A New Breed of Global Communism on Steroids

Politicians like to tell us ad nauseam that the immigration system is broken. What exactly is broken? I asked this question recently of the panel on immigration at CPAC 2015. It became obvious that conservatives and progressives conflate the issue of legal immigration with the issue of illegal immigration.

One of the panelists began to show us a very complex chart of the LEGAL immigration system and the hoops and offices that a person must navigate in order to legally immigrate to this country. The system appeared no different than the system in place in 1982 when I became a naturalized American citizen. We are told that there are 4.1 million unresolved applications for LEGAL permanent residence in the United States, some of them backlogged 15 years or more. These people want to join their families already legally in the U.S. They are unfortunate that they cannot jump a fence, swim across a river, or walk across the desert. They are not the chosen ones to be flown or bussed across the border by our own government that wants to fundamentally change the demographic makeup of our country.

What politicians and their minions talk about when they refer to the broken immigration system, is the wait time for LEGAL immigrants. What IS BROKEN is the fact that the government is not securing the borders, and is not enforcing the laws already on the books in regards to ILLEGAL immigration into our country.

Rep. Robert Pittenger of North Carolina, Chairman of the Congressional Taskforce on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare is telling us that “Americans should prepare to protect their homes, businesses, and families in the event of a terrorist attack or a natural disaster” in a 24-page booklet that was just released.

Yet they are leaving our southern and northern borders vulnerable to entry of any citizen of another country who wants amnesty. And we are not just talking about illegal Mexicans. Border patrols have found prayer rugs and Qurans abandoned in the desert on the southern border.

The government is bringing in refugees from countries that hate our western culture, our legal system, and our way of life. They are bringing in thousands of refugees each month from Somalia and Syria to resettle them in the United States, knowing that these people are not interested in learning our language, accepting our culture, and becoming Americans.  As soon as they arrive, they become wards of the state, and start making demands to install Shariah Law and to accommodate their needs for madrassas schools, for exercise of their Islamic religion, and to take down anything that is American and offensive to them: our flag, our National Anthem, our Pledge of Allegiance, and our Christian religious symbols.

The new standards of education called Common Core, adopted pretty much around the country, are indoctrinating our children into communism and proselytize for Islam. It’s no news that academia has been communist for years but lately the assault against anything American has picked up speed. Take the case of the Irvine, University of California ban on the American flag. It is not the work of misguided individual students; they are supported by their professors. These are not isolated incidents. They are happening around the country at every level of our educational system and of our government.

When I came to this country legally, I had every intention of assimilating into the American culture, of learning the language, and becoming a contributing member of society. I did not run to the nearest Social Security office to sign up for benefits, to vote illegally, and to form barrios, countries within our country, bringing with me the hellhole I escaped from.

Politicians tell us that these people come here to work; they don’t come for the welfare or the in-state tuition. But the welfare figures and the earned income tax credit given to newly arrived illegals are in the billions of dollars a year and they are incontrovertible evidence that most don’t come here to work and then return home to their countries. They are here to stay; we are their social featherbed and financial support. The IRS tells us that they are entitled to retroactive earned income tax credit for 2011-2013 to the tune of $35,000 per family, even though they paid no taxes in those years and were here illegally.

Politicians and the main stream media tell us that illegals live in the shadows, they are euphemistically called undocumented Americans. They don’t live in the shadows. They draw welfare, they go to the same churches with us, they shop at the same stores, and they send their kids to the same day care, kindergartens, and schools. On the day when SNAP and EBT are distributed, all the cash registers at Walmart have lines of Hispanics and Middle Easterners who do not speak a word of English, not even “thank you.”

The illegal children that arrived last year to supposedly join their families were not all children after all , some were known-gang members and drug dealers from Mexico, many were sick, bringing in diseases that were formerly eradicated in the U.S. and new ones that are endemic to Central America. Some of our children have died from the enterovirus and a mysterious paralysis. Some adults contracted antibiotic-resistant TB. Illegals brought in measles, scabies, Chagas disease, and lice.

In New Hampshire there are some schools were 82 different languages are spoken.  How do you accommodate so many different children who do not speak English and have no relatives, and still maintain a semblance of normalcy in schools where scores are now plummeting?  How do you maintain standards of excellence without dragging down American students?

Churches took them in with open arms because they received millions of dollars in grants to do so from the federal government. It was not just the Christian thing to do; it was a money-making machine. The children were injected into small communities around the country, mostly without the knowledge of the population. Talk about forced colonization!

Many of these illegal immigrants come from dictatorships of communism, socialism, or totalitarianism. They don’t know what a democracy is, don’t care, and will not understand it. Many are illiterate in their own languages. Democracy for them is welfare from the government. Their trust and belief system are in BIG government. Capitalism and self-reliance are foreign concepts to them. Piracy, theft, cheating, stealing, bartering to survive, and a poor work ethic are the norm.

I remember the feelings of elation when I arrived in New York. I deplaned and I breathed freedom into my lungs. I knew, if I worked hard, I could be anything I wanted to be because I had freedom of opportunity, not guaranteed welfare. I did not expect anybody to support me and I did not expect others to translate everything for me into my language while I lazily pretended that I was too dumb to learn.

I still had a tremendous fear of the police state I escaped from and cringed every time someone knocked on the door and my heart pounded when I saw a policeman. Under communism, they were there to harass and to control us. We were always guilty no matter what.

Thirty-seven years later, I find myself more each day reliving the former communist country I fled in 1978. We now live in a neo-communism of sorts where the police state is everywhere, surveillance is more sophisticated and intrusive than the Soviets would have ever thought of; there is no need to place a spy on each street or stairwell in every block of apartments who registered the comings and goings of residents. There is no need to wiretap someone’s phone or home.

