Submission to Communism

With the help of technology, technocrat corporations have enabled those in control of our country to find out everything there is to know about each and every citizen.

With the help of AI, scouring our social media platforms facilitated by the development of the Internet, bureaucrats and unelected controllers spend no time to worry about how to collect information and build dossiers on all citizens to keep them submissive and compliant.

There is no freedom of speech on social media platforms. Simple posts are removed under the guise that it violates “community standards,” i.e. any post with a prayer, or that uses the word God, posts against Marxism and wokeism, posts criticizing the woke Olympics, posts against the globalist digital currency, against global communism, or anything the social media platform owners dislike.

There was a time when the Soviets and their communist satellite countries in Eastern Europe and around the globe had to spend a lot of time, money, effort, and manpower to control the populations living under those police states.

There were many ways to control their citizens:  fear, beatings, jail, torture, death, starvation, small wages, gun confiscation, money confiscation, land theft, house theft, savings theft, inadequate medical care, empty stores, empty pharmacies, taking children away, no job promotions, denial of travel, higher education, and denial of basic human rights and freedoms.

Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa, who defected to the west but was once Ceausescu’s right hand, wrote in his book, Red Horizons, about the conversation between the dear leader and his wife Elena, who was unhappy that their communist underlings could not find out who wrote an anonymous letter sent to Radio Free Europe in Munich, criticizing the cult of personality of the dictator and his wife.

She suggested that the dictator should fire everyone and then should bring in the army. Irritated, Ceausescu asked his wife how the army could find out who wrote the letter. She answered sternly and grimly, “If they can’t figure it out, then they’ll just shoot every other suspect.” All it took in the communist regime was to be a declared suspect and you died without the benefit of a trial.

If that suggestion was not extreme enough, the dictator ordered that in three months’ time all Romanians’ handwritten samples had to be collected, starting with children in first grade. Retirees and housewives were to be forced to fill out an absurd form to obtain their handwriting samples.

He also ordered samples of every typewriter in use at home or in offices around the country which then had to be registered with the Security police. He decreed that renting or lending a typewriter was also forbidden to all Romanian citizens, and the police had to authorize ownership.

When the dear leader was told by one of his minions that such an order would be unconstitutional for private citizens, Ceausescu responded, “Did the Constitution make us, or did we make the Constitution? We made the Constitution. We will change it if we have to.” Law, order, human rights, and the lives of all citizens were worth nothing to the communist dictator and his wife.

Ceausescu’s behavior had a Soviet precedent. When Khrushchev wanted to institute the death penalty for speculators, he was told by the public prosecutor general of the Soviet Union, Roman Rudenko, that the law did not authorize the courts to do that.

Khrushchev responded, “Who is the boss, we, or the law? We are masters over the law, not the law over us – so we must change the law, we must see to it that it is possible to execute these speculators.”

The Presidium of the Supreme Soviet issued a decree introducing the death penalty for the crime of speculating.” Why were there speculators (often from the lower ranks of the Communist Party or their informers) in the first place? Because the economy was horrific, people were starving and would pay high prices to speculators to buy food and medicines on the black market.

Communists had no qualms about eliminating people from the opposition or even their friends who became too competitive and thus inconvenient; they manufactured crimes to dispose of them. Countless individuals of the communists’ inconvenient friends and of the opposition were thus sentenced to death or “disappeared” in gulags.

Not even famous people escaped the control of Ceausescu’s communist regime. The famous Dr. Aslan, the founder of the first geriatric institute, who made money abroad in the 1970s in the west with her Gerovital pills and cosmetic creams, was not allowed to keep any of the money she made in foreign currency.

Gen. Pacepa described in his book the event when Aslan was arrested at Bucharest airport with $800 hidden in her hair bun. The communist regime was infamous for confiscating the earnings of famous athletes as well.

It seems that today, in our country, it does not take a whole lot to become a suspect and displease those in control; all one must do is contribute money to the non-communist political side, vote for a non-communist candidate, or attend a peaceful rally. The repercussions and the fear of being jailed prevent any future participation in political dissent. That is how the Marxists win.

How Did He Subjugate So Many?

When I was growing up, I could not understand how an entire country was subdued into acceptance of their fate of living under the oppression of a tyrant installed in power by the Communist Party and the Soviet Bolshevik agents, a tyrant who was previously a shoe cobbler in his village of Scornicesti.

Yet this man, as Funderburk wrote, was able to “erase the past and construct a new man and society dependent upon the Communist Party and its organs of terror and intimidation.”  People were kept under the heavy boot of oppression because they were hungry, cold, controlled by abject fear, disarmed, and starved into submission by a huge army of Marxist cadre and well-armed militias and soldiers, composed of brothers, fathers, neighbors, and friends.

A few citizens in the more sparsely populated areas in the Carpathian Mountains, hid in the woods and kept their weapons, in opposition to the communists, but they were eventually rounded up and killed.

