"GlowBull Warming" and the Reindeer

In God We Trust, all others bring data.”  - Motto of the Apollo team

Global warming is not going away. Vice President Al Gore’s infamous words, “The planet has a fever,” referring to global warming, has been met many times with the planet’s natural and cyclical climate change response of frigid temperatures, ice, and snow.
A term has been coined, the “Gore effect,” reflecting the 2004 event when a global warming rally held by VP Al Gore was met by bitter cold weather. And it repeated in Australia in 2006. Mother Nature prepared snow and frigid weather in 2013 for global warming protesters in D.C. Environmental activists at Yale attempted to hold a global warming rally in 2015, but had to cancel due to “unfavorable weather conditions and other logistical issues.”

Members of the “Keep It in the Ground” anti-fracking activist group in Denver, Colorado were met this week with temperatures in the low twenties during their protest against fossil fuel drilling on public lands. Randy Hildreth wrote, “While it is clear that the national activist groups behind these efforts are not abandoning their goal to ban fracking, they picked a day to protest the use of fossil fuels when most Coloradoans are likely more thankful than ever for the affordable energy provided by domestic energy development.” https://energyindepth.org/mtn-states/bitter-cold-freezes-out-anti-fossil-fuel-protest/

Reducing one’s carbon footprint by taking all energy savings steps possible, solar panels, geothermal energy heating and cooling, low energy bulbs, caulking, turning the thermostat down, reducing consumption in general, has been an issue raised and preached by the climate change guru Al Gore.

According to a recent article, citing data from Tennessee Center for Policy Research and the Energy Information Administration, the Gore residence uses “an average of 17,768 kWh per month – 1,638 kWh more energy per month than before the renovations. By comparison, the average American household consumes 11,040 kWh in an entire year, according to the Energy Information Administration.” http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/2153179/Al-Gores-electricity-bill-goes-through-the-insulated-roof.html

Good stewardship of soil, air, and water, and pollution reduction and mitigation are great ideas and we support them. Cleaning up the Ganges, the holy river, before it dumps trillions of cubic meters of trash and raw sewage into the ocean, would be a good start. Conservation of natural resources is very important and humans everywhere agree. http://www.smh.com.au/national/the-ganges-holy-river-from-hell-20140806-100xz9.html

But the climate change industry based on reduction of man-made CO2, the gas of plant life, is a very profitable ruse worth trillions of dollars for global elites. Not giving up on the climate change fear-mongering effort, the Oscar winning author of “An Inconvenient Truth,” has announced the sequel to his documentary which will debut at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2016/dec/09/al-gore-inconvenient-truth-sequel-sundance

Engaging the church to influence people into believing that global warming is real, the activist Pope Francis announced in September that “global warming is a sin and man can atone by recycling and carpooling,” by stopping deforestation, not polluting rivers, protecting the soil, not destroying the bio diversity of the planet, as if reading a canned U.N. Agenda 2030 script. http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2016/09/01/pope-francis-global-warming-sin-man-can-atone-recycling-car-pooling/

The Vatican’s Pontifical Academy of Sciences, the advisor to the Pope, has concluded that “global climate change is real and is caused, at least in significant part, by human activity.” Catholic.org stated in a recent post that “new priests [are] to learn about global warming as part of formation.” Why would a priest who is not a scientist need to learn about alleged global warming? “The established community of experts agrees with frightful consensus that the planet is warming because of human activity. And while nature may play a role in the natural heating of the planet, it is known that the Earth’s temperature is dynamic, humans are clearly responsible for much of the present warming.” And the public’s opinion is being manipulated by climate change skeptics on the payroll of the fossil fuel industry. “The fossil fuel industry funds nearly all of the climate change skeptics, going so far as to commission questionable studies, to financing think tanks, and even paying individual bloggers.” http://www.catholic.org/news/green/story.php?id=72433

According to this Catholic blog, the church has a duty to care for people and the environment. And I thought that the church’s mission was to care for the salvation of our souls, not for environmental stewardship, a concept pushed by U.N.’s Agenda 2030.

The blog continues in an Armageddon manner, “The Earth’s temperatures are spiking faster than at any time in history. The speed of the warming is so great, it is fueling extinctions and other crisis. Natural selection, evolution, and adaptation cannot keep up with the pace of rapid change.”

And the Vatican said, because of the “emerging planetary crisis” on the “ecological question,” all Christians need an “ecological conversion.” All future priests will then become advocates of this ecological question called global warming, “promoters of an appropriate care for everything connected to the protection of creation….”

Taken from the Vatican’s 91-page document, “The Gift of the Priestly Vocation,” http://www.clerus.va/content/dam/clerus/Ratio%20Fundamentalis/The%20Gift%20of%20the%20Priestly%20Vocation.pdf Eric Worrall quotes in his blog the passage describing the role of the new priest in the global warming proselytization of his flock. https://wattsupwiththat.com/2016/12/10/catholic-church-new-priests-will-be-expected-to-preach-global-warming/

Dr. Ken Haapala, President of Science and Environmental Policy Project, discussed in this week’s publication the Charney Report of 1979 to the National Research Council. CO2 and greenhouse gases warm up the atmosphere but are generally beneficial – CO2 is the gas of plant life. Atmospheric water vapor was proposed by global climate modelers as a potential second cause of global warming.

