History Forgotten, the Armenian Genocide and the Assyrians Today

“Around the world, Christians are facing violence, persecution, brutality in a way we have not seen in generations.”  – Rey Flores, “The Wanderer”

The leftist charlatans with their fake “war on women” movement are deafly silent in the face of a real genocide, the deliberate and brutal torture and killings of Christian men and women.  Yazidi women and girls are kidnapped, raped, and driven into a life of slavery to ISIS as forced converts to Islam.
A small army of resistance is fighting the scourge of ISIS, in a valiant attempt to save what is left of their Assyrian tribes and of their women.  ISIS is bent on eradicating them, their religion, their ancient culture, and any archeological remnant of their history. Their churches are destroyed while ancient artifacts and monuments are blown up. Syriac Orthodox Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II said that “forced displacement on the basis of religious beliefs, be it Islam or Christianity, is a crime against humanity,” referring to the war crimes inflicted upon his people by ISIS in Mosul. http://unitedassyrianappeal.org/

Pope Francis spoke in 2014 about the Armenian genocide during Mass in the Armenian Catholic rite at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.  Church leaders and the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan were in attendance. He spoke about humanity witnessing “three massive and unprecedented tragedies” in the 20th century.  “The first, which is widely considered, ‘the first genocide of the 20th century,’ struck your own Armenian people,” he said. The Nazi Holocaust and Stalin’s mass killings were followed by other genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Burundi, and Bosnia.

In 2015 Pope Francis mentioned three “massive and unprecedented tragedies” of the last century, the “Great Crime,” the methodical genocide of Armenian Christians who “were killed because of their faith,” and the “atrocities of the Nazis and of the communists, along with other mass killings…” http://en.radiovaticana.va/news/2015/04/12/pope_focuses_on_divine_mercy_in_mass_for_armenians/1136249

As Christians, it is our duty and responsibility to keep alive the memories of those killed, the Pope said. “Concealing or denying evil is like allowing a wound to keep bleeding without bandaging it,” Pope Francis continued.

BBC News reported on April 12, 2015 that Turkey was angry with Pope Francis’ description of the mass killings of Armenians under Ottoman rule in WWI as “genocide.”  Turkey plays down the genocide as smaller numbers of deaths resulting from the WWI clashes in which ethnic Turks have also suffered.

Most Western scholars regard the 1.5 million Armenians civilians, who were deliberately deported between 1915-1916 to desert regions where they succumbed to starvation and thirst, as genocide. Countries like Belgium, Canada, Argentina, France, Italy, Russia, and Uruguay recognize the mass killings of Armenians as genocide. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-32272604

For the first time, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan offered condolences in 2014 to the grandchildren of the Armenians who were massacred in 1915. This year marks a century since the atrocities were committed, and, until all countries recognize that the genocide had occurred, it is an incomplete mourning exacerbated by denial stories to this day. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/apr/23/turkey-erdogan-condolences-armenian-massacre

Why were Armenians massacred by the Turks? To understand the reason, you must understand who the Armenians were, how, and why they lived under the Ottoman Empire, and their status as non-Muslims, “non-believers,” and second-class citizens.
Armenians are ancient people who lived in Anatolia some 2500 years ago. They had their own distinctive alphabet and culture. There are 6 to 7 million Armenians today, half living in the Republic of Armenia, while the rest are scattered in the U.S., Russia, France, Lebanon, and Syria.

In the year 301 A.D., the King of Armenia was the first ruler to adopt Christianity as the official state religion, even before the Roman Emperor Constantine’s conversion to Christianity. Captured by the Ottoman Empire in the 15th century, Armenia was absorbed into the Islamic Ottoman Empire, along with a large swath of European lands. As subject of the Sultan, Armenians had less freedom, had to pay higher taxes, were discriminated against, and were not allowed to serve in the military.

Unhappy with the second-class citizen status, by the end of the 1800s, Armenians demanded equality. In the 1890s the Bloody Sultan who was presiding over a weak government, used massacres as a way to maintain law and order.  In 1894-1896 200,000 Armenians were killed during the Hamidian massacres under the rule of Abdul Hamid II, a foreshadowing of what was to come in 1915. http://www.armenian-genocide.org/hamidian.html

When the Young Turks forced the Sultan out in 1908, Armenians were allowed to serve in the military. In 1912-1913 the Christian regions of Greece, Serbia, and Bulgaria gained their independence from the Ottoman Empire.

According to Vahaken Dadrian, Director of the Genocidal Research at Zoryan Institute, as quoted on a film aired on PBS, http://asbarez.com/133128/acclaimed-armenian-genocide-documentary-to-air-on-pbs/

“For the first time in recent history, the glorious Ottoman army suffered a major military defeat at the hands of their former subject-nations, Greeks, Bulgarians, and Serbs,” losing in two weeks 75 percent of their former European territories. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vahakn_Dadrian
The despair borne by such a loss in the Balkans gave rise to a deep hatred against Christians, inflamed by Ottoman refugees’ stories, refugees thrown out of Christian lands, turning angry Turks against their indigenous Christian population, the Armenians – “Revenge, revenge, revenge, there is no other word.”