There was no place to hide from the well-paid informants of the Communist Party; often snitches were their own awfully close relatives, distant relatives, and even “best” friends turned informants, not because they believed in such an oppressive ideology, but because they wanted more food, medicine, medical care, and other scarce survival items.

Communist propaganda played each day on radio, television, political meetings, children’s shows, schools, and printed in newspapers, magazines, and on glossy posters. The music accompanying the daily propaganda was martial, somber, frightening, and deafening.

The Dear Leader was spoken of in biblical terms, he was the “creator of thought,” the “giver of strength,” and, in a Ministry of Truth Orwellian vein, he was the One who gave meaning and justification to our thoughts and ideas. Without him, a God-like figure, we were worth nothing, we were dust under his shoes.

We owned nothing in that miserable life, but we were NOT happy about it, just controlled into submission by fear and indoctrination. And it showed! You would have been hard-pressed to meet one smiling person on the street. Everybody frowned and crowded in never-ending store lines, on buses, and on trains, like sardines in a can. The evil and guilty, being driven around in fancy government-owned cars, controlled the good and the innocent.

Ceausescu was compared by his apparatchiks, poets, teachers, movie makers, writers, reporters, to famous historical figures like Stefan Cel Mare (Stephen the Great), Vlad Tepes (Vlad the Impaler), the bloody thirsty prince from the mid-1400s who disposed of his enemies through strange methods of incarceration, torture, savage beatings, or summary and quite painful executions.

Ceausescu was, according to posters and recitations we had to make daily in meetings at school and work, the framer of the “multilaterally developed socialist society and Romania’s advance to communism.” All we knew was the reality of gurgling empty tummies, bare pantries, and headaches from insufficient daily intake of calories.

Ceausescu was aggrandized to the point that he was featured in every classroom, every office, every workshop, every factory, inside public buildings, outside buildings, in sculptures, portraits, military decorations, churches, icons, paintings, banners, statues, monuments, poems, plays, and monologues. Nothing happened in Romania without his approval. His elaborate portrait was next to those of ancient kings, princes, and voivodes.

On national holidays such as August 23, celebrating the victory over fascism, or the anniversary of the union of Transylvania with the rest of Romania, we had to march on the main boulevard, dressed in our pioneers’ uniform with the red bandana around the neck, carrying flags, placards with phrases like ‘Long live communism,’ and portraits of the Dear Leader; but it was not a real celebration for that occasion, it was a total deification of the tyrant, “the father of the country,” “the light of knowledge and wisdom,” and many other absurd and outlandish phrases invented by communists to venerate the cobbler dictator and his semi-literate wife who “owned” a scientific doctoral degree she never earned.

We lived in an alternate universe, The Twilight Zone of sorts, where bad people were in charge and good people were slaves to communism, to the Dear Leader and his family, who lived in the lap of luxury in exorbitant villas thanks to confiscatory stealing from citizens and the theft of the national patrimony and impoverishment of the country. His foreign bank accounts held millions of dollars while the oppressed masses starved.

During plenary meetings, worshipping party members and those in attendance stood up every two or three minutes, clapping and shouting praises for the glorification of the dictator Ceausescu. While it was standard protocol to stand during the entrance of a country’s leader, U.S. Ambassador David Funderburk refused to stand as often after the initial standing at his entrance, and was, according to his recollection, blacklisted.

The worshipping went so far that, on his 67th birthday, Ceausescu was compared to Orion (“Luceafarul”), born at Scornicesti, “Nicolae with a laurel crown.” Imagine the nausea of having to take part in such surreal events.

Nobody dared to mention God on Romanian television, because, to the communists, atheism was their religion and Ceausescu was god. The word God had not been mentioned in the media after the Bolsheviks took over the country.

But one man, Ambassador David B. Funderburk, dared to use the word God in his July 4, 1982, television address to the Romanian people. Ambassador Funderburk recounts in his book, that month’s later church goers in the far north told him how dear and meaningful the word God was to them, knowing that it came from the President of the United States at the time, Ronald Reagan. . .... “Let us pray that God will guide us and future generations in preserving the liberty that is the essence of the American spirit.” (David B. Funderburk, Pinstripes and Reds, Selous Foundation Press, 1987, p. 107)

Ceausescu had an army of controllers on the Communist Party payroll, i.e., the dreaded Securitate, the economic police, the street police, factory activists, school activists, and informants on every city block, street, apartment complex, and each entrance to the many public buildings, churches, schools, hospitals, factories, and libraries.

Nothing was left to chance and everything and everybody was constantly watched. His army worked hard to track the rest of us because they had low level technology, no Internet, computers, and smart phones.

Doctors and nurses were ardent supporters of the police state and highly compliant. Teachers followed the directives of the Ministry of Education. Fear and extra pay to help one survive were strong motivators.

We could not turn to churches for comfort because most priests were also informants to the Securitate and were on Ceausescu’s payroll. They helped keep the praying masses subdued and under control. Churches were kept open for baptisms, weddings, and burials and as a way for Ceausescu to know when the small underground opposition organized events.