Comprehensive and independent data of atmospheric temperatures gathered from weather balloons are now available, dating back to December 1978. These data reveal that, “In general, the models overestimated atmospheric warming by 2.5 times and by 3 times over the tropics, where the water vapor warming should be more pronounced.” http://www.sepp.org/twtwfiles/2016/TWTW12-10-16.pdf

Global warming “consensus” is not real science and global climate computer models are questionable. Scientists should use and compare reliable sources of information, independently and correctly gathered data, valid studies over long periods of time, and accurate measurements, not manufactured or manipulated statistics to fit the already-decided narrative and conclusion.

Haapala believes that the EPA did not produce data to justify the finding that “greenhouse gas emissions endanger human health and welfare, … instead relied on three lines of evidence: 1) understanding of the physics of greenhouse gases; 2) a questionable study that late twentieth century warming was unusual; and 3) global climate models. The evidence is woefully incomplete.”

Additionally, “any warming of the surface is not the same as a warming of the atmosphere, and can be highly influenced by other human activities such as change in land use, change in instrument locations, and change in instrument types.”

The global warming advocates told us that polar bears were disappearing due to global warming; children were terrified in schools; solitary polar bears were depicted floating on tiny melting ice floes even though polar bears are very good long distance swimmers. It turned out that their numbers actually increased five-fold.

A study lead by Steve Albon of the James Hutton Institute in Scotland found that “over the past 16 years, the weight of adult reindeer in Svalbard in the Norwegian Arctic has dropped by 12 percent, likely due to global warming.” AFP quoted Steve Albon, “Twelve percent may not sound very much, but given how important body weight is to reproduction and survival, it’s potentially huge.” https://www.yahoo.com/news/reindeer-shrinking-warming-threatens-xmas-icon-000845791.html

But the study published in August 2016 actually stated that “The cumulative effects of climate warming on herbivore vital rates and population dynamics are hard to predict, given that the expected effects differ between seasons. … We explored the causes and consequences of variation in body mass of wild female Svalbard reindeer (Rangifer tarandus platyrhynchus) from 1994 to 2015, a period of marked climate warming.” http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gcb.13435/full

Climate, weather, climate warming, global warming, terms are interchangeable for the general public who peruse headlines in a hurry or listen to fake-news MSM to interpret the news for them. We can now scare children that Santa Claus may not have enough reindeer at Christmas as they are threatened by global warming. https://www.yahoo.com/news/reindeer-shrinking-warming-threatens-xmas-icon-000845791.html

Blaming humans for the natural changes and variations in climate over the millennia, to the exclusion of all other variables such as solar flares, underwater volcanic activity, and oceanic currents, is not real science. And priests are no experts in climatology, they are spiritual guides.

Louisiana Flood of 2016 and the Yangtze River Flood of 1931 Not Caused by Climate Change

Photo: Wikipedia
The severe flooding in Louisiana, the result of torrential rain and the location of Baton Rouge 56 ft. above sea level, contributed to the destruction of 40,000 homes. More than 30,000 people and 1,000 pets had to be rescued.

The New York Times  published a story immediately, “Flooding in the South Looks a Lot Like Climate Change,” blaming the flood on the global warming hoax created by the very profitable climate change industry.

Al Gore said, “These kinds of record downpours – that’s one of the manifestations of the climate crisis.”  The community of Watson had a record 31.39 inches of rain during the downpour. http://fuelfix.com/blog/2016/08/16/al-gore-houston-louisiana-floods-exacerbated-by-climate-change/

Nicolas Loris points to two studies by climatologists Patrick Michaels and Paul Knappenberger that seem to contradict Al Gore and the New York Times. In the Daily Signal, Loris quoted Chip Knappenberger, “Lower Louisiana is a climatologically prime location for massive precipitation amounts.”  http://dailysignal.com/2016/08/17/the-facts-show-louisianas-floods-not-caused-by-man-made-climate-change/?utm_source=TDS_Email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=MorningBell&mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiTWpkbU1tVmtZekZqT1RkaiIsInQiOiJPUysySWxTWEgxN082M1lORWV1UjZVcGRCRW9PTFZuUWlHUVlSazhqTEhwZE1pTUliNnRxMzFhaWpPSTNLMWNIWnNwc29BaDd1cnpyQm1HNjNrM2VtK0xFSXNFYmRIWGhaT1J4b1ZcL09sN0k9In0%3D

Patrick Michael’s and Chip Knappenberger’s paper reported, ”Our findings indicate that the climate variability of both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans can exert a large control on the precipitation frequency and magnitude over the contiguous USA.” http://www.cato.org/blog/you-ought-have-look-natural-climate-variability

In a second paper, by a research team at NOAA/GFDL, Karin van der Wiel et al, who analyzed “climate model projections and observed trends in heavy precipitation events across the United States,” wrote, “Finally, the observed record and historical model experiments were used to investigate changes in the recent past. In part because of large intrinsic variability, no evidence was found for changes in extreme precipitation attributable to climate change in the available observed record.” http://journals.ametsoc.org/doi/abs/10.1175/JCLI-D-16-0307.1

Iman Malakpour and Gabrielle Villarini, researchers at the University of Iowa, wrote about their study,  Analysis of changes in the magnitude, frequency, and seasonality of heavy precipitation over the contiguous USA, that “over the last 65 years, the stronger storms are not getting stronger, but a larger number of heavy precipitation events have been observed. The annual maximum precipitation and annual frequency of heavy precipitation reveal a marked seasonality over the contiguous USA.” http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00704-016-1881-z

Knappenberger mentioned the NOAA study of June 1978 when the main stream media focused then on the next ice age and global cooling, not global warming.  The 100-page document described the various levels of tropical storm precipitation, moisture, and rainfall around the country. http://www.nws.noaa.gov/oh/hdsc/PMP_documents/HMR51.pdf

Even the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reported, “In summary, there continues to be a lack of evidence and thus low confidence regarding the sign of trend in the magnitude and/or frequency of floods on a global scale.” http://www.climatechange2013.org/images/report/WG1AR5_Chapter02_FINAL.pdf

But before Al Gore’s global warming movie and the profitable global climate change industry, there was the flood of August 18, 1931, when the Yangtze River peaked and killed 3.7 million people “directly and indirectly over the next several months,” as reported by the History Channel in 2009.