Ambassador Henry Morgenthau published in 1918 his personal account of the Armenian genocide. Chapter 24, The Murder of a Nation, describes in grizzly detail how Armenian men, who were formerly soldiers and cavalrymen in the Turkish army, were stripped of their arms and transformed into road workers and “pack animals.” Carrying heavy loads onto their backs, these men were whipped and bayonetted by the Turks into the Caucasus Mountains, sometimes waist-deep through snow.

“They had to spend practically all their time in the open, sleeping on the bare ground. … They were given only scraps of food; if they fell sick they were left where they had dropped,” while the Turks robbed them of their possessions and their clothes. “Squads of 50-100 men were taken in groups of four, marched to a secluded spot a short distance from the village,” they were stripped naked and shot, having been forced to dig their own graves.

Morgenthau described the fate of an entire Armenian regiment sent to Diarbekir. Agents notified Kurdish tribesmen to attack and kill these weak and starved soldiers “that they might gain that merit in Allah’s eyes that comes from killing a Christian.”

Ambassador Morgenthau explained how “throughout the Turkish Empire a systematic attempt was made to kill all able-bodied men, not only for the purpose of removing all males who might propagate a new generation of Armenians, but for the purpose of rendering the weaker part of the population an easy prey.”

When thousands failed to turn in weapons, the Turks ransacked churches, desecrated altars, marched the naked men and women through the streets, letting them be whipped by angry Turkish mobs. Those imprisoned who did not manage to flee into the woods and caves were subjected to the “bastinado” torture, the beating of the soles of the feet until they burst and had to be amputated.

Crucifixion, pulling of fingernails, of hairs, of eyebrows, tearing of flesh with red-hot pincers, and then pouring hot oil into the wounds were some of the barbaric methods of torture drawn from the records of the Spanish Inquisition.

Torture was just the beginning of the Armenian atrocities. What was to come was the actual destruction of “an entire Armenian race” by deporting it to the south and southeastern part of the Ottoman Empire, the Syrian Desert and the Mesopotamian valley. Morgenthau said, “The Central Government now announced its intention of gathering the two million or more Armenians living in the several sections of the empire and transporting them to this desolate and inhospitable region.” They knew they would die on the way of thirst, starvation, or murdered by “Mohammedan desert tribes.”

The deportations took place through the spring and summer of 1915. The entire Armenian population of villages was ordered to appear in the main square, sometimes with little time to prepare, their homes and possessions confiscated for “safekeeping” and then divided among Turks. Once the deported Armenians had traveled several hours, they were attacked and killed in secluded valleys by Turkish peasants with clubs, hammers, axes, scythes, spades, and saws.

The “caravans of despair” originated in thousands of cities and villages in the Ottoman Empire.  Ambassador Morgenthau described how village after village and town after town were emptied of its Armenian population and, in six months, “about 1.2 million people started on this journey to the Syrian desert.” He believed it absurd that the Turkish government claimed to deport Armenians to “new homes,” the real intent was extermination. He concludes, “The details in questions were furnished to me directly by the American Consul in Aleppo, and are now on file in the State Department at Washington.” (Ambassador Morgenthau’s Story:  A Personal Account of the Armenian Genocide, Henry Morgenthau, Cosimo Classics, New York, 2010)

Henry Morgenthau Sr. (1856-1946) “details how Turkey fell under the influence of Germany and how this led to the Armenian Genocide. In a trial run of the extermination of the Jews, the Germans orchestrated the murder and exile of the Armenians from Turkey, with ‘Turkey for the Turks’ as a rallying cry. The similarities to the Holocaust are chilling.”

Also chilling is the recent discovery made by Stefan Petke of the Technical University of Berlin who uncovered rare WWII footage that documents the existence of Muslim units (The Free Arab Legion) in the Nazi army who were used as ‘working soldiers’ because they “were a complete failure in the battlefields of Tunisia in 1943.” http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4645922,00.html

The Armenian genocide, the Nazi Holocaust, Stalin’s mass starvation of his own people seems forgotten because schools spend no time discussing the atrocities committed. The good people of the world turned a deaf ear then just like they are doing today. The Ottoman/Islamist ISIS massacre against Christians continues to this day in Iraq and the good people of the world are doing little to help the victims.

The Paris Massacre, Social Justice, and Redistribution of Wealth

Social justice is defined as “promoting a just society by challenging injustice and valuing diversity.” It can only exist when “all people share a common humanity and therefore have a right to equitable treatment, support for their human rights, and a fair allocation of community resources.” http://gjs.appstate.edu/social-justice-and-human-rights/what-social-justice

There are many problems with this definition. The most glaring is the fact that “personal responsibility” does not seem to be a variable. Another problem is the fact that, to quote Dr. Savage, “Without quality there can be no equality.” Thirdly, this much touted and failed diversity/multiculturalism is causing severe problems in the west as the advancing hordes of Muslim “refugees” are causing massacres, chaos, and destruction in Paris and in Europe, soon to emerge in the U.S.