Driven by Fear

“Ours may become the first civilization destroyed, not by the power of our enemies, but by the ignorance of our teachers and the dangerous nonsense they are teaching our children. In an age of artificial intelligence, they are creating artificial stupidity.” – Thomas Sowell

Fear is a powerful emotional reaction, rational and irrational. The dictionary defines fear as “an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.”

Fear is ingrained in our human behavior and in animals’ survival instinct. Fear is considered by psychologists a “negative” emotion that can and will often cloud reasoning and common sense and will drive humans and animals alike to behave often in ways that are counterproductive to survival or to a positive outcome.

Animals can detect fear in other animals by smell, sight, and hearing. Scientists have shown that animals smell fear via certain chemicals. Some creatures are better sighted than others, but the hearing is always many times better than humans.

The common elements of fear in humans are the perception of danger (which triggers a response), the seriousness of the danger (the risk of survival or non-survival), and how imminent is the danger (right now or later).

To avoid the unpleasant potential outcomes of fear, we mitigate fear by developing coping mechanisms such as denial, avoidance, and submission. Everyone is unique in her or his response to fear and how they mitigate specific elements of it.

The primary reason millions of people lined up like sheep to get their inoculations, even fighting with those who were deemed by the government as first in line, was fear – fear of death, fear of losing their jobs, fear of being unable to travel to their favorite destinations, fear of being rejected and ostracized at work, fear of not being allowed to shop for food, to enter a doctor’s office, to enter a hospital to get treatment, to eat in a restaurant, go to school, and many others.

In 2020, the abject fear of one virus had become the dominant force driving humanity’s lives, social interaction, and the distance and numbers allowed in any one spot. For many humans, this abject fear still controls their lives to the exclusion of all else.

The government was glad to use fear to control the population, to control elections, to control the economy, to control human interaction, to control religion, flying, schooling, vacations, parks, woods, beaches, concerts, which direction people walked or lined up in order to gain access in public life, to control which businesses stayed closed and which remained open, which jobs were essential and which weren’t, etc.

Fear still drives many Americans to wear masks while in the ocean, while walking alone on the beach, in a forest, on a deserted street, in their own cars alone, and when eating in a restaurant with their spouse. One wonders if they wear the masks to bed.

Fear fuels negative transformations, but it can also fuel positive ones. Once a child accidentally touches a hot plate and suffers a burn, the fear of that pain teaches him/her to never touch something hot or boiling.

Children tend to be fearless; adults harbor a serious dose of fear based on experience, knowledge, or lack thereof, and senior citizens are superlatively fearful because their very existence can be threatened by the wrong physical move.

Fear is triggered by dark places, strange and sudden noises, heights, depths, flying, social interaction/rejection, public speaking, snakes, spiders, rats, mice, scorpions, bears, tigers, gators, abandonment, getting lost at sea, getting lost in the desert, death, dying, drowning, avalanches, choking, disease, contagions, cancer, and many others.

Fear can be exacerbated by unexplainable phobias and severe anxiety with no apparent cause.

Movies use scare tactics to induce fear in viewers – grotesque masks, makeup, frightening music in anticipation of attacks, and other methods. It was reported, for example, that some viewers of the silent film The Phantom of the Opera fainted in theaters when the character’s mask was removed.

Daily scare tactics of a powerful person on a White House platform, issuing dire warnings against not wearing a mask or not social distancing, worked very well as proven by the Covid-19 public fear.

Public service announcements (PSAs) with manufactured consensus science worked very well as a tool of fear mongering.

Fear may or may not increase the chance of survival. The most recent example of this perception was the face mask still required in some places and still worn voluntarily by people two years after the Covid-19 pandemic. This fear is irrational as masks were not effective in controlling the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Walter Canon described in the early twentieth century the “flight-or-fight” response to fear. Human reactions to fear are fight, freeze, faint, and flee.

Neuroscientist Joseph Ledoux wrote that humans are different from animals in perceiving fear because they perceive it as a feeling. The amygdala appears to be the “fear center of the brain.”

Research found that two types of neurons are responsible for fear response:

-      Flight is triggered by activation of cells which express corticotropin

-      Freezing is triggered by activation of cells which express somatostatin

“The researchers suggest that we can switch rapidly between responses to ensure the highest chance of survival.” The Four Types of Fear - Foundation for Conscious Living

Media and government-driven fear of massive population die-off was used to control billions of people who were forced into untested, multiple “vaccinations” despite the mounting injuries and deaths. When that fear was not enough to inject everyone with highly experimental gene-therapy shots, government strict quarantine and massive job-firings for non-compliance were used. World-wide bureaucrats learned from this two-year experiment that abject fear can be effective in population control but destroys the world’s economies and irreparably alters their lives forever.

