So, You Want to Buy a Car?

Here is another element of socialism/communism that most of you don’t realize what it is - the ability to buy high-priced items such as a car or a house.

For one, poor people, and we were all equally poor, could not afford a car or a home. Should they have saved and scrimped their entire lives collectively in the family, the economic police were always on the prowl, looking for people who had more resources than the socialist/communist man was allowed.

Single family homes were out of reach for the proletarian masses. They had to rent the concrete and steel high-rise apartments while giving up to government confiscation of their single-family homes and their land for “the good of the people,” who needed more agricultural land.

As a socialist/communist economy was not based on supply and demand, just on the centralized government’s five-year economic plan, there was always a shortage of most consumer goods, including cars. It is true, you could only purchase the one model produced in the country, the Dacia. A Dacia cost around 70,000 lei during the 1970s while a concrete apartment cost around 30,000 lei.

To put the car price into proper perspective, the average salary then was about 800 lei per month. A person would need to save his entire salary for 87.5 months (about 7.5 years) to buy his own Dacia, assuming that the spouse would pay the bills and provide food and clothing.

A buyer had to pay upfront the full price of the car and wait for it to be produced and delivered by the factory whenever they felt like it, the wait list, or the assembly line permitted.

Sometimes the wait was as long as 10 years because the inept economic planners under communism were unable to deliver even the most basic goods like food and medicine, much less a car.

The wait for phone installation was 14 years. You had to go to the post office to order the phone service, pay a fee, and wait. We would ask the frowning clerk jokingly if they would install the phone in the morning or afternoon and she would say, irritably, “what difference does it make, it’s 14 years from now!” Our answer would always be, “the plumber is coming in the morning.” She never appreciated the jocular tone of our sad reality. We got our phone service when I finished high school and dad had applied for it when I was of kindergarten age.

The Communist Party elites, on the other hand, could get whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted. A simple phone call did the trick and the requested item(s) arrived at their house in a relatively short period of time, depending on the type of merchandise.

Another element of communist life was the lack of basic health services and pharmaceutical drugs. We are not there yet in America, but the variety is dwindling for over-the-counter drugs in highly populated areas.

In the socialist economy controlled by a one-party rule, the Communist Party, even vitamins and aspirin were missing on shelves and medicines had to be compounded, providing that the ingredients were available on the market. The capsules that contained the compounded powder were huge and made of dissolvable paper. I cannot tell you, as a child, how difficult it was to swallow these horse-sized capsules filled with bitter tasting, choking powder.

In our American economy, the shortage of goods in highly populated areas is quite steep, including cars. Unless you are extremely rich and buy a high-end priced car or a Tesla, you can no longer walk into a dealership and expect to leave with a car that day even though you may have the money, all of it.

In the Biden economy, you have to reserve a car, put down a certain amount, and wait 6 to 8 months to receive it. For now, it is 6-8 months, but the wait time will increase as we slide more and more towards an inept socialist economy which is not based on supply and demand but is controlled centrally by one party, the communists. Today, the controllers are the socialist Democrat Party and their enablers, the establishment Republicans.

The moral of the story is, be careful what you wish for. Keep vilifying capitalism’s free markets and wishing for a socialist/communist economy, and you shall get it.

The World Blew a Major Gasket and Globalists Cheered

The world blew a major gasket over the Coronavirus and destroyed booming economies. How will it handle the next health crisis, put everyone in shackles and those who cough and sneeze in quarantines (Latin for 40 days) that last a vague and undecided time? As my wise grandma used to say, “the country is burning, and the old lady is combing her hair.”

The virus is real and treatable, however, according to the Washington Times, “COVID-19 will go down as one of the political world’s biggest, most shamefully overblown, overhyped, overly and irrationally inflated and outright deceptively flawed responses to a health matter in American history, one that was carried largely on the lips of medical professionals who have no business running a national economy or government.” https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/apr/28/coronavirus-hype-biggest-political-hoax-in-history/?utm_campaign=shareaholic&utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=socialnetwork&fbclid=IwAR0ABYRu4VAqiEG259cThCgL0ENmA-C81k3W_jLPjhBR7LKAENASW0G3UTU

Depending on where you live, the government either ignored the crisis, i.e., Sweden, and let the herd immunity run its course, or instituted a complete lockdown of the country and of the economy similar to a martial law, with police and the military controlling the comings and goings of the population who were only allowed to go to grocery stores and pharmacies.

People who had other ailments stayed home for fear of dying of COVID-19 in the hospital and some died in their homes of heart attacks or other perhaps treatable illnesses.

Elective surgeries were no longer performed, hospitals were mostly empty, staff and doctors laid off, some doctors offered on line conferences (the patients had to take their own temp and blood pressure), or people languished in pain at home.

A beauty salon operator who defied her business closure order by the state and local governments in Texas went to jail for 7 days, the length of time her salon had been opened without the government’s permission. Hailed as a hero by many, she defied the judge’s orders to stay closed; she explained that making a living to feed one’s hungry family and to pay the bills is not a crime.

