Energy, the Inept Socialist Way

The sunshine and balmier weather is giving some American people a reprieve from having to use so much energy to heat their homes as prices escalate due to the draconian measures the Biden regime had adopted on his first day in office – executive orders that shut down the Keystone XL pipeline, off-shore drilling permits, and drilling on federal land.

We had been an oil exporter during the Trump presidency, but we have become an oil importer from Russia during the Biden regime. This is not a good time to become dependent on such a  bellicose country which is now helping escalate the price of gas and fuel around the world.

Poor neighbors such as Romania have found themselves having to pay 450 euros for a month’s electric bill when the country’s average salary is 350 euros. How are poor people supposed to keep warm or find affordable fuel for their cars? Is an energy crisis looming?

Eastern Europeans are no strangers to energy crises or shortages. Cold winters and the inept Communist Party central planning brought power shortages, heat, electricity, and rationing of gasoline at the pumps. Americans have not had to deal with such problems in recent memory.

Drastically cutting back on energy and banning private cars in Romania, for example, in the frigid winter of 1984-85 did little to deal with the shortage of energy supplies. Mismanagement by communist apparatchiks, who did not know how to properly run the “socialist economy” and did not really care, reduced imports of everything and increased exports of gas and oil and Romania did not have enough energy and electricity for its own citizens.

The draconian measures to save energy, a severe lack of electricity, hot water, and heat in the communist concrete and steel blocks and very cold apartments (still in use today), factories, public buildings, frigid government stores, caused so much illness and death among the population, some of whom froze to death.

According to David Funderburk, former Ambassador to Romania during the extremely cold winter of 1984-85, one in three babies died or were born severely malformed; many babies died in neonatal units when the incubators were unplugged to save electricity.  Old and young alike died from a scarcity of food and heat.

How did so many people live in cold and drab concrete 5-9 story apartments that were poorly built, heated, and electrified? The tyrant and his communists in power wanted to create the new socialist man and a new society, built back better, so he called for the destruction of private homes. If people were forced to abandon their homes overnight and herded into such high-rise and small space apartments, the state commissar could keep a better watch and a heavy boot on their necks, thus more easily controlling the citizens’ every move. The “new socialist plan” called for seizure of their lands for “the common good” and hundreds of thousands of private homes, with more space than the communist apartment blocks, were bulldozed.

The poor villagers and former farmers became dependent on the socialist state practically overnight. They could no longer get firewood in their village for heat or cooking, they had to beg the totalitarian state for their rations of timber, supplies of rationed gas, and supplies of rationed electricity.

And the communist lackeys did not stop just at destroying people’s homes. They destroyed their village churches and city churches, some of whom had withstood hundreds of years of history and turmoil. The totalitarian socialist state recognized 14 denominations but they called them cults.  (Armenian, Baptist, Catholic, Evangelical Christian, Lutheran, Reformed, Islamic, Jewish, Old Rite Christian, Pentecostal Evangelical, Presbyterian Evangelical, Seventh Day Adventist, Romanian Orthodox [the largest denomination], and Unitarian).

The communist tyrant did all this because he wanted to force the “passage from the bourgeois-landlord society to the multilaterally developed socialist society.” In this process he destroyed priceless historical monuments that could no longer be replaced. Destroying history, art and architecture, he destroyed the people’s identity, memories, and connections to their shared past, good or bad.

In a not so distant future our American children will find themselves in a similar position when their connection to the past history will be forever altered or completely severed by the hordes of woke mobs. Right now they are just changing historical names of buildings and streets, removing classical books from libraries and bookstores, and destroying statues. Eventually they will erase their shared past completely and create a deceptive one.

After the destruction of so many churches, religious persecution followed. Children and grandchildren of religious figures, active churches members, and some of those who occasionally showed up for religious services, were discriminated against and some were jailed under trumped-up charges. People were charged with “serious misconduct of the socialist ethics and of the political and moral behavior” of the new socialist man.