In April 1931 China the rainfall was above average. Torrential rains in July exacerbated the previous conditions and the Yangtze River flooded a 500-square mile area. Waters continued to rise in August as more rain fell and flooded the rice fields, destroying the crop. The population of the adjoining cities who depended on the rice crop starved to death or died from typhoid and dysentery from the polluted river, “perhaps the worst natural disaster of the 20th century.”

This Chinese region is densely populated and thus people depend on the Yangtze River for water for personal and farming needs. Millions died from starvation and disease simply because flood-control measures were not enforced.  The Yangtze River “carries large amount of sediment, which accumulates in certain areas of the river and must be cleared regularly, However, with much of the area’s resources devoted to civil war at the time, the river was neglected.” http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/yangtze-river-peaks-in-china

The facts that natural disasters occur for reasons other than global warming, such as oceanic currents and underwater volcanic eruptions, are inconvenient details for the environmental/green growth agenda.

Clexit and the "Parasitical" Climate Change Industry

“The big threat to the planet is people: there are too many, doing too well economically, and burning too much oil.”    -  Sir James Lovelock, BBC Interview

Photo taken in the Nashville Airport
Ileana Johnson October 2015
Viv Forbes, in a media release on August 1, 2016, announced the founding of Clexit, Climate Exit, by“over 60 well-informed science, business and economic leaders from 16 countries.”

Forbes announced in his press release that ratification of the Paris accord will suppress the developed world with “pointless carbon taxes and costly climate and energy policies” that have no rational basis and are based on consensus. Such green and destructive polices are destroying real industries while “enriching the huge and parasitical climate-change industry that thrives on bureaucracy, misdirected government research, law books of costly regulations, never-ending conferences and subsidies for promoters of the failing technologies of renewable energy.”

He continues that if the EU ratified the Paris accord, it will spell the end of low-cost hydrocarbon electricity and transportation and the “end of manufacturing, processing and refining industries.” Developing countries will be denied low-cost energy and be forced to continue their dependency on “international handouts.”

“Perhaps the most insidious feature of the UN climate plan is the ‘Green Climate Fund’. Under this scheme, selected nations (“The rich”) are marked to pour billions of dollars into a green slush fund. The funds will then be used to bribe other countries (“developing and emerging nations”) into adopting silly green energy policies.” http://clexit.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/clexit.pdf

Bloomberg reported that “Environmentalists who once championed biofuels as a way to cut pollution are now turning against a U.S. program that puts renewable fuels in cars, citing higher-than-expected carbon dioxide emission and reduced wildlife habitat.”
http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-07-27/as-corn-devours-u-s-prairies-greens-reconsider-biofuel-mandate

Car manufacturers announced that they are not standing behind warranties if car owners use the EPA approved E15 (15% ethanol) fuel in their cars. http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2011/07/warranties-void-on-cars-burning-e15-say-automakers/index.htm

Klaus Kaiser, a professional scientist with a Ph.D. in chemistry and an extensive resume in research, wrote recently that the 2004 report, “Growing Energy,” claiming that “biofuels can clean up the environment,” is not true.” “Instead,” Kaiser wrote, “the few studies by independent investigators all showed the opposite to be true. Between sowing and reaping the harvest, converting, distilling, and distributing the product(s), no energy was ‘saved,’ the environment was not ‘cleaned up’ but rather destroyed, and the economy did not improve either.” Kaiser calls the biofuel claims a “boondoggle and a Biofuel Curse.” http://fairfaxfreecitizen.com/2016/08/03/sanity-may-prevail-after-all/

Despite scientific evidence to the contrary, this administration has made global warming/climate change a priority, seen as a biggest threat facing the nation. The administration wants to “fill U.S. roadways with electric vehicles.” It also ruled that “greenhouse gas emissions from aircraft endanger human health and welfare.” Another goal is to “phase out super-polluting HFCs (hydro-fluorocarbons), chemicals in refrigerants and other industrial substances that warm the climate.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/energy-environment/wp/2016/08/02/from-now-on-every-government-agency-will-have-to-consider-climate-change/?utm_term=.33f6731f2a62

On August 2, 2016, the White House Council on Environmental Quality released “final guidance on considering climate change in environmental reviews.” The ‘guidance’ is telling federal agencies that they must quantify the impacts of their actions on climate change when they produce greenhouse gas emissions. Their actions must be spelled out in the NEPA reviews. https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2016/08/02/fact-sheet-white-house-council-environmental-quality-releases-final

NEPA is the 1969 law, the National Environmental Policy Act, which requires federal agencies to take into account and disclose environmental consequences of their activities such as permits to drill on public lands, mining, building roads, bridges, etc. Agencies are asked to look at alternatives in order “to mitigate the impacts of climate change.” The administration stated that in 2015 the federal government penned 563 such NEPA reports. https://www.fws.gov/r9esnepa/RelatedLegislativeAuthorities/nepa1969.PDF

NEPA was originally intended to “encourage productive and enjoyable harmony between man and his environment; to promote efforts which will prevent or eliminate damage to the environment and biosphere and stimulate the health and welfare of man; to enrich the understanding of the ecological systems and natural resources important to the Nation; and to establish a Council on Environmental Quality” and not to restrict human activities through such severe, often draconian rules and regulations.

