quite vague, leaving room for abuse and constant changes predicated on a hidden agenda - what needs, whose needs specifically, who decides, for how long, and what ability of future generations. It can literally and figuratively be anything the cabal decides in secret. The rest of the world must obey.

The blueprint for SD in 1987 became U.N. Agenda 21 in 1992, signed by 179 nations at the U.N. Conference on Environment and development in Rio. The document was 300 pages long, now more pages have been added.

To “Americanize” this SD blueprint, President Bill Clinton formed the President’s Council on Sustainable Development by Executive Order #12852 on June 29, 1993, with 12 cabinet secretaries, six environmental organizations, i.e., the Nature Conservancy, the Sierra Club, the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, and executives from Enron, Browning Ferris, and S.C. Johnson.

Federal government grants spread Sustainable Development (SD) to all 50 states by creating a huge group of Sustainable Development NGOs (non-governmental organizations) and by giving grants directly to cash starved state and local governments.

The federal grants provided the funding; NGOs provided the leadership; local governments provided the targets for change without the knowledge or vote of the population affected by SD changes.

EPA and other federal agencies awarded “visioning” grants and “challenge” grants to develop a plan of action to transform communities across the country into sustainable development communities.

Universities also received grants dispersed to individual colleges within each university to teach students about SD.

NGOs (non-governmental organizations) received grants to work with local governments to create county-wide or region-wide plans such as Your Town 2024 or Sustainable Your Town or SD Region X, Y, Z Plan.

Visioning meetings developed comprehensive plans which included:

-         Nature preservation

-         Save the wetland

-         Improve the wetlands

-         Restrict development in sensitive areas (they decided what was sensitive)

-         Sustainable agriculture and farming (no fertilizer, no chemicals)

-         Never compromise wetlands or wildlife to the detriment of humans living in the area

-         Preservation of scenic views

-         Designate scenic highways

-         Development must be clustered and high rise

-         Rural village concept (it worked in Sovietized Europe after the Communist Party confiscated all agricultural land)

-         Smart growth, planned developments such as 15-minute cities

-         Walkability, 5 minutes from work, play, and school

-         Increased population density

-         Limit mobile homes

-         Zoning to encourage infill

-         More codes to be enforced

-         Conservation easements on agricultural land (a contract that forbids the landowner to do anything with the land without the NGO’s permission)

-         Sidewalks, bike paths, and walking paths

-         Multi-use trails and corridors that are landscaped

Comprehensive planning in SD cannot be initiated by the landowners but by the local community who are told what they need and want by a coalition of international organizations.

Smart Growth implies Land-Use control by the government:

-         1976 U.N. Conference on Human Settlements “D(1)(d) Governments must maintain full jurisdiction and exercise complete sovereignty over land with a view to freely planning development of human settlements…”

-         1992 U.N. Conference on Environment & Development “7.30(c) Develop fiscal incentives and land-use control measures, including land-use planning solutions for a more rational and environmentally sound use of limited land resources.’

Urban boundary zones appear in comprehensive master plans – municipal services such as water, sewer, fire, and police protection are not provided even though locals pay taxes for such.

Consensus of civil society (who is this civil society always quoted by the U.N. cabal every time they meet in tropical and very expensive locales where they issue new and revised documents and regulations) never includes locals who are affected by these comprehensive plans developed by outsiders.

Farmers know their land and treasure it. They know how to protect their resources because their livelihood depends on it. They don’t need outsiders telling them how to farm and where.

Government-managed societies end in environmental degradation, misuse of resources, greater division of economic classes, and hopelessness for the government-dependent poor. I know because I have experienced it. “Life is always better when people cooperate rather than a few try to dominate and control.”

Global governance using environmentalism as a tool started probably in 1891 when Cecil Rhodes asserted that the entire globe should be governed by the British Empire. How convenient to colonize the entire planet! Which is exactly what the globalist cabal wants to do.

Two weeks after Pearl Harbor Roosevelt used the term United Nations for the first time in his “Declaration of the United Nations.”