The spineless faction of America who hides behind masks in their own cars, homes, and in the woods when alone, chastised her for putting them in mortal danger. They believe that giving up constitutional freedoms is fine if they have their temporary safety. Government stimulus money and unemployment are welcome because they do not have to work – “free money” falling from the proverbial money tree.

Lei Fang and colleagues wrote in the Lancet, Respiratory Medicine, on March 26, 2020 that they extrapolated results from a molecular study of coronaviruses, which showed that this group of viruses uses angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) to target cells on the epithelium of the lungs, intestine, kidneys, and blood vessels. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), would probably share these properties. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7194728/

The scientists also wrote in the Lancet that “The fast-developing pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), which is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), was first reported from Wuhan, China, and has spread globally.”

By March 22, 2020 “among 191 patients hospitalized with COVID-19, the most significant comorbidities with significant effects on mortality were hypertension (30%), diabetes (36%) and coronary heart disease (15%).”

“In an analysis of 201 patients with COVID-19, 84 (42%) patients developed acute respiratory distress syndrome, with hypertension (27%) and diabetes (19%) as the most common comorbidities.” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7194912/

In 1984 Dr. Fauci became director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). In this position, he would have known about the article published in the Virology Journal on August 22, 2005, “Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread.”

The scientists reported that “chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage.”

“Chloroquine is effective in preventing the spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. Favorable inhibition of virus spread was observed when the cells were either treated with chloroquine prior to or after SARS CoV infection. In addition, the indirect immunofluorescence assay described herein represents a simple and rapid method for screening SARS-CoV antiviral compounds.” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1232869/

For 15 years Dr. Fauci must have known that both chloroquine and its milder derivative hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), sold as Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine sulfate), and given to patients for treatment of malaria, Lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis, will both treat a current case of coronavirus (therapeutic) and prevent future cases (prophylactic), making HCQ a cure and a “vaccine” of sorts. The 2005 article stated that “concentrations of 10 μM completely abolished SARS-CoV infection.” They added “chloroquine can effectively reduce the establishment of infection and spread of SARS-CoV.” https://principia-scientific.org/fauci-knew-about-hcq-in-2005-nobody-needed-to-die/
As non-scientists, we must still ask particularly important questions:

(1) If we knew since 2005 that HCQ was effective, why have HCQ, Zithromax, and zinc not been widely used on COVID patients instead of ventilators?

(2) And why have we allowed draconian governors to lock down healthy and frightened populations panicked by the media for so long, eight weeks and counting, instead of allowing herd immunity to take place?
(3) Why have so many life-altering decisions been made not just in the U.S. but all over the world, destroying strong economies such as the U.S. - to develop a vaccine 18 months from now?

(4) Why have we been so decisively influenced by faulty computer modeling?
In the process, people resigned themselves to this forfeiture of so many freedoms in exchange for an imagined temporary safety offered by governments in control. Among the many losses were freedom to earn a living, of speech, of movement, of assembly, and of religion.

The mayor of Kansas City, Missouri demanded that churches record the names and contact information of everyone who attended a “religious gathering” so that the Kansas City Department of Public Health could “quickly trace, test, and isolate individuals.”  https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/may/5/kansas-city-church-surveillance-about-unamerican-i/
I am really stunned and frightened that this is happening in America, in the “free world.” Such neighborly snitching and informing only happened under fascist and communist tyrannical regimes, not in an open society.

Mr. President, Please Open the U.S. Economy!

Mr. President,

Please open up the U.S. economy as soon as possible!

It is very sad that so many people around the world fell ill, suffered, and thousands have lost their lives to this horrible virus. But the rest of the globe must go on living in a terrible economic situation which is about to get much worse than most people realize. Is it a moral crime to care about the sick but to advocate for the living too?

What about the people who are sick with other ailments and cannot see their doctors because the offices are closed? Are they not entitled to be seen by a doctor? Some may die by neglect.

Can you not see that you are playing in the hands of China, Russia, and the global communists who want nothing more but to destroy the U.S. economy in order to make a smoother transition to take over its people for the one global super-state ruled by communists? They want us dependent on China and the communists for all of our needs - economically, medically, financially, educationally, and every other way possible. And you are one courageous American who has derailed their agenda for now.

China already owns so much of this country! Bring back our industries from China, communists are NOT our friends and allies. China owns so much land and businesses in this country already – Hollywood, the media, banks, manufacturing, etc.

Look what they have done to businesses in northern Italy. Here is the real reason Italy had so much Coronavirus – they have hundreds of thousands of legal immigrant Chinese working in the artisanal high end trade of leather and silk and hundreds of thousands of illegal Chinese immigrants as well.

I don’t know where this virus came from but I do understand economics. China is trying to bankrupt our economy in order to come in and buy more businesses in trouble at bottom prices.

Mr. President, you won’t have money to build up our military to defend us against a Chinese military invasion, and they are building up their military like crazy. You will be too busy finding food and medicine for destitute Americans who are already out of jobs. Twenty-five percent of the labor force is out of work.

How are you going to build tanks with steel from China? What if they change their minds and refuse to ship it after they’ve taken our money?