In the U.S. Eastern District Court of California, a judge found that John Duarte, a farmer, “plowed wetlands, four to six inches deep, and therefore violated the Clean Water Act. According to the Jefferson Policy Journal, the Court wrote, “In sum, soil is a pollutant. And here, plaintiffs instructed [a contractor] to till and loosen soil on the property. Plowing caused … the material in this case soil, to move horizontally, creating furrows and ridges. This movement of the soil resulted in its being redeposited into waters of the United States at least in areas of the wetlands as delineated.” http://www.jeffersonpolicyjournal.com/court-rules-soil-is-a-pollutant/
According to the Congressional Research Service, President Obama’s major goal is to reduce U.S. emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs). He pledged at a conference in Copenhagen in 2009 that U.S. will reduce emissions of GHGs 17 percent by 2020 below 2005 levels and 80 percent by 2050. In November 2014 he set a new goal, 26-28 percent by 2025, while China announced its emissions to peak by 2030.

According to the Congressional Research Service report, “EPA’s Clean Power Plan for Existing Power Plants: Frequently Asked Questions,” (R44341, June 15, 2016), “President Obama made the pledge in the context of U.S. commitments under a [1992] international treaty, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). http://unfccc.int/resource/docs/convkp/conveng.pdf

The 1992 U.N. Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro produced three documents:

-          The Framework  Convention on Climate Change

-          The Convention on Biological Diversity

-          Agenda 21 (which has now morphed into Agenda 2030)

President George H. W. Bush signed the Framework Convention on Climate Change and Agenda 21 but refused to sign the Convention on Biological Diversity. According to the late Henry Lamb, “The Convention on Biological Diversity was not ratified, but because the Clinton administration believed so strongly in its provisions, the treaty recommendations were implemented administratively.”

Agenda 21 is not a treaty but a “soft law” document which “means that its recommendations are not legally binding, but nations that endorsed the document are morally obligated to implement them,” according to the United Nations. Agenda 21 and its sister on steroids, Agenda 2030, have never been debated or adopted in Congress but its provisions, including its lynchpin, Sustainable Development, have been included in legislation and administratively through “visioning grants” at the state and local levels thanks to non-governmental organizations’ (NGOs) constant brainwashing around the globe.

The Obama administration also released a “Climate Action Plan and directed the EPA to propose standards for ‘carbon pollution’ [carbon dioxide, the gas of plant life] from power plants by June 2014 and to finalize the standards a year later.” The rule, however, is under ongoing litigation initiated by several states and other entities who have challenged the rule. On February 9, 2016, the Supreme Court stayed the rule for the duration of the litigation.  The EPA claims that it has the authority for such a rule in Section 111(d) of the Clean Air Act. http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/misc/R44341.pdf

Our Secretary of State, John Kerry, confessed at the COP-21 climate conference in Paris that emissions cuts by U.S. and other developed nations will make no difference in the global climate.

“The fact is that even if every American citizen biked to work, carpooled to school, used only solar panels to power their homes, if we each planted a dozen trees, if we somehow eliminated all of our domestic greenhouse gas emissions, guess what – that still wouldn’t be enough to offset the carbon pollution coming from the rest of the world.

If all the industrial nations went down to zero emissions—remember what I just said, all the industrial emission went down to zero emissions—it wouldn’t be enough, not when more than 65 percent of the world’s carbon pollution comes from the developing world.”http://www.globalclimatescam.com/cop21/why-bother-john-kerry-admits-american-co2-cuts-would-be-pointless/

Globalism through U.N.'s Agenda 21, Agenda 2030, and Vision 2050

Vision 2050 Photo: Bing
Four years ago, a man was convicted of collecting rainwater and snow runoff on his property and served a 30-day jail sentence in Medford, Oregon, while the developing world is trashing their environment at alarming rates, suffocating waterways, rivers, and lakes with trash and refuse. http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/

A meeting in Vienna aimed to amend the 1987 Montreal Protocol to phase out hydrofluorocarbons from air conditioners, refrigerators, and inhalers. John Kerry said that “air conditioners and refrigerators are as big of a threat to life as the threat of terrorism posed by groups like the Islamic State.” He believes that “It’s hard for some people to grasp it, but what we, you, are doing here right now is of equal importance because it has the ability to literally save life on the planet itself.”  http://freebeacon.com/national-security/kerry-air-conditioners-worse-isis/

The climate change industry claimed that HFC, a coolant, is thousands of times more potent than CO2, the gas of plant life.  Kerry added that “the increase in HFCs has led to the trend of global climate change.”

There used to be a saying when I was growing up in Romania that elites were going to tax the population so much that they would eventually tax rain water. Apparently H.G. 1591/2002 requires that rain water which drains in the sewer system must be calculated by multiplying the annual quantity of rain water with the total surface of buildings finished and unfinished as declared by each customer and then taxed accordingly.

