Dining on 14th Street in Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C. is a very strange city. We were on 14th street today, dining; there are many cafes and eateries frequented mostly by locals. The French restaurant we ate in was packed at 3 p.m. We were able to people-watch while we dined but the diversity of characters Democrats pride on was quite unsettling.

There was a "community day" one street over - no community I would ever want to be a part of;  the people milling at that event were young and old, dressed in 60s flower power outfits, with bongo drums, dreadlocks, and other bizarre outfits and hats.

Young women in the street were dressed in skimpy outfits like hookers; others wore rompers like toddlers, showing too much buttocks and most of their fake breasts. Some women were pretending to be clothed in dresses that were split to their private parts, or just-kidding skimpy skirts and tops showing their underwear and bras.

Metrosexual-looking men were wearing pants and shirts two sizes too small or wife-beater black shirts with strange-looking shorts that appeared to have been shrunk in the wash. Most of them were latching their bikes to poles in the street like the good environmental commies that they are.

There was a strong presence of millennials with their heavily tattooed and pierced bodies. When the occasional, normally dressed Americans strolled by with their children, you knew they were out-of-towners visiting the big metropolis.

At the other extreme were women clad in 7th century black tents, covered to their eyeballs, running in packs of four with one husband herding them ahead, lest they got lost.

These people are helping run our country? God have mercy on us!

What Are Leftist Women Lacking?

Aside from good morals, proper behavior, appropriate dress, and proper language around their children, what else are these leftist women lacking?  American women have more respect and freedoms than most women in the world.  But these marchers are unhinged, enraged, and deranged because their favorite Maoista lost the election. So they’ve turned our nation’s capital into a bizarre spectacle of hatred and petulant intolerance, verbally attacking the rest of the country who disagrees with them.

Did they march for women who are truly disrespected and treated like animals, beaten, abused, and traded as slaves in Islamic countries today? The answer is no.  The testimony of a woman in a court of law is worth only half of a man’s testimony.  Women are genitally mutilated in childhood and stoned to death for adultery. If they are raped, they can be sentenced to death while the rapist goes free.

According to the Daily Caller, “Linda Sarsour, one of the organizers behind Saturday’s Women March, being held in Washington, D.C., was recently spotted at a large Muslim convention in Chicago posing for pictures with an accused financier for Hamas, the terrorist group.” http://dailycaller.com/2017/01/21/womens-march-organizer-recently-met-ex-hamas-operative-has-family-ties-to-terror-group/

Active on Twitter, Sarsour supports Sharia Law across America.  “If you are still paying interest then Sharia Law hasn’t taken over America.” www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/01/figrues-organizer-dc-womens-march-linda-sarsour-pro-sharia-law-ties-hamas/

In other countries women cover themselves in huge black tents. They claim, it is their choice to dress this way, but if they don’t, they are beaten, stoned, beheaded, or hanged.  Apparently the libs, who marched through D.C. this Saturday, were more incensed about what President Trump might do to their freedom of choice.  What would they do, should he take the funding away from their favorite abortionist, Planned Parenthood?  After all, it is their right to kill their own babies but don’t you dare infringe on the spotted owl’s habitat.

The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, the heroine of many in Hollywood, established this organization on October 16, 1916, in order to eliminate what she thought were “inferior races.” She referred to them as “human weeds.” Sanger is the eugenicist that leftist women venerate, the promoter of "More children from the fit, less from the unfit."

The marchers were demanding equal pay, an economic impossibility. Have these irrational marchers ever sat in an economics class? Equality in pay is hindered by many factors having to do with our genetic makeup and our investment in human capital. Are you equally qualified? Do you have equal work experience? Are you equally educated? Are you equally professional? Are you equally dedicated? Are you equally gifted? Are you equally intelligent? Are you equally talented? And who gets to decide?

When it comes to military service and physical ability, no matter how many miles a female jogs every day or how much muscle bulking protein or steroids she takes, women are not physically equal to men.

Leftist women marched through D.C., proclaiming their tree-hugging support for the environment and their belief in man-made climate change, yet they left the streets heavily littered with garbage, to be cleaned up by sanitation workers at taxpayer expense.

One of my former students shared her hubby’s brilliant explanation of the mentality of these women who graduate with a high degree of Marxist indoctrination: “When you send your kids to Caesar every day for education, don’t be surprised when Romans come home.”

A very wise young woman said, “So, I guess because so many women showed ‘solidarity’ and marched, we should never see one injustice ever again. Our rights have been restored! Hooray! So glad those ridiculous vagina hats changed everyone’s minds and hearts about women.”

The pro-abortion women march excluded pro-life groups. One such pro-life organization, Students for Life of America, took the lead in the parade, and jumped in front of some of the protesters.

A meme recently seen on Facebook pretty much expressed what the rest of the country’s women think:

“I was part of the 30 million women march in November. We marched into voting booths across the country and elected Donald J. Trump as President of the United States of America.”

