America’s Sacred Freedom of Speech on Life Support

If you are a conservative, your sacred freedom of speech is on life support. The tech billionaires in control of various social platforms have become the Soviet-style post office headquarters.

My friend Dr. Mircea and I, when we lived for twenty years behind the Iron Curtain, had all our personal correspondence crudely opened, read, resealed, or confiscated by special KGB commissars, well trained to destroy freedom of speech and to silence any opposition to the communist regime.

When I discovered that, in addition to specific algorithms, Facebook used “fact checkers” hidden and disguised as “friends,” and when I found thousands of such fake friends hiding under variants of fact-checker, fact, factoids, and other spellings, I wrote an article about it describing who these “monitors” for hire were and their lowly $16 per hour pay. These “fact-checkers," who were not necessarily required to have a college education, used as sources of truth opinion articles written in various leftist newspapers and magazine and not scientific journals or scientific facts. Thus, I blocked thousands of such “friends."

The very same day that my article appeared at Canada Free Press, I was restricted for 30 days for a photographic meme which I posted four months before. I could not “go live” for 30 days. Never mind that I never go live at any time, so the punishment was ridiculous on its face. The photograph was an actual photo from WWII and the caption was apropos.

The fact that my account was restricted, and my freedom of speech curtailed on the very same day that my article criticizing Facebook “fact-checkers” appeared, proved my point.  I have never believed in coincidences and I am not about to become a believer now.

After blocking thousands of “fake friends” under Settings/Privacy/Blocking, and finding more and more word search combinations and spellings entered in the rubric Blocking (fakt, fakts, bot, bot check, bot checker, chequ, cheque, fakt-chequers, chequers, facktoid, factors, factoria, fabrica, fabric, fab, fabr), more fact-checkers were assigned to my account each day.

What exactly do I have to say that Facebook finds offensive, threatening, and so in violation of their liberal “community standards?” Is it the fact that I suffered under communism for 20 years, with millions of others, I escaped it, and tried my hardest to expose its tyranny? Is it the fact that the left is trying to install socialism/communism here in America and we, the survivors of such a tyrannical regime, are flies in the globalist ointment?

Is truth now relegated to only what the social media tech giants allow through their Marxist filters?

Must we be submissive to the chicom virus, to the Democrat Party, to the Marxist penetration of public education, social and fake media, and the D.C. swamp who are attempting to transform our shiny city on the hill into a tarnished, rusty urban war zone dominated by fear, corruption, and panic driven non-stop by the supine media and anti-police lawlessness?

How scared and faceless have Americans become if they wear masks for six months now, deep into the woods with few other humans around?

Today, like many other conservative Americans, I have been restricted again on Facebook because I dared to post a video of a nurse who gave testimony as to what happened at the Elmhurst Hospital in New York and how many patients died following placement on ventilators.

How exactly are we endangering anybody by posting a video that people can ignore or delete? And how can we be made responsible for its content when we share it? Since when is social media staffed by medical doctors who can verify that the statements on the video are dangerous and must be suppressed?

And where is my freedom of speech, social media? Are you a social platform protecting select or all individuals of your so-called “community,” or are you a publisher protecting/censoring content?

As my friend Dr. A. Mircea wrote, “For the past few months, my Facebook posting and comments have been severely censored, photos covered, erased, cancelled or outright blocked. Then, in the past few weeks, the censorship commissars informed me officially that my posts and attempts to “wake up America” will be reviewed, eliminated, or prevented from going public.” How is that for communist-style censorship coming from corporations?

America’s sacred freedom of speech is on life support and we must stand up to censors who want conservatives silenced.

Informers/Snitches Are Now Called Moderators

During the communist regimes, informers and snitches on the payroll of the Security Police collected evidence on their neighbors and the “lives of others” they were assigned specifically to follow and report on. They had to work hard for their pay. They worked long and tedious hours, had to file reports, and keep thick dossiers on their subjects. When the Iron Curtain communism went underground to regroup into the neo-Marxism/globalism of today, the archives were opened and citizens were able to petition to see their dossiers. Based on their visibility and place in society, some had entire volumes of data.

The informers/snitches provided data reports to the security police every week. In exchange for their service to the dear leader, they received extra food rations from the Communist Party grocery stores, were able to shop in their special department stores for household goods, appliances and clothing, and received special bonus vacations that nobody else could have, and other perks. People knew who the informers were and often times they were snitching on their own family members. They were hated by the proletariat and the intellectuals and despised by their own communist handlers who considered them scum.