If young people had relatives who had hunted down communists in the early days of the Bolshevik takeover of the monarchy, they were labeled in the socialist society as pariahs and nobody would marry them or their children. Dossiers followed them for the rest of their lives.

In 1972 and 1981, as part of a “good faith” offers, the socialist tyrant allowed equal shipments of Bibles translated into Romanian. Of the promised 20,000 Bibles, around 200 were actually delivered to churches. The rest of the Bibles were poorly recycled into toilet paper made at a factory in Braila. I had some of that toilet paper in my hand one day – words from the Bible were still visible on the badly recycled paper. That is what Christianity and its Bible meant to the communists and still does today.

Small mountain villages, where the communist party had not fully inserted itself and forcibly collectivized the farmers, experienced their tyrannical handprint anyway– there was no electricity, heating oil, gasoline, running water, or medical care. Church services and people’s modest homes were lit with candles or oil lamps. Heat came from firewood when available. The sad reality was that my paternal and maternal grandparents only lived 24 miles and 6 miles respectively from the seven largest refineries in Eastern Europe at the time, yet they only got electricity sometime in the mid-seventies.

Do we really want to go this painful route of scarcity, high prices, and rationing, in the name of green energy, solar and wind, that is not enough to service a large economy and 340 million people?

Western nations like Germany have learned a hard lesson from expensive and unreliable green energy, and are quietly and slowly reverting to fossil fuels as their brown-outs and high prices have taken a heavy toll on their respective economies.

Rationing Electricity, A/C, and Heat

A lot of humans have died from heat exposure, in freezing temperatures, in wilderness, in war trenches, frozen on Mt. Everest, marching in war convoys, marching to concentration camps, inside concentration camp barracks, in gulags in subzero temperatures, submerged in icy water, in crashes on mountain tops or jungles, hiking, mountain climbing, and many other horrible conditions.

Angel, a Jew sent to Auschwitz in Nazi Germany, witnessed an entire ward freeze to death overnight, without beds, heat, and food. She alone survived with an old man because she spent all night trying to warm him up, rubbing his hands, legs, face, and neck. When the sun came up, there was an eerie silence around them, they were surrounded by frozen corpses. Nobody should suffer such inhuman conditions.

Nobody should suffer extreme heat or freeze to death in their homes because they cannot afford heat or air conditioning from whatever source or because they cannot pay their utility bills.

Nobody should be forced by the global elites’ U.N. Agenda 2030 to achieve “net zero” emissions by setting their furnaces to a high of 60 degrees Fahrenheit in winter and their air conditioners to 80+ F degrees in summer.

There was nothing positive about the installation of Smart Meters around the globe starting ten years ago. They are more expensive than traditional meters, don’t last long, the cost per kWh per customer has increased dramatically, it spies on each household without a search warrant, it cuts off power to homes during high demand in the coldest or hottest days of the year, sell the data it collects to third parties, bombards homes with radiation every 12 seconds, and it causes health issues in sensitive customers when the smart meter is attached directly to the home.

The Telegraph has reported on February 8, 2022, that “Smart meters are to automatically send energy suppliers half-hourly updates on their customers’ power use in a revolutionary move that will allow ‘surge pricing’ in millions of households’ bills.”

The energy regulator Ofgem will be granted legal powers in May to charge customers at peak times more for electricity usage and customers must “opt in.”

Smart Meters were first introduced as “opt in” but became mandatory quickly and people had to fight in courts to be able to ‘opt out.’ Claimed price savings and convenience from the installation of Smart Meters never materialized. It only benefitted the utilities because it did not have to store excess capacity for times when the demand was higher. The “surge pricing” is also described as saving customers money whereby said customers would use electricity at times when the charges are lower. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/other/smart-meter-overhaul-to-open-gates-for-e2-80-98surge-pricing-e2-80-99/ar-AATDUJ6?ocid=uxbndlbing

Customers who live in old homes, use outdated appliances, need electricity around the clock for life-saving devices or more heat will be penalized, and will pay much higher prices on fixed incomes.