Not all people share a common humanity, some are quite barbaric. Western societies have built a civilization based on huge libraries of knowledge whereas theocracies like Islam base their entire existence on one book to the exclusion of all else. Additionally, allocating community resources fairly from an economic stand point is logistically impossible unless governments steal from one group or persons and give to others.

From Pope Pius XII, the much beloved, anti-communist and anti-Nazi Pope, to the current overtly socialist Pope Francis, the 266th pontiff of the Catholic Church, the church has undergone transformational changes. These changes are influencing the politics of the globe and shifting the role of the papacy from caring for the souls of parishioners to promoting global socialism through redistribution of wealth, social justice, and submission to the politics of the climate change industry.

In his 224-page document, “The Joy of the Gospel” (Evangelii Gaudium), Pope Francis criticized the following. http://w2.vatican.va/content/francesco/en/apost_exhortations/documents/papa-francesco_esortazione-ap_20131124_evangelii-gaudium.html

-          The current capitalist inequalities

Do progressives, who criticize capitalism as evil, understand that socialism and communism were never equal, inclusive, kind to the people, and fair? There were two classes, the haves, composed of communist party apparatchiks, and the have-nots, composed of the proletariat.

-          “The idolatry of money”

Who pays for the salaries of priests and the maintenance of churches around the world for its 1.5 billion Catholics? Do they work for free? Do they not “idolize” money in order to survive? The Holy See is quite flush with cash and wealthy beyond belief if you consider thousands of priceless works of art, marble statues, gold and silver icons, urns, crucifixes, chalices, and marble cathedrals around the world. Should they not follow their own direction and distribute all this vast wealth to the poor?

-          “The inequality that spawns violence”

Have liberals and other assorted followers not understood that violence and wars around the world were borne not only by real or perceived economic inequalities but by religion, land disputes, drug cartels, plundering, natural resources such as oil, gold, coal, diamonds, silver, and insatiable lust for power and control?

How exactly does the millennial Islamic violence and wars, driven by the quest to kill the “infidels” and to install a world-wide Caliphate, figure out into this half-baked inequality theory? Schools have successfully indoctrinated generations of students who do not know that the Crusades were responses to Arab aggression and Islamic occupation of Europe.

-          “Trickle-down economics” as a theory that “expresses a crude and naïve trust in the goodness of those wielding economic power.”

The Washington Post immediately included the papal criticism in its editorial and pointed out that Democrats and liberals have rejected the “trickle-down economics” theory and used the phrase derisively to define it. http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/pope-francis-denounces-trickle-down-economic-theories-in-critique-of-inequality/2013/11/26/e17ffe4e-56b6-11e3-8304-caf30787c0a9_story.html

“The phrase has often been used derisively to describe a popular version of conservative economic philosophy that argues that allowing the wealthy to run their businesses unencumbered by regulation or taxation bears economic benefits that lead to more jobs and income for the rest of society. Liberals and Democratic officials have rejected the theory, saying it is contradicted by economic evidence.”

As a matter of fact, trickle-down theories, which “assume that economic growth, encouraged by a free market, will inevitably succeed in bringing about greater justice and inclusiveness in the world,” have been proven correct.

There is a good reason why the United States has done so well economically as opposed to centralized, socialist, and communist countries where indescribable poverty is rampant while the ruling, tyrannical elite live luxuriously. Even the poorest of the poor in the United States live far better lives than the rest of the world because free markets work despite heavy infusion of crony capitalism.

The Latin American Pope from Buenos Aires lamented that masses are still waiting for “social justice.” We have certainly spent trillions of dollars to no avail, in an effort to eradicate the poverty supposedly driven by social injustice. After decades of fighting the war on poverty and giving trillions around the globe and to our own population, we have made little progress because we have created a perennial welfare class that prefers to stay at home instead of being productively working.

The welfare class has been expanded with the addition of the multi-cultural illegal aliens brought in by the open borders non-governmental organizations (NGOs) who benefit financially from taking in as many illegals as possible, and the Muslim “refugees” resettled from around the world in places where their Sharia Laws clash violently with western civilization and are incompatible with our Constitution.

Never mind that economically speaking poverty is a relative term and there is a difference between wealth and income. But facts should not get in the way of the progressive agenda pandering to the economically-illiterate voting base and to the illegal immigrants invading U.S. and Europe who do not speak English and are often illiterate in their own native languages.

Somehow, in the twisted liberal logic, it is social justice to steal from the wealthy and the middle class.  These “rich” citizens have not earned their wealth through hard work but have stolen their ill-gotten gains from the poor and must therefore give it away to the downtrodden.