At about the same time, Professor Quincy Wright predicted the U.N. when he described in the Baltimore News Post a “Commission to Study the Organization of Peace”. United Nations became everything but an organization of peace.

Rachel Carson, another doomsayer, wrote Silent Spring and her infamous book convinced an entire generation that we are poisoning and destroying the earth.

In my 21^st century America, I hear and see thousands of birds every year in the vicinity of our suburban home. Incidentally, the U.N. Agenda 2030 cabal wants to forbid suburbia while busy cutting down forests to make paper and carboard boxes and burying CO2 pipelines (to mitigate the faux global warming), denying the gas of plant life to billions of trees that need to be replenished after so much paper use instead of the much-maligned plastics.

The real goal of SD is to reduce and control the earth’s population drastically because they are producing too much carbon. How paying a tax for said carbon is going to save the planet and offsetting CO2 production is never explained. But, one of the cabal members spoke openly that those citizens who cannot afford to travel anywhere can sell their potential carbon footprint to those citizens who are rich and can afford to go places and spew more carbon in the atmosphere with their jets and yachts.

Obviously, SD is a huge scam for power and control by the rich globalist cabal. It has nothing to do with the environment. If it did, the rich would be out there cleaning the environment polluted by China, India, and other poor countries that do not have a functioning garbage disposal plan, they use rivers and oceans to dispose of their trash.

If the cabal cared about the environment, they would not pay billions of dollars to spray daily our atmosphere with chemicals and chalk on their belief that blocking out the sun will mitigate the damage done by their global warming/climate change industry. In the process, they are harming mother nature, the weather, the climate, the food, water, and oxygen supply of the planet, killing animals and people.

 

 

 

Land Grab, Return to Feudalism in the 21st Century

Writing about U.N. Agenda 21 document signed by 178 countries in 1992 in Rio, has garnered me the title of “conspiracy theorist,” and worse. No ad hominem attacks have succeeded in derailing me -- our country and future are too important.

The global governance I wrote about in my book, U.N. Agenda 21: Environmental Piracy, has been gradually implemented at all levels of government by executive orders, laws, regionalism, private/public partnerships, land grab and control, invasion of borders, no sovereignty, fiat currency replacement with digital currency, no national language, reduced mobility, water and travel restrictions, smart grids, fossil fuel interdictions and replacement with “green” energy, agricultural tampering, weather modification with cloud injections with toxic particles to mitigate the so-called global warming, population redistribution through mass migration/invasion, IOM-directed open borders, education indoctrination, no suburbia, and many others.

The federal government continues to acquire and control public lands. Already fifty percent of the land in western U.S. and 80 percent in Nevada is owned by the government.

Non-governmental organizations (NGOs), mushrooming in the 21^st century nationally and internationally, have bought private land and took it out of use in perpetuity via special contracts with farmers called agricultural conservation easements. Reducing taxation on their private lands in exchange for such conservation easements has been enticing to the farmers who did not realize that they were locking their lands into conservation forever.

Farmers and landowners can no longer do anything on their lands without the approval of the NGO that holds the conservation easement contract.  

Many public and private land areas have been slated for “re-wilding,” a return to nature with no human habitation; other areas have been subjected to the reintroduction of once extinct animals such as wolves, who now kill the ranchers’ cattle.

U.N. Agenda 21, now morphed into U.N. Agenda 2030, requires that every societal decision be made with the environmental impact on global land use, global education, and global population control and migration in mind.

U.N. Agenda 2030 has deemed “not sustainable” most human activities that form our modern civilization: private property, fossil fuels, consumerism, farming, irrigation, commercial and small farm agriculture, pesticides, herbicides, farmlands, livestock grazing, paved roads, golf courses, ski lodges, logging, dams, reservoirs, fences, power lines, suburban living, and the family unit.

Another U.N. driven, international policy initiative, 30x30, calls for the “formal protection of at least 30 percent of land and water by 2030 and eventually 50 percent. The science behind such an initiative is not based on hard scientific data but on computer models which are faulty at best.