Might such individuals who live on fixed incomes and who might have their power cut off for lack of payment freeze in their own homes or die of heat strokes? It has happened certainly in the U.S. and elsewhere during extremely cold winters and very hot summers.

Imagine millions of electric cars, all trying to charge at the same time during the night, and the large economy also pulling electricity from the grid during those times. What exactly would happen to the grid? It will certainly crash, resulting in unnecessary deaths from freezing, heat strokes, or the inability to use life-saving devices.

Imagine so much deforestation to meet the cardboard boxes and paper bags demand that people would be unable to find sufficient wood to heat their homes.

Imagine the prices of home heating fuel escalating due to the anti-fossil fuel policies of western administrations around the world who harmonize their globalist policies to dispense with fossil fuels by 2050.

Imagine being unable to obtain the necessary electricity from solar panels and wind turbines to supply large economies and the population. How many will freeze to death or die of heat strokes due to such idiotic and unworkable socialist regime policies?

It seems that we are not willing to learn from history, not just our own, but the history of other socialist regimes run by the Communist Party into the ground.

Even before the harsh winter of 1984-85, the socialist regime in my former country was not prepared to deliver adequate levels of energy supplies to the people. Winters had power shortages, heat, sudden and arbitrary electricity, water, and hot water cutoffs, and rationing of gasoline at the pumps.

Private cars were banned on the roads, heat to apartments, buildings, and factories was cut in half, in hopes to save energy at the expense of the people. It did not just create misery all around, but it caused so much unnecessary illness and death by freezing. Babies died in incubators in hospitals when electric plugs were pulled to save energy.

Former Ambassador David B. Funderburk wrote in his book, Pinstripes and Reds, that in the winter of 1984-85 “reports indicated that one of every three babies born in hospitals in Romania during the winter of 1984-85 either died or was born severely ill and deformed.” (p. 80)

The extreme cold and snow were gone by April 1985, but private cars were still banned from the roads and highways in order to save on fossil fuels. The lack of energy, heat, and food killed a lot of very young and old people that infamous winter.

Are we willing to suffer such death by freezing and famine in our former land of plenty because the country is run by a socialist globalist cabal intent on destroying the U.S. and bringing it into the dark ages? How much anemic light and darkness, and cold in winter are you willing to tolerate in our stores and homes? And for that matter, how many people are willing to sacrifice who will die in summertime from excessive heat without the benefit of air conditioning, refrigeration, and the electricity that runs them?

Energy Poverty Around the World

The global warming/climate change industry has been aggressively pushing renewable energy, wind, solar, and biofuels for a long time even though the economies of various industrialized countries need much more energy than what renewables generate.

The green activists have been zealously lobbying Congress and the EPA to change the laws, rules, and regulations that would make it much more expensive and difficult for fossil fuel energy producers to survive while passing the higher costs onto consumers, impoverishing those customers on fixed incomes and taking away disposable income from the rest.

Green energy causes electricity poverty around the world. Today the Fraser Institute of Canada, an independent, non-partisan public policy think-tank released a study that found that energy poverty is on the rise in Canada.

"Government policies that raise electricity prices may push some families into energy poverty and further stretch the household budgets of families already in energy poverty," said Taylor Jackson, study co-author and policy analyst at the Fraser Institute.

"Because high energy costs take a large bite out of many household budgets, families across Canada pay the price when government energy policies boost the cost of electricity," said Kenneth Green, the Fraser Institute's senior director of natural resource studies and co-author of Energy Costs and Canadian Households: How Much Are We Spending?

According to the study, Canadian households that make $47,700 or less per year are disproportionately affected by energy poverty.