The on-line snitches in the United States of America are called “moderators.” They put you in your place, warn you if you step out of line in your social media postings, and place you in FB jail repeatedly. If your facts are deemed false by the moderator, they provide as proof leftist newspaper propaganda and left-wing organizations that are hardly known as accurate sources of information.

These “moderators” are anonymous individuals, somewhere in cyberspace, unknown to you unless the right combination of search words under settings and blocking, helps materialize hundreds of ghost "friends" that you never knew nor accepted onto your FB page. They have cutesy call names and identities that are ghosted onto your account and keep you in line with the leftist propaganda.

The on-line “moderator” jobs are described as such:
"A community online moderator is someone who monitors Facebook posts, comments that are posted on blogs, message boards, websites, chat rooms, etc. Moderators will settle disputes, remove posts that are offensive or those that break forum rules and also put posts into their rightful categories."

Translating the description above, it is a form of censorship of your online activity to match the leftist agenda. Only the posts of conservatives and libertarians are censored/removed and their authors placed in FB "jail,” blocked, removed, de-monetized, shadow-banned, and their posts made invisible to the public.

The top 10 companies that hire "moderators" for on-line activity for allegedly $16/hour are:

-          Metaverse Mod Squad (their “moderators provide digital content, manage message board, child safety, and moderating the chat room”)
-          CrispThinking (hires “moderator to keep an eye on social media activity”)
-          ICUC (for Canada and U.S.A. only)
-          The Social Element
-          Yelp
-          BabyCenter (requires moderators with B.A. or B.S.)
-          JobVite
-          Khoros
-          Live World
-          Zynga (moderates forums for online gaming community)
https://www.dreamhomebasedwork.com/online-moderator-jobs/

The average FB users have hundreds of such snitches/fact checkers while some have thousands. Their names range from Hispanic, Asian, Chinese, Vietnamese, to Romanian, Arabic, and a lot of Americans.

Apparently, working as a snitch for a living is a highly stressful occupation. Some have “direct conversations or feel ganged up on by the users. [We call them “trolls.”] Mental and emotional stress is extremely common among online content moderators.”

Who knew that making a living following the online footprint of and censoring ordinary people who disagree with the leftist communist propaganda can be so stressful?

You Can’t Miss What You Don’t Have in the First Place

Growing up in the proletariat class of communism, we never had much time to ponder over our perennial hunger or our miserable state in life, we were too busy trying to find something to eat, most of the time standing in lines daily to fight over the supply of food allotted that day by the benevolent socialist government run by the Communist Party.

Most of us were quite thin, malnourished, lacking vitamins and proper nutrition, but we were all in the same boat and we could do nothing about it as we had no arms to mount a rebellion to overthrow the Communist Party.

The communists and their sycophants ate well, lived well, and enjoyed all the luxuries they accumulated by stealing everything of value that the proletariat at large had owned prior to the Bolshevik revolution. Their bank accounts were full, they took nice vacations and often, and we watched with resentment from afar.

We did not have the opportunity to better ourselves, or to develop the inner talents we were born with. We were too busy following the Communist Party rules and absurd regulations, to make sure we did not violate any of them or else we were imprisoned or re-educated in Siberia.

Creativity and allowed speech had to follow strict Party guidelines or else be censored for violating communist community standards, not unlike the social media moguls’ dictates today. But instead of being in Facebook jail for 30 days, you would find yourself in real prisons and the jailers threw away the key until they saw fit to let you go. Nobody followed the law, the law was what various Communist Party apparatchiks decided on a whim.

Individuality was verboten and nobody developed new ideas, projects, research, and other technical gadgetry. Worthless group-think with strict guidelines that augmented the collective was allowed.

I saw through the windows of nice restaurants an abundance of food that was sorely missing in our government-run empty stores. These restaurants were off-limits for us as only the communist movers and shakers could afford such luxury. Mom was making 800 lei per month which, divided by the artificially pegged exchange rate of 12 lei to the dollar in 1980, it was about $67 a month from which we had to buy food, pay for water, electricity, rent, bus fares, and medicine. Dad was making slightly more, about 1,200 lei per month, a whopping sum of $100.

A fresh college graduate with an Economics degree earned the huge sum of 1880 lei per month, about $157 per month which allowed such a graduate to live a much better life if they could find food and lived together with their parents in a small 600 square feet concrete block apartment, standard government issue subsidized housing for all.

The proletariat knew they were missing a lot – they saw how rich Texans lived on the television series “Dallas” and their make-believe oil tycoon family. For some reason, the decadent capitalist show passed the censors. Perhaps they allowed the series on TV in order to show how evil capitalists were and that is why we lived so poorly, they were stealing it from us. At least that was the daily propaganda we heard on the two black and white television channels.