According to Gen. Pacepa, the Soviet communist-led idea of “social justice” was infiltrated successfully by the KGB into the Latin America’s Catholic Church as a religious movement called “liberation theology.” The goal was to “incite Latin America’s poor to rebel against the ‘institutionalized violence of poverty’ generated by the United States.” (Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa, Disinformation, Washington, D. C., WND Books, Inc., 2013, chapter 15, p. 106)

What kind of “social justice” are the masses waiting for who are pining for socialism and communism? They are waiting to vote again and again for the same individuals and the same socialist or communist governments that brought them to the brink of poverty and kept them perennially downtrodden. They are waiting for socialist governments to give them welfare and free minimal health care through Castro clinics while they stay home and procreate more dependents. They are waiting for the redistribution of wealth from productive citizens. They are enslaved to their governments who decide their daily lives yet it is the United States’ fault.

Does “inequality spawn violence?” Is the Pope’s statement that “Authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence” true? That is an interesting question to ponder in light of the violence spawned around Europe by the Islamist “refugees” that is creating chaos and destruction in many small towns in Germany, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, and Sweden.

The following is an excerpt from paragraph 253 of the papal document: …“We Christians should embrace with affection and respect Muslim immigrants to our countries in the same way that we hope and ask to be received and respected in countries of Islamic tradition. I ask and I humbly entreat those countries to grant Christians freedom to worship and to practice their faith, in light of the freedom which followers of Islam enjoy in Western countries! Faced with disconcerting episodes of violent fundamentalism, our respect for true followers of Islam should lead us to avoid hateful generalisations, for authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.” http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/francesco/apost_exhortations/documents/papa-francesco_esortazione-ap_20131124_evangelii-gaudium_en.pdf

The Christian victims of jihad violence in Egypt, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Syria carried out daily by Muslims who use the Koran to explain the burning of churches and the killing of innocents certainly contradict his Holiness. And the hundreds of dead and grievously injured westerners in the Paris massacre are blatant and painful evidence to the Islamist intolerance.

Based on prior history, we know neither appeasement nor reverse psychology works; on the contrary, appeasement creates war and more violence.

Robert Spencer explained that “The Bishop of Rome, by virtue of his position as successor of St. Peter, can, according to Catholic teaching, speak authoritatively about Catholic doctrine: he has the authority to delineate what is authentic Catholicism. This, however, is a statement about "authentic Islam." It would be interesting to know how he came to this conclusion, since the Pope of Rome has no counterpart within the Islamic world: there is no Muslim authority to which he can appeal in order to discover what ‘authentic Islam’ consists of, and many Muslim authorities would disagree with his statement that ‘authentic Islam’ is opposed to every form of violence." http://www.jihadwatch.org/2013/11/pope-francis-authentic-islam-and-the-proper-reading-of-the-koran-are-opposed-to-every-form-of-violen.html

Pope Pius XII saved many Jews from pogroms. He was the voice of the Catholic Church to protest against Hitler’s attack on the Jews, the Polish people, and on the prisoners in the concentration camps.

He even used Castel Gandolfo, the Pope’s summer home, to shelter thousands of refugees.  In fact, “his personal bedroom was converted into a nursery and birthing area, and about forty babies were born there during the war.” The World Jewish Congress estimated that 860,000 Jews were saved by the Catholic Church and the work of Pope Pius XII. (Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa, Disinformation, Washington, D.C., WND Books, Inc., 2013, p. 66, as quoted from the testimony of P. Guglielmo Hentrich before the Ecclesiastical Tribunal of Rome)

Would Pope Francis, with his vast and powerful influence, succeed in “nudging” the global population into the direction of global socialism with its “social justice,” complete redistribution of wealth, and blind submission to the climate change industry and to “Chrislam?”

U.N. Agenda 21 Has Now Morphed into Agenda 2030

After forty years of socialist indoctrination in schools and LGBT activism, the progressive agenda is finally bearing fruit. Gloating that the Women of the Left and GLAAD were victorious over our country, a recent Rush Limbaugh caller said that our country is in such a mess right now, that Christians won’t even help their own when religious rights are trampled. The warping and destruction of our children’s minds in schools is so complete, they now think the way feminist and LGBT militants want them to think, the caller concluded.

Activists must now convince the world. Samantha Powers, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. and important advocate of the LGBT agenda, said in a press conference on C-SPAN:

“Again, we’re getting this issue into the DNA of the United Nations, but until today the Security Council had never broached this topic, and so today also represents a small but historic step.” http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/susan-jones/samantha-power-us-injecting-lgbt-rights-dna-united-nations

But third world nations are not exactly buying it. Senegal rep, speaking for the 54-nation African Group, U.N.’s largest regional bloc, said that “Sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights cannot be considered to create or imply a right to abortion.” They also rejected “any interpretation of any terms that runs counter to domestic law.”

The Holy See promotes the defense of life in the womb, “protecting the right to life of the person from conception until natural death.” However, the Center for Family and Human Rights (C-Fam) noted that “Possibly for the first time since its founding 70 years ago, a major U.N. agreement involving social policy does not mention the family.”

The United Nations Sustainable Development Summit will be held September 25-27 in New York and will address Sustainable Development as defined in the 1992 Agenda 21 document after injecting it with steroids and repackaging it into Agenda 2030. It will not address just global warming turned climate change talking points; it will embrace every facet of human life through its 17 goals, a “new universal agenda for humanity” and a blueprint for global governance.