I am not so sure the economy is going to bounce right back up as some ecstatic economists have stated – “as soon as the lockdown is over, people will go back to work and everything will be fine.”  Small businesses, single family owned, do not have the ability to bounce back like a corporation which can raise money by issuing more stock or get huge government bailouts. Small business owners rely on revenue, their savings, and loans; they can’t raise capital any other way. After weeks of lockdown, how many small business owners, the back bone of America, will be able to survive and rehire their former employees?

Mr. President, can you not see that the Democrats are 100 percent socialists/communists now and don’t give a flip about our country? They investigate you non-stop in order to deflect what they are doing to this country, the fundamental transformation to socialism, on its way to communism.

And half of America is so brain-washed by the public school education that they think communism is great. You have to fight them at the ballot box as well because they cheat and lie.

Build that wall already! If the countless new illegals that crossed our borders so far would not have come here to sanctuary cities, we might not have had this Coronavirus invasion. And their illegal votes might not have flipped Virginia socialist last November.

We need our second amendment, we need our guns to fight a potential communist invasion and to protect ourselves from government intrusion. We might even need our guns to protect our food supply from looters.

Stop giving money to churches and church-sponsored NGOs to bring illegals into this country. Churches have been infiltrated by communists as well and they are no longer preaching the gospel to their parishioners. They are preaching globalism, a mega state ruled by communists.

Americans are too ignorant and naive to realize that the communist ideology has been the most destructive force in history, killing at least 100 million innocents.

Stop giving money to the U.N. and all the tin pot dictatorships around the world. The WHO is a bureaucratic organization run by third world despots. They hate America and would love to see its downfall.

Stop depending so much on computer modeling. The results are as faulty as the incorrect data which had been input by “experts” with nefarious agendas but pretending to care for the people. Just like the global warming modeling scam, the data spewed out garbage because faulty input readings and variables were used.

Mr. President, can you not see who is pulling  the Coronavirus policy strings in your White House? A real practicing physician would not be discounting a potential life-saving drug like hydroxychloroquine for his patients, but your Coronavirus tsars do because they are political hacks supporting their boss Bill Gates, who has invested a lot of money in a vaccine with which he wants population control of the globe. Can you not see they are financially-vested in a vaccine, not a cure? But people around the globe need a cure right now, not 18 months in the future after the vaccine had been developed and tested on humans.

Valid Questions and What Happens Next

Woodcut: Ship of Fools

There are numerous questions that I have pondered in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. How long can the economic patient survive without economic oxygen?  How is this temporary medical crisis going to be used to curtail your freedoms permanently? And is the crisis temporary? Does the saying, “I’m from the government and I’m here to help,” frighten you? How will life change in the AC (after Coronavirus) when compared to life BC (before Coronavirus)?

Employment

The 6,648,000 seasonally adjusted for unemployment claims have doubled in the last two weeks. Millions of workers were furloughed and laid off as “demand for goods and services, as well as the ability to provide them” has decreased dramatically due to orders to stay home and to more severe lockdowns. Some states, however, have elected “business as usual” for their population.

Economists are predicting as many as 20 million unemployed by the end of April. Put that into perspective with the 8.7 million unemployed during the Great Recession. How high could the unemployment rate spike, 20 percent or perhaps 30 percent in the coming months?

According to Breitbart, “roughly 90% of the U.S. population is now under stay-at-home orders, which have been imposed by most U.S. states.” Disposable income is not coming in but rent, bills, loans, hospital bills, must be paid. https://www.breitbart.com/economy/2020/04/02/jobless-claims-jump-by-6-6-million/?fbclid=IwAR0gzqw0FFKOynSOhCONc52PhIaFGvQTeoku_NZ812e5WRVHiLtiL9S7nEY

Many Americans will get $1,200 from the U.S. government’s $2 trillion Economic Stimulus bill to mitigate the effects of the Coronavirus economic shutdown. This huge sum full of unnecessary and shameless political Democrat and some Republican pork will add to the already unpayable national debt as the government will have to print money to cover the sum, increasing inflation.

“Kyle Pomerleau, a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, estimates that 165 million people, or 93% of all tax filers, will get some benefit, with about 140 million of them getting the full amount. Seniors whose only income is from Social Security and veterans who rely solely on disability payments will receive the payments. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-03-26/when-and-how-will-i-get-that-1-200-stimulus-payment-quicktake

Will that cash infusion arrive soon enough, how long will that last, and will the likely cash infusion into pre-existing goods (car payments, mortgage payments) which had already been counted into the previous GDP, really stimulate the economy?

Potential business collapse

Despite the stimulus bill, not all businesses will be able to keep their doors open and will close forever or will be bought out under a different umbrella for potential basement prices.

Businesses large and small must still pay rent and loans as well under collapsing revenue. There is Internet shopping, but some smaller businesses are not set up that way and shopping has dried up, limited to essentials. Restaurants, hotels, cruises, vacation venues, entertainment, theaters, parks revenues have dwindled. Malls have closed. And retailers were already in trouble before the Corona virus pandemic hit, they were slashing personnel and closing stores. Furthermore, the CBO expects the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to contract by 7 percent.