We were riveted weekly to another episode so that we could live vicariously and imagine what it would be like if we had their food, clothing, and the comforts of a real home instead of the drab match boxes we were stacked on 5-9 stories high after the wise Communist Party stole our private properties, homes, and land.

Before the show ended, I moved to the U.S. in 1978 and, as the next season of Dallas played on American television, my family back home was flooding me with questions about the show such as “who killed J.R. Ewing,” but most of all, did Americans live so well and did they have so much food?

I never thought personally that food would become an issue 42 years later in America due to a tyrannical government lockdown of the population under the guise of protecting them from a flu virus. The lockdown caught many people unaware who were buying food in smaller quantities and less frequently because many Americans ate in restaurants several times a week.

As an escapee from communism, the lockdown affected me much worse than it did many Americans around me. They were happy to hide behind masks, stay home, watch TV, get paid weekly for doing nothing, let government tell them what to do, where to go, how, and when. They were happy to comply. But to me, removing the choice of staying home or going out felt like the former communist life.

I went to restaurants just like my American brethren and now, the government closed them down and locked us in our homes with only permission to go to the grocery store and pharmacies. Suddenly, once the state government removed any opportunity to go to a restaurant, it felt much worse than when, under communism, we could not afford to go. I felt the tyranny on a much deeper level.

The entire communist country where I grew up was one big lockdown prison, with borders guarded with machine guns, heavily armed soldiers, and razor sharp barbed wire. But in the U.S., where radicals want to erase borders, we were bombarded by PSA propaganda, i.e., “we are in this together,” “alone together,” “you are not alone,” etc., all meant to increase and maintain population compliance. The country became one big masquerade ball with masks made of all sorts of materials including, as my friend Alexis joked, “Dr. Fauci’s underwear.”

I thought that this was a much more insidious form of tyranny. When it became evident that it was just a flu, the state and local government bureaucrats did not relent their socialist control of the populace and people continued to remain cowardly subdued, afraid of dying of the Covid-19 flu virus, while losing constitutional freedoms each day without as much as a whimper.

The moral of both experiences compared is that you can’t miss what you don’t have in the first place, but it sure feels much worse when you do have something and that something is taken away permanently.

Inconvenient Anti Socialism Video Banned by Social Media Censors

We are going to take care of all people who are NOT willing to work. – part of the Socialist Democrat platform in the United States of America

I have made peace with the fact that social media censors like Twitter and Facebook have shadow-banned me. Google has not allowed any advertising on my website.

What I found disturbing is that on the infamous phony impeachment day, Wednesday, December 18, 2019, my Facebook page censors removed content to an article that was inconvenient to the liberal false narrative that “socialism is great once we get to do it,” more specifically, the video (I’ve seen the breadlines of communism) in which Donald Jr. talks about his 93-year old maternal grandmother whom he visited every summer in the former Czechoslovakia.  https://cms.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2019/12/donald-trump-jr-video-ive-seen-bread-lines-frontpagemagcom

He talked about himself as a five-year old boy, dressed in a blue jean jacket with stars on it, experiencing fear for the first time, going through communist customs, being pulled out of the line at the airport, by a drab-uniformed soldier from the communist era, armed with an AK-47, asking him if he was there to preach capitalism and America. What could a five-year old boy possibly know about capitalism?

Donald Jr. told a crowd in a recent speech, “I’ve seen the breadlines of communism” while he visited his grandparents in the former Soviet satellite, Czechoslovakia.

I was unfortunate enough to have to stand in those breadlines under socialism imposed by the Communist Party. Imagine the disappointment and hunger, as a small child, having to stand in endless lines to buy bread and other necessities, and getting to the front of the line and the cashier telling me that the delivery for that day had been sold out.

My oldest child still remembers her visit to Romania as a 4 ½-year old in 1985. After a 23-hour flight and delays, we were finally at the airport in Bucharest, waiting in customs to have our passports checked out and validated, my child was tired, and she was rattling a metal fence with her foot. The burly armed soldier snarled at her with a thump of his weapon on the metal gate and told her to stop or he would arrest her. Arrest a little girl for being a tired and bored child?

A self-described “unlikely conservative, the son of a billionaire,” Donald Jr. told the audience that his conservatism was shaped by the experiences and events he had witnessed in the former Czechoslovakia, the country of his mother and grandparents’ birth. His mother “escaped communist Czechoslovakia.”

“The boats go only one way,” away from the oppressive communism. She, like many others who escaped communism around the world, saw and understood how lucky Americans were to live under freedom.