Tom DeWeese, President and founder of the American Policy Center, said, “Basically they are rebooting Agenda and they are calling on the world’s most visible religious leader to promote the agenda.”

At the World Commission on the Environment in 1983, Gro Harlem Brundtland, Vice Chair of the World Socialist Party, introduced the term and the definition of Sustainable Development. "Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." Who decides what the needs of each person are and the ability? Sounds like collectivism to me.

Sustainable Development (SD) is not what the actual words imply. SD is a euphemistic tool to create the new international economic order based on socialism after the overthrow of capitalism and the elimination of national identity and borders. SD is a vehicle to construct a one world government, the New World Order as printed on our dollar bill, Novus Ordo Seclorum.

The stated goals of Agenda 2030, although innocuous sounding, are the blueprint of the New World Order controlled by large corporations and an elitist group of very wealthy individuals:

1.      End poverty in all its forms everywhere

I have heard this promise before under communism. We were all on government subsidies and subsistence level standard of living, no proper healthcare, no cars, no homes, drab concrete cubicle housing, few personal possessions, no private property, dependency on mass transportation only, no mobility outside of the city except to commute to work.

Poverty will not end, citizens of all races and creeds will be dependent on welfare, food stamps, housing, and poor medical care and drugs. Schools will teach global citizens how to remain perennial victims on the dole because government is the only entity that protects them.

Trillions of dollars later, the war on poverty in the U.S. has created generational welfare dependency. Developed world money spent on poor nations increased the wealth of the elites in power.

2.      End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture

Under the premise of “increased output” and feeding the world’s hungry, the mega-farms have gobbled up mom and pop farms. Engineering genetically modified plants and seeds, quite different from hybridization, with the extensive use of herbicides and pesticides, companies have no idea what the long-term effects will be.

Food security in case of a large-scale calamity is not guaranteed. The world supply of grain would only last for two days. Grocery stores that supply the majority of the urban population only have enough food for three days.

Christiana Figueres, Executive Secretary of the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change, proposed that Mega-Cities inhabitants grow their own food on terraces and rooftops with rain water. How is that feasible and sustainable? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WX8h5VIisKc

3.      Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages

Forced vaccination for kids, medical subcutaneous I.D. tags, sterilization, prescribed medication for hyper-activity, meds for real or imagined depression, mass medication for health prevention programs, forced nutrition by government standards like school lunches, reduced soda drinks, reduced salt intake, walkability are just some of the issues that will rob global citizens of their freedom of choice under the guise of government-mandated healthy lives.

4.      Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all

This is an interesting goal for third world and Muslim nations where girls are not encouraged or allowed to go to school past eighth grade and are forced to marry very early in their teens. In the developed world, the globalists are dumbing down education with Common Core standards that prepare students to be collective workers, not independent thinkers, and global citizens busy-bees in large corporations. Common Core also replaces history with revisionist history, non-facts, impossible math, collectivist indoctrination, and proselytizes for Islam to the detriment of Christianity.

Since it’s impossible to make all humans equal in education outcome, by forcing them to fit one mold of education standards and testing, Common Core education ensures a generation of compliant drones who are all equally ignorant on the same textbook page.

5.      Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls

Gender equality is just another code word for feminizing or “chickifying” society, lowering standards to include women in the military, police, and firemen, even though women are physiologically different than men, particularly in muscle mass and body fat content.

Marginalize and shame men for the “brutes” that they are. Make parents, particularly dads, into babbling idiots in every sitcom on television or in books. Encourage and “nudge” (push) citizens into obedience, relinquishing private property and accepting communal property where everything is shared because we are all “equal.” It will be an equally miserable existence.

“Criminalize Christianity, marginalize homosexuality, demonize males and promote the LGBT agenda everywhere.” (Mike Adams)

6.      Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all

“Allow powerful corporations to seize control of the world’s water supplies and charge monopoly prices to ‘build new water delivery infrastructure’ that ‘ensures availability.’” (Mike Adams)

Have government control irrigation like the St. Joaquin Valley in California where it was decided that the delta smelt was more important to protect than thousands of acres of farms and orchards that were the backbone of California agricultural industry. Instead of irrigating said farms, fresh water was diverted and dumped into the ocean every day, while crops and trees died. And the delta smelt may disappear on its own anyway.

Through various executive orders and the EPA, waters of the United States are controlled by the government and will be overseen by the United Nations once the onerous Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) is ratified.

7.      Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all

Pushing solar and wind power which may make sense for a few remote locations, the demonizing of coal has left millions of Africans without electricity and without the ability to provide clean water to their villages. Furthermore, the middle class and the poorer citizens of the developed world have had to pay higher electricity rates than necessary due to the war on coal waged relentlessly by the environmental lobby, this administration, and the EPA’s ever more stringent rules and regulations for coal-fired power plants.

The media glosses over or ignores the high cost of renewables, the providers’ rate of bankruptcy, the insufficient energy generated vis-à-vis the world’s electric needs, the huge plots of land taken out of agriculture production in order to accommodate solar panels and wind turbines, the kill-rate of millions of birds, the burning of crops as fuel, pushing corn prices higher, and the human health costs from wind turbines.

