“Governing Socialism” and State Power

Government is not a solution to our problem; government is the problem. – Ronald Reagan

The American socialist left has been planning behind closed doors for over a century to govern the United States. But the Constitution has been in the way. They could not seize the means of production and bring about the totalitarian state power governing everything by the rule of one Party. But they finally succeeded by attaining one most important element in this battle - electoral power and dominance by one Party, the Socialist Democrats of America.

As Bill Fletcher wrote, by seizing state power the left has created a “hegemonic bloc that moves us away from capitalism, instead of just changing who controls the institutions that keep it running. Winning state power involves the domination and, over time, deconstruction and replacement of capitalist institutions.”

Governing socialism is different from seizing state power. Leftists or progressives as they like to call themselves in the sea of deceptive euphemisms they have invented over decades of political correctness, a form of stifling freedom of speech, have been seizing more and more state power through political offices at all levels of government in a capitalist state, with capitalist money and support. As more socialists/Marxists win political office, they can achieve the societal transformation by which the capitalist state is replaced with the socialist state.

Since the 1970s, the public school system has been churning yearly millions of miseducated American youth who are taught to despise and even hate their own country, roots, and history, considering everybody who disagrees with their view of the world as inimical and stupid, including their own families.

The path to socialist power has been rather simple. Denigrate capitalism and everything America has achieved as being evil, racist, and dreadful and present socialism to the brainwashed masses as the solution for all the real and invented atrocities. In a simple way, cancel American culture and replace it with Cultural Marxism.

Expanding the socialist base to critical mass has been accelerated by a state-controlled lockdown from a viral flu outbreak misrepresented by a seriously flawed computer modeling from the U.K. – threaten citizens nationally and globally with a pandemic so horrific that people would die if they did not stay hidden in their own homes. People lost their jobs, livelihoods, faces, freedom of movement, assembly, schooling, and identities to a mandatory mask, making everyone equal in their misery and fright. People’s lives and behaviors as human beings have been forever changed.

Lock down the economy through unconstitutional mandates, bankrupt thousands of small and mid-size businesses, maintain and enrich a few oligarchs dedicated to the socialist cause, and make millions of Americans unemployed and dependent on government for their survival, and you have almost overnight equality in unemployment, dependence, and poverty.

Techniques such as online organizing which Organizing for America (OFA) perfected, resurrecting the dead to vote, the “undocumented” border jumper vote, unsolicited mail-in ballots, shutting down vote counting for hours during election, ballots brought in the middle of the night, and fraudulent electronic voting in key states, has entrenched the power of the progressive and anti-American forces who are now controlling the country with Socialist Democrats securely at the helm with a president suffering of second stage dementia.

Censoring conservatives by technocrats, constant disinformation by the media, censoring the president of the United States and all those who worked with him by tech giants who now control speech, has put the final nail in the coffin of capitalism and allowed the so-called socialist Democrats to gain political power at all levels of society in the misguided effort to destroy the economy and install a new socialist society.

Will the forces of capitalism just give up because the leftists politicians are now controlling everything? Can the Socialist Democrats convince a critical mass of Americans that capitalism is toxic while enjoying its luxuries, and must be destroyed and replaced by the socialism that promises everything for free?

I personally doubt it, as I have experienced how incompetent the socialist republic I grew up in was run by the one-party state, the Communist Party. The economy was terrible, these apparatchiks were better at spouting socialist drivel than governing, everything had to be rationed, it was made of poor quality, and everyone was equally miserable and poor.

Gone was the abundant economy under the monarchy. When the Bolsheviks came in and the Soviet Army invaded the country, people were forced to accept the Marxist ideology and their ridiculous Five-Year plans that managed to drive everyone into abject poverty after peoples’ wealth, land, and private property were confiscated for the “collective good.”

George Orwell wrote in his 1984 book that “ignorance is strength.” He said that the basic structure of society has not changed throughout the ages. There were always “three kinds of people in the world, the High, the Middle, and the Low… the same pattern has always reasserted itself, jut as the gyroscope will always return to equilibrium, however far it is pushed one way or the other.”