Obligatory Vaccinations

Afshin Yaghtin is writing in Principia Scientific.org that “Microsoft founder Bill Gates announced on March 18, 2020 during a “Reddit ‘Ask Me Anything’ session that he is working on a new, invisible ‘quantum dot tattoo’ implant that will track who has been tested for COVID-19 and who has been vaccinated against it.” The vaccine is being researched and tested and will be available soon. Yaghtin wonders, “Will this mean forced vaccinations or perpetually ‘sheltering in place’ for those who refuse the coronavirus vaccine?” https://principia-scientific.org/bill-gates-digital-tattoo-implant-to-track-covid-19-vaccine-compliance/?fbclid=IwAR1GG9CqQhJ3sewd9zoHufLh52x-gzy-pulD3QkWP0jkVEbDgMDWEfyJOtI

Working on the ID2020 Certification Mark, Gates Foundation, in alliance with Accenture, IDEO, Gavi, and the Rockefeller Foundation hopes to use “immunization to serve as a platform for digital identity” and to bring ID2020 to the masses.

How did Bill Gates become a medical expert as the main stream media is asking him questions which should be addressed to medical doctors and policy makers, not to a computer billionaire who dabbles in the population control agenda, vaccines, malaria prevention, and child vaccinations in Africa.

Schools and Universities

Schools and universities have closed for the remainder of the year. Many opted for online instruction and parents have stepped in with home schooling. Testing has been cancelled until further notice. Academic competitions as well as competitive sports have been canceled. Would schooling change in the future, with less and less physically going to class?

Telecommuting

Government employees and those working for large corporations can work from home. After kinks have been worked out, this may become the model for work in the future. In large metropolitan areas commuting by bus, metro, train, or “slugging”/rideshare in a stranger’s car have come to a halt.

Malls and stores

The locked and empty malls and stores may remain so permanently as people are moving more and more to online shopping as a business model. Ordering online and picking up items at the store will probably be eliminated when the overwhelming rush of home deliveries would have been resolved by the introduction of more trucks, routes, and drivers.

Socialized medicine

After decades of advocating for the socialized medicine model, Medicare for all and healthcare for none, Democrats will be happy to realize that one viral pandemic has succeeded in bringing in medicine based on a patient’s usefulness to society, age, and level of sickness. The much sought-after rationing that liberals have been pushing for years would have been achieved. Never have dentists been told by state governors that they must close their practices by a certain date.

Big Winners and Losers in Business

Intermediate businesses and mom and pop stores without Internet footprint were closed while the big companies like Walmart, which sold the same products plus food, could open via governor executive orders. Amazon emerged as the biggest winner.

Hygiene Habits

People finally learned how to properly wash their hands often and keep a 6-foot distance from the nearest human. People also finally realized what a great sanitizer Purell is and how scarce toilet paper and other necessities become under socialism. They also learned how to stand in line every day in order to find food or paper products. Some Americans learned to sneeze and cough onto their sleeves. The old German handshake will disappear, replaced by fist and elbow bumps. Hugging, a favorite of Americans, will become obsolete or verboten.

Environmental liberals have finally learned that reusable grocery bags are contaminated and harbor many harmful bacteria and viruses which are spread around through bags that are not sanitized/washed at high temperatures after each use.

Family Time

Americans rediscovered their wives, children, and loved ones, and learned that spending more time with them instead of watching sports on television was quite fun and became happier, enjoying life to the fullest. Not eating in restaurants so often but having meals at home and cooking favorites for each family member became a new and enjoyable experience, brushing up on cooking skills long forgotten due to the hustle and bustle of commuting and too many competitive activities.

Freedoms Lost

Freedom of assembly was curtailed overnight by governors’ decrees. People were fined for having parties at home with more than 10 people, a highly arbitrary number based on bogus determination. Was there an exact footage that 10 people could interact on? Forced “social distancing” altered people’s behavior towards one another.

Freedom of religion was also restricted. Interestingly, we did not hear anything about closed mosques, just churches, temples, and synagogues. Large churches may never recover.

People were forbidden by governor’s orders in Virginia to practice at indoor gun ranges.

National parks, forests, and local and state parks were also closed. Night fishing and boat were also forbidden. Picnics in parks were limited to 10 people and in other areas they were entirely verboten.

Traveling by airplane and cruise ships was also curtailed. The cruise ship industry may never recover fully, especially huge vessels that could accommodate several thousand passengers. There will be less airlines as the industry struggles to recover passengers lost.

Airports will be plagued by more invasive health screenings under the guise of protecting the population from unseen threats.

More After-effects

Americans will learn that the death panels appended in 2010 Obamacare do exist under the guise of rationing and these will increase over time.

Hotels and global vacation venues will struggle to recover for years especially in countries like Italy and Spain.

Organized sports, already under attack for bodily injuries and by transgenderism, may never recover. Olympics will be derailed.

Lost jobs and income, involuntary isolation, forced distancing will cause loss of homes, marriages, and even families.