As the bills seem to be arbitrary, confused customers were asking by which method various areas were taxed, by lottery, and who is actually measuring the rain fall, and how much pluvial water evaporates before it reaches the drains. http://superioraction.com/stiati-ca-platiti-taxa-pe-apa-de-ploaie/

According to Nathan Mehrens, the “EPA has entered into a series of ‘memoranda of understanding’ (MOU) with the United Nations and various foreign governments” with the idea of protecting the environment “while promoting economic growth and social development, promoting the role of the private sector in development, and encouraging social inclusion, women’s advancement, and environmental justice.http://netrightdaily.com/2016/07/epa-enters-into-mou-with-un-foreign-governments/

All these seemingly isolated moves have common denominators the insane manufactured anthropogenic global warming claim and global climate change claim by the United Nation. The tin pot dictators at the U.N. are only interested in redistribution of wealth, population control, the buildup of megacities, and global governance under the U.N. aegis.

Vincent Callebaut
2050 Parisian Vision

How would they build these mega regions, mega cities? The plans are already underway in the form of destroying the American suburbs, the family, the way we purchase and own homes and apartments, and by depopulating rural areas.

U.N. Agenda 21 has morphed into Agenda 2030 and now into Vision 2050, a plan to force 9 billion people to live by the globalists prescription of “living well and within the planet’s resources.”

Vision 2050 report is “a consensus piece that was compiled by 29 leading global companies from 14 industries and is the result of 18-month long combined efforts between CEOs and experts, and dialogues with more than 200 companies and external stakeholders in some 20 countries.” In simple translation, global companies and CEOs are going to dictate to all of us how we are supposed to live by 2050, no free choices there.

These experts and CEOs have decided for you what constitutes “global sustainability” without consulting you, and have determined their vision for the planet. The “must haves” include, as stated on their website:

  • Incorporating the costs of externalities, starting with carbon, ecosystem services and water, into the structure of the marketplace;

  • Doubling agricultural output without increasing the amount of land or water used;

  • Halting deforestation and increasing yields from planted forests;

  • Halving carbon emissions worldwide (based on 2005 levels) by 2050 through a shift to low-carbon energy systems;

  • Improved demand-side energy efficiency, and providing universal access to low-carbon mobility.

What is exactly “low-carbon mobility?” A quick search yields no exact definition but many projects with the word “transform” and “sustainable development” attempt to describe what low-carbon mobility would entail.

Progressives love to travel and visit other cities but would like to do it by banning cars and promoting walking, cycling and public transportation as a healthier and safer alternative, protecting pedestrians and cyclists from cars. No mention is made of who would protect pedestrians from nuisance cyclists.

According to progressives, who seem to prefer their Beamers to go to work, cities that were designed before the introduction of cars are more compact and attractive to walk and cycle in. In other words, cramming as many people in a city is desirable over spreading them in suburbia. “Older cities are more human than the suburbs and cities built after World War II.” We need the “human scale experience,” walking and biking for your health and to reduce the “carbon footprint.”

So, this is how your city will be transformed into a “low-carbon mobility city.” You may be stuck in your neighborhood your entire life like a rat in a maze and your world may encompass a very small radius of travel, but, you will be saving the planet from a non-existent climate change Armageddon, a lame threat greatly benefitting the globalist elites who jet in style around the world in their personal gas guzzlers, impervious to air pollution.

“With 9 billion people on the planet competing for a limited supply of natural resources, the definition of “living well” will also have to shift.  Instead of a utopian dream, living well in 2050 means that all people have access to and the ability to afford education, healthcare, mobility, the basics of food, water, energy and shelter, and consumer goods. It also means living within the limits of the planet itself.” http://www.wbcsd.org/vision2050.aspx

If it’s not the wetlands, job-destroying EPA regulations, water use controls, electricity use control, rain water, raw milk, farmers prevented from growing their own food, ordinary Americans growing their own gardens, people living off the grid, humans forced to live in tiny homes whose furniture must be assembled and disassembled every day to make room to move around, choices of transportation,  Bureau of Land Management assault on farmers, rules and regulations that choke entire industries and particularly the coal industry, protecting a tiny species of delta smelt at the expense of growing food for millions, the globalist agenda will create new regulations to destroy the source of food and livelihood of millions and thus control the population. http://osnetdaily.com/2014/08/america-2050-the-agenda-21-depopulation-of-rural-areas-has-begun/

According to Frederick Kempe, President and CEO of Atlantic Council, the “unprecedented change” will drive “60 percent of the world’s population to mega-cities by 2030, and competition for food, water, and energy resources could increase the possibilities of violent conflict.” Experts say, “The United States must urgently address its domestic economic and political dysfunctions.”

The Atlantic Council, a think-tank, wrote a 57-page report, “Envisioning 2030: U.S. Leadership in a Post-Western World,” to “help prepare the Obama Administration and its global partners for unprecedented change.” (http://www.acus.org/publication/envisioning-2030-us-strategy-post-western-world)

The report predicts a future of “vast economic and political volatility, environmental catastrophe, and conflicting, inward-looking nationalisms that would be unlike any period that the United States has seen before.”  “President Obama will be setting the tone and direction for U.S. policy in a post-Western world.” (Atlantic Council, Executive Summary, p. 5)

As the powers that be are actively and speedily working to affect this outcome, the global order champions “predict” that wealth will shift from the west to the east.

Presidential candidate and highly successful businessman Donald Trump said it best; we should be concentrating on Americanism, not globalism.