The U.S. target is to increase the federal land holdings from 300 million acres to a goal of 30 percent by 2030. To reach that goal, an additional 400 million acres must be taken from private owners. The acquisitions will include national parks, national refuges, wilderness areas, and private lands with conservation easements in place.

Executive order #14008 of July 27, 2021, established that climate crisis is the most important national security issue and we must make sure that a “safe global temperature is achieved.” Nobody explained what a “safe global temperature” is, who decides that number, and how it is evaluated to make sure that number is “safe”? “Shortly after taking office, President Joe Biden signed an Executive Order, directing the Department of Interior to outline steps to achieve the President’s commitment to conserve at least 30% of U.S. lands and waters by the year 2030, as recommended by scientists, to safeguard our health, food supplies, biodiversity, and the prosperity of every community. A group of financial analysts decided around 2021 that it was time to make money from securities of natural assets, agricultural land and parks, and the idea of a natural asset company (NAC) was born.

NACs describe their problematic securities as such:

1.     Purpose (unlock the value of natural assets by allowing investors to participate in their management and the ecological benefits); by what metric is this done and who decides; who is then the actual owner of the natural asset? The securities investors or the generational owner with a deed to the land?

2.     Assets covered (marine ecosystem, forests, and agricultural land) How is this not a land grab?

3.     Ecological performance (NACs quantify and monetize natural outputs; treating them like a form of currency. NACs may profit from activities related to conservation, restoration, or sustainable management. Who decides the quantification, how is it done, by what metric, and how is it a form of currency?

4.     Control of Lands (public and private land, land use decision and access to natural resources on that land); sounds like a land grab to me!

5.     Global Impact (how we value and manage our natural resources); who are we?

A Natural Asset Company (NAC) is a security that “holds rights and manages the productivity and ecological benefits of natural assets such as natural forests, marine areas, and farmland.” It is a clear land grab, commercial fishing rights grab, mineral rights grab, mining rights grab, logging rights grab, etc. from the private owners.

Push back from the public squashed the SEC’s proposed rule to approve such a move and the NYSE withdrew the application. In “the fleecing of America’s property rights,” the good guys won the first battle but not the war.

As of now, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the lynchpin of U.N. Agenda 2030, are included in everything and everywhere around the planet. I came to the realization that this agenda is so insidious and so much part of every facet of our society, that it will take a huge miracle to dismantle it.

The already ensconced U.N. Agenda 2030 is regulating and controlling the globe into economic destruction and regression to a feudal society whereby 21^st century humans are beholden to the police state, to the landed, to the water and resources lords, to the globalist government.

U.N. Agenda 21/2030 in full Operational Mode

U.N. Agenda 21 of the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio is finally in full operational mode after decades of concerted efforts to bring western civilization to its knees and reshape it into its Vision of Sustainable Development Goals. The losers are the people and their Sustainable Freedom.

Various NGOs and their American and European elite financial sponsors developed and implemented the three major documents issued at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992.

President Clinton formed in 1993 the President’s Council on Sustainable Development (the 28 members included major Cabinet Secretaries, select NGO managers, and a few business elites) to force the implementation of the three documents adopted in Rio and signed by 179 countries.

The Senate ratified the Framework Convention on Climate Change because it contained no legally binding requirements.

A young Nancy Pelosi urged House Members to adopt the full U.N. Agenda 21. The Convention on Biological Diversity passed the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (vote 16-3) on June 29, 1994. However, it was pulled from the calendar one hour before the scheduled full Senate vote. Because the Senate did not ratify the treaty, the Clinton administration implemented the treaty’s recommendations anyway through a policy called Ecosystem Management. The Convention on Biological Diversity was implemented thus administratively and a 1140-page instruction book, Global Biodiversity Assessment, was written to describe how protected areas can be “fashioned after the Wildlands Project which was published in the U.S. in 1992.”

U.N. Agenda 21 has now been converted into U.N. Agenda 2030. Agenda 21 was a “soft law” document, meaning that its recommendations are not legally binding but the 179 nations that have signed it are “morally obligated to implement them.” Congress has never debated or adopted Agenda 21, but many provisions have been included in other legislations.