Depression and a sense of hopelessness and confusion will cause suicides to rise. Rodney Atkinson predicts that “the suicides from the economic and social effects of lockdown will far exceed the number of deaths actually caused by the Coronavirus.” He wrote that worldwide deaths were 21,297 by Coronavirus, 113,034 from seasonal flu, 228,095 from malaria, and 249,904 from suicide (in the period of March 1-25, 2020) http://freenations.net/a-pandemic-is-a-panic-of-academics-lockdown-suicidesvirus-flights/

Atkinson said, “there are increasing reports of family killings and suicide in Britain as families face the desperation of lockdown and financial worry. A tragic case from Germany was the suicide of the Finance Director of the State of Hessen, Thomas Schaefer, because he had become depressed about how to cope with the economic collapse due to the lockdown.”

Americans will have to realize that food and resources are limited and may have to get used to less supply, long lines, and rationing.

Whether this pandemic was accidental or not, the end result will be the crashed consumption and production which will affect the global economy profoundly due to severe unemployment, recession, significant wealth loss, diminished or wiped-out savings, depleted pension funds and, over time, if recovery is slow worldwide, it may cause localized skirmishes and more tribal wars.

Lessons Learned from The Chinese Wuhan Virus Global Crisis

What are my lessons learned from the Chinese Wuhan virus global crisis and “pandemic?”

I live in Reality Ville and know the face of communism and forced collectivism. I’ve stood in food lines, toilet paper lines, and other essentials’ lines every day in the first twenty years of my life. The number one lesson I learned today is that globalism is EVIL.

Globalism does not serve the interest of our country; it serves the interests of like-minded globalists invested heavily in cheap labor in China and profits at all costs. Globalism, no matter what professors tell their students, does not serve the interests of the average American citizen who has no idea that 90 percent of his/her prescription drugs and OTC drugs are made in China, a hostile communist nation.

Economically speaking, it is not a good idea to allow a potential enemy to produce items for key industries needed for survival of our children and grandchildren. Our nation cannot defend itself in case of attacks, whether military or viral ones, if its key industries’ production depends on a potential enemy.

I learned that we should bring our drug manufacturing and other key industries back to America as soon as possible and we should lobby Congress to pass legislation to make that happen. And if they should object, then the Executive Order pen must be used.

I learned from this Chinese Wuhan Virus crisis that nationalism is necessary if we are to survive. I learned how fragile we really are in the 21st century despite our technology or perhaps because of it.

I learned from this Chinese Wuhan Virus crisis that our President Trump was right about China all along and was correct in promoting incentives to industries to return to America.

I learned that we should never trust the communist government of China. This misplaced trust in a communist country is now lethal to our economy.

I also learned that it is going to cost us trillions of dollars to recover and a long time for mom and pop businesses to come back if ever.

The American “bread and circuses,” football, baseball, volleyball, hockey, and other organized sports and competitions may never come back in the same form.

I learned from this “pandemic” that having family time is amazing and we should go back to the basics of family life, turning off the blue screens of the highly addictive and intelligence-robbing smart phones.

I hope Millennials learned, after the shock of having to stand in line for food and toilet paper, that the socialism they so desperately desire is a disaster that will never work no matter who is in charge.

I hope all socialists in this country who want socialized medicine learned that socialized medicine in Italy and in communist China were quickly overwhelmed – rationing ensued and they had to make hard choices for treatment.

Americans learned, I hope, that socialized medicine does have death panels, rationing of medical care based on a person’s age and utility to society.

I learned from this Chinese Wuhan virus crisis that the European Union did not respond well to its member states with medical help.

I also learned that unfettered liberalism screaming for open borders and releasing medically unvetted foreigners among their midst was a disaster waiting to happen and it did. Yes, disease does not recognize borders, but we can screen people for disease and illnesses that can cause a potential pandemic globally. Isolation and quarantine do work.

Preventive medical tests before admission into a country is a great idea, it is not an intrusion on a person’s manufactured global rights. You don’t have rights in a country you have invaded or are a guest of. You must follow their rules, regulations, and laws, including borders.

We isolated ourselves in our homes, gave up rather quickly our constitutional liberties for our own “good” without as much as a whimper – the controlling globalists won, and the media won.

We learned that President Trump was right to build the fence on the southern border.  He was also right about restricting travel from China.

I learned from this “pandemic” that family life in general was improved by staying home and cooking instead of eating in restaurants so much. It was fun to take the kids to the park and re-discover nature, play in the sand, get dirty, chase the dog, fish, instead of watching TV non-stop, playing electronic games, or being obsessed with social media all the time. Life became simpler and more enjoyable, it seemed that we lived it more fully.

I learned from this “pandemic” that schools closed and taught their students online, eliminating a lot of unnecessary personnel and administrators. And why pay high college tuition when you can learn online much cheaper?

The Chinese Wuhan virus crisis taught me that some Americans are still kind and generous, that some went to work despite their immediate contact with a lot of potentially infected people. But they did it anyway because they have a great work ethic, love to help other Americans, and needed the well-deserved paycheck they earned.

I learned that Americans are just as shameless to hoard food and essentials as the hoarders I encountered under socialism. Some became scalpers and stores price-gouged their customers, taking advantage of the shortage caused by increased demand and decreased supply.

Despite the mainstream media telling us otherwise, it is not racist to say that the Corona virus originated in Wuhan, China. To the liberals out there glued to their favorite leftist alphabet soup “news” channel, Chinese is a nationality, not a race.