Having learned at an early age to speak Czech fluently, Donald Jr. was exposed by his grandfather to the reality of communism, of what it was like to live under the socialist/communist oppression in Czechoslovakia. He spent 4-6 weeks there every summer and the breadlines he saw “were not so glamorous. There is nothing glamorous about an empty supermarket and waiting for food,” he described.

Donald Jr. remembered seeing his parents’ wedding pictures in which his grandmother was missing because the socialist one party state ruled with an iron fist by the communist party kept tight control over the population by only allowing one person to travel abroad, keeping the other hostage in case the couple decided to defect. Some people defected anyway, leaving behind a spouse, a child, and other family members who were mistreated because their loved one chose to live in freedom and never returned to the prison state. He asks rhetorically, “What kind of system does not let you leave because they know, you ain’t coming back?”

My friend Flor defected 29 years ago and left her eight-year old son behind with his grandfather. She was eventually able to bring him to the United States after years of legal interventions and expenses. She cannot buy back the time she was separated from her child, but she is happy that he is here.

When Donald Jr.’s grandmother watches CNN there because “there is no alternative conservative viewpoint” in the former Soviet satellite, she tells him that you cannot let communism come to the U.S. A tough survivor, she hid from the Nazis in her basement, and spent 40 years under the communist party rule. “She gets it,” said Donald Jr. She is in tears from fear that her children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren could live under communism in America, the last bastion of freedom.

Donald Jr. made a very good final point that the Democrats have not been able to find one credible witness who would vouch for the utopian socialism they peddle to the American people and would be willing to say, “Let’s bring that crap here, it’s awesome!”

Divergent Opinions No Longer Polite Discourse

Polite debate is no longer the accepted norm in our society. The liberal left is not tolerating divergent opinions, they want them eliminated. Outrageous labels, personal threats, and even violence have escalated during what used to be polite discourse and disagreements of opinion.

We provide evidence that UN Agenda 21 does exist, yet we are “agenders.” We cite the document called Agenda 21, 40 chapters long, and the UN Agenda 21 Constitution called DICED, but that is too much evidence for the globalist crowd to digest. It is easier to attack the messenger.

We have sufficient scientific evidence that global warming is a hoax, it has been debunked many times, yet we are “climate deniers” and “flat-earthers.” We do not deny climate change and the earth is not flat.

Climate has changed constantly since recorded history and before, just ask the dinosaurs. We don’t think the much maligned CO2 is the culprit nor do we believe that we are dealing with a “man-made disaster.” We happen to believe that we are in a period of global cooling, as evidenced by lower overall global temperatures in the last 17 years as recorded by more than 30,000 temperature probes around the earth. Self-labeled progressives can’t let incontrovertible truth get in the way of power, money, and control.

Because we are fiscally conservative and believe in government accountability, we are “right wing nuts.”

Because we think that government control and surveillance violate our Constitutional rights and have gotten out of control, we are “tin foil hatters” and “conspiracy theorists.”

Since we believe that we have been taxed enough and we take to the streets to peacefully protest the excessive taxation which supports permanent welfare recipients and illegal aliens, we are “tea baggers,” a derogatory term which has nothing to do with our belief in moderate taxation or with the fact that 49 percent of Americans pay no income tax.

When we stress and argue that politicians have become Machiavellian opportunists who push amnesty for 11 million illegal aliens who have broken our laws, yet lawmakers think it must be done right away so corporations can hire cheap labor, Democrats gain new voters, and the church new converts, we are “racists” and “xenophobes.”

If we don’t believe Obamacare is the magical solution to health insurance problems, and we see clearly a disaster in the making that will ultimately change our stellar healthcare system into “Castro care,” we are “hate mongers” who don’t want other people to have health care.

If we don’t believe that Sharia Law can “coexist” with our Constitution and our legal system based on Roman law, we are “islamophobes.”

If a white person admits using racially insensitive and insulting words thirty years ago, his/her career is over and they are crucified by the MSM and big business. They become instant “pariahs” or at best “persona-non-grata.” When a black person uses the same racially charged epithets, whether addressed to a white or to a black person, it becomes career enhancement. We even throw in extra accolades and prizes for their role in the moral and verbal degradation of our youth.

If we teach our children how to hunt and kill animals to feed a family, not for sport, we are rednecks “clinging to our guns.” Yet nobody bats an eye when millions of babies are aborted and killed each year, even when born alive, it is a liberal “choice.” I sure am glad my mother did not consider my life in her womb a “choice.”

If we pray, believe in God, and attend church regularly, “we cling to our Bibles” and our religion. Belief in Mother Earth, Gaia, is highly praised, recommended, and indoctrinated in schools and by the PC police. Accommodations are made for other religions, but our soldiers cannot carry a Bible for comfort.