The High want to remain in power. The Middle want to change places with the High. “The aim of the Low, when they have an aim, … is to abolish all distinctions and create a society in which all men shall be equal.”

Orwell continues, “Of the three groups, only the Low are never even temporarily successful in achieving their aims.  They have only managed to change “the name of their masters.”

So, for the time being, the voters were convinced by hook and by crook that their new masters, the Socialist Democrats of America, are a force for good, have seized power and governing in a socialist way to provide freebies that nobody must work for because they are entitled to such benefits. If Americans believe this huge distortion of reality, socialism will reign.

The wise British PM Margaret Thatcher said once, “The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people’s money.” Sadly, many Americans no longer read to learn the truth from real history.

Since many Americans do not understand basic economics and that the state does not have any money, it is the taxpayers’ money distributed in welfare or stimulus checks, they give you back your own money, it is highly unlikely that they will understand that socialism can just as easily take away as they give away and install rationing and poverty like in Venezuela.

Grossly misguided Americans who have been brainwashed in schools and taught manufactured history by Howard Zinn (exceedingly popular “history” book written from his socialist perspective), raise their clenched fists in a cry of “power to the people.” What they do not really realize is that socialism does not mean “power to the people,” it is “power over the people,” and “power to the state.”

 

Society Never Condemned the Crimes of Communism in a Public Forum

I never forget that millions of victims of communism, including my Dad, died fighting tyranny born by a utopian philosophy. They all clashed with the communist party’s Marxist ideology when they opposed the confiscation of their homes, land, guns, and personal property. They objected to the lack of food, heat, water, proper medical care, medications, human rights, personal freedom, and a decent treatment as human beings.

When Margaret Thatcher once said, “The problem with socialism is that, at some point, you run out of other people’s money,” she was referring to the deliberate attempt by a centralized socialist government to confiscate by various means wealth they viewed as unfairly earned at the expense of the oppressed masses.

Marx said, himself the original hippie who never worked and was supported by rich patrons such as Friedrich Engels (he would have made a perfect Socialist Democrat politician in office today), the proletariat does all the work, it is only fitting that the rich share their “ill-gotten wealth.”

You’ve heard the phrase, “the rich must pay their fair share” repeated at nauseam by socialists like Bernie Sanders who has now become a millionaire in the capitalist society he despises while preaching to his followers a return to a simple life in order to save the planet from Armageddon.

What wealth did we equally “share” under socialism/communism?  The wealth confiscated and stolen by force by communist party apparatchiks after throwing in jail dissenting citizens for being “bourgeois.”

Speaking of the equality the social justice warriors demand through their pink loudspeakers while blocking busy intersections for those citizens who actually work for a living - we had equal misery, equal suffering, equal mistreatment, equal poverty, constant shortages of food, rationing of necessities, water, energy, heat, and rationing of medical care.

I don’t expect the social justice “warriors” to understand what it’s like to have a full-time job in which one produces something useful since they work as angry-for-hire agitators while living in mom and dad’s basement.

Classical socialists believed that socialism was an imperfect stage before communism – the means of production were owned by the state and workers were paid hourly for their work. As the communist motto said, “They pretended to pay us, and we pretended to work.”

I agree with Winston Churchill’s famous assessment, “Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.”

The failed experiment with socialism/communism at Jamestown, Virginia (1620), taught us that when people worked the land together, some were lazy and did much less work, while others, who worked harder, resented the slackers. The whole commune nearly starved to death before they returned to prior individual division of land after which the settlement thrived again.

Communism was supposed to abolish classes and the workers would have been paid for their needs not for the work they performed – “from each according to his ability, to each according to their need.” But who decided the need and the level of pay? Who received the higher pay? The answer is simple, the communist party elites and their loyal lackeys.

Sadly, today in America, we have built a permanent underclass that relies on welfare, being paid not to work, according to their needs determined by government bureaucratic charts developed to give dependence to the populace and enough to survive on. Thirty-five states pay more welfare per hour than a person earns working thus destroying the incentive to work. These are the low information voters, including illegal aliens, who are voting for communist living.