From the Chinese Wuhan virus crisis, I learned that the Wuhan province was the location of 10,000 5G stations rolled out by the end of 2019. It is probably a “tin foil hat” coincidence but I am a skeptic and I do not believe in coincidences.

And I like a good conspiracy theory any day. Exposure to so much radiation leads to a microwave illness with flu-like symptoms and 54 other additional health problems listed here. https://5g-emf.com/wuhan-was-the-province-where-5g-was-rolled-out-now-the-center-of-deadly-virus/

The 5G roll-out announcement was made by the communist Chinese government. Here is the English version. http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/2019-10/31/c_138517734.htm

Last, but not least, Americans learned that toilet paper became the number one hoarded item, and nobody understood why.

Democrats, the political opportunists that they are, would never let a virus crisis go to waste. “Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) told caucus members last week that the [stimulus] bill was ‘a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.’” Would that vision be Democrat socialism? https://news.yahoo.com/dem-rep-told-colleagues-coronavirus-145245071.html?soc_src=hl-viewer&soc_trk=fb But then everybody knows that Democrats in Washington do not have a problem putting their political ideology ahead of the welfare of the American people.

What some of my friends learned about the Chinese Wuhan Virus Crisis? Here are some salty and pointed opinions:

-          “How easily all Americans gave up their constitutional freedoms following a deliberate, media-created and hyped panic.

-          Never outsource anything to a communist enemy.

-          What socialism feels like.

-          How selfish and unethical 75% of the population is.

-          How stupid we are, how easily manipulated, and how incompetent the clowns are who lead various countries.

-          That despite millions of years of evolution, we are still Neanderthals.

-          How happily Americans surrendered their freedoms, they were not even fighting.

-          It was scary how many politicians and people were willing to ignore the Constitution’s protections when we needed them the most.

-          Life can change on a dime.

-          Prepping under Obama’s reign was a great decision.

-          Never trust a communist but I knew that before.

-          There is a lack of deductive reasons ability and an abundance of panic mode among many.

-          This Corona Pandemic is a sinister international conspiracy against America… The cause, the symptoms, the mortality and morbidity are not even a fraction of the H1N1… but we are not lead by a communist in the White House, we are led by a true patriot and great leader of the world, President Donald J. Trump.

-          Bring our manufacturing base back to America’s soil and employ American workers.

-          The “social distancing” quarantine came easy to me as I’ve been an introvert all my life.

-          The communists still want to take over the world.”

I sadly learned that people lie, cheat, and steal on a mass scale in order to get what they want, putting others at great risk, and neighbors are not neighborly at all in parts of the country where liberalism reigns supreme.

America Fundamentally Transformed

Photo: Ileana Johnson
In the spring of 2007 I was teaching a small class of non-traditional students, some as young as eighteen and some older than I was. It was an interesting mixture of blacks, whites, Hispanics, civilians and military who had jobs during the day and took classes at night to finish their college degrees. They were not the pampered and entitled snowflakes of today; they were hard-working Americans from all walks of life, some receiving Pell grants and some on military scholarships.

We always had interesting discussions as most brought their experience to class to contribute to our economic lessons. A few detracted from it with their unruly and disrespectful behavior. It was a bit too late to teach social manners to the two young black women who always arrived late, answered their phones in the classroom, and left often for bathroom breaks but returned with sodas, hamburgers, and fries from the nearby bowling alley.

Everyone was hungry, most students did not get a chance to get supper but some were patient enough to wait for the large break between the three-hour long classes before they bought food.

The two women, who wanted an A just by showing up for class, asked provocative questions such as, why does our textbook separate everybody by groups, age, disability, education, race, when giving economic statistics? Can we all not be just Americans, men and women? The fact that most textbooks are written by liberal college professors and are chosen as part of the curriculum by more liberal college professors and administrators did not dawn on them.

The “maverick” candidate Obama with his “beautiful family” and what he could do for our country and the black community economically was often the talk during breaks. One young man was especially excited as he was campaigning for him around the state.

My traditional college students during the day would often miss classes or arrive late with starry eyes from campaign rallies in support of this “transformational” candidate who would revolutionize America and give everyone free housing, health, food, and college. The excitement was so palpable, you could package it in gold tin foil with a blue ribbon. A few students even endangered their lives by standing in the middle of busy intersections holding signs in support of the unknown Chicagoan’s candidacy.

Schools staffed with Democrats to the rafters organized trips two hours away to hear candidate Obama who, as president of the largest economy on earth at the time, would “fundamentally transform” America into the socialist paradise of his anti-American and racist ideology. He was going to be a uniter and make everything that ailed this country better. At least that’s what everyone thought.

A local radio shock jock was asking listeners who they will vote for President in November. One caller said he would choose the unknown half-black candidate Obama because, “he would screw up things so badly, nobody would ever elect another socialist to office.” He was wrong on the election part. Obama was elected twice and more socialists and communists are elected to office today.

Eleven years later, we are divided more than ever along ideological and racial lines. The economy is improving thanks to the leadership of President Trump who is presiding over a 4.2% GDP growth unlike his predecessor who was busy telling us that a weak economy, less than 2% growth, was the new norm. President Trump is making good on the many promises candidate Trump has made to make America great again, his campaign slogan.