The main goals of global governance are government control of land use and control of all people and businesses. It is for this reason that many conservatives never called it U.N. Agenda 21, they were advised to call it instead, property rights.

Wise Americans, who bothered to read the 40-chapter document, have informed, and warned others about the evil behind the globalist agenda but they were ignored.

One prominent person who had a “golden microphone” daily for three hours and the opportunity and responsibility, as a famous American patriot, to inform the public properly about U.N. Agenda 21 was Rush Limbaugh. He would discuss issues within the U.N. Agenda 21, but he always stopped short of calling it what it was.

A.J. Cameron wrote, … “his legion of listeners refused to believe the agenda exists because he said it did not exist. When a caller would utter ‘U.N. Agenda 21’ on his show, he would swiftly go to an ‘obscene profit timeout,’ and most of his listeners never put 2 and 2 together."

Every community around the U.S., with help from the local boards and the Visioning of ICLEI (International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives), American Planning Association, EPA, and other governmental agencies, have followed the guidelines of the 1976 U.N. Conference on Human Settlements in Vancouver that declared that government control of land use was indispensable, and governments had to mandate population redistribution to accommodate the needs of biodiversity.

The results of these recommendations are open borders, with the massive invasion of illegal aliens, and destruction of U.S. sovereignty. Europe is in an analogous situation as countries are invaded by foreign nationals just as recommended by U.N. Agenda 21/2030.

We are no longer in the testing or the beta phase of the globalist agenda, we are currently in the full operational phase of U.N. Agenda 21 converted into Agenda 2030.

It is a fast-moving hurricane which brings, among a myriad of changes detrimental to humanity such as a global digital currency, prohibition of combustion engine vehicles, no gas stoves, no gas heat, inefficient and insufficient wind and solar energy, fossil fuel energy control via smart meters, population relocation in 15-minute cities, 250 square foot apartments, destruction of suburbia, the GPS driven kill-switch in cars, no fertilizers for crops, medical and climate lockdowns, powdered bugs in food, and shortages of medicines.

Suppress the first world and the third world will die as a result. But impoverished populations from socialist countries have been encouraged, transported, and paid to migrate, and to occupy the land of the developed world. The taxpayers are footing the bill to add millions of Democrat voters who do not speak English and have no inkling of our history and political situation. They only care about welfare.

Agenda 2030 goals are implemented by government fiat control at the local, state, and federal levels. The globe has become one large “sustainable development” nightmare filled with “sustainable communities.”

Because socialist nations (their taxes are more than 50-60%) have complained that it is unfair for the United States to have such low tax rates, the International Monetary Fund released a report in April 2010 which revealed the plan to create a global currency. The result now is the impending digital currency.

Most Congresspeople support global governance despite their constituents’ wishes. All international rules, institutions, and practices imposed by billionaire elites are aimed at “limiting the behavior of people in the United States,” the last thorn in the globalists’ side.

But America’s historic system of freedom and self-governance cannot survive in a world governed by the United Nations in collusion with globalist billionaires and a corrupt Congress.

 

 

 

Indoctrination Nation, Sustainable Development, and Nudging

Recently, our natural gas utilities started to mail its customers a “nudging” letter, colorfully printed in green, blue, and black, under the guise of helping customers decide how much gas they consumed, compared to previous months and to homes of similar size in the area. The fact that they had access to such data and took the time to find homes of similar size in the area is bothersome enough.

Having access to such data, the gas company is letting us know whether we consumed more gas than “efficient homes” or more/less than similar homes, all described in “therms.” The therms were colored in green for efficient, blue for your home, and black for similar homes.

A quick search revealed that a “therm” is a “unit of heat equivalent to 100,000 Btu or 1.055 x 10⁸ joules.” Since physics is not my forte, it might as well be in Greek. The gas company wrote that “a therm is a standard unit of measurement used to calculate natural gas use.”

The home profiling [spying] is done by using 100 single-family homes in the area with similar heating source and square footage. Should one find the report off, as if we knew that it was off, one is encouraged to take the Home Energy Assessment to make it more accurate. Additionally, they recommend upgrading to Energy Star appliances and installing a natural gas fireplace operated by the flip of a switch and a $75 rebate.