Now we have electronic surveillance that is neatly stored by NSA in Utah. If we don’t make it easy for them via Facebook and other social media, they now have installed smart grids, smart meters, smart appliances that communicate with the mother ship everything we do in our own homes under the guise of convenience, saving the planet from manufactured and imagined global warming, and saving us money. They are spying on us without a warrant not just with drones and cameras at every intersection, but with our TVs, our laptops, our GPS devices, our car computers, and even medical tags and I.D. tags embedded under your skin.

The immigrants of today are a total different breed from the immigrants of 37 years ago. They are here to demographically alter the makeup of our society in order to “fundamentally change” who we are as a nation, just like we were promised by our president five days before Inauguration. He has been mystifyingly successful beyond anybody’s imagination.

The 30-50 million illegals that were amnestied by both parties in Congress will change America into a borderless country with no identity, no sense of real history, no traditions, no pride, a hodge-podge of global citizens of various ethnic backgrounds and multi-cultures who have no allegiance to the Founding Fathers, to the Constitution, and to the citizens before us who have sacrificed themselves and built this country with their treasure, sweat, tears, and blood.

If you want to know what America will look like ten or twenty years from now, look at Sweden, Paris, London, Marseille, Belgium and other countries where senescent populations are replaced by fertile Middle Eastern and African populations. Europeans and now Americans are not having enough babies, instead are strolling dogs and cats. This fundamental change was brought by decades of progressive indoctrination in schools and universities that have destroyed the fabric of many societies with their preaching of communism, tolerance, diversity, multi-culturalism, and immorality.

For the last seven years, we have gone daily and weekly from one manufactured crisis to another, where a misperceived social injustice had to be redressed by creating more and more bureaucracies that we will never be able to undo. We have become the most racially divided that this country has ever been, thanks to the current administration.

We have witnessed the creation of the progressive thought police and intolerance, labeling everyone with whom they disagree as bigots, racists, homophobes, Islamophobes, and domestic terrorists. We have also witnessed the government’s social engineering in action and takeover of the main stream media, of morality, marriage, education, finance, banking, housing, car manufacturing, health care, of millions of acres of arable land and parks, of the military, the Internet, privacy, nutrition, free speech, free assembly, of religion, and pretty soon the last bastions – the state police and the personal freedom to bear arms. It is déjà vu for me but it is communism on steroids.

Executive Action for Immigration

The President’s “immigration accountability executive action” has confused many Americans since a president’s action is more or less a “wish list” and does not have the legally-binding power of an executive order. Unlike an executive order, an executive action is not published in the Federal Register.  An executive order can be reversed by Congress or by the courts. Is this executive action meant to obfuscate the illegal immigration issue and postpone the “fixing of the broken immigration,” a euphemism for refusing to enforce the already existing laws? http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2014/11/20/fact-sheet-immigration-accountability-executive-action

Our country cannot afford to amnesty 5 million illegal aliens even though they may be in the country right now or en route. The Heritage Foundation’s chief economist Stephen Moore has calculated recently that illegal aliens cost the American taxpayers $30 billion per year. If we take into account the number of requested work cards by the DHS for 34 million, the cost of an additional 29 million illegals would skyrocket the $30 billion to absolutely unmanageable numbers when our national debt is already impossible to repay, unemployment is in double digits, and the economy is lacking significant job creation.

The November 20, 2014 Department of Homeland Security “Policies for the Apprehension, Detention, and Removal of Undocumented Immigrants” consider drunk driving, sex abusers, drug dealers, and gun offenders secondary priority for deportation; top priority includes terrorists, felons, and new illegal border crossers.  http://www.dhs.gov/sites/default/files/publications/14_1120_memo_prosecutorial_discretion.pdf

We’ve been told that illegal immigrants work hard and they do. But they also have large families at home that are supported by various welfare programs and are medically treated freely in any ER in the country and eventually under Obamacare.

Illegals are encouraged to pay taxes using the Internal Revenue Service’s Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) designed to encourage illegal aliens to file and pay taxes but some do not. Many that do file, because they report income below the federal poverty level, receive earned income tax credit from the IRS, using children here in the U.S. and children who are still in Mexico as dependents, costing U.S. taxpayers $4.1 billion per year.

Many illegal aliens, day workers who wait to be picked up at the local Seven Eleven, work under the table, avoiding paying taxes altogether. They do pay sales taxes as they spend some of the cash and the welfare benefits to live in this country, contributing to consumption, the largest component of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, money that is being trafficked and other large sums are being sent to their home countries and never taxed. They thus benefit from our welfare system without paying into the very system that they milk.

Any taxpayer dollars that are spent on welfare for illegal aliens or American citizens are funds that are not spent on investment and on job creation in our economy.

For example, on any given day, at the local international grocery store where I often shop, there is a line of illegals waiting to send money via Western Union to their home countries. I joined the line one day so I could hear for myself how much they were sending. One guy sent $1,200 to Mexico and another $800 to Guatemala. Assuming the average of the two, $1,000 per month, a simple calculation of 5 million illegals sending money home per month would yield $5 billion, a tidy sum of $60 billion per year. And the numbers of illegal aliens reported to be in this country vary widely, from 11-12 million to as many as 34 million.

When liberals spew economic statistics about the extent that illegal aliens contribute to this economy by spending their earned money here, I am very skeptical. No amount of propaganda coming from the left or Pelosi’s theatrics washing the feet of illegal aliens is going to convince me that it is good for our country to accept floods of law breakers and reward them with unconstitutional citizenship. If we do, the notion of American citizenship no longer exists.

Is There Honor in Amnesty?

Thee amnesty by executive fiat is a fait accompli - five million law breakers are now going to become American citizens with all the benefits American taxpayers are forced to provide, including Obamacare.