Disable the Fear Campaign

“The lockdown policy was a deliberate intent to destabilize the global economy.” – Michel Chossudovsky, Ph.D.

In an interview with Taylor Hudak, Michel Chossudovsky, Ph.D., author, editor, and Professor Emeritus of Economics at the University of Ottawa, discussed the deceptions and economic disasters resulting from the global and deliberate government lockdowns intended for two weeks to flatten the curve from a flu virus. The U.S. government was the model which 193 governments, members of the United Nations, plus the Vatican (Holy See), around the world followed to stem the spread of a mysterious virus. Michel Chossudovsky Interview - Engineered Destabilization Of The Global Economy & The "Reimagining" (thelastamericanvagabond.com)

On January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) through its director, Tedros, “declared a public health emergency of international concern.” At the time, there were 83 Covid-positive cases of flu worldwide. https://www.euro.who.int/en/health-topics/health-emergencies/international-health-regulations/news/news/2020/2/2019-ncov-outbreak-is-an-emergency-of-international-concern

By the time the WHO declared the pandemic, there were 1,078 cases of flu outside of China. Several hundred cases of that were on one ship, Diamond Princess. COVID-19 outbreak on the Diamond Princess cruise ship: estimating the epidemic potential and effectiveness of public health countermeasures - PubMed (nih.gov)

Air travel with China was stopped by President Trump, a move which snowballed into a ban around the world. Chossudovsky said that “most of the airlines in Latin America were bankrupted” and some in southeast Asia as the result of the Covid lockdowns.

Professor Chossudovsky spoke of the possibility of insider trading and the fact that the “killer virus” fear campaign coupled with Dr. Tedros’ timely “alerts” of the need to implement a worldwide pandemic, “indelibly served the interests of Wall Street speculators and hedge funds” managers.

Professor Chossudovsky explained that if one has “fore-knowledge” of a declared emergency such as a pandemic, it is impossible not to speculate on such “fore-knowledge.” There was a huge increase in wealth which was made on the day of the announcement. The stock market crashed following the announcement, redistributing the losses of ordinary people from their pension funds, mutual funds savings, and investments to the rich who profited greatly from the “fore-knowledge.”

But the virus did not trigger the stock market crash per se. It was the “fore-knowledge” and the massive speculation that led to the crash which eventually affected the real economy.

On March 11, 2020 Niel Ferguson and his team’s faulty model of casualties produced the study which was financed by the Gates Foundation and was used as a scientific foundation and justification for the lockdowns. His team’s computer modelling predicted half a million dead in the U.K. and 2.2 million in the U.S. Tedros announced the pandemic. Neil Ferguson's Coronavirus Imperial College Model -- ‘Professor Lockdown’ Resigns in Disgrace | National Review

Dr. Chossudovsky stated that on January 21--24, 2020, the World Economic Forum met in Davos, Switzerland, and Moderna representatives, business leaders and the WHO director Tedros were in attendance, discussing the mRNA vaccine before the public health emergency was declared. https://www.weforum.org/events/world-economic-forum-annual-meeting-2020

As soon as the U.S President accepted the predictions of the two Covid tsars brought in, people were locked down in their homes world-wide, following the U.S. example, could not work, the companies closed, the service economies were closed, and the global economy partially collapsed. It was all done to “save lives.”

There were about 44,000 cases on that date, not even close to a “killer virus,” it was more like a seasonal influenza, a public health concern for sure, but not a pandemic. “The lockdown was a closure of the global economy – a globalized bankruptcy program,” said Chossudovsky. “They closed down planet earth” for a “killer virus.”

The impact was devastating, an economic crisis of major proportions – small and middle-size companies were wiped out, bankruptcies of larger chain companies that have been around for decades, large airlines wiped out, shopping malls, travel industry destroyed, hotel industry, restaurant industry, mom and pop boutique stores, grocery stores, tourist industry in France, Italy destroyed – all was engineered, in his opinion so that the global economy would destabilize, resulting in concentration of financial power in a few billionaire hands. More negative outcomes:

-          Most of the airlines in Latin America were bankrupt

-          The airline fleet was mothballed in the desert

-          Food and other staples were hard to find

-          Farmers dumped their produce - being unable to service grocery stores, school cafeterias, and restaurants

-          People lost their jobs and homes

-          Mental health was terribly affected for all ages

-          Marriages broke up and domestic violence escalated

-          Schools were closed

-          Children were forced to wear face masks in schools eight hours a day by their dictatorial teachers who took their masks off periodically to breathe

-          Small and middle-sized businesses were closed for good while liquor stores and marijuana “medical” stores were deemed essential and stayed open

-          Mom and pop grocery stores and hardware stores were closed while huge chains remained open

-          Hotels and restaurants closed permanently

-          Beauty shops were forced to close

-          Gyms and pools were closed

-          Parks and vast state and national forests were closed to human access

-          Humans lost their faces and their identities behind a suffocating mask

-          The fear of contagion drummed up by constant public announcements and media driven panic created a sick phobia among a large swath of the population akin to a severe and incurable mental illness

Economically speaking, the billionaires will buy out the bankrupt assets for pennies on the dollar, will buy up agricultural land, small and medium-sized farms, shopping malls, and other financial assets of the now bankrupt owners, victims of the forced lockdown. Some assets were bought at ‘negative prices,’ Chossudovsky stated. “The acquisition of real assets” and control of the destabilized economies were the ultimate goals of the lockdowns.