If we believe in traditional family and marriage defined as the union between a man and a woman, we are “homophobes.” We thus need re-educating. We must be bombarded with everything homosexual, LBGT parades, parties, Hollywood movies, sitcoms, Broadway productions, training at work to become more sensitive, classes for children on homosexual love, and workshops on how to cater to a small minority so that everybody really understands what they do behind closed doors.

When we engage in political discourse and our liberal opponents have lost the argument, they turn to anger, shouting, and hurling personally insulting epithets. When the disagreements happen to be outdoors, fights ensue which often do not end well for non-liberals. At best, cars with conservative bumper stickers are keyed from end to end. At worst, windows are smashed, owners are ruffed up, escaping with black eyes and bruised limbs, but alive.

Civility has been replaced by class warfare stoked by politicians and race-baters who make a lucrative living at keeping class division alive and the concept of “black slavery” current as if we owe perennial reparations for what has been done in the past. During history, many groups, black and white, have been abused and enslaved – perhaps we should all ask for reparations and special treatment to atone for past wrong-doings. Slavery is still practiced in some Muslim countries today yet liberals are mum about it. Progressives have yet to “free Tibet,” “coexist” with people who think and live differently, and address the genocide of non-Muslims in Darfur and the killings of Coptic Christians in Egypt.

When we disagree with the liberal/progressive ideals, we are ridiculed by the Political Correctness police, we are attacked, banned, boycotted, fired, and discredited professionally. If we dare to criticize, we are accused of “hate speech” no matter what the topic. How long before we are fined, re-educated, and/or jailed for our diverging views and opinions? Isn’t political correctness the stifling of free speech and coercive censorship?

SEIU.org Cries Censorship Wolf

The Service Employees International Union, the Children’s Television Workshop (CTW), under the umbrella of SEIU.org have sent a letter on June 17, 2013, to their like-minded contributors who fund Democrat campaigns and socialist causes and organizations around the country.

The letter claims that PBS, the bastion of liberalism, has gone too far in their censorship of the film, “Citizen Koch,” a take on the much maligned conservative David Koch. Calling him the “Tea Party billionaire,” as if the Tea Party was a dirty word, the letter is asking supporters to sign a petition to PBS to air “Citizen Koch.”

It is apparently fine to silence the conservative opposition, using any methods possible, as long as the liberal end justifies the means. Compromising the integrity of public broadcasting should not be allowed, the letter says, unless of course, socialists are doing it.

Never mind that the MSM, including PBS, control what information is disseminated and the talking points of the current administration, and they have compromised the integrity of any broadcasting, including the taxpayer-funded PBS, long time ago.

MSM comrades have become a propaganda machine for the utopian virtues of socialism. Conservatives must read the press in the UK in order to find out what is going on in our own country. People turn to the Internet and real citizen-journalists who report the news accurately.

The SEIU letter states, “We believe that in a free society, our press and broadcasters should be strong and unafraid to challenge the powerful.” Most Americans believed so as well until the powerful IRS audited them or turned down their tax-exempt status requests based on their conservative, libertarian, or independent politics.

It is all right for SEIU to influence elections and to donate millions to candidates and organizations that promote liberalism. SEIU.org apparently does not think that Mr. Koch has the right to be a trustee and donor to PBS. SEIU.org also has a problem with Mr. Koch’s $23 million donation, yet hundreds of millions in donations from Big Labor and other socialist groups have been suppressing conservative writing and broadcasting with a vengeance.

“This is especially urgent because right now the Koch brothers are interested in taking over ten newspapers owned by the Tribune Company, including the Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune. If Koch dollars could influence PBS as much as they did, imagine how much damage they'll do to our daily papers.” I think those newspapers have damaged themselves. Nobody is interested in reading manufactured news and misrepresented data, the readership has dropped to record lows. Americans are starved for truth, accountability, and justice.

Signing the letter in typical communist fashion, “in solidarity,” the writer concludes, “PBS went too far. Tell them to stop the self-censorship and air the documentary Citizen Koch.”

SEIU.org is distressed that “public television pulled funding for Citizen Koch,” a documentary “on the restricting and destructive role of money in politics,” allegedly produced by “Academy Award-nominated filmmakers.” If the documentary is so worthy of watching and so groundbreaking, why don’t they raise private money and venues? That is how free competition works.

I have met David Koch – he is patriotic and cares deeply about our country, truth, and the preservation of our Constitution. I have seen him personally attacked and intimidated by Big Labor goons when he tried to attend a convention in D.C., exercising his freedom of speech and assembly. The police did not do much to stop the menacing protesters who became violent.