The “fiscal cost of immigration” will include: Medicaid, unemployment insurance, Social Security, workmen compensation, TANF, earned income credit, WIC, SNAP, free phones, SSI, free education, free lunch programs, kindergarten programs, day care, and other services such as police protection, fire protection, military protection, libraries, parks, highways,  and over 80 different welfare programs that already provide cash, food, utilities, education, and housing  to 100 million low-income Americans.

Young Americans and their families will pay hefty health insurance premiums for Obamacare, with high deductibles and diminished benefits on the bronze, silver, and gold levels, while illegal aliens will pay nothing or $2.71 per month.

After all, we are such a rich nation; why not spread the wealth around the globe to millions of illegals and to the chain migration that will soon follow. The veterans can wait months to get a doctor’s appointment and American children can be denied entry to colleges or federal grants because minorities and their quotas must be protected and served first. They are the “Dreamers” of tomorrow’s America, the chosen citizens of the new America.

Thumbing their noses at the 4 million foreigners awaiting proper documentation to immigrate legally to the U.S., large groups of illegals bussed into D. C. by Casa de Virginia, a subsidiary of Casa de Maryland, celebrated this week the reward to their lawlessness, waving small American flags handed out to them on the prior-organized buses and at the rally.

Dr. Savage explained on his show that, “while some immigrants work hard, they have large families at home who do not work at all,” subsidized by the American taxpayers. To make matters worse, 30 percent of the prison population in our country is comprised of recidivist illegal aliens, some of whom have committed horrendous crimes.

We are a nation of immigrants but the fundamental difference between the last century’s immigrants and today’s immigrants is that the 20th century immigrants assimilated, came here to take advantage of the opportunity to make a better life for themselves, learned English the best they could, did not accept welfare, and worked very hard to make this country a better place.

The current immigrants come here for the economic opportunity of government welfare, are not interested in assimilating or learning English, and generally do not like America, they want to transform it into the dictatorships they came from,  where the corrupt culture is a culture of government dependency, survival through dishonesty, and breaking the law is a way of life. They are interested in a better life provided to them by our taxpayers with no allegiance to our nation, or respect for our country, borders, culture, language, and the rule of law.

Can we financially afford 5 million amnestied illegal aliens and the remainder 29 million that will follow? No, but the administration will continue to print more worthless money to add to our already unmanageable and exploding national debt, cut more benefits to seniors, cut the military even more, and cut education to fund Medicaid for the new arrivals.

Once illegal immigrants overwhelm the social safety net and bankrupt various programs, there will be chaos. The people most affected by this flood of illegal aliens are not going to be the middle class or the upper middle class, those affected will be the lower middle class and the people at the bottom, who will be competing with illegals for unskilled employment and other government benefits.

This amnesty will benefit the greed of employers seeking employees who will be paid lower wages. Obamacare made sure there was a provision within that protected from penalty employers who hire illegal workers. Amnestied illegals will depress wages for existing legal immigrants and for American citizens and the unemployment numbers and the welfare rolls will swell to unmanageable levels.

There was a pride and joy in waiting patiently for four years to get a green card legally, then another four years to become a naturalized American citizen. There was an honor to be sworn in as an American citizen.

There is no honor in crossing the border in the dead of night, sneaking into our country illegally like bandits, bringing in untreatable diseases, accepting undeserved amnesty and eventual citizenship from a President who single-handedly decided to alter the meaning of citizenship with the stroke of a pen, break the laws of the United States in the process, and forever “fundamentally transform” America into a banana republic mocked by the world.

Breaking into America’s house in the middle of the night, demanding ownership of the deed of trust is dishonorable. If the Congressional Republicans are serious about representing the interests of the American people who rejected amnesty vociferously in the November election, they should veto the discretionary amnesty and refuse to fund it.

How Many Millions of Illegal Aliens Will Qualify for Discretionary Amnesty?

As President Obama is getting ready to make his announcement on immigration on Thursday, November 20, 2014, the Congressional Research Service is advising Congress through legislative attorneys, Kate M. Manuel and Michael John Garcia “on the scope of the Executive’s discretionary authority over immigration matters, including with respect to the enforcement of immigration-related sanctions and the granting of immigration benefits or privileges.” (”Executive Discretion as to Immigration:  Legal Overview,” November 10, 2014, R43782)

The precedent has already been set in 2012 following the “executive initiative” known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) when children brought unlawfully to the United States by their parents were granted “deferred action” and work permit. These young people perhaps voted in the 2012 election.

Critics viewed this executive order as an “abdication of the Executive’s duty to enforce the laws” and violated specific requirements of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).

Proponents of DACA saw the executive order as lawful discretionary authority conferred on the President by the Constitution and the federal statute.

The authors mention President Obama’s June 2014 announcement that he would strive “to fix as much of our immigration system as I can on my own.” Here are some of the elements of discretionary authority the President has as described by Manuel and Garcia:

-          The President has “broad discretion” to give relief benefits such as work permits and temporary protected status to foreign nationals

-          INA allows the waiver of application requirements so that a foreign national can be eligible for benefits

-          INA gives the President “parole authority,” allowing aliens to physically enter or remain in the country “without their entry or presence being considered ‘admission’ for immigration purposes”

-          The Executive has a “degree of independent authority” to decide whether to prosecute “apparent violations of federal law”

-          The Executive has “Discretion in interpreting and applying immigration law”

Congress was granted the power to legislate under Article I of the Constitution.  Congress exercised this power in regard to immigration by enacting the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).  INA provides rules about:

-          Admission of foreign nationals into the U.S.

-          Conditions of continued presence in the U.S.