8.      Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all

Government-mandated living minimum wage of $15 has been a disaster so far, replacing humans with technology, causing more unemployment in the service sectors, and reducing work hours due to the requirements of the (un) Affordable Care Act.

Forcing quotas for various minority workers lacking qualification, destroying a free market system based on supply and demand, the government has socially-engineered the economy to steady decline by denying permits and licenses to companies they don’t like, or to companies that do not abide by their rules. “You did not build that” has become a glaring example of abuse of power over small businesses.

9.      Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation

Borrowing money from the World Bank and then hiring corporations to build infrastructure, the practice of bribery in third world nations, and the misuse of funds by those in power have resulted in a spiraling debt that poor countries cannot extricate themselves from unless there is a massive debt forgiveness which different lobbying groups have endorsed.

The U.N. has demanded that technology be transferred to the entire globe without any remuneration to inventors and innovators for research and development.

10.  Reduce inequality within and among countries

To do so, one would have to confiscate the wealth of all entrepreneurs, inventors, and innovators who took a risk and worked hard developing an idea, the so-called rich, and re-distribute the fruits of their labor and any associated gains, to those who chose not to work, be dependent on government welfare, and reproduce in high numbers.

Successful people have been sharing their wealth through generous donations to the tune of billions of dollars each year and they have made no dent whatsoever lifting the poor out of poverty.

No matter what we do, there will always be inequality. We cannot regulate it away by United Nations fiat or by government decree.

11.  Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable

Socially engineering humans from suburban and rural areas into Mega-cities is a recipe for disaster, crime, pollution, crowding, disease, and riots. There is no sustainable anything in the city. If there is even a remote interruption of fuel and water to a large urban area, chaos will ensue quickly. Forcing humans to live in such crowded, high rise, mixed, multi-purpose dwellings will allow government to control them better, particularly if gun ownership is banned around the world.

12.  Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

Being told how much electricity, food, and water to consume is like living in a third world nation. I’ve been down that road under a communist regime and I still remember the long lines, the struggle to find food, and the scarcity of everything that a central government planned economy did not and could not provide.

If the government fails to provide, the population will experience shortages of basic goods like food, water, electricity, hot water, light bulbs, toilet paper, medicines, and other stuff we take for granted. Look at oil-rich Venezuela destroyed by decades of Hugo Chavez’s socialist policies, a benevolent dictator who made sure he stole billions for himself and his family before he threw the poor a few crumbs in the form of free medical care from Fidel Castro’s Cuban doctors who treated sniffles. Venezuela must now employ the military to distribute food to its citizens.

13.  Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts

The climate change industry is getting rich beyond belief by taxing people to death for the non-existent carbon pollution from CO2, forcing them into standard of living changes, going back to pre-industrial times, penalize car ownership, shaming people into driving unsafe tin cans, forcing the public into mass transit, walking, and biking everywhere.

14.  Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas, and marine resources for sustainable development

Banning ocean fishing would reduce the food supply and increase food prices for a lot of poor humans whose survival depends on seafood. The Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) would place all the oceanic and marine passage and ownership in the hands of the United Nation’s the Agency who would give passage approval, fishing, and marine exploration, giving itself the lion’s share for exploration of fossil fuels and other minerals on the bottom of ocean.

15.  Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss

To fulfill this Agenda 2030 goal, all humans must be herded into cities according to the Biodiversity Treaty, the Wildlands Project Map, by controlling passage on land via human corridors, forbidding private land ownership, banning wood stoves, banning rain water and snowmelt collection, criminalize home-gardening the way HOAs do in most areas, in order to make humans dependent on government-run and controlled agriculture. http://nwri.org/the-wildlands-project/un-biodiversity-treaty-and-the-wildlands-project/

16.  Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels

To achieve this goal, a massive invasion of illegal aliens has been planned and is currently underway. Legal immunity and special status and privileges are granted to said illegal aliens, special groups, and minorities to the detriment of the general population who is required to follow the law.

IRS punished and harassed conservative groups and individuals. Crony capitalists received special favors, funds, and status and were allowed to bring in less qualified and experienced legal and illegal aliens to replace American professional workers who had to train their replacements.

17.  Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development

Globalism will finally be enacted as a mandate for every signatory country (178), superseding national laws and borders, making parliaments and our Congress irrelevant, allowing the largest companies in the world to become trans-national monopolies over drugs, seeds, chemicals, weapons, technology, medicine, energy, education, and transportation.

Mike Adams encapsulated this goal very well, “Nullify national laws and demand total global obedience to trade agreements authored by powerful corporations and rubber-stamped by the U.N.” http://naturalnews.com/051058_2030_Agenda_United_Nations_global_enslavement.html#ixzz311ei6zGh

Progressivism will finally succeed in installing global socialism under the umbrella of U.N.’s Agenda 2030, dressed as Sustainable Development and Equality. His Holiness Pope Francis will come to the U.S. on September 22, 2015 to convince Congress that climate change is the biggest threat to our existence. His visit is a heavenly-sent gift, 3 days before the meeting in New York, which is retooling Agenda 21 into Agenda 2030.