Water and the Climate Change Industry

The water you drink today has likely been around in one form or another since dinosaurs roamed the Earth, hundreds of millions of years ago.” – National Geographic

“Water which is too pure has no fish.” - Anonymous

Water is life and it is recyclable, covering 70 percent of our planet; 2.5 percent is fresh water and “only 1 percent is easily accessible, the rest is trapped in glaciers and snowfields.” National Geographic noted that freshwater is in crisis because levels have remained the same over millennia but the human population has exploded to seven billion and thus water use based on population size and animal use is unsustainable. http://environment.nationalgeographic.com/environment/freshwater/freshwater-crisis/

The climate change industry is growing exponentially, shaped and driven by U.N.’s Agenda 2030, relentlessly introduced, reintroduced, renamed, and first signed by 178 nations in 1992 as Agenda 21. This agenda is driven not by the “saving the planet” narrative, but by global social engineering control and redistribution of wealth to third world nations.

The lynchpin of the now globally-adopted Agenda 2030 is sustainability everything disguised as smart growth/green growth. Everything we do in the civilized world has been declared unsustainable by the global elites who control this climate change industry scam worth trillions of dollars.

To please elitist billionaires and environmentalists around the world, we must fundamentally change according to their plans of de-developing society and regressing to a more primitive lifestyle. They are now regulators of water use, electricity production and use, fossil fuel exploration and use, mining, agriculture, education, medical care, and land use, which will enable them to control the weather and the climate by taxing us into oblivion.

U.N. declared 2013 the International Year of Water Cooperation. They celebrated The World Water Day on March 22, 2014 and the world toilet day on November 19 to remind us that 2.5 billion people have no sanitation and 780 million people do not have access to clean water. http://www.unwater.org/water-cooperation-2013/en/

U.N. alleges that our civilization and standard of living pollute river basins and eating meat and dairy places undue stress on water because those industries use more water to operate.

Some African countries cannot provide clean water to their population yet they are discouraged to produce electricity with “dirty” fossil fuels. Without fossil fuels and electricity, clean water cannot be supplied in sufficient quantities thus water-borne diseases are rampant.

Desalination is frowned upon by environmentalists because it is much more expensive to produce than conventional ways of providing fresh water. Israel that is successfully and relatively inexpensively providing 40% of its water supply from desalination.

According to discovery.com, there are over 15,000 desalination plants around the world that convert ocean water into drinking water either by distillation or reverse osmosis. Environmentalists complain that both processes use too much electricity. Distillation involves boiling the sea water, capturing the steam, separating it into cooling tanks, which then condense the steam into fresh water. Reverse osmosis is filtration that removes the salt and minerals from the water. The brine left behind is usually piped back into the ocean.

Mike Mickley wrote in “US Municipal Desalination Plants: Number, Types, Location, Sizes, and Concentrate Management Practices” that 324 plants were built since 1971 in the United States, capable of producing 25,000 gallons of fresh water per day. The Carlsbad desalination plant in San Diego, California is slated for completion in 2016 and will be capable of producing 50 million gallons of fresh water per day, providing 7 percent of the San Diego region’s supply needs.

United Nations bemoans the fact that “85% of the world’s population lives in the driest half of the planet.” The eventual U.N. planned solution will be social engineering in the form of massive population movement from these arid areas to places like Europe and the United States where the rural density per capita is quite low.

IPCC “predicts with high confidence that water stress will increase in central and southern Europe and, that by the 2070s, the number of people affected will rise from 28 million to 44 million. Summer flows are likely to drop by up to 80 % in southern Europe and some part of central and Eastern Europe. Europe’s hydropower potential is expected to drop by an average of 6%, but rise by 20-50% around the Mediterranean by 2070.” (Alcamo et al., 2007)

Data from the World Bank was cited in 2010 which estimated the cost of a yet to be seen 2 degree Celsius rise in global temperatures to be $70-100 billion per year between 2020 and 2050. Of this cost, anywhere from $13.7-19.2 billion will be water-related. http://www.unwater.org/water-cooperation-2013/water-cooperation/facts-and-figures/en/

Elitists say that, if global population would be allowed to reach the current lifestyle of the average European or North American, 3.5 planets Earth would be needed for sustainability.  That is why population control by any means is considered important. Projections predict 2-3 billion people over the next 40 years. This growth will certainly not come from the senescent white Europeans and North Americans but from third world countries.

As Tom DeWeese wrote in his report, “Sustainablists work to keep these nations from developing or increasing energy use, thereby keeping them poor. Green regulations stop the building of infrastructure. They panic at the idea of increased energy use in developing nations. Instead of working to solve the real problems – the root of poverty - they exploit the excuse of over population and advocate enforcing polices to drastically reduce populations. China’s brutal one child policy of forced abortions and sterilization has become their model.”

How many people does the United Nations believe should inhabit our planet? “A reasonable estimate for an industrialized world society at the present North American material standard of living would be 1 billion. At a more frugal European standard of living, 2 to 3 billion would be possible.” United Nations Global Biodiversity Assessment. https://deweesereport.com/2016/05/17/six-issues-that-are-agenda-21/?mc_cid=040d1ca29b&mc_eid=371fc3eeb1

The fact that we have periods of drought and rainy seasons escapes the “sustainablists” narrative. But, we must still use our water resources responsibly. Do we need to have daddy government control water consumption and recreation via smart water meters and other regulations?