The Fraser Institute found that in 2013 the three regions most affected by energy poverty were Atlantic Canada at 20.6 percent, Saskatchewan at 12.9 percent and Ontario at 7.5 percent, with a general 7.9 percentage in Canada. “Between 2010 and 2013, energy poverty was on the rise in most provinces.” British Columbia had the lowest at 5.3 percent.

The study authors also found that the Green Energy Act of Ontario is responsible for the increase in electricity prices.

In 2013 Der Spiegel warned us that “the political world is wedged between the green-energy lobby, masquerading as saviors of the world, and the established electric utilities, with their dire warnings of chaotic supply problems and job losses.” http://www.spiegel.de/international/germany/high-costs-and-errors-of-german-transition-to-renewable-energy-a-920288.html

In Germany, the Energiewende, or energy wave (revolution), was “Chancellor Angela Merkel’s project of the century.” It turned out to be a flop, although not as bad as her recent policy of welcoming with open arms of waves of violent Muslims into Europe.

After the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan, Merkel “quickly decided to begin phasing out nuclear power and lead the country into the age of wind and solar.” The government-predicted renewable energy surcharge turned out to be higher than the 20 percent price hike.

Of all the companies that must pay the renewable energy surcharge, 2,300 German businesses with lobbying representation, were able to exempt themselves from this green energy surcharge by claiming tough international competition.

Der Spiegel said that German customers were forced to pay 20 billion euros for electricity from solar, wind, and biofuel plants that had a market price of only 3 billion euros. The authors explained that this cost did not include “unintended costs and collateral damage associated with the project.” The costs included the fact that, depending on weather and time of day, the entire country can face “absurd states of energy surplus or deficit.” Solar panels and wind turbines can generate lots of electricity at times and other times zero.

According to Der Spiegel, more than 300,000 German households a year had their electricity cut off for unpaid bills. Caritas, a charity group, called this “energy poverty.”

Sweden, a heavily forested country, used up its biomass from wood and paper industry waste to fuel conventional power plants; once it exhausted this source, it switched to wind farms on land because the offshore ones were very expensive and tended to rust much quicker.

There is no doubt that Americans have also been affected by energy poverty. The Institute for Energy Research is citing the case of the residents in Pueblo, Colorado. The state’s Clean Air-Clean Jobs Act forced inexpensive coal plants to be closed. Their residential kWh rate has increased 26 percent since 2010 when “the new local utility company in Pueblo replaced nearly all its inherited cheap coal capacity with wind and natural gas.” Residential customers, with a poverty rate of 18.1 percent and one third of the population on welfare, had to pay for the large infrastructure bills when the switch was made. Wind turbines were added in order to meet the state’s Clean Air-Clean Jobs Act requirement of 30 percent capacity coming from renewable resources. http://instituteforenergyresearch.org/analysis/energy-poverty-coming-america-coal-shuttered-green-power/

At CPAC 2015, during a panel discussion on climate change and global warming alarmism, Gary Broadbent, representing Murray Energy Corporation, the largest privately held coal mine in the U.S., highlighted Obama’s “war on coal” via regulations passed by EPA alone in the last five years totaling 25,000 pages.  Quoting Robert E. Murray, Chairman of Murray Energy Corporation, Broadband said, “Prior to the election of President Obama, coal provided 52% of the electricity generation in our country. Today it is 37%. In our judgement, it will further decline to about 30%, at a maximum.”

Enumerating the 411 power plants designated for closure through 2016, “101,000 megawatts of the lowest cost electricity in America,” CEO Murray wrote that electricity, generated by coal at the plant cost of 4 cents per kWh, will be replaced by “Mr. Obama and his appointees” with 15 cent per kWh electricity from natural gas and 22 cent per kWh electricity from wind and solar power, not to mention the huge subsidies to solar power from American taxpayers.

In CEO Murray’s opinion, the Obama Administration has bypassed illegally Congress, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and the States and their Public Utility Commissions, which are “empowered to regulate the availability and cost of electricity.”