The increase in wealth accumulation during the lockdown period is documented by the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) in Washington, D.C., a progressive organization. Highlights include:

-          Among the nation’s 657 billionaire, wealth increased $1.3 trillion since the Covid lockdowns

-          80 million Americans lost work between March 21, 2020-March 21, 2021

-          18 million Americans are collecting unemployment

-          There are 43 newly minted billionaires since the lockdowns (i.e., Airbnb, Door Dash, Snowflake), added to the 614 existing ones

-          Combined wealth increase of the 15 billionaires with the greatest growth in absolute wealth was $563 billion or 82%

-          Topping the chart were Elon Musk ($137.5 billion richer, Jeff Bezos ($65 billion richer), and Mark Zuckerberg ($47 billion richer).  A Year of Billionaire Pandemic Gains - Institute for Policy Studies (ips-dc.org)

Across the world, in the remittance economy of India, farmers come to cities to earn money in street commerce, they do not have homes, and they live outdoors. The government decided to send these people back to their villages during the lockdown, but they had no money to buy transportation, they walked, and some died on their journey back. “This is genocide,” the professor added, “transition from poverty to despair, to mortality.” Their death certificates could have read death from Covid-19. Some countries have changed the criteria of death without doing an autopsy because they were too expensive and too few hospitals were authorized by law to do autopsies on Covid-19 patients.

As deaths from Covid-19 escalated on official reports and in the media, deaths from flu and other diseases all but disappeared. The reported death toll from Covid-19 is “an element of the fear campaign,” Dr. Chossudovsky added, and it has been done all over the planet. “The data is questionable, and the PCR test is invalid.”

The massive human invasion on our southern border by illegals, who wear no masks, do not practice social distancing, and are not “vaccinated,” is not subjected to the lockdowns that Americans have had to endure. Illegals are released on their own recognizance into the American population – the next Democrat voters and pew fillers in churches who sponsor them once here. The unaccompanied minors are flown by our government to southeastern towns in the cover of night and resettled quietly among the American population. The largely male group of unaccompanied “minors” become potential recruits in the violent MS-13 gang in the U.S.

None of the above could have been possible without the massive fear campaign to which Americans and the rest of the world were subjected to non-stop by the mainstream media, the Covid-19 medical czars, and the compliant medical professionals.  Disable the fear campaign, the briberies, threats of more lockdowns, and the pressure to “vaccinate” immediately in exchange for the freedom to exist and do what you did before the lockdowns, and the countries and their economies may begin to heal and rebound despite what Michel Chossudovski calls the “engineered destabilization of the global economy.”

Encourage people to go back to school and work and disincentivize extended unemployment and endless stimulus checks when so many jobs are available and there are no takers because welfare is more generous.

Socialist Citizen

Professor Emeritus Michael Walzer paraphrased Marx’s description of the socialist citizen (from The German Ideology): “Imagine the day in the life of a socialist citizen. He hunts in the morning, fishes in the afternoon, rears cattle in the evening, and plays the critic after dinner. Yet he is neither hunter, nor fisherman, nor shepherd, nor critic; tomorrow he may select another set of activities, just as he pleases.”

The envisioned socialist citizen in America will engage in “participatory democracy.” In theory, a participatory democracy’s citizens would have individual participation in political decisions and would make policies that would affect their lives directly and there would be no elected representatives making such decisions.

The socialist republic I grew up in had this type of participatory democracy in place. People in good standing with the Communist Party could make pre-determined suggestions during union meetings but the Party had the ultimate decision-making power. The rest of the population, who were not members of the Communist Party had no input in the decision-making process. The Party tried to keep membership selective to about ten percent of the population.

Was this socialist society a “self-governing community of equals?” No, citizens were only equal in their poverty, neediness, misery, and lack of human rights and freedoms. They could not do as they pleased and be what Marx called “social men and women, organizing and planning their own fulfillment in spontaneous activity.” They were serfs to the all-powerful state ruled by the Party.

Often academic and philosophical theories, even those well intentioned, diverge greatly from the reality of implementing such theories. Other times dangerous philosophies can cause misery and death to millions around the globe. Such was the power of Karl Marx’s ideas.

Self-government takes a lot of time, self-control, and is very demanding, if it is implemented correctly, socialists argue.

“The idea of citizenship on the left has always been overwhelming, suggesting a positive frenzy of activity and often involving the repression of all feelings except political ones.”