Even though we’ve had 21 consecutive days of non-stop rain, our water bill contained a glossy which stated the necessity to control irrigation via a recommended irrigation schedule. Odd number addresses could water on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Even number addresses could water on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. And businesses could water on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Installing rain sensors and soil moisture detectors to avoid unnecessary irrigation and further reduce stress on the water system was recommended so that our Service Authority could maintain adequate water pressure in our neighborhood.

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) reported that 170,000 public drinking water systems in the country serve 264 million people, transporting 13 percent of the total water withdrawn from the U.S. surface and subterranean sources to residential and commercial buildings via 1 million miles of water main pipe that are deep in the ground and over 100 years old.” The cost of replacing these pipes is $1 trillion and will be passed on to the consumers. http://www.truth-out.org/news/item/30724-exclusive-dispatch-private-water-industry-says-water-bills-have-to-go-up

A USA Today survey of 100 municipalities found that “residential water bills in at least one in four places have doubled in the past 12 years.” http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2012/09/27/rising-water-rates/1595651/

Some states fine and jail homeowners who collect rainwater. Even a rain puddle is regulated in other places. In California’s San Joaquin Valley, protecting the delta smelt is more important than irrigating crops that feed millions of Americans.

The voters in Oregon tired of their government’s overt attempt to control their water and land and said no to Nestlé. They rallied and defeated Nestlé’s attempt to privatize their water.

“The issue that brought conservatives and progressives together in this way was clear-cut: keeping Nestlé Waters North America from building a water bottling plant and extracting over 118 million gallons annually from a spring in a small, rural community 45 miles east of Portland.”

Americans drink a lot of expensive bottled water, often just filtered tap water, over 10 billion gallons in 2013. With revenue of $12.3 billion in 2013 and Americans spending $18.2 billion on bottled water in 2014, there is a cash cow in that industry which the International Bottled Water Association is gladly representing. http://www.truth-out.org/news/item/36129-our-water-our-future-voters-in-oregon-defeat-nestle-s-attempt-to-privatize-their-water

Progressives and the U.N. are obsessed with water, among many other things, as a way to control what people do. Take for instance a golfing community in Texas that pumps water from the Brazos River running next to the golf course. After estimating the number of gallons of water needed to water their lawn, they paid the county for the water plus an additional amount in case they have underestimated their needs. After years of this business arrangement, the county wants to “renegotiate” the agreement because they feel that the course is not entitled to so much of “God’s water.”

Additionally, the residents cannot build cisterns to catch rainfall because “God’s water” would run on the property, seep into the ground, and run off into the river, thus polluting it.

As I described in my previous article, http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/58534 United Nations has a strong vested interest to control our water supply and our passage through the seas, oceans, our shipping, fishing, and mineral and oil exploration on the bottom of the ocean. They are controlling it through Agenda 21, chapters 17 and 18, and through the Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) which has not yet been ratified by the Senate for lack of sufficient votes – for now.

Executive Order 13603 from March 16, 2012 gives the Department of Defense authority over all water resources. The order also covers all food, transportation, energy, construction materials, “health resources,” farm equipment, fertilizers, and all fuels that can be commandeered and controlled by our government both in peacetime and during national emergencies. http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/03/16/executive-order-national-defense-resources-preparedness

Tombstone, Arizona, “the town too tough to die,” has been embroiled in expensive litigation with the USDA and the Forest Service over its ability to use water from the mountain springs that has provided the desert town with water since the 1880s, predating the Wilderness Act by 80 years.

A Monument Fire in 2011 destroyed the pipes in Huachuca Mountains that carried the water down from its source in the Miller Canyon Wilderness Area. Boulders the size of cars buried the pipes. The Forest Service denied residents the use of heavy machinery to unearth the pipes that were covered in some places by 12 feet of mud. Instead, they could only use wheelbarrows and hand tools because they were protecting an endangered species, a pair of nesting Mexican spotted owls. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2012/06/12/is-this-owl-forcing-historic-tombstone-az-to-fix-water-lines-with-horses-and-handtools/

The 10th Amendment protects states and their subdivisions from federal regulations that impede their ability to fulfill essential health and safety functions. “Though the water may originate on National Forest lands, Bureau of Land Management lands, and other federally managed lands, the rights to that water belong to the farms and ranches and cities.” The lawyers for the federal government disagree.

In mid-June 2012, a group of citizens armed with shovels trekked 2 miles up the mountain in 100 degree heat to restore water by hand from the Gardner Spring to the historical Tombstone, Arizona. http://netrightdaily.com/2012/06/tombstone-az-residents-forced-to-use-shovels-and-hand-tools-to-fix-water-supply/

Mr. Gosar said in his one minute speech to the House of Representatives on December 12, 2012, “Our communities shouldn’t need their Congressman or a lawsuit to make basic repairs to infrastructure. The Federal Government should work with us, not against us, to preserve western water supplies.” http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?r112:H12DE2-0026:/

Progressives don’t like hydroelectric power generation because it is interfering with nature, aquatic habitats, and the natural flow of rivers. Many dams have been blown up for this very reason. The fact that nature itself causes rivers to flood, creating and destroying habitats at the same time, had been ignored by the progressive agenda.

We now have to suffer the ill-effects of low flush “enviro-friendly” toilets that don’t really save any water since people have to flush them 4-5 times in order to get rid of human waste. To make matters worse, city sewers get stopped up because of low-flush toilets, costing them millions and millions of dollars a year to fix huge clogs. The much touted flushable wipes also choke the small residential pipes and cost homeowners millions of dollars a year to dig them out and replace. Yet there is sufficient water, save for cyclical periods of drought.