The Democrat side is busy telling us that America was never great. I wonder why everybody is risking life and limb to come to America if it is such a bad, racist, and intolerant place to be.

The entire country is in a social and political ailment. Communists, socialists, and anarchists are slowly taking over the country. Washington is a political Swamp nobody can possibly ever drain. People not qualified to answer a simple history or geopolitical question are elected to Democrat office by Democrat voters equally ignorant, lacking basic information, civics, and history knowledge, and who often do not speak English and vote legally and illegally.

The education of our children that used to be the envy of the world has taken an intolerant Marxist tone. Violent fascist and racist organizations like ANTIFA and BLM have found nests on campuses around the country, formed as their perceived need to enforce social justice. Their anger that the Democrat candidate Hillary lost the election is endless and incurable.

The media is bashing President Trump non-stop, vilifying him, his family, and everything he does. A man who has given up so much to do what is right for our country has become public enemy number one for all Democrat voters who seem to have lost their minds, mired in pure hate and insanity.

Hollywood college dropouts and ball players have joined in the fray of anti-Americanism. They use their microphones afforded by successful roles in movies which have suddenly made them experts, telling us how to live and how to become globalists by giving up our language, borders, and culture to invading hordes of economic refugees from third world countries.

The then transformational candidate Barack Hussein Obama, who promised to heal all the wounds and right all the wrongs, give his supporters free food, education, health, housing, cars, has turned our country into such an anti-American and welfare-centered direction that it is uncertain right now that we would ever be able to recover.

What is good has become bad, evil has become good, and moral values have been replaced by moral relativism, decadence, and filth. America continues to be fundamentally transformed from the shadows.

Is This Our New America?

Golden Eagle with Chopped Wing

The young woman was shopping on the 75 percent off rack of children’s clothes. Our eyes met and she smiled; in these hard times we must shop wisely to make money stretch further, she said. I remember those years in the mid-twenties, with two babies, a mom to support, and at least three part-time jobs. I never complained, blamed rich people, rioted to burn down other people’s hard work, or demanded that they turn their accumulated wealth over to me. It was a time when law and order mattered. Effort and hard work eventually paid off when I made a huge and lengthy investment in human capital – my education.

Today the only luxury the young woman allowed herself was a first baby’s Christmas ornament for her newborn. One of the only two Caucasian associates in this department store, she earns a living standing eight hours a day, waiting on demanding and often rude customers who hail from two hundred plus different countries. It is always a United Nation’s zoo, a cacophony of nationalities and people who do not have much love for America, they just enjoy its opportunities and the new found Shangri La of better treatment than poor Americans and vets get.

She has to meet impossible sales numbers set by corporate management from another planet who do not care that the economy is bad, the result of eight years of destructive Democrat Marxist activism that weakened the economy and doubled the indebtedness for generations to come. People do not have a lot of disposable income, unemployment is high, and many save money by staying home and ordering online.

Few customers want to fight the crowds and the rude salespeople who are mostly Middle Eastern and treat shoppers with contempt and rudeness just like they did in their own countries. Who wants to be friendly in a country they resent with passion? They are not even nice to the few Americans who have to work with them; they treat them like pariahs and threaten them with bodily harm if they say or do anything that might offend their Muslim sensibilities. They scream racism and bigotry for every little thing to their bosses who always take sides with the Muslims for fear that they might be considered Islamophobes. Shopping in northern Virginia is an unpleasant experience that many try to avoid.

Most of the heavily made-up Middle Eastern associates are uneducated and have no skills, they cannot possibly work anywhere else except sell merchandise in stores. There are some who do wear hijabs and some burkas. It was an interesting experience one day to go to a local computer store and to be met by an IT associate wearing a complete black tent with slits for eyes. To say that it was uncomfortable being helped by this person is an understatement. How can you relax when you cannot really see who you are talking to? I’ve seen some driving on the busy and dangerous roads of northern Virginia. I wondered if their driver’s licenses concealed their identities as well. It was an eerie experience as if I’ve been transported back in time into the seventh century slave bazaars.

I don’t know about you but I like to have a temporary friendly relationship with the person helping me spend money and, if you are rude and I can’t see you, I have to move on to shop somewhere else. But there are not many "someplace elses" left that are different from this experience.

We are fast becoming strangers in our own country, being pushed aside by a theocracy that is alien to our nation. It has not caught up yet in other parts of America but it is moving fast in that direction. If the stunt the Starbucks CEO pulled the other day, saying that he will hire 10,000 refugees from Syria instead of Americans out of work, is any indication of what is to come in the near future, our services work force will be fast replaced by laborers from unskilled nations.

There is a growing workforce in the restaurant business and landscaping, mostly people coming from south of the border, hard and conscientious workers. But they have a large family at home that takes full advantage of the generous welfare benefits in this country. This south of the border workforce has replaced high school and college students who used to work part-time to supplement their income while in school.