According to Chairman Murray, while we came within 700 megawatts of reducing loads to 61 million Americans in 13 states during the Polar Vortex of 2014, “China has been building a new 500 megawatt coal-fired plant every week for years, [and] burned about 4.0 billion tons of coal last year.”

Climate Change Causes Everything So Let's Fundamentally Change Our Economy

Photo: Ileana Johnson 2014
As the global warming alarmists tell us that the science is settled, there is no debate, and government bureaucrats are going full-speed ahead with taxation plans that will further weaken our already suffering economy, honest and wise politicians like Delegate Scott Lingamfelter of Virginia ask, “let’s see the physical science, not the political science before we strap Americans with huge taxes as the Obama Administration wants to do.” We should not formulate public policy such as carbon tax when the real science is constantly changing.

Hurricane Central has reported that “The 2014 hurricane season has fallen into a slumber heading into the final days of the season’s peak month.” http://www.weather.com/news/weather-hurricanes/atlantic-hurricane-season-2014-update-quite-20140922
However, we don’t want to mix catastrophic weather events with climate as the global warming alarmists do. We could have a late arrival hurricane like Sandy.
The planet’s climate has been changing for millions of years yet, if you ask a climate change alarmist, they are unable to tell you what the appropriate temperature of the planet should be or what it was 200 years ago. As it stands, the earth has been in a cooling period for the last 18 years. It explains why the enviro-globalists have changed the name of their taxation and control agenda from global warming to climate change.
Scientists are constantly revealing the negative and dirty cost of clean energy promoted by enviro-bureaucrats; renewables like wind, solar, and biofuels have negative effects on humans and animals who happen to exist in the vicinity of such sources or depend on food produced from corn.
The Smart Meters controversy is finally reaching a fever pitch with the battle moving into the mainstream. Consumer advocate Ralph Nader called smart meters a “step toward technological despotism. http://www.takebackyourpower.net/news/2014/10/02/ralph-nader-smart-meters-a-step-toward-technological-despotism/
The Wall Street Journal stated that “one in 10 cell/grid towers violate FCC’s safety guidelines.”  According to the FCC,  radio frequency radiation is a serious problem since at very high levels, “RF can cook human tissue, causing cataracts and temporary sterility and other health issues.” http://online.wsj.com/articles/cellphone-boom-spurs-antenna-safety-worries-1412293055
The FCC set two limits “to buffer people from these ’thermal’ effects, limits on how much radiation frequency people can absorb—one for the public, and one “occupational” limit five times higher for people who are trained to work near antennas. “ Perhaps their skin cooks five times slower? “A German study in 2013 found higher emissions from 4G antennas.” http://www.mcf.amta.org.au/newsletters/Mobile.InSite.May.2013?Article=39384
Cash-strapped families in Ireland had to pay water bills in excess of 240 euros a month thanks to smart water meters. http://www.irishmirror.ie/news/politics/outrage-revealed-politicians-wont-pay-4354752
Citizens who refuse smart meters for health reasons and privacy issues have to pay higher upfront fees and monthly reading fees that vary from state to state, anywhere from $35-$95 per month. Other customers are abused by a system that uses the police state to force citizens into compliance.
Customers who had their traditional meters replaced by smart meters are now paying much higher electric bills although their consumption has not changed. Some customers lost their homes to smart meters that caught fire or exploded.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Malia “Kim” Bendis of Naperville, Illinois, after being arrested on January 13, 2013 for filming the installation of a smart meter at Jennifer Stahl’s home, was recently acquitted of the charge of “misdemeanor of resisting or obstructing a peace officer.”  http://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/naperville-lisle/chi-jury-gets-naperville-smart-meter-case-20141001-story.html
While we are trying to be conscientious protectors of the environment and want clean air and water, we are not interested in destroying our economies and our way of life for the unfounded fears and exaggerations of those who stand to gain from their draconian environmental agenda.
The World Council for Nature’s mission statement explains, “But our interest in the conservation of nature does not mean that we forget about people: we shall also defend human populations against aggressions that have the same origin.” http://wcfn.org/
Mark Duchamp, President of WCN, fights in particular against the health damage that wind turbines and solar plants cause animals and humans. In his October 6, 2014 press release, Duchamp stated that “health authorities refuse to measure accurately infrasound and low-frequency noise emitted by wind turbines; they are obviously protecting the wind industry.”
Wind turbines blast nearby residents non-stop with low frequency sound (LFS). Lack of restful sleep causes exhaustion coupled by, according to testimony, a “deep, drumming, rumbling sensation in the skull behind my ears which is like pressure and often a pulsating, squeezing sensation at the base of my skull. I also experience irregular heartbeat while I am trying to sleep and while I am relaxing (sitting or reclining) in our house. I did not have any trouble sleeping before the turbines started operating.” http://waubrafoundation.org.au/resources/david-mortimers-statement-cherry-tree-hearing-at-vcat-jan-2013/
Mark Duchamp cites Dr. Marcus Drexel of the University of Munich whose study found that “low frequency sound can affect the active micromechanics in the human inner ear.” http://en.friends-against-wind.org/doc/140166.full.pdf
As much as 30 percent of the population is sensitive to LFS. Some individuals have persistent headaches, insomnia, and depression.  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2775222/Could-living-near-wind-farm-make-DEAF-Low-frequency-hum-damage-inner-ear-experts-warn.html#ixzz3FQeQO7B3
Mark Duchamp said that we live in “a world where the wind/climate coalition has successfully blocked official research on LFS emitted by wind turbines since the Kelley Studies in 1985-1987.”
It is hard to understand why governments subsidize and investors throw money into bigger and bigger wind farms and solar plants when the energy is unreliable, expensive, insufficient to satisfy our large economy, a health hazard to humans and to wildlife, and it requires the use of such vast swaths of land.
The thermal flux from the solar panels fries millions of birds in mid-air and even evaporates them completely. Birds mistaken the huge mirrors for water and dive to their deaths. The huge wind turbine blades chop up millions of birds and bats.
Dr. Klaus Kaiser described how Germany’s Bard 1 wind farm became finally operational in March 2014 following years of delay. After connecting to the grid and beginning to deliver energy, the AC-to-DC converter station experienced a “meltdown.” The replacement converter was shut down a few days later. http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/print-friendly/66002
The EPA is closing our coal power plants with their outrageous regulatory demands while China, India, France, and Hungary are building new power plants and nuclear ones. We are destroying our economy in order to satisfy the environmental lobby’s ever more onerous regulations to protect Mother Earth which is already pretty clean in the U.S., while other countries like China and India are polluting away.