Global Bankruptcy, Sustainable Development, and Propaganda

Ever so caring for the fate of humanity, Pope Francis’ duties have now extended from world climatologist, population control, and critic of free market economics, to expert on global bankruptcy. He said, “The goods of the Earth are meant for everyone, and however much someone may parade his property, it has a social mortgage.”

The Catholic principle of “social mortgage” is the idea that the public has a “legitimate and necessary claim on private wealth and property.”

We are so lucky that we have such a capable Pope who not only tends to the souls of his flock but also to the pockets of the rich and of the downtrodden who are in serious need of wealth redistribution and social justice.

If we don’t allow countries to go bankrupt, we are definitely a heartless bunch.  Just giving them foreign aid and technical expertise to build their own prosperous economy is no longer enough. In the meantime, Christians are being killed and persecuted around the globe by their Muslim brethren but I digress.

The AP reported that Pope Francis said the following when asked to comment about the Greek debt debacle, “If a company can declare bankruptcy, why can’t a country do so and we go to the aid of others?” Because so many countries struggle with debt, he called for an international bankruptcy process as a solution. I am not sure if he mentioned all the theft and misallocation of donated funds or how loans have been used or misused.

The Catholic Church’s consultant to the Vatican, Eric LeCompte, head of the religious development organization called Jubilee USA Network, said that “Pope Francis knows that heavy debt loads cause poverty and inequality. The Pope’s statement is a logical extension of the Catholic Church’s strong support of debt relief for struggling countries.”

The Pope is not alone in poverty and debt eradication calls. United Nations voted 124-11 in September 2014 to develop a global bankruptcy process. The Pope is just promoting their plans. IMF studies revealed that debt is a cause of inequality. It will develop a proposal this fall as “nearly 50 countries face worrying levels of debt according to World Bank statistics.”

“A bankruptcy process is critical if we want less poverty and if we want to prevent financial crisis,” said LeCompte, consultant to a recent United Nations Conference on Trade and Development road map utilized in the U.N. bankruptcy process. “Bankruptcy means less inequality and more global stability."

Since our American students’ college loans cannot be bankrupted even though most of them cannot find jobs in their fields in this out-of-control national-debt-strapped economy to enable them to pay back their loans, should we not start a bankruptcy loan forgiveness at home before taxpayers are somehow saddled with the debt of the third world? If suddenly international banks that made loans to various countries, are in need themselves of bailouts because they are deemed “too big to fail,” will taxpayers be required to rescue them?

At the same time, the U.N. is preparing the future of education through a renewed propaganda indoctrination assault of our children into Green Global Citizens. U.N. Secretary Bank Ki Moon and UNESCO’s chief Irina Bokova declared that globalized schools around the world need to re-shape our children’s values in order to create “sustainable global citizens.”

Attending the U.N. World Education Forum in South Korea, 100 education ministers, U.N. plutocrats, globalists, Marxist educators, environmentalists, lobbyists, and “stakeholders” outlined the public relations media blitz of the “roadmap for global education” through 2030 via the Incheon Declaration. http://en.unesco.org/world-education-forum-2015/incheon-declaration

The U.N. Foundation, media “partners” and other NGOs unveiled their propaganda campaign for the next fifteen years to promote the “sustainable development” master plan for humanity and the globe, the lynchpin of the 1992 U.N. Agenda 21. Dubbed the “world’s largest advertising campaign,” the U.N. effort will “train” and “subsidize” so-called journalists to favorably report on the one world government global control, under the guise of “sustainable development,” of every facet of our economy and of our lives.

While visiting the United States in September, in addition to supporting the climate change industry, the Pope will likely attack the “American Idea,” the God-given individual rights outlined in the U.S. Declaration of Independence. We know so because the senior Vatican and U.N. adviser, Jeffrey Sachs, wrote in a Catholic publication that “the path to happiness lies not solely or mainly through the defense of rights but through the exercise of virtues, most notably justice and charity.” http://www.aim.org/aim-column/liberal-academic-says-americas-founding-document-outmoded/

The indoctrination into the global citizenship will be facilitated by our Department of Education agenda of “cradle to government-approved career.” Secretary of Education Arnie Duncan unveiled the plan for government boarding schools for “just certain kids we should have 24/7,” building “community centers” with more offerings of “after school programming” and the opportunity to shape the brain full of mush of potential social justice drones.

And topping the list of communist indoctrination, millions of dollars of tax money will be used to brain wash kids into non-existent “white privilege,” a race-based ruse to excuse any lack of personal responsibility, motivation, and work ethic among the lazy, incapable, and the sloth.

The San Francisco-based Pacific Education Group, “claims black students shouldn’t be subject to ‘white values’ such as industriousness, punctuality, and civilized classroom behavior and that they should be held to different standards than whites.” Never mind that teachers report chaos in the classrooms where these new “visionary” and outrageous standards of behavior have been adopted. Such race-based standards are racist by definition. But then again, achievement based on merit is overrated. Why not have 144 valedictorians among 400 high school graduates?

While in South America, Pope Francis made the call for “a new economic and ecological world order where the goods of the Earth are shared by everyone, not just exploited by the rich.” The question remains, who will divide these goods of the earth and how will it be done if not by supply and demand? And who will be the producers with so many takers waiting in the wings?