Jean Jacques Rousseau (1712-1778), a socialist, considered the father of modern left-wing, had disparaged the worth of one’s private life. As the main philosopher of the French Revolution, he attacked private property and “declared the government’s goal should be to provide freedom, equality, and justice.” The idea that government can provide freedom is contemptible.

Citizen must be, above all, “dutiful,” placing “common good, the success of the movement, the safety of the community, above their own delight or well-being, always.”

Such “virtuous” citizens could be produced by rote indoctrination, transformation, or rigorous instruction/brainwashing.

Rousseau suggested the creation of the “virtuous” citizen through an “authoritarian family, a rigid sexual code, censorship of the arts, sumptuary laws, mutual surveillance, and the systematic indoctrination of children.”

Sumptuary laws refer to limiting private spending on food and personal items. I am familiar with this form of socialist oppression as the dear leader always rationed our food, issued rationing cards, punished food hoarding and black marketeers, and passed laws that decreed how many calories per day people engaged in various professions could consume, and how much they could weigh.

Socialism is coercive, forcing its citizens to “volunteer” for action and to labor on weekends for the public good in addition to their jobs in factories or offices wherever they are deemed to further the political or economic socialist cause.

Students are exploited and forced to work with no pay for weeks during the crop harvest season and the crop planting season.

Citizens living in a socialist state are forced to donate time and energy to the socialist cause and the “participatory democracy” in which they are just warm bodies for political optics, filling the auditoriums or the dear leader’s parade grounds. It is “popular participation” but not voluntary – it is demanded by the state and driven by the fear of punishment.

Walzer wrote that “participatory democracy means the sharing of power among the [socialist] activists. Socialism means the rule of the people with the most evenings to spare.” If citizens” do not govern themselves, they will, willy-nilly, be governed by their activist fellows.” Who were these activist fellows of the 20th century who ruled behind the Soviet ideology with an iron fist? They were “full-timers, militants, and professionals.” (p. 310)

The militants, in Walzer’s opinion, represent themselves. So, in a future socialist society, he recommends that participatory democracy must be paralleled by representative democracy.

Why was the rest of the socialist society I grew up in suppressed by the militant apparatchiks/activists on the Communist Party payroll? The main reason was that none of the citizens were armed (guns were the first things confiscated by activist goons, followed by private property) while the Communist Party engaged a huge and well-paid military, a large cadre of informers, a large police force, security police, and economic police.  Nobody could make one wrong step without the state knowing about it. And they did it without the help of high tech.

People stayed away from the Communist Party membership ranks because they were not committed to the cause they saw daily as a big, blatant lie, they were morally beaten, economically beaten, starved, and deathly afraid.

Citizens created undergrounds to bypass the oppressive world of the Socialist/Communist Party ideology. They learned coping skills to avoid the socialist apparatchik tyranny in which freedom of speech and assembly were deadly.

Today, three decades since the “fall” of socialism/communism in Eastern Europe, citizens have regained their freedom of speech and assembly but sadly now nobody listens to them, especially politicians.

The press repeats the same globalist lies to their people thus colluding with corrupt politicians in their efforts to install a new world order, socialism on such a grander scale that Marx and Stalin would be shocked.

2020: A Painful Year in U.S. History

“Are the testers sent home for 14 days every time they come in contact with someone who tests positive?”

2020 is the year when we were willingly held hostage and still are to the communist flu.  I am not talking about the Chinese Corona-19 virus developed in the Wuhan laboratory. I am talking about the long and unending months of unnecessary lockdowns, destruction of small business America, complete transformation of our school system, public and university, the destruction of our stellar health care, and the complete obliteration of our Constitution.

2020 is the year when leftist America, driven to panic, fear, and misinformation by the main stream media and our own government at all levels but especially local and state governments, fundamentally transformed life for the rest of America into a socialist cesspool of corruption, lies, and lawlessness.

2020 is the year which will remain in history as the year when humanity cowered in fear and panic over a flu virus with a high spread rate but low mortality, mortality enhanced in blue states by the use of ventilators and the governors’ refusal to allow doctors to prescribe existent medication that worked.

2020 is the year when doctors became virtual puppets of the socialist healthcare system, refusing to see patients in person for fear that the government will take away their licenses if they keep their Hippocratic oath to do no harm to their patients. Fear is a powerful motivator and can make good people become cowards.

2020 is the year when philanthropist Bill Gates became the nation’s medical advisor and advocate for his vaccine that might cure Covid-19.

2020 is the year of the first rushed vaccine. Without its miracle cure, people must remain hunkered down in their own homes and not come out until they can prove with a chip implant in their arms that they had been vaccinated.

2020 is the year when Dr. Fauci, a decades-long Washingtonian bureaucrat became the nation’s health czar, who told us that, unless we wear masks indefinitely, our lives will never go back to normal.

2020 is the year when bureaucrats took away our Easter, vacations, cruises, travel, beauty salons, barber shops, Thanksgiving, and Christmas and we agreed like the obedient sheep that we are.

