The Flushing Outhouse

http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/55958

Ray loves to tell stories about his childhood of long ago America - his eyes twinkle with excitement. He was a teen in rural West Virginia of 1950, carefree and happy. His parents’ farmhouse lacked indoor plumbing, not that it bothered the boys that much. They bathed every Saturday evening before church in the family washtub in the kitchen after the adults in the household.

Water was heated on the stovetop and everyone took their turns in the same soapy water, gradually turning into muddy brown. The metal tub was large enough to accommodate one person sitting in a crouched position. By the time the boys got to bathe, the water was dirty and lukewarm. The adage, “don’t’ throw the baby out with the bathwater” was certainly true.

It was a royal treat in summertime to wash in the creek that crossed the farm nearby. The boys learned to swim there, frolicked in their underwear, drank the water, and took baths upstream or downstream, wherever was most convenient at the moment. The creek was their refrigerator as well. In the shallows, they kept bottles of fresh, unpasteurized cow’s milk. In August, the creek kept watermelons cold.

It did not bother Ray that the outhouse was hanging over the creek upstream on stilts, dumping its contents in the water. When a summer deluge came, the tiny creek would swell to raging rapids, overflowing its banks, and floating the outhouse away. The local bridge, a tenth of a mile downstream, would stop the outhouse from its treacherous descent.

Ray’s dad and the boys would bring it back to its resting place, closer to the farmhouse, dragging it through sand and mud with sleds pulled by horses.

The interior was always a sandy, muddy mess and the cleanup with shovels and buckets took hours. Once the outhouse was resting again on its stilts, all cleaned up, nobody was too upset over the hard work they had just completed, but everyone bemoaned the loss of the Sears and Roebuck catalog, their free toilet paper.

Happy as coons in a corn field, the boys took turns swinging naked from the trees around the banks, dropping into a deeper hole, splashing in the swollen creek. Most became good swimmers by necessity, yet it was a miracle that nobody drowned.

The creek was truly the nature’s bounty in a time when people had to be creative to survive. Nobody knew much about modern conveniences nor cared. Ray’s family’s outhouse was the only “flush toilet” for miles around.

SEIU.org Cries Censorship Wolf

The Service Employees International Union, the Children’s Television Workshop (CTW), under the umbrella of SEIU.org have sent a letter on June 17, 2013, to their like-minded contributors who fund Democrat campaigns and socialist causes and organizations around the country.

The letter claims that PBS, the bastion of liberalism, has gone too far in their censorship of the film, “Citizen Koch,” a take on the much maligned conservative David Koch. Calling him the “Tea Party billionaire,” as if the Tea Party was a dirty word, the letter is asking supporters to sign a petition to PBS to air “Citizen Koch.”

It is apparently fine to silence the conservative opposition, using any methods possible, as long as the liberal end justifies the means. Compromising the integrity of public broadcasting should not be allowed, the letter says, unless of course, socialists are doing it.

Never mind that the MSM, including PBS, control what information is disseminated and the talking points of the current administration, and they have compromised the integrity of any broadcasting, including the taxpayer-funded PBS, long time ago.

MSM comrades have become a propaganda machine for the utopian virtues of socialism. Conservatives must read the press in the UK in order to find out what is going on in our own country. People turn to the Internet and real citizen-journalists who report the news accurately.

The SEIU letter states, “We believe that in a free society, our press and broadcasters should be strong and unafraid to challenge the powerful.” Most Americans believed so as well until the powerful IRS audited them or turned down their tax-exempt status requests based on their conservative, libertarian, or independent politics.

It is all right for SEIU to influence elections and to donate millions to candidates and organizations that promote liberalism. SEIU.org apparently does not think that Mr. Koch has the right to be a trustee and donor to PBS. SEIU.org also has a problem with Mr. Koch’s $23 million donation, yet hundreds of millions in donations from Big Labor and other socialist groups have been suppressing conservative writing and broadcasting with a vengeance.

“This is especially urgent because right now the Koch brothers are interested in taking over ten newspapers owned by the Tribune Company, including the Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune. If Koch dollars could influence PBS as much as they did, imagine how much damage they'll do to our daily papers.” I think those newspapers have damaged themselves. Nobody is interested in reading manufactured news and misrepresented data, the readership has dropped to record lows. Americans are starved for truth, accountability, and justice.

Signing the letter in typical communist fashion, “in solidarity,” the writer concludes, “PBS went too far. Tell them to stop the self-censorship and air the documentary Citizen Koch.”

SEIU.org is distressed that “public television pulled funding for Citizen Koch,” a documentary “on the restricting and destructive role of money in politics,” allegedly produced by “Academy Award-nominated filmmakers.” If the documentary is so worthy of watching and so groundbreaking, why don’t they raise private money and venues? That is how free competition works.