Unintended Consequences of Renewable Energy?

The D.C. metro was plastered last month with ads by GoWithCanada.ca, promoting the proposed 1,179-mile Keystone XL Pipeline, a 36-inch-diameter crude oil pipeline originating in Hardisty, Alberta, and extending south to Steele City, Nebraska.  Described as “America’s best energy partner,” Canada provides United States refineries every day with 2.4 million barrels of crude oil, more than Saudi Arabia and Venezuela combined. The ads explained that “80% of Canada’s oil sands production capacity is owned by North American companies.”

The $5.4 billion project would allow oil producers more access to the large refining markets in the American Midwest and along the U.S. Gulf Coast, as well as energy independence from unstable Middle Eastern regimes.  There is one little problem, the current administration delayed the decision beyond the November 2014 election despite angry protests. “Senator Mark Warner cosponsored legislation supporting the Keystone XL Pipeline that would override President Obama’s continued delay.” info@energycitizens.org

Democrat Begich of Alaska said, “I am frankly appalled at the continued foot-dragging by this administration on the Keystone project.” The delay “means we’ll miss another construction season, and another opportunity to create thousands of jobs across the country.” Who needs jobs when we have generous welfare and unemployment, and the economy is rolling at a 0.1% growth and the Fed says the recovery is back on track?