2020 is the year when nursing homes locked up their long-term residents indefinitely for their own good and families were declined access. Suicides in all walks of life went up significantly.

2020 is the year when the old normal died and the “new normal” was installed by the communist left in America and nobody objected at all. Expensive public service announcements with sleep-inducing music reminded us of the “new normal.”

2020 is the year when thousands of paid protesters rioted in the streets of many Democrat towns with no worries of Covid-19 spread, but families had to hold virtual funerals. At the same time, a criminal with a long rap sheet got a stately funeral with thousands of mourners crowded near each other.

2020 is the year when schools were closed indefinitely, and “teaching” became virtual. We are not sure yet what happens to learning, retention, the students’ eyes, and mental health.

2020 is the year when we lost our faces and our identity, covered by a permanent and obligatory face diaper without which we cannot shop in grocery stores, fly, or enter any public buildings.

2020 is the year when 900 plus ordinary Americans were placed on a no-fly list because they refused to wear a mask.

2020 is the year when we lost our faith and our churches. The Corona-19 virus is very discriminatory – it can differentiate between rioting crowds, protesting crowds, and crowds in a theater or church.

2020 is the year we lost movie theaters, theaters in general, performance venues in parks and stadiums, and museums.

2020 is the year dominated by everything socialist and communist, supported by billionaires with money to burn and a wickedly Marxist agenda.

2020 is the year we lost law and order when political corruption and lawlessness had reached its zenith. Police was defunded in leftist towns and the population wondered why crime had skyrocketed.

2020 is the year when the only president in history had become the subject of impeachment days before he was even sworn in.

2020 is the year when a staged coup by our own government to remove a duly elected president from office has been unmasked but the culprits were never punished and are still in office doing harm to our country.

2020 is the year the Democrat Party became the Socialist Democrat Party of America, composed of all anti-Americans who wish to harm our country for political and financial gain.

2020 is the year when all civility and respect for authority, elders, and an elected office have died.

2020 is the year when the hatred from the left dominated domestic and international news.

2020 is the year when an innocent President that the left hates with an inexplicable and irrational fervor had been questioned, vilified, demonized, trashed, made fun of, threatened, and dragged into courts continuously. Experts have called this illness the Trump Derangement Syndrome which apparently has no cure. On November 3, a drug called Bidenol will be tested countrywide.

2020 is the year when President Trump has achieved more to further peace in the world and the Middle East than any other prior president. He was acquitted of the phony impeachment.

2020 is the year when technocracy took away our freedom of speech and started controlling what we read, watch, and listen to. Their moderators put us into our places of obscurity and silence.

2020 is the year when many large and medium retailers went bankrupt while the favored oligarchs and big crony capitalists thrived.

2020 is the year when the justice system went to the dark side and judges became overt activists and advocates for socialism and communism instead of being impartial.

2020 is the year marking the beginning of the last throes of the Constitutional Republic, a sharp decline decades in coming, whittled away, and stripped of its liberties bit by bit, like water chiseling away at a rock.

2020 is the year when our Constitutional Republic exists in name only, comatose and placed into a gilded coffin, waiting for the last nails to be struck before it is completely buried in a vault in the Washington Swamp.

2020 is the year of global communist media, global communist sycophants, and of the radical greens.

2020 is the year when law and order was replaced by criminality, treason, abject government corruption, riots, violent protests, and communist activism disguised as “social justice” and “systemic racism.” Innocent people not wearing a mask were fined or jailed, while hard-core criminals were released for fear of Covid-19 outbreaks in prison.

2020 is the year when nobody died of any other disease except Covid-19 and many got rich making masks, ventilators, novel and expensive drugs, and experimental vaccines.

2020 was the year of the unemployed on government stimulus checks.

2020 was the year of teachers and administrators refusing to go back to work for fear of Covid-19, but the paychecks rolled in.

2020 is the year when civility, morality, family, faith, modesty, patriotism, nationality, borders, honor, courage, and marriage have succumbed to leftist evil.  Everything good is replaced by malevolence and love is replaced by vitriolic hate created by media’s manufactured reality.

In the art imitating life category, the infamous Matrix is holding Sully by his leg over a precipice, and asks him if he remembers when he told him that he promised he would kill him last; Sully is dropped over the cliff while Matrix says ominously, “I lied.”

Update:

We end 2020 on an even lower note of destruction on November 3, 2020, the presidential election date when communism finally took permanent root in America through deception, lies, decades-long media and school indoctrination, voting fraud, ignorant voters, and riots, the year when the best president in my lifetime lost to a communist candidate with dementia and his VP pick, a radical Marxist. So ends the storied history of the best country in the world, the United States of America.

The World Blew a Major Gasket and Globalists Cheered

The world blew a major gasket over the Coronavirus and destroyed booming economies. How will it handle the next health crisis, put everyone in shackles and those who cough and sneeze in quarantines (Latin for 40 days) that last a vague and undecided time? As my wise grandma used to say, “the country is burning, and the old lady is combing her hair.”