-          Eligibility of foreign nationals to obtain employment and public benefits

-          Adjust immigration status

-          Become U.S. citizen

-          Mechanisms to enforce the above rules

-          Removal of aliens found in the U.S. illegally or in violation of the authorized admission

-          Criminal penalties for immigration violations

According to the authors, INA expresses or implies some discretionary authority on the executive branch in regards to immigration enforcement such as:

-          Granting of “certain types of benefits or relief to qualifying aliens who lack lawful immigration status”

-          Immigration officials waiver of certain statutory restrictions, allowing ineligible aliens to receive immigration benefits (via asylum, temporary protected status, or cancellation of removal)

-          The Executive can use its independent discretion in enforcing the law

Article II of the Constitution requires the Executive to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” The authors believe that the “executive branch has historically been seen as having some discretion (commonly known as prosecutorial or enforcement discretion) in determining when, against whom, how, and even whether to prosecute apparent violations of the law.” (p. 3)

The CRS report discusses three types of discretion that the Executive has in regards to immigration:

1.       Express delegations of discretionary authority (granting of benefits and relief to aliens)

-          Temporary protected status to those who “cannot be safely returned to their home countries”  due to armed conflict, earthquake, flood, drought, epidemic, environmental disaster, have been “continuously physically present” in the U.S., and pay a “registration fee required by the executive branch”

-          Work authorization to legally work in the U.S.  (Who will create jobs to fill the need for the already unemployed Americans and the need of millions of illegals with work authorization?)

-          Statutory waivers of restrictions on benefits or relief

-          Waivers of grounds of inadmissibility (aliens who have committed serious crimes,  fraud, misrepresentation, and those previously deported)

-          Parole (waving certain grounds of inadmissibility; parolees can still be granted work authorization) (p. 11)

2.       Discretion in enforcement (prosecutorial or enforcement discretion) – the Executive can decide: “Whether to commence removal proceedings and the nature of the particular charges to lodge against an alien”

“Whether to cancel a Notice to Appear or other charging document before jurisdiction vests with an immigration judge”

“Whether to appeal an immigration judge’s decision or order”

3.       Discretion in interpreting and applying statutes

If the intent of Congress is interpreted as “silent or ambiguous,” according to the authors,” the executive branch must fill in any ‘gaps’ implicitly or explicitly left by Congress in the course of administering congressional programs.”

An example of such gaps is ‘derivatives,’ “noncitizen spouses or children of alien beneficiaries, who can immigrate with the so-called principal whom they accompany.” (p. 21)

The most important question which remains to be answered is how many millions of illegal aliens will qualify for executive discretionary amnesty and will be allowed to remain permanently in the United States, receive work permits, benefits, and eventual citizenship, competing with the already huge block of unemployed, low and high skilled Americans? Additionally, how would such millions be absorbed seamlessly into the fabric of our society without permanently altering the character of who we are and the respect for the rule of law? Will they accept our culture and our language? There was obviously no respect for our borders since they were here illegally. Will this discretionary amnesty encourage an unstoppable chain migration?

Amnesty for 34 Million Illegal Aliens

The ISIS threat has already been forgotten and the Ebola crisis has been dumped in the lap of the Department of Defense. Climate change has been declared to be the number one threat to our national security. The next manufactured crisis to be resolved is amnesty by fiat.

Soldiers, highly trained to fight wars only, will provide medical containment expertise, testing for Ebola, and hermetic and cremation mortuary services, in place of the local burial rites that have contributed to the rapid spread of Ebola.

Why stop the flights from the affected countries and ban the travel and visas for West African citizens affected by the epidemic when we can deploy thousands of healthy U.S. soldiers to contain Ebola at its source? If any foreign national travels sick to the U.S. and spreads Ebola to anyone he/she comes in contact with, it’s a chance that we have to take because we don’t want to deprive those foreign nationals of their right to travel or affect their economies.

“Operation United Assistance” began with the President’s request to Congress to make “excess Overseas Contingency Operations funds appropriated for FY2014” to respond to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. The funds will be used for:

-          “Transportation of DOD and non-DOD personnel and supplies

-          Coordination and delivery of supplies from both DOD and non-DOD sources such as isolation units, personnel protective equipment, and medical supplies

-          Construction of 17 planned Ebola treatment units

-          Training and education in support of mortuary affairs functions to limit the spread of the Ebola outbreak.” http://fas.org/sgp/natsec/IN10152.pdf?

In October 2014, 1,400 soldiers were deployed, 700 from the Army’s 101st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and the remainder combat engineers from other units. Trained how to “avoid contracting Ebola and other endemic diseases,” the troops will be led by Maj. Gen. Gary Volesky who is replacing Maj. Gen. Darryl Williams. http://fas.org/sgp/natsec/IN10152.pdf?

Following requests made on September 8 and September 17, 2014, the House and Senate Appropriations and Armed Services Committees made available $1 billion for “DOD’s support of the United States’ response to the current Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Some of the funding from the initial $500 million request would be available to support continuing humanitarian activities in Iraq.”

In the meantime, the feds are preparing for the amnesty of 34 million illegal aliens by government fiat, in a manner which is very similar to the flood of unaccompanied illegal alien children (bused and flown from Central America to our southern border), that occurred months after the federal government (DHS’s ICE) advertised in January 29, 2014, looking for Escort Services for 65,000 Unaccompanied Alien Children.

Many church charities jumped at the opportunity to receive millions in grants to care for and settle illegal minors. As we know, these illegal minors were quietly distributed across the country in small towns. Many were infected with illnesses that have been previously eradicated in this country or were unknown to this country. Lacking proper hygiene, some allegedly brought in the “mystery” respiratory illness with partial paralysis, caused by the enterovirus D68, endemic to Central America, which has killed several American children.