Collegiate Americans, lovers of activism, Bolshevism, communism, and ardent Islamophiles seem to have found a niche in the paid-protest and paid-rioters business. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs), well-funded by billionaire elites, who know that global communism is best for us, remunerate these masked, black-clad agitators really well. Anti-Americanism, raised to a fever and violent pitch, has become quite lucrative. They seem to be untouched by law and order so the mayhem and destruction continues.

We are told non-stop by the main stream media that these refugees do the jobs Americans don’t want to do. Is that really true? Illegals work for lower wages, often under the table, so their employment depresses wages in general.

In between rioting, looting, burning, and physically beating people who disagree with them, Lefties keep screaming, “that’s not who we are as a nation, we are a nation of immigrants.” Yes, we are a nation of legal immigrants who assimilated into our culture, and we helped build it but we have reached our point of immigration saturation before we turn into the failed multicultural Europe that is being destroyed by the flotsam and jetsam of the welfare dependent third world.

Immigrants refuse to assimilate, we are told by the fanatical “experts” of the left, because it is “fascistic” to expect them to assimilate their “superior” and primitive culture into such an “awfully intolerant” country that took them in and supported them financially without any questions asked.

If liberals were not so “open-minded” that their brains fell out long time ago, they could perhaps answer the logical question, if we are such a racist, bigoted and intolerant place to live, why come here in the first place, why not stay in the country that is so much better than ours?

Spare us the indignity of having to support you and your extended families while you threaten us with lawsuits because we don’t accept Sharia Law over our Constitution. We are rolling out the red carpet for refugees while many of our veterans are sleeping in the streets. Is this our new America?

Grants Because the Economy Isn't Doing So Well

The economy is so rosy, the statistics tell us, we are at what economists call full employment. “Full employment is a situation in which everyone who is willing and able to work can find a job. At full employment, the measured unemployment rate is still positive.” Economists have argued for years that the full employment number was somewhere “near 5 percent unemployment.”

President John F. Kennedy tried to commit the federal government to a target rate of 4 percent unemployment but it was rejected as being too unrealistic and overly ambitious.

To prevent another Great Depression, an unemployment insurance system was put in place after 1933 as a temporary cushion. Through this insurance which gives money to those who become unemployed, unemployment insurance props up aggregate demand during recessions.

Unfortunately, unemployment insurance replaces about one half of the lost income of the unemployed persons who are insured. Economists agree that “fewer than half of the unemployed actually collect benefits” and the lost output that could have been produced had these people been working cannot be replaced.

The system of payroll taxes and unemployment benefits helps spread the cost of unemployment over the entire population, or so it was thought. But it does not eliminate the basic economic cost nor does it prevent the shrinking working population from shouldering an unfair burden of support resulting from bad economic policies that have failed to create jobs and increase aggregate demand.

When Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is below its potential, and it is under this regime, unemployment is above “full employment.” This begs the question then, is the reported unemployment of 5.5 percent accurate?  The answer is no because discouraged workers are no longer counted as if they had disappeared, and many unemployed have shifted from the ranks of the unemployed to the ranks of the disabled and of those on welfare.

A discouraged worker is an unemployed person who has given up looking for work and is therefore no longer counted as part of the labor force. Currently, it is hard to pin down the number of abled-bodied individuals that comprise the American labor force given the fact that we have so many illegal aliens in this country that are gainfully employed but work under the radar of statistics. We do know that we have the lowest labor force participation (62.7%) since the late 70s.

The World Bank lists the 2013 U.S. labor force as 158,959,242 persons. Total labor force comprises people ages 15 and older who meet the International Labor Organization definition of the economically active population. … The labor force includes the armed forces, the unemployed, and first-time job-seekers, but excludes homemakers and other unpaid caregivers and workers in the informal sector.”

In 2013, Brad Plumer told us that the shrinking labor force is caused by:  “1) The Ageing of America;  2) The bad economy is keeping workers in school and out of the labor force; 3) More workers are going on disability insurance.” http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2013/11/08/the-u-s-labor-force-is-still-shrinking-rapidly-heres-why/

The victims of high unemployment or forced partial employment due to Obamacare are paying a high financial and psychological price, costs that are borne quite unevenly by different groups of the population.

Instead of addressing the sluggish economy, the lack of job creation, the job-killing Obamacare, the job-killing EPA draconian regulations, the regime is offering grants to the unemployed, the disabled, and discouraged, and the generational welfare recipients.

On April 6, 2015, under the heading,” U.S. Government wants to help you,” Resource Depot sent out an email that said, “Did you hear the news? The U.S. economy isn’t getting better anytime soon. Thankfully, benefits may be available if you qualify for them.” (See if you qualify) “You may be eligible for a government grant. Many Americans never requested their piece of the $787 billion Recovery Stimulus. If you believe you may be entitled to some of these fund(s), please review your options.” (Click here to review your options)

If you are unemployed, discouraged, partially employed, or on welfare, do not worry, there are now grants to assure that you get your undeserved, unearned piece of the pie bought and paid for by someone else who does not mind supporting you financially – it’s the socialist way of spreading the wealth, take from the productive and give generously to the unproductive.

While we keep printing, spending, and giving away billions of dollars like there is no tomorrow, can anybody mathematically comprehend what $18 trillion of national debt means? Does anyone even care anymore?