Pope Francis and Climatism

National Geographic published a fascinating article on his Holiness, Pope Francis. Robert Draper and Dave Yoder, who gained unprecedented access to the pope, wrote about and photographed the pope extensively.

The Conclave chose the former Argentinian, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, and “vaulted him from relative obscurity into the papacy.  To many observers – some delighted, other discomfited – the new pope already had changed seemingly everything, seemingly overnight.”  http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2015/08/vatican/draper-text

One of the images of archbishop Bergoglio, an Argentinian born of Italian parents, was showing the archbishop kneeling on stage in front of “men of lesser status.” The picture was published by Cabildo, a conservative Catholic journal, with the caption “apostata.

Self-described as a “callejero,” the Jesuit priest frequently visited the ghetto and rode the subway, a “wanderer” in search of lost souls. He was made bishop in 1992 and cardinal in 2001.

Massimo Franco, a Roman author, explained his meteoric rise. “His election arose from a trauma – from the sudden (and for nearly six centuries, unprecedented) resignation of the sitting pope, Benedict XVI, and from the mounting sentiment among more progressive cardinals that the hoary and Eurocentric mind-set of the Holy See was rotting the Catholic Church from within.”

The beautiful Catholic Churches in Europe are rather empty of parishioners on most days; they are fabulous museums where tourists admire the icons, the tombs of the famous statesmen and former popes, statues, and reliquaries with a sense of reverence, admiration, appreciation, and awe. Occasionally some tourists do pray.

Robert Draper reported that Pope Francis does not wear a bulletproof vest because, Francis told his friend, Norberto Saracco, “The Lord has put me here. He’ll have to look out for me.”

Highly independent, Pope Francis accompanied a friend to the elevator at the end of a visit so that, he joked, … I can be sure you don’t take anything with you.” Regarding his independent spirit, Robert Draper quoted the Vatican spokesman, “In a sense, this is positive, because in the past there were criticisms that someone had too much power over the pope. They cannot say this is the case now.”

Changes in the Vatican happen with any new pope. But Ramiro de la Serna, Franciscan priest from Buenos Aires said, “I believe we haven’t yet seen the real changes. And I also believe we haven’t seen the real resistance yet either.”

Uncomfortable with the Swiss Guards following him everywhere for his own safety, Draper writes that the pope has eventually “resigned to their near-constant presence.” Bemoaning the fact that he cannot walk the streets of Rome like he used to walk in the streets of Buenos Aires, he feels “penned in.”

Pope Francis admits that he never follows his impulses because “the first answer that comes to me is usually wrong,” he said.

People have criticized the pope for embracing an imam, Omar Abboud, after praying with him and the rabbi Skorka at the Western Wall.

Graciously, Pope Francis gives sage advice to engaged couples. “The perfect family doesn’t exist, nor is there a perfect husband or a perfect wife, and let’s not talk about the perfect mother-in-law! It’s just us sinners.” In response to a question about gay priests, Draper reported that the pope had said, “Who am I to judge?”

The pope seems to be shaking Vatican and revolutionize the world. Draper believes that “This would appear to be the pope’s mission: to ignite a revolution inside the Vatican and beyond its walls, without overturning a host of long-held precepts.” He quotes la Serna, the pope’s Argentinian friend, “He won’t change doctrine. What he will do is return the church to its true doctrine – the one it has forgotten, the one that puts man back in the center. By putting the suffering of man, and his relationship with God, back in the center, these harsh attitudes toward homosexuality, divorce, and other things will start to change.”

His climate change encyclical and the invitation to address the U.S. Congress in the fall are evidence that he is hugely successful. He has inserted himself into the global warming debacle now turned into a veritable industry of climate change, a wealth redistribution scheme to combat poverty around the globe, and an attempt to control every facet of our lives through environmentalism, led by the United Nations with its many organizations staffed by third world bureaucrats and developed world socialists/Marxists.

In late July 2015, sixty environmentally-friendly mayors from cities like Boston, Boulder, New York City, San Francisco, Oslo, Stockholm, New Orleans, Birmingham (Alabama), Vancouver, Libreville (Gabon), Siquirres (Costa Rica), and Kochi (India) met for a two-day conference in Vatican City to pledge to the pope to reduce global warming and to help the urban poor deal with the onslaught of global warming which seems to affect them disproportionately while the rest of “the working class” are experiencing cooler temperatures due to seasonal changes.

These mayors belong to the Carbon Neutral Cities Alliance and have committed themselves to reducing CO2 emissions by “at least 80 percent by 2050.” Gov. Jerry Brown of California is the leader, having “enacted the toughest greenhouse gas emission standards in North America.”

At the conclusion of the two-day conference, mayors were also asked to sign a declaration against slavery and human trafficking.

Mayor Gregor Robertson of Vancouver signed the declaration  that states “human-induced climate change is a scientific reality and its effective control is a moral imperative for humanity.” So the “climatism” rhetoric has changed now from “consensus science is settled” to “human imperative.”