The virus is real and treatable, however, according to the Washington Times, “COVID-19 will go down as one of the political world’s biggest, most shamefully overblown, overhyped, overly and irrationally inflated and outright deceptively flawed responses to a health matter in American history, one that was carried largely on the lips of medical professionals who have no business running a national economy or government.” https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/apr/28/coronavirus-hype-biggest-political-hoax-in-history/?utm_campaign=shareaholic&utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=socialnetwork&fbclid=IwAR0ABYRu4VAqiEG259cThCgL0ENmA-C81k3W_jLPjhBR7LKAENASW0G3UTU

Depending on where you live, the government either ignored the crisis, i.e., Sweden, and let the herd immunity run its course, or instituted a complete lockdown of the country and of the economy similar to a martial law, with police and the military controlling the comings and goings of the population who were only allowed to go to grocery stores and pharmacies.

People who had other ailments stayed home for fear of dying of COVID-19 in the hospital and some died in their homes of heart attacks or other perhaps treatable illnesses.

Elective surgeries were no longer performed, hospitals were mostly empty, staff and doctors laid off, some doctors offered on line conferences (the patients had to take their own temp and blood pressure), or people languished in pain at home.

A beauty salon operator who defied her business closure order by the state and local governments in Texas went to jail for 7 days, the length of time her salon had been opened without the government’s permission. Hailed as a hero by many, she defied the judge’s orders to stay closed; she explained that making a living to feed one’s hungry family and to pay the bills is not a crime.

The spineless faction of America who hides behind masks in their own cars, homes, and in the woods when alone, chastised her for putting them in mortal danger. They believe that giving up constitutional freedoms is fine if they have their temporary safety. Government stimulus money and unemployment are welcome because they do not have to work – “free money” falling from the proverbial money tree.

Lei Fang and colleagues wrote in the Lancet, Respiratory Medicine, on March 26, 2020 that they extrapolated results from a molecular study of coronaviruses, which showed that this group of viruses uses angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) to target cells on the epithelium of the lungs, intestine, kidneys, and blood vessels. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), would probably share these properties. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7194728/

The scientists also wrote in the Lancet that “The fast-developing pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), which is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), was first reported from Wuhan, China, and has spread globally.”

By March 22, 2020 “among 191 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, the most significant comorbidities with significant effects on mortality were hypertension (30%), diabetes (36%) and coronary heart disease (15%).”

“In an analysis of 201 patients with COVID-19, 84 (42%) patients developed acute respiratory distress syndrome, with hypertension (27%) and diabetes (19%) as the most common comorbidities.” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7194912/

In 1984 Dr. Fauci became director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). In this position, he would have known about the article published in the Virology Journal on August 22, 2005, “Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread.”

The scientists reported that “chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage.”

“Chloroquine is effective in preventing the spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. Favorable inhibition of virus spread was observed when the cells were either treated with chloroquine prior to or after SARS CoV infection. In addition, the indirect immunofluorescence assay described herein represents a simple and rapid method for screening SARS-CoV antiviral compounds.” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1232869/

For 15 years Dr. Fauci must have known that both chloroquine and its milder derivative hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), sold as Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine sulfate), and given to patients for treatment of malaria, Lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis, will both treat a current case of coronavirus (therapeutic) and prevent future cases (prophylactic), making HCQ a cure and a “vaccine” of sorts. The 2005 article stated that “concentrations of 10 μM completely abolished SARS-CoV infection.” They added “chloroquine can effectively reduce the establishment of infection and spread of SARS-CoV.” https://principia-scientific.org/fauci-knew-about-hcq-in-2005-nobody-needed-to-die/
As non-scientists, we must still ask particularly important questions:

(1) If we knew since 2005 that HCQ was effective, why have HCQ, Zithromax, and zinc not been widely used on COVID patients instead of ventilators?

(2) And why have we allowed draconian governors to lock down healthy and frightened populations panicked by the media for so long, eight weeks and counting, instead of allowing herd immunity to take place?
(3) Why have so many life-altering decisions been made not just in the U.S. but all over the world, destroying strong economies such as the U.S. - to develop a vaccine 18 months from now?

(4) Why have we been so decisively influenced by faulty computer modeling?
In the process, people resigned themselves to this forfeiture of so many freedoms in exchange for an imagined temporary safety offered by governments in control. Among the many losses were freedom to earn a living, of speech, of movement, of assembly, and of religion.

The mayor of Kansas City, Missouri demanded that churches record the names and contact information of everyone who attended a “religious gathering” so that the Kansas City Department of Public Health could “quickly trace, test, and isolate individuals.”  https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/may/5/kansas-city-church-surveillance-about-unamerican-i/
I am really stunned and frightened that this is happening in America, in the “free world.” Such neighborly snitching and informing only happened under fascist and communist tyrannical regimes, not in an open society.