This letter is not going to cause me to change my heating behavior or consumption of any kind unless you triple the inflationary price again and I cannot afford to pay it. Who wants to be cold in winter?

If I turn the fireplace on, my gas bill will be twice as much. As it is, our gas bill was three times the price from previous months thanks to the Biden regime’s economic policies and inflation. And no, utility company, as you suggested, I did not have guests in my home that overstayed their welcome, thus forcing us to use more hot water for laundry.

This brings me to the modification of consumer behavior through incentives or through shaming with the help of innocuous nudging.

Cass R. Sunstein, a former Obama official, published a seven-page essay in 2014 in which he described a list of ten most important “nudges.” Microsoft Word - shortguide9_22.docx (ssrn.com)

“Liberty-Preserving Approaches” is steering people in the right direction as determined by those in power because consumers may not be smart or attentive enough to make their own logical decisions and choices. The government can institute bans and mandates, but nudges seem benign and do not strip you of liberty of choices, i.e., GPS, apps, text messages, alarm clocks, appointment reminders, etc.

Sunstein claims that nudges “maintain freedom of choice,” are “transparent and effective,” but “need evidence and testing.” “Some nudges are described as soft paternalism because they steer people in a certain direction,” wrote Sunstein. In his opinion, nudges are becoming quite important. He cites U.K.’s Behavioral Insights Team (Nudge Unit) and the U.S.’s White House Social and Behavioral Sciences Team.

Sunstein wrote, “In the context of retirement planning, automatic enrollment has proved exceedingly effective in promoting and increasing savings. In the context of consumer behavior, disclosure requirements and default rules have protected consumers against serious economic harm, saving many millions of dollars. Simplification of financial aid forms can have the same beneficial effect in increasing college attendance as thousands of dollars in additional aid (per student). Informing people about their electricity use, and how it compares to that of their neighbors, can produce the same increases in conservation as a significant spike in the cost of electricity.”

Sunstein’s ten important nudges are:

1.      “Default Rules (automatic enrollment in programs such as education, health, retirement, savings whether you want it or not)

2.      Simplification (rules devised by government and corporatism, public-private partnerships)

3.      Uses of social norms (“reuse towels in hotels, most people do it to save the planet” – manipulating choices by shaming if you don’t do it like your neighbor)

4.      Increases in ease and convenience (make it easy and visible to shoppers, manipulating their easy v. harder choices)

5.      Disclosure (“sunlight is the best disinfectant”) – something that seldom happens in government

6.      Warnings, graphic or otherwise (large font, bold letters to trigger people’s attention, fines)

7.      Precommitment strategies (nudging procrastinators in ways that eventually become required)

8.      Reminders (appointments, emails, text messages, overdue bills notices)

9.      Eliciting implementation intentions (consumers, do you plan to go to college, do you plan to vote, to vaccinate your child)

10.  Informing people of the nature and consequences of their own past choices (“smart disclosure,” but is it smart if you are accessing my information when I did not ask you to do it, and without my consent, in order to “help” me save money or to sell me smart appliances that spy on my household even more?)

According to United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, and the Behavioral Science Advisor to the United Nations, Dr. Lori Foster, “In the real world, humans do not always behave in perfectly rational ways, something behaviorally informed policies and programs take into account, helping people, organizations, communities, and countries translate intention into action.” Who gets to decide what is a ‘perfectly rational way to behave’ and why should a globalist government decide?

Enter nudges to change people’s behaviors much faster in order to implement U.N. Agenda 21 now morphed into U.N. Agenda 2030. “Nudges can take many forms, but describe policy design choices or actions that apply insights from behavioral science to improve consumers’ existing choices. So how can nudges combat climate change, pollution and unsustainable use of the Earth’s resources?”