The supposed “classless” communist society did have two classes, the proletariat who called each other “comrades in chains” and the ruling elites. The controlling elites shared and used all the wealth as they pleased, according to their greedy wants.

Marxism has not worked and will never work because greed and jealousy are part of the human psyche. Not everyone is so altruistic that they are willing to work extremely hard for the good of everyone, knowing that those in power get their lion’s share of the divided pie.

Capitalism works because of self-interest. One individual’s hard work to achieve self-interest enables Adam Smith’s “invisible hand” to float everyone else’s boat. Marx himself said, “Capitalism is the most powerful mode of production available.” Waiting on the dole and the spreading of wealth is the death of initiative, self-respect, dignity, honor in a good day’s work, the pursuit of happiness, and the desire to improve one’s standing in society.

Self-interest also breeds charity. Communist elites were never charitable except to themselves. People living under communism were not charitable to strangers. They performed volunteer activities involuntarily under the forced direction of communist rulers. Everyone was spied on and watched by community organizers and snitches.

The proletariat hoarded food, enabled black markets, and engaged in bartering stolen goods or raw materials from work in order to survive. They even stole public items that were not fastened or nailed down if they could be sold for recycling.

Private property was forbidden because it created “unfair” competition. Anyone caught by the Economic Police with extra goods and belongings was sentenced to jail. But the ruling elite and their lackeys could own as much private property as they wished or as they could steal from the hapless proletariat and from the common means of production.

In the communist “utopia” I experienced, the proletariat was given free healthcare and free education heavily infused with communist indoctrination. The children of elites were chosen first for college education.

Health care was so dismal and pathetic, human life had no value. People were killed by malpractice in simple procedures; no accountability existed since everyone earned meager wages and worked for the omnipotent government that could not be sued. Doctors, nurses, teachers, and engineers were told where to live, where to practice their trade, and how much they could earn. People were forced to do everything in a communist society against their will.

Modern “socialists” in Europe run bankrupt welfare states with a nanny mentality of cradle to grave entitlements but with a substantial and large tax base collected from citizens and from large corporations to pay for it all. There is no such thing as a free meal, someone must pay for it, and it comes with strings attached.

Exceptionalism is punished, “global citizens” are shaped by socialist schools, and “group think” is rewarded. But most inventions of the modern world were the result of individual creativity and exceptional talent of one individual not of groups “brainstorming.”

Communist China did not start to make economic progress until the centralized communist bureaucracy lessened its iron grip on the population and allowed individual creativity and entrepreneurship to thrive. But now they control and “reward” citizens with social scoring for their good communist behavior. If they fail to measure up, they are denied traveling by plane, for example.

The U.S. has experienced the “Creeping Socialism” that Ronald Reagan and Friedrich von Hayek warned us about: government takeover of Chrysler, GM, student loan programs, banking and financial institutions, Obamacare, control of Internet, FCC radio programming content, attacks on Christianity, censorship on social media like Facebook, YouTube, Tweeter, and attacks on conservative speech and values.

Socialists hide behind political speech, clever euphemisms, rhetoric, deception, manipulation, lies, propaganda, class and racial division. Accusations of hate speech, bigotry, racism, homophobia, islamophobia are intended to stifle free speech.

Communist terms I left behind decades ago are now part of everyday politics: social justice, economic justice, social engineering, community organizing, nationalization, social democracy, redistributive change, equitable society, open society, social change, working class, communitarian, redistributive change.

Communism never died; it has rebranded itself across the world. It is making a comeback in the U.S. thanks to the Democrat Party, Communist Party U.S.A., Socialist Party of America, teachers, college professors, unions, ignorant Americans on welfare, Occupy Wall Street movement, ANTIFA, Black Lives Matter, main stream media, and United Nations Agenda 21/2030, the design of global communism.

Norman Matoon Thomas (1884–1968), a leading American socialist and six-time presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America, explained best the status of socialism in the U.S.

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day American will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” He continued, “I no longer need to run as a presidential candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democrat Party has adopted our platform.” It appears that they have reached that goal. Numerous members of Congress have openly declared their affiliation with the Socialist Party and the Communist Party USA.