FedBizOps.gov, the site for federal business opportunities, posted on October 3, 2014, solicitation number HSSCCG-14-R-00028 by the Department of Homeland Security, the Citizenship and Immigration Services, called Card Consumables. As stated in the draft solicitation posting, “The objective of this procurement is to provide card consumables for the Document Management Division (DMD) that will be used to produce Permanent Resident Cards (PRC) and Employment Authorization Documentation (EAD) cards. The requirement is for an estimated 4 million cards annually with the potential to buy as many as 34 million cards total. The ordering periods for this requirement shall be for a total of five (5) years.” https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=20bc202b0a49bbe9f2a705782dba0090&tab=core&tabmode=list&=

It is obvious that the clandestine plan is to amnesty millions of illegal aliens by Executive Order since the American people vehemently oppose amnesty and Congress is unwilling to pass (before mid-term elections) the very unpopular law supported by big businesses who want cheap labor.

One thing is certain, once the cards are issued, the already dire unemployment figures among America’s blue collar workers are going to worsen and the welfare rolls are going to swell. The Democrats will be singing happily all the way to the voting booths, having achieved in perpetuity the fundamental transformation of America into a one party system utopia.

The Tragedy of the Regime's Social Engineering

It is so sad to watch Latin American children used as human props for political gain by our government, intent on forcing America into a third world status and more diversification.

It is even sadder to see that so many parents were so deluded and irresponsible that they sent their children in the company of coyotes who, for a fee, dropped them at the border, to be then bused and flown by our government to locations around the country.  In transit these children were potentially abused and sexually molested.

Our own border patrol officers and doctors, under the threat of being fired, have to play nannies and babysitters to so many children who have been sent alone across the entire country of Mexico.

The illegal immigrant children are released in a hurry to individuals whose citizenship status is not checked, who are no doubt illegals themselves and will not show up for court hearings. Why the hurry and cloak and dagger atmosphere to process these children and place them so quickly when some of the diseases they carry take time to test in a lab and identify medically?

The United Nation is seeking refugee status for illegal immigrants, a term used for individuals fleeing a war-torn country. There is no war in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. There is poverty and there are violent drug cartels, a glaring evidence of these countries’ lack of leadership. Is the United States now responsible for the world’s impoverished children?

We used to quarantine legal immigrants at Ellis Island to make sure that the health and safety of Americans were protected. Under the new world order, the local population no longer matters, the illegal immigrant, a vector for disease, is now more important and can come and go as they please, so long as they are not white Europeans.

A case in point is Oleksandra Bronova, a Ukrainian citizen, neither Mexican nor Central American, married to an American, former Marine Bryan Price. She speaks English, is a Cambridge graduate who speaks five languages, and has no criminal record. Unlike the majority crossing the border via Juarez who have criminal records and provide fake family histories, Bronova fled her war torn Ukraine, seeking asylum in the United States with her husband while awaiting visa proceedings. They attempted to cross our southern border with a visitors permit and were stopped by border patrol agents.

“While the Obama regime is rolling out the red carpet for illegal aliens as they cross our border, one woman found herself thrown in a high security prison.” She was arrested and thrown, shackled and chained, in the Otero Country prison while notorious MS-13 gang members have been allowed to enter the United States under the idiotic guise of fleeing drug cartel and gang violence.

“KFOX14 has inquired with federal agents why Central American illegal aliens, many with criminal histories, were being granted entrance, while someone with no criminal history has been thrown into a maximum security prison. The feds demanded a privacy waiver from Bronova before answering. Although the news station secured the privacy waiver, federal officials have still not responded to the question.” http://www.tpnn.com/2014/07/05/video-ms-13-gang-members-allowed-into-u-s-but-wife-of-marine-veteran-thrown-in-prison/

It is sad to see that law, order, and our borders have been erased by the social engineering of the current regime who wants to alter the demographics of areas they deem too conservative.

It is sad to see how the Democrat political agenda trumps the safety of our country and of our citizens who are now haplessly exposed to diseases and parasites they’ve only read or heard about in textbooks. Americans and their children will now be exposed to lice, scabies, TB, Ebola, Chagas disease, STDs, hepatitis, measles, chicken pox, whopping cough, and other childhood diseases carried by innocent and unvaccinated children from Central America.

To illustrate how serious this is, every available panel in the malls around Washington, D.C., are occupied with ads urging people in both Spanish and English to vaccinate their children against childhood diseases formerly eradicated in this country.  And these expensive ads are not aimed at just a small segment of the American parents influenced by Hollywood propaganda who refuse to vaccinate their children because they are convinced vaccines cause autism.

According to the husband and wife callers, Ed and Ann, on the Rush Limbaugh show, our federal government has asked the Catholic Church in southern California, under a hush request, to house these illegal immigrant moms and their children in parishioners’’ homes thus putting their health at serious risk. Because we are a caring and generous nation, 70 percent of the congregations agreed. Apparently, the bishop of the Archdiocese of San Bernardino ordered the parish priest to absorb these illegal aliens.

Rumor has it that illegal alien children may be or have already been relocated to Prince William County fairgrounds in Virginia and citizens are terribly upset because the regime is putting our children in danger. http://virginiavirtucon.wordpress.com/2014/07/08/rumor-feds-may-relocate-illegal-aliens-to-prince-william-co-fairgrounds/

Congressman Phil Gingrey of Georgia, a medical doctor, accuses our government of creating a “severe and dangerous” crisis by housing around the country Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) who lack basic vaccinations. Pictures that have been leaked out by whistleblowers show horrendous infestations of lice, scabies, measles, and chicken pox.

Congressman Gingrey sent a letter to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) demanding to know how the agency is planning to handle the public health crisis caused by the flood of minors. He said, “As the unaccompanied children continue to be transported to shelters around the country on commercial airlines and other forms of transportation, I have serious concerns that the diseases carried by these children may begin to spread too rapidly to control.  In fact, as you undoubtedly know, some of these diseases have no known cure.”

Judicial Watch found in an internal agency report that “the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is forcing Border Patrol agents to serve as babysitters for the UACs.” These are officers tasked to prevent terrorists and weapons of mass destruction from entering the U.S. but are now “responsible for feeding, monitoring, interacting and providing security’ for illegal alien minors until they are placed elsewhere.”