Mayor William Bell of Birmingham, Alabama, discussed segregation as he experienced it, a “close-cousin to slavery,” he said. He was elated to follow the pope’s call to end all forms of modern-day slavery.

Oslo’s mayor Stian Berger Rosland was cheered by his colleagues when he announced that he was “the first Catholic mayor of Oslo since the Reformation.”

Monica Fein of Argentina’s Mercociudades (Network of cities in Latin America) stated her goal, “We want sustainable development, without excluding the extremely poor” and “We fundamentally want to leave our children and future generations with a planet that isn’t contaminated.”

Madrid’s leftist mayor, Manuela Carmena, stated that sexual slavery occurs in the world because “society has not been educated enough about sexuality” and prostitution exists. The mayors heard the testimony of two Mexican women who were victims of modern-day slavery.

San Francisco mayor, Edwin Lee, pledged to “completely phase out the use of petroleum diesel” in its city’s vehicle fleet and replace them with renewable diesel by the end of 2015.

The New Orleans mayor, Mitch Landrieu, warned about environmental degradation, citing the case of New Orleans and its Hurricane Katrina disaster in 2005, including the 2010 BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. His city supplies one-quarter of all the seafood produced in the U.S. and more oil and gas to the U.S. than Saudi Arabia. “But that economic benefit comes at a cost,” he said.

Mayor Chammany of Kochi talked about the Indian caste system, “one of the worst forms of slavery known to man.”

Mayor of Stockholm stated that the 2015 Paris conference must “exclude fossil fuels as an option and just focus on long-term sustainable energy sources.” Mayor Karin Wanngaard proudly announced that 75 percent of her city’s public transportation runs on renewable energy. Her goal is to make Stockholm fossil-fuel free by 2040.

The mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio, promised to reduce New York City’s emissions 40 percent by 2030.

Jerry Brown, the governor of California had very harsh words for climate skeptics – they are “seeking to falsify the scientific record” in the process of trying to “bamboozle” the public with their propaganda, putting “troglodytes” in office rather than environmentally-responsible leaders. These bamboozlers try to convince scientists, politicians, and the public that global warming is a fraud. The climate change skeptics are “deniers of the obvious science.” I am not sure what the definition of “obvious science” is, it must be a close cousin to consensus science, certainly not based on fact. http://cruxnow.com/life/2015/07/21/updates-on-the-mayors-conference-at-the-vatican/

Robertson said that “Vancouver is among a group of cities focused on eliminating fossil fuels and shifting towards 100 percent renewable energy.” That will be interesting to watch. http://vancouverobserver.com/news/vancouver-mayor-energized-vatican-climate-conference

The Vatican tried to connect climate change with human trafficking by claiming that global warming is responsible for creating “environmental refugees” who flee their homes because of drought or other climate-caused natural disasters. This begs the question, was climate change responsible for slavery in Egypt, in the Roman Empire, the Ottoman Empire, the Middle East, Africa, or modern slaves in Islamic cultures?

The Paris climate negotiations in December (Who would have thought that humans could modify climate and negotiate it?) will have a final declaration that states, among other things, that “human-induced climate change is a scientific reality and its effective control is a moral imperative for humanity.”

The document demands not just transition to low-carbon and renewable energy, but making “urgent investments” in sustainable development, rich countries footing the investment bill for the poor countries and divesting away from the military. Who needs an army, a navy, or an air force when the world is so peaceful and non-threatening?

As my good friend Chriss R. pointed out, this was an extraordinary event for Marxist politicians from around the globe to meet at the Vatican with the pope to discuss something that has nothing to do with religion or the salvation of souls. Furthermore, who paid for the very expensive trip of each mayor who flew to Rome on 60 different jets spewing carbon into the atmosphere?

If it was the taxpayers, how does that sit with atheists and spiritualists for their politicians to chat up a religious leader? Don’t they usually reject the church and vociferously demand separation of church and state? If it was the Catholic Church that paid for the trip of all these socialists, why did the church not use the money to help the starving poor instead?

Pope Francis is quoted by National Geographic as having said, “It’s very entertaining to be Pope.” Is it helpful to use a powerful moral authority to influence something that is not real, has no basis in real science or fact, and it will definitely cause more poverty around the globe?

The deep de-carbonization meeting in Paris, The 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21) is likely to draw at least 10,000 government and UN representatives, all arriving on carbon-spewing jets. But the rules of the new climatism science are just for ordinary people, not for those who control the world. http://cop21.gouv.fr/en

Deep decarbonizing is a must for the masses. As Dr. Klaus Kaiser stated, “How else can you reduce the world population from 7 to 8 billion to fewer than one billion which Professor HJ Schellnhuber opines as necessary? He is the director of the Potsdam Institut fuer Klimafolgenforschung,” a German government-sponsored entity for “climate impact research.” The Pontiff named “Schellnhuber to the 400-year old institution of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences (PAS).” Schellnhuber is the co-author of the encyclical on climate change, Laudato Si. http://canadafreepress.com/article/74512