To answer my own question, these marchers lacked nothing; they were there to attack President Trump. They don’t accept him and are afraid that Roe v. Wade will be overturned during his administration and the funding of Planned Parenthood will be cut. They want the slaughter of innocent babies to continue in order to protect their vicious and ungodly “choice.”

The Prime Minister of Romania, Dacian Ciolos, following a visit to Washington, spoke at the Romanian Embassy to specially invited members of the influential Romanian community from the Washington area.

His excellence, George Cristian Maior, Romanian Ambassador to Washington, welcomed the Prime Minister, his cabinet, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and all invited guests.
The evening signaled the improved relations between the two countries in matters of security, defense, and economic cooperation. Ambassador Maior mentioned that meetings explored new ways to expand bi-lateral relations and partnerships between the two countries.

As former European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development (2010-2014), Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos mentioned that he had visited the United States before and has met with the Romanian diaspora. His heart swelled with pride hearing Romanian spoken thousands of miles away from home.
The objective of his visit was to confirm Romania’s interest in strengthening cooperation with the United States and the strategic partnership which has already delivered results in terms of security and defense.

The Deveselu base in southern Romania inaugurated recently the operation of the anti-rocket shield SM-3. Prime Minister Ciolos described it as an important development not just for Romania and the U.S. but for the defense of NATO in the region.  “We are ahead of Poland which is just now beginning the installation of another element of this shield.”

“We can say that we have become providers of security with United States’ help. This project shows, in my opinion, that, in a process of cooperation, we can take a project to completion with great success.” Furthermore, this endeavor became a national mission based on the fact that all parties in Parliament approved of it and supported its implementation; it was a “national consensus.”

Because Romania had such success in security and defense partnerships, Ciolos stated that his visit to the United States aimed to develop economic partnerships equally successful. “The best way to keep peace and security is to stimulate prosperity, meaning, economic development and investment.” Ciolos added.

Romania’s economic growth has been consistently in the top among European nations. “But we must do more to translate this economic growth into economic development and cooperation and to better manage our national resources.”

There are American investments in Romania but the potential can be improved since United States is in 11th place as an investor. We have success stories such as the Ford venture in Craiova. Ford just announced an investment of 200 million euros. Ciolos met in Detroit with Mark Fields, the CEO of Ford.

Ciolos had promises from a group of businessmen from Detroit who will visit Romania in the fall to make investment decisions.

The Prime Minister met with Vice President Joe Biden and discussed aspect s of security and defense, energy and economic cooperation at the Black Sea.

Ciolos met with Penny Pritzker, the Secretary of Commerce, “who knows well the economic situation in Romania,” in order to facilitate the presence of American companies in Romania. “I informed her of the reforms that we are currently making in Romania in order to attract economic investments.”

“I also met with the Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack. The undersecretary of agriculture is going to visit Romania in a few weeks,” added Ciolos.

“I am going to meet the secretary of energy with whom I am going to discuss the potential of off-shore drilling at the Black Sea but also in land exploration. We also want to explore investment in technology and in research in energy. Romania can become an important player in the Black Sea area and the southeast of Europe.”

“I hope these meetings will begin a new trust in our partnership. We must continue to fight against corruption and improve the efficiency of public administration. My government will make some reforms that I hope will be continued by the following administrations.”

Prime Minister Ciolos concluded by explaining to those present how the Romanian diaspora can vote in Romanian elections and he urged them to do so.

National Security Action Summit

The Center for Security Policy, Breitbart News, and the EMPAct America hosted on September 29, 2014, The National Security Action Summit II. The Washington, D.C. Marriott Wardman Park Hotel venue headlined former Vice President Dick Cheney, Dinesh D’Souza, and Dr. Ben Carson.

LTC Allen West, Judge Jeanine Pirro, Rep. Jim Bridenstine (OK-1), and Andrew McCarthy spoke about the ever increasing threats to our national security made possible by the administration’s foreign and defense policies.

The threat of ISIS which has already landed on our American shores with the first beheading of an Oklahoma woman by a convert to Islam, our porous borders, lack of enforcement of immigration laws, lack vetting of illegal immigrants carrying various communicable diseases that have spread among the U.S. population at large and in our schools, and the insurmountable national debt are issues important to the American people.

Senator Ted Cruz, Vice President Dick Cheney, Rep. Louise Gohmert, Israeli Ambassador Ron Dermer, Rep. Michelle Bachmann, and Rep. Trent Franks addressed the audience in person or by video link.

The topics discussed included the worldwide threat and instability, the hollowing out of the U.S. military and its replacement with illegal aliens, the ideology and menace of the global jihad, Benghazi, the border insecurity, and the importance of Israel to American security interests.

Frank J. Gaffney, Jr., President of the Center for Security Policy said, “Americans are increasingly aware that the world is becoming an ever-more-dangerous place.  They expect their leaders to protect them and our vital interests around the world.  The National Security Action Summit is a place where the best minds convene to lay out the best ideas for doing that.”

Yet the biggest threat to our national security, the escalating and impossible-to-ever-repay national debt, was not part of the discussion.