The CDC has activated an Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Congressman Gingrey wrote, “I firmly believe the public deserves to know the specific actions the EOC and other departments of the CDC are taking to combat and prevent the spread of communicable diseases.”  A serious health threat is covered up, “the amount of tuberculosis is astonishing.” http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2014/07/illegal-alien-minors-spreading-tb-ebola-dengue-swine-flu/

Agent Ron Zermeno, health and safety director of the National Border Patrol Council Local 1613 received a letter from Kathleen Scudder, assistant chief patrol agent of the San Diego Sector, which discloses the investigation into his conduct of issuing press releases ‘without proper authorization.’

In spite of the cease-and-desist letter, Zermeno feels that it is his duty to protect the public and tell the truth even though he may lose his job. He said, “As a union officer, I feel it’s my job to expose when management is putting people at risk. They violated their oath as Border Patrol agents.” Three agents at the Brown Field Border Patrol Station contracted scabies during processing illegal immigrants from Texas. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/382218/border-patrol-tells-agent-you-must-cease-and-desist-speaking-media-ryan-lovelace

Making immigration law irrelevant and the borders disappear, while flooding the country with illegal minors infected with communicable diseases that pose a serious threat to our nation, is outrageous to all law-abiding Americans. I wonder what the four million legal immigrants think, who have been waiting for the resolution of their cases to come to the United States for years. They have filled out the proper paperwork, filed the documents, paid the fees, provided proof that they can support themselves financially and not be a burden to the U.S. government, and provided the clean bill of health documents required for legal immigration.

How Long Before the Founding Fathers’ America Disappears?

Courtesy: CFP
One of my readers sadly remarked that this is no longer America that she grew up in. And the change that occurred at a dizzying pace happened relatively overnight. It was not a gradual transformation born by normal change over time; it was a fundamental forced transformation from a constitutional republic to a rule by a corporatist and international banking oligarchy that pulls the strings of the former branches of government, executive, legislative, and judicial.

A soft coup has occurred that had been planned for years, unbeknownst to most Americans who are still busy thinking that, if they just elect the right candidate this time and energize the vote in one more election, things will turn around and the rule of law will be restored. They are not taking into account the millions of illegal aliens who are registered to vote, the deceased vote, and those who are bussed from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador and dropped off in Arizona, including young children to be housed on military bases at considerable cost per child to the U.S. taxpayers. These children will be reunited eventually with their families here, doubling, tripling, and quadrupling any estimates of the illegal vote. The newly amnestied Dreamers have already cast their votes in the last presidential election and helped re-elect our President.

The MSM across the board has morphed into the cheering promoters and excusers of the regime, the de facto propaganda arm of this fast change to a soft tyranny. Few Americans have noticed the not-so-subtle rhetorical changes. One recent example is the capitalist phrase “middle class” has become the communist “working class.”

The rule of law has been replaced in “this year of action” by executive orders and regulations issued directly by various bureaucratic “public servants” and agencies directly answering to no one who have become, in essence rulers by fiat. Most recently, student debt was called upon to be relieved by “millionaires” who must now expiate their sins of being entrepreneurial, hard-working investors and job creators by paying for those who got worthless degrees with which they cannot find employment in the job-destroying Obama economy.

The government has bailed out everything from car companies, banks, student loans, and mortgage companies. The feds have replaced our education system with Bill Gates’ vision of academia funded by his own millions and the government’s Race to the Top billions – a never before tested and bizarre curriculum called Common Core. The complicit teachers and administrators followed the money and the directives like drones guided by a remote.

Marching more and more into the nanny state, parents are losing the right to their children (either to local schools, child protective services, foster care, or hospitals), sugary drinks and other non-government approved foods are banned, minimum wage is pushed to $15 an hour, even though it will hurt employment, China is taking over our food production, manufacturing, and farming. Pharmaceuticals are already controlled by a few manufacturers and some drugs are harder to find, in short supply, or no longer produced. Vitamins and over-the-counter drugs are more strictly controlled, particularly in Europe.

Medical care is becoming a more expensive service for most Americans thanks to Obamacare that was supposed to insure 15 percent of uninsured Americans yet in the end, it has uninsured millions by pushing them out of the market. American families who were previously insured can no longer afford the high premiums and deductibles associated with the Obamacare exchanges. Many doctors have retired or have stopped accepting Medicare and Medicaid altogether due to the hassle, mandatory electronic record compliance, and low government reimbursement rates. The IRS has become the insurance enforcer and punisher of insurance non-compliance.

Where we live, where we build, and how densely populated we are allowed to live, has been taken over by the Regionalism and Sustainability plans of UN Agenda 21 via draconian, property rights infringing zoning regulations. Everything we do in life must be “green and sustainable” thanks to the environmentalist Gaia-centered agenda.

Global warming/climate change now drive every political decision made at every level of government, fleecing citizens worldwide of unnecessary billions and trillions in carbon taxes, much higher utility rates, expensive gasoline prices, and any other type of fossil fuel-generated energy.

Fossil fuels have become dirty words in the progressives’ war against coal, a war bankrupting as many companies as possible that do not or cannot afford to comply with strict EPA emissions or with expensive and inadequate power generation by renewables.

Smart meters and smart appliances are now forced on the entire globe, sold under the guise of a smarter, more efficient grid. It is so smart that it is a sitting duck to any cyber-attack, solar flare, or a simple physical attack on substations. All smart appliances and electronic gadgets have become spying devices without a warrant, providing every detail of our intimate lives to the NSA.

We can now be killed and imprisoned indefinitely without due process. NASA has turned into a feel-good agency for the Muslims. Drones are flying around the country spying on innocent citizens who have done nothing wrong. NSA is recording everything.