We are governed by progressives disguised as public servants, our minds are molded by academia, priests and preachers, and main stream media socialists, our tastes are formed by communism-loving Hollywood, our ideas suggested by communists, and by men we have never heard of like George Bernard Shaw, a Fabian socialist and eugenicist, and by John Dewey, the most influential American Marxist and progressive  theorist of education and founder of our current public school teaching practice and ideology.

America is under siege, in a state of propaganda encouraging brainwashing of the population to support a socialist state. We are following in the failed multiculturalist footsteps of Europe, overrun by illegal aliens who demand amnesty, with no intention of assimilating. America is in no social and economic position to absorb so many millions without its self-destruction as a nation. We are being colonized from within by the socialist/communist tyranny of the oppressed.

We will lose private property, all accumulated wealth, the right to inheritance, the right to bear arms, and we will get in return centralized everything (transportation, communication, credit, means of production, technology), free education, equitable distribution of population density across permitted areas, and equal wages.

If we wonder why the sudden desire of young people to become socialists, look no further than your child’s teachers and history textbooks that glorify socialism/communism to impressionable students.

The Marxists, Bolsheviks, Leninists, Stalinists, Maoists, Castroists, Che Guevara worshippers, Pol Pot supporters, and other fellow travelers who have murdered 100 million people collectively in the name of communism since 1917, were never tried in a public setting like the Nuremberg trial for the Nazis which condemned National Socialism and its leaders. Communism was never really condemned in such a public forum. For this reason, young people believe that it was a benign part of world history that must be repeated by the right people who are smarter than the communist predecessors.

Socialist Democrats and their Illegal Alien Brethren

On a print from 1886 of the Statue of Liberty someone wrote, “There is room in America and brotherhood for all who will support our institutions and aid in our development. But those who come to disturb our peace and dethrone our laws are aliens and enemies forever.”

Times have changed fundamentally since 1886. Liberty is comatose and may never come out of its induced final slumber. Liberal Americans and the socialist Democrats of today are fighting the rest of the country to remove our borders, to disarm law enforcement, to pay for illegal aliens’ free healthcare, education, housing, voting rights, and every other benefit American citizens have.

Millennials devoid of common sense and their radical socialist representatives like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) are openly calling for transforming our country into a Venezuela. It seems surreal that American citizens would want to live in the Twilight Zone of globalism or in a bad zombie apocalypse movie they so enjoy.

Of course socialist Democrats want open borders; millions of new illegal alien voters will help garner more representatives in the U.S. House and thus control it in perpetuity, with no Republican opposition, a type of California populated by 435 individuals who pretend to serve “we the people,” while silencing 52% of the U.S. population.

According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), the federal government expenditures on illegal aliens is almost $46 billion a year, the state and local governments spend approximately $89 billion a year, for a total of roughly $135 billion annually. Illegal aliens pay $15.5 billion in federal taxes, $3.5 billion in state and local taxes, totaling $19 billion.  FAIR estimates that the total economic impact of illegal immigration is a burden of $116 billion annually, money that should be spent on veterans and American low income families.

A one-time cost of $5 billion to build the southern border wall is a small sum when compared with such a huge yearly expense to maintain and provide for illegal aliens. President Reagan had promised this wall when he amnestied 3 million illegal aliens in 1986. Recently, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) made some bizarre statements on MSNBC. “Every day immigrants commit crimes at a far lower rate than everyday Americans” and illegals on the border “are acting more American than any person who seeks to keep them out will ever be.”

The fact that we need a border wall is most vividly described by Americans who live in the vicinity of the border with Mexico.  A resident of El Indio, Texas, living half a mile from the border wrote about “15 men who pulled a gun on my husband and had a 13 year-old Mexican girl they had kidnapped from Guerrerro. She had blood all over her and had urinated on herself. My husband was able to, with the help of the Border Patrol agents in a helicopter who passed over, get the gun from the Honduran man; they rushed the poor girl to the emergency room for help – she had been in fact kidnapped and gang raped by these men. We are kind people and believe in helping others in need but there have been three attacks on my husband on our ranch in the last three months.”