Meanwhile most environmental groups are giddy that renewable energy will protect precious Mother Earth and are busy designing a Sustainable Future based on wind and solar energy. There are few universities left that do not offer either a bachelor’s or master of science degree in Sustainable Design, engineering, architecture, or Sustainability everything.

Not all environmentalists are happy. The “smarter fuel future” turned out not so wise after all – “the renewable fuel standard is broken.” The ethanol mandates, the hope and glory for “a cleaner, greener, smarter fuel future,” devolved into a nightmare of 5 million acres of “pristine lands” set aside for conservation (“more than Everglades, Yellowstone and Yosemite National Parks combined”) becoming “super-sized cornfields, making hunger and poverty worse, and putting your engine at risk.” The corn produced into biofuels in 2011 could have fed 570 million people. The proposed 15% ethanol mixture would definitely damage most engines. http://smarterfuelfuture.org/BrokenPromises#.U2Q-YkPGI6c.facebook

The much touted renewables of wind and solar have turned out to be money pits of bankrupt solar companies, expensive and much dirtier energy, millions of chopped and fried birds, including our country’s national symbol, the bald eagle. For the sake of environmentalist pipe dreams on a large scale, the government has now given permits to kill bald eagles in the industrial process of providing solar and wind energy.

Nothing is stopping the installation of smart meters that harm human health. It is more important for utilities to make a handsome profit at the expense of our health, privacy, and discomfort. Cycling our energy during peak consumption from a remote location will assure that we will have electricity, heat, clean water, and A/C only when Big Brother allows us to have it. Rolling brown-outs and black-outs are no longer a distant possibility. Keep in mind the blackness of satellite photos indicating North Korea at night.

Pepco Holdings, the 100 years old Washington-based utility, sold to the nuclear energy giant Exelon from Chicago for $6.8 billion, is advertising on radio how “power cycling” (read, turning your electricity off for hours in hottest days of summer and coldest days of winter) will make our energy more efficient. Does anyone believe that?

Another environmentalist dream, social engineering - population resettlements and relocation to high density mixed use areas into micro-apartments, a-podments, alley-pods, and stack-able apartments - continues unabated. The most recent development in New York City is sold as post-disaster housing/stackable container homes on a 40’X 100’ parking lot.
http://www.myfoxny.com/story/25350250/nyc-unveils-urban-post-disaster-housing#.U18fe1AMoos.facebook

To discourage driving and encourage bus and rail use, tolls for all interstate highways are now possible. “The Obama administration just lifted a long standing regulation that previously prohibited the creation of new toll plazas on the federal interstate highway system. While pre-existing tolls in states like New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia were grandfathered in, this change now opens the door for toll collection on the remainder of the 46,876 miles of interstate highway!” https://www.advocacytoaction.com/Campaign.aspx?ID=945

How will this affect Americans? You will likely be unable to operate a car because it will be too expensive to travel on roads that you are already subsidizing with tax dollars. Your mobility will be strongly curtailed in the name of reducing your carbon footprint while the hypocritical elites who shame you into driving tin cans, jet around the globe in personal planes, limousines, huge yachts, and live in huge mansions. The taxpayers will have to fork more money for gasoline, groceries, and other goods that are transported on all toll roads because 67 percent of our domestic goods are transported by eighteen wheelers.

In case you still doubt that UN Agenda 21 is real and consider it a conspiracy theory, my bestselling book, “U.N. Agenda 21: Environmental Piracy,” has plenty of links to help you elucidate the “mystery” hidden in plain sight and connect the dots. http://www.amazon.com/U-N-Agenda-21-Environmental-Piracy-ebook/dp/B009WC6JXO/ref=sr_1_1_title_1_kin/175-9774868-3929929?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1399129925&sr=1-1&keywords=UN+Agenda+21%3A+Environmental+Piracy