Illegals are bussed in to overwhelm the southern states, our economy, the health care system, and the educational system, with the intent of changing our national demographics because the oligarchs have decided that we are not diverse enough, they need cheap labor, and more low information or no information Democrat voters.

Under the guise of an impending “humanitarian disaster,” which, according to the press in Honduras, was created by our own government who promised under-age illegal aliens no deportation and immediate amnesty, children between the ages of 5-18 are bussed and flown across Mexico from Central America to be housed temporarily in Arizona, Oklahoma, and Texas. Reports streaming out of these holding facilities claim that serious infectious diseases and sexual activity are rampant. These countries are poor and economically strapped but these children are not Castro’s Peter Pan children.

One astute caller asked why these minors are not sent back to be reunited with their families in their home countries instead of allowing them to create such chaos in our country that is already reeling from crisis after crisis. He mentioned the “Elian Gonzalez Doctrine.”  Elian survived the defection attempt from Castro’s Cuba but his mother drowned at sea. After weeks of round the clock media circus, Attorney General Janet Reno used the force of law and armed men to snatch this frightened boy from the safety of his aunt’s house and returned him to his father in Cuba. Elian became an instant propaganda tool for Fidel Castro.

For a long time the goal of immigration was assimilation into the American culture, learning English, becoming a contributor to our way of life and enriching the diverse fabric of our society while retaining the American exceptionalism.

Now liberals have devised the “path to citizenship,” immigration forgiveness for breaking our laws, a clever system of bringing the supposedly scared and frightened people, who broke our laws and live around us in plain sight, “out of the shadows.” They called them “undocumented workers,” “undocumented Americans,” “paperless immigrants,” and many other deceptive euphemisms.

Liberals are forcing us to accept these illegals as equal citizens with the same rights and benefits but not the same responsibilities we have as American citizens.  In the meantime, more than 4 million legal immigrants are awaiting the resolution of their cases to come to the U.S. I often wondered why illegal aliens are risking life and limb to come here if the freedom and the opportunity to succeed are long gone. The answer is simple – they are so poor, they come for the generous welfare because such programs do not exist in their countries and we, the taxpayers, are overly generous to a fault.  Can we and should we work to support all the poor of the world? Do we not become slaves to foreign nationals when we spend so much of our time on earth earning a living and then giving it away in taxes and welfare? To make matters worse, these people do not want to assimilate.

Theodore Roosevelt’s words ring so true. “In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American… There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag… We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language… And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”

Our returning vets are treated as social trash and stripped of the right to get decent medical care. Illegal aliens receive first class free health treatment in our best hospitals around the country but vets must use the VA substandard facilities where waiting lists and waiting list for the waiting lists are condemning many to unnecessary death when they should receive the best treatment in any hospital in the country.

Illegal aliens are flooding the country at an alarming rate and the regime is encouraging it by not enforcing the law. We no longer have a border per se, we have lost our sovereignty to the one-world globalists who have no allegiance to the country they were born in, they are men and women without a country and with a dark heart ruled by money, power, control, and corruption.

The people of my generation believed in “the best of times are yet to come” because the values of the depression era generation were still vibrating in the background of our country. The values of today are worrisome, perplexing, and frustrating. Our grandchildren don’t know history, government, and economics. They bury their heads in the proverbial sand called reality television and social media as the politicians and their constituents are burying their own children and grandchildren in insurmountable debt.

Faith and churches have been taken over by communists and sympathizers of the “religion of peace” which makes no secret of its plan to install a world caliphate, a theocracy that would destroy any dissenting non-believer who still does not understand that Islam is not a religion; it is a political system incompatible with our Constitution. Liberals are very busy appeasing them, inviting them into our midst, and making room for any demand in the name of tolerance and the utopian right to Coexist.

The destructive work of liberals cannot be complete without the final push for an Article V Convention to rewrite the outdated and foggy Constitution written by “evil” men of “white privilege.”

Tyranny is tyranny, whether it is soft, socialist, communist, fascistic, or theocratic. Just when it seems that all is lost, the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Eric Cantor, is sent packing by real Virginians who are tired of Cantor’s doubling down on amnesty, and the Tea Party candidate, David Brat, wins the primary.

Amnesty, American Values, and Economic Dependency

Ellis Island Immigrants
In the ongoing battle about amnesty for illegal aliens, one recurring theme has been “these are not American values,” meaning that we have to bestow citizenship on these people who broke our laws because they are already here, we can’t send them back, it’s un-American. This question should be asked, what are the American values the proponents of amnesty on both sides of the isle in Congress are referring to?

Being a law abiding American who lives by American values is clearly spelled out in the Declaration of Independence and in the U.S. Constitution. George Washington warned us that we must defend our values and laws from “the impostures of pretended patriotism.”

Let every American pledge his life, his property, and his sacred honor; let every man remember that to violate the law, is to trample on the blood of his father, and to tear the character of his own, and his children’s liberty. Let reverence for the laws, be breathed by every American mother, to the lisping babe, that prattles on her lap – let it be taught in schools, in seminaries, and in colleges; let it be written in Primers, spelling books, and in Almanacs; - let it be preached from the pulpit, proclaimed in legislative halls, and enforced in courts of justice.”

What are these American values? Americans believe that all men are created equal and God endowed us with the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These values are self-sufficiency, not dependence on government, personal responsibility, respect for the law, hard work, family, Judeo-Christian values, and equal opportunity for excellence, not forced quotas, nor forced equality by government redistribution of wealth under the guise of the communist mantra of “social justice.”

Preying on our sympathy, kindness, and generosity to foreign nations, we are being guilted and forced to be generous with lawbreakers by awarding them citizenship because they jumped a fence, swam across a river, or walked through the hot desert, putting their lives in peril, defying and disrespecting our borders and our laws.