I have met David Koch – he is patriotic and cares deeply about our country, truth, and the preservation of our Constitution. I have seen him personally attacked and intimidated by Big Labor goons when he tried to attend a convention in D.C., exercising his freedom of speech and assembly. The police did not do much to stop the menacing protesters who became violent.

The Bilderbergs 2013 Meeting over "Africa's Challenges"

The Bilderbergs have met June 6-9, 2013 at the Grove Hotel in Watford. The secretive society of ministers, CEOs, financiers, heads of state, journalists, and politicians are hiding behind the Great Wall of Watford, “a concrete-and-wire security fence encircling the hotel.” http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/jun/05/bilderberg-2013-goldman-sachs-watford

Shell, BP, Goldman’s Sachs, Google, and Amazon chairpersons, vice-chairmen, and directors, Christine Lagarde of the International Monetary Fund, and other invitees were protected by anti-terrorism zones, identity checkpoints, and no-parking signs in the vicinity of the venue.

The locals showed little concern about the content of the conference or the fact that elite powers shape the world without any input from the global masses whose lives are fundamentally altered by the decisions of a few billionaires interested only in their power, control, and financial gain.

The Bilderberg summit was attended by 140 people from 21 countries and included ” the head of the IMF, the president and a vice-president of the European Commission, the prime minister of Holland, a dozen other ministers, any number of transnational CEOs and bank bosses, the chairmen of the Swiss and Dutch national banks, and our own chancellor of the exchequer.”

Sadly, it is a summit of policy discussions for the entire planet yet it does not have the blessing, knowledge, or benefit of the voters/taxpayers who will be affected by these secret discussions, later translated into national and international policies.

The residents were not concerned about the globalist agenda; on the contrary, they were worried about a strip of grass alongside A41 that could have been disturbed by parked vehicles. They relaxed after being told that the conference was “cost-neutral” to Hertfordshire.

The Bilderberg Association, registered as a UK charity, had received donations from Goldman Sachs and BP to defray the police costs and any damages. If the high fence failed, the Herts police were eager to keep any inquisitive journalists away from the hotel.

The MSM in the U.S. ignores the Bilderbergs but European newspapers are exposing more and more of the meetings of the most influential elites who hide behind closed doors to discuss the future of the world. The 59-year old society’s main topic this time was “Africa’s Challenges.” The entire guest list and additional topics of discussion were published by the Telegraph. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/10102170/Bilderberg-Group-2013-guest-list-and-agenda.html

Was it coincidental that the liberal-touted “Arab Spring” turned into an “Arab Winter” that is destabilizing the entire Middle East and North Africa, allowing the Muslim Brotherhood to take over, and Sharia Law to become the law of the land? Was it coincidental that all Muslim-dominated countries are now in turmoil and civil war, making strides toward that long-sought after caliphate?

Maybe the shale boom had distressed and inconvenienced OPEC members. Perhaps global elites are ready to address the injustice in Darfur and the piracy in Somalia. Maybe they discussed the tyrannical third world countries in Africa that keep populations poor, uneducated, hungry, and driven off ancestral lands. Maybe they addressed the atrocious treatment of women, the rapes, murders, and genital mutilations in predominantly Muslim countries in Africa.

It is not coincidental that the euro zone is now an “economic prison, with Germany as the jailer, and the common currency as the bars,” as Ross Douthat of the New York Times so aptly described it.

Global elites influenced the Cyprus lawmakers to steal $17.1 billion of savings deposits from hapless depositors who were so brainwashed and bribed into the liberal/socialist democratic consensus nonsense that they can no longer see how the elites, via government mismanagement, manipulate the population into blind compliance and austerity measures.

Global elites, the “puppet masters,” decide monetary policy, fiscal policy, shape conflicts, and determine the size of the military industrial complex, and voting outcomes, choosing candidates who eventually become presidents and/or prime ministers.

Is it coincidental that the “Post-2015 Development Agenda” report, outlining the five transformational shifts, applicable to both developed and developing countries, including a new Global Partnership, as a single, universal agenda based on the vision of the elites at the U.N., was just released on May 30, 2013? This “Post-2015 Development Agenda” is the new version of U.N.’s 1992 Agenda 21 transformation of the globe based on Sustainable Development, an alarmist consensus vision concocted to “save” a declining planet plagued by manufactured man-made global warming.

Is it coincidental that America has lost 40-50 percent of its wealth, redistributed aggressively in the last five years in the on-going effort to fundamentally transform our society into the vision of our leftist administration empowered by globalists?

In light of the recent revelations from the NSA data collection, Maxine Waters’ statement from February 3, 2013 on the Roland Martin Show, should give us pause. “Some people are missing something here. The President has put in place an organization that contains the kind of database that no one has ever seen before in life. That’s going to be very, very powerful. That database will have information about everything, on every individual in ways that’s never been done before.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIA1lQBqH1s

It is troublesome when public officials from various countries, still in office, attend the secret Bilderberg meetings without any public disclosure. The shadow global government is tightening its grip.