Once the frowned-upon behaviors are understood, the globalist organization makes the behavioral change mandatory, for all humans, for their own good, as determined by a high-minded bureaucrat who knows better because their science is in a consensus, stripping choices away from the people’s decision-making. The Globalist War on Humanity and Nudging

The globalist war on humanity continues. The billionaire crowd of the World Economic Forum and U.N. cohorts are attacking humans from every angle because their goal is to reduce the global population to a billion by any means necessary in order to “save” the planet from an imagined Armageddon hundreds of years from now. They are putting in danger 345 million poor people who cannot afford to eat and heat their homes due to escalating energy prices, prices made so high through political decisions toward fossil fuels created by President Biden in his first day in office.

Human behavior is regulated and controlled by a small group of people who know better what is best for humanity in order to sustain life on planet Earth which is an imagined danger. Such dire predictions have been made constantly for the past hundreds of years, none of them proven true, all of them based on computer modeling and assumptions made by persons who do not have the scientific qualifications to make such dire predictions.

According to some, the global population would serve the future planet best at half a billion or a billion people. What exactly are they planning for the other 6-7 billion humans?

Paul Ehrlich wrote in 1968 his book, “The Population Bomb,” advocating for a “green revolution” as a way to avoid world-wide famine. He wrote that “in the 1970s hundreds of millions of people will starve to death in spite of any crash programs embarked upon now.”

As I remember the 1970s, the western economies did well, and nobody starved to death. On the other hand, people living under communism in various countries did suffer from hunger and malnutrition due to poor economic planning and political ideology. Currently, it appears that the green politicians and billionaires from developed nations are causing world-wide famine.

Ehrlich argued that there cannot be more people on Earth than we can feed. “Clearly, other things being equal, fewer people will do less damage to the planet.” … “Population growth puts increased pressure on everything else …”

One of the subtle goals of U.N. Agenda 21/2030 has been to “nudge” people to behave the way globalists think we should behave. Nudge is a concept in behavioral economics and other fields.

The nudge concept was popularized in the 2008 book, Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness by Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein. Nudge units exist at the national level as well as international level such as World Bank, United Nations, and the European Commission.

If nudging is unsuccessful, authorities move to unsustainable rhetoric, change economic policy to affect pricing, supply and demand, tax the undesirable behavior, and enforce punishments for those who violate directives.

One example of nudging, presented as helping consumers save energy and money on gas bills, came from our gas company. They compared our gas use to other homes in the area (shaming or praising) and attempted to “explain” why our gas use was higher than the previous year, i.e., “using more hot water than usual or a long-term guest may have raised your energy use.” There was no mention of the fact that temperatures may have been colder or that older people cannot afford to drop temperature in their homes 5-8 degrees F from 68 degrees recommended because they would get sick.

Such intrusion disguised as a home energy report raised alarm bells in my mind. I recognize this nudging and shaming/praising because in my former life under communism, activists would visit homes and urge wearing extra layers of clothing in frigid temperatures inside our apartments, all for the good of the country. The commies in power were warm in their abodes. No matter how little gas or water we received on the strict daily schedule, we were using too much, they said.

As good citizens, the communists told us, we were to sacrifice more - cook less, bathe less, and shiver, they said. "We are building a socialist man." Eventually, they were not nudging us anymore; they were threatening us with punishment if we did not comply like good little collectivists.

 

The war in Ukraine and deliberate policies from Washington to make fossil fuels scarce and very expensive in order to discourage consumption and make room for their green energy, wind and solar, have made people in poor countries even poorer and right down desperate. For example, in Romania, energy prices are huge. The minimum income is $400-500 per month, yet the average December natural gas bill and electricity were a combined 2,900 lei, approximately $750.

 

Before the U.S. became a crony capitalist economy protected by the political class, goods and services were delivered abundantly, based on supply and demand, and a company did not care how much consumers used any product or service as long as they paid for them. We certainly had plenty of natural gas, there was no shortage until the “green” globalists decided to advance their green energy agenda to the detriment of fossil fuels.

 

The insidious side of nudging may not be obvious to the young and old who prefer a communist economy to a capitalist economy. But they must be careful what they wish for. Once they are under globalist [read communist] control fully, it will be impossible to vote it out at the increasingly globalist-controlled ballot box.