This amnesty is forced on the American people at a time when we can ill-afford to be generous, with millions of Americans unemployed, underemployed, and on welfare, facing the fundamental destruction of our healthcare.

Legal immigration laws should be written to augment the interests of the American people and to defend the vital interests of the United States, not the interests of the illegal immigrant who broke our laws.

Are the new American values having 50 percent of our population dependent on welfare while expecting a financial entitlement from the labor of the other 50 % of the population who works hard to support them through burdensome taxation?

What are the children of the entitlement state, including illegal aliens, going to do when there are no more taxpayers to steal from? Having escaped third world impoverished socialist countries, illegals come here not to assimilate into our culture but to demand “full communism because they value a fair society and social justice.”

What was wrong with the old immigration system when we enforced the borders and enforced the law? What was wrong with immigrants coming here to obtain a green card and work legally? What was wrong with them going back home after they finished school or work? What was wrong with upholding the law, the sovereignty of our country?

Why is the system broken? Is cheap labor for crony capitalists so important that we no longer enforce the law, we are allowing illegal aliens to flood the country and surround us via the southern border with Mexico, while people who are not so lucky and live across oceans are waiting patiently for visas, going through proper channels, doing the legal paperwork?

Jeh Johnson, Homeland Security Secretary, said on ABC’s “This Week” that “Immigration laws or any other law needs to comport with American values. One of those American values is respect for human dignity. I also believe one of those American values is respect for the sanctity of the family unit.” http://cnsnews.com/news/article/susan-jones/dhs-secretary-immigration-law-should-respect-sanctity-family-unit

Perhaps we should point out that the family reunification program which accounts for approximately two-thirds of permanent immigration to the United States each year was designed for legal immigration by the Immigration Act of 1990. In 2001, the former INS had an application backlog of 3.9 million people awaiting family reunification visas.  Top countries in this category were Mexico, Philippines, China, India, Vietnam, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Colombia, Jamaica, and El Salvador. http://www.migrationpolicy.org/article/family-reunification

Secretary Johnson is contemplating a modification to the “priority list” by giving amnesty to illegal aliens who have not committed “serious crimes,” to include those who have re-entered the U.S. after being deported previously and those who fled immigration court proceedings. It is interesting to note that one third of inmates in U.S. jails are illegal aliens.  Why should these illegals have priority over the 4 million legal immigrants awaiting the resolution of their backlogged visas? http://www.frontpagemag.com/2014/ian-smith/obamas-backdoor-amnesty-plan/

In the meantime, illegal aliens have received $4.2 billion in earned income tax credit in the previous year for children who did not necessarily reside in the U.S., using Individual Tax Identification Numbers (ITIN). ITIN was designed by the IRS to encourage illegals to pay taxes but created instead a Pandora’s box of entitlements for illegal aliens, including allowing them to mix easier into our society and to vote illegally. http://cis.org/IRSTaxID-ImmigrationLaw

Brooks County, Texas, with a land mass twice the size of Manhattan Island, has four deputies to protect the American residents under “assaults every day and every night” by illegal immigrants that liberals call euphemistically “paperless/undocumented Americans.” Rescuing illegal immigrants and picking up the bodies of those who don’t make it across has brought the county to the brink of bankruptcy.  According to ALIPAC, “129 undocumented immigrants were found dead just in Brooks County in 2012, which is more than triple the number who were found dead in the county just six years ago.” The more discussion of ‘amnesty’ in Washington, the more immigrants risk their lives to come to the U.S. now, especially from Central America. http://www.alipac.us/content/texas-county-facing-bankruptcy-due-illegal-immigration-2850/

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush described instances of illegal immigration as “acts of love.” Perhaps he was referring to those who enter illegally or those who overstay legal visas in order to earn money to provide for their families back home. Brandon Darby describes “35 Acts of Love” in his recent column in Breitbart.com. They include targeted assassinations, human trafficking, drug smuggling, border patrol killings, assaults with rocks and bullets, rapes, and other heinous crimes. http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-Texas/2014/04/10/Thirty-Five-Acts-of-Love-from-the-Mexican-Border

Dr. Rich Swier wrote, “In a report released by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) the impact of providing College Tuition subsidy for Illegal Aliens (HB851/SB1400 a.k.a. in-state tuition) will be that approximately 5,000 legal students will be displaced in Florida higher education institutions by illegal alien students.” Among these are the newly amnestied “Dreamers” who voted in the November 2012 election. http://teapartyorg.ning.com/forum/topics/5000-legal-students-in-florida-to-lose-their-tuition-to-illegals

American citizens have a right to decide who becomes a citizen. But, according to Ann Coulter, “liberal judicial activist” Justice Brennan wrote a footnote in his 1982, 5-4 opinion on Plyler v. Doe which gave us anchor babies. That act alone nullified our right to decide who becomes a citizen. “Combine Justice Brennan’s footnote with America’s ludicrously generous welfare policies, and you end up with a bankrupt country.” http://www.humanevents.com/2010/08/04/justice-brennans-footnote-gave-us-anchor-babies/

With 16 major chains closing or planning on closing stores across America, Staples, Office Depot, Radio Shack, Albertsons, Safeway (Dominick’s in Chicago), Abercrombie and Fitch, Barnes and Noble, J.C. Penney, Toys R Us, Sweetbay Supermarket, Loehmann’s, Quiznos, Sears and Kmart, Ruby Tuesday, Red Lobster, and Ralph’s, more Americans will be unemployed, having to compete for jobs with 12 million potential amnestied illegal aliens and their extended families, while tax revenues that support welfare dependency will decrease. http://endtimeheadlines.org/economy/these-16-major-retail-chains-closing-stores-across-america/

Why must we dilute the composition of our society so much that our votes no longer count and America is changed fundamentally into a hodge-podge of unassimilated ethnic groups who do not care about our country’s future, traditions and history? Does anyone remember Rome’s history?