Schumer and Pelosi talk about “Trump’s manufactured drama with the border.” Adding more security at the border crossing will not help because illegals “are not coming through the borders, they are coming through mesquite and brush,” she added.

A wall will stop most illegal crossers even though some may dig under or escalate it. The Border Patrol needs help, the American ranchers need help, and Americans must feel safe in their own sovereign country.

If walls are “not effective and are socially unjust,” as the Democrats claim, why are rich people and most of Washington, D.C., surrounded by protective walls and barriers? If walls are not effective, why are there walls around prisons? Why do we have billions of dollars of privacy and noise cancelation walls around neighborhoods close to the highway?

There is a limit how many illegal invaders a country can absorb before it is no longer a nation but a socialist hellhole where the invaders vote for their free fair share of our confiscated stuff. As the progressive Mayor De Blasio said in his State of the City address, “Brothers and sisters, there’s plenty of money in the world. There’s plenty of money in this city. Liberals have asked me why a foreigner like me is against immigration. Illegal aliens are “undocumented Americans” but I, a legal American, am still a “foreigner.”

One problem with that question is that I am a naturalized American who assimilated into this country and learned the language which is something illegal aliens are not likely to do as they reject our language and our culture vehemently, they only want our welfare. They know very little about our country’s history and civics, vote illegally, and thus negatively affect the transformation of our nation into the third world corrupt dictatorship they’ve fled. 

These illegal economic migrants are illiterate, can’t read or write in their own dialects, and are therefore no asset to America, they are not making it better with their presence; they are a drag on society. They depress wages and it costs our society too much money to care for them from cradle to grave. Once here, the chain migration explodes, each new addition becomes a ward of the state and of the taxpayers who must work more in order to pay for them. It is in essence a form of slavery for the American people to support illegals who never assimilate.

The second problem with that question is that I am not against immigration; this country is a melting pot of legal immigrants from all over the world who helped make this country great. Illegal immigration is breaking the law.

Millions of legal immigrants have waited patiently in quarantine at Ellis Island before they were admitted to this country. Being healthy and willing to contribute without the benefit of generous welfare was important for the health of the nation. But now liberals have decided that unvetted, criminal, dangerous, and sick individuals from around the world should come freely into our country infecting our children in schools and the population at large with diseases that had been previously eradicated in this country.

Illegals who manage to get across the border, flood ERs when they get sick, using the system as their primary care doctor since doctors in private practice do not treat people without insurance. Fearing deportation, many with serious illnesses such as TB, do not seek continued treatment and develop drug resistant forms of TB. Their unvaccinated children infect American children in schools, sometimes with strange illnesses that have never been seen in this country but that are endemic in Central America.

By law, illegals must be treated for free and translators must be provided, while veterans beg VA hospitals for their proper and prompt treatment, including care for cancers developed while in service to our country. One case in point, Johnny, was sent back and forth to two VA hospitals, miles away from his rural home, never received proper treatment for his prostate cancer and, once it spread to the rest of his body, one VA hospital offered care, but it was too late. Johnny passed away a few months ago.

According to the Washington Times, at least 50 people who arrive at the southern border each day need urgent medical care, including those with cases of pneumonia, tuberculosis, flu, parasites, and even pregnant women close to giving birth. These people had left their homes sick in hopes that smuggling organizations will bring them in less than a week to our southern border, dropping them off in western Texas and New Mexico, in areas less affected by the flow of illegals pouring into the U.S.

I am against ILLEGAL immigration. There is nothing wrong with being called an “alien.” I was once a legal alien myself. But illegal aliens have become a protected class sent to the head of the line by progressivism and politicians in this country. Four million LEGAL aliens are awaiting patiently the dispensation of their legal immigration files at the end of the line because the lawmakers, the courts, governors, mayors, and cops in sanctuary cities and states refuse to enforce the immigration laws currently on the books.

President Trump is the solitary wall that is protecting this country in so many ways from a full-blown communist takeover. He has managed to slow down the tide but the march to Sharia Law continues with the election of two Muslim representatives who have made it clear already that they are not necessarily representing their American constituents but the interests of various foreign cultures, imaginary countries, and theocracies.
