Global Warming Thy Name is a Manufactured Crisis
How
much veracity should you ascribe to global warming theories? Aside from the
fact that thousands of scientists across the globe have debunked global
warming, consider this – proponents of global warming manufacture or delete
data to fit their agenda. University of East Anglia admitted, after being
caught, to have deleted data that contradicted their “consensus” hoax. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/columnists/christopherbooker/6679082/Climate-change-this-is-the-worst-scientific-scandal-of-our-generation.html
“Food riots in a dozen regions of the world tell us that millions were flung into starvation and death by the doubling of world food prices that, according to the U.N., resulted directly from the biofuel scam that is one of many pernicious spin-offs from what professor Niklas Mörner has called “the greatest lie ever told” – the global warming scare.” (Lord Monckton)
At the same time, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Monsanto, the government of Norway, the Rockefeller Foundation, and Syngenta have built a “doomsday seed bank” inside an inaccessible Norwegian rock Svalbard on Spitsbergen Island, on the Barents Sea near the Arctic Ocean, 1,100 km from the North Pole. According to F. William Engdahl, who wrote in Global Research on May 1, 2013, the impenetrable fortress/vault was built “so that crop diversity can be conserved for the future.” Engdahl asks, “What future do the seed bank’s sponsors foresee, that would threaten the global availability of current seeds, almost all of which are already well protected in designated seed banks around the world?” http://www.globalresearch.ca/doomsday-seed-vault-in-the-arctic-2/23503
Global warming proponents benefit handsomely from their schemes, to the tune of billions of dollars. Some trade carbon swaps. Some write erroneous and deceptive Power Point presentations and receive the ultimate prize from European liberals. Others start electric car companies that go bankrupt before they even produce one car or because nobody really wants to buy electric cars that do not go very far on one charge. Others receive government grants and subsidies to provide and store solar power, some build solar panels, and others build electric car batteries. Many of them declare bankruptcy because, as the classic excuse goes, they cannot compete with China.
Heartland
Institute, one the most prominent scientific and research-based rational voices
against global warming alarmists sent out 100,000 copies of Steve Goreham’s
book, The Mad, Mad, Mad World of
Climatism.
Dr.
Craig Clements, Associate Professor in the Department of Meteorology and
Climate Science at San Jose State University and Dr. Alison Bridger, Chair, enlightened
and “tolerant” scholars that they are, decided to post a photograph of them, simulating
the burning of Goreham’s book that contradicts their dogma. Officials at San
Jose State University have since removed the offending photo and apologized for
the “ill-attempt at satire.”
As
Jim Lakely, President of The Heartland Institute, said, the environmentalist “progressive”
academics do not just ignore sound scientific evidence that contradicts global
warming alarmism, they dismiss any rational proof, refuse to debate, manufacture
data, ban any contradictory evidence, and even “committing crimes against The
Heartland Institute.” It is a childish and unscholarly behavior to even pretend
to burn evidence of opposing views. It is an unreasonable practice for scientists
not to consider opposing views because their unilateral decisions can fundamentally
affect the lives of billions and professors shape the minds of so many
students.
http://blog.heartland.org/2013/05/san-jose-state-professors-would-rather-burn-climate-skeptic-book-than-read-it/
Lord
Monckton aptly described the scientists who lack a moral compass as a danger to
society. Disinformation about an opponent’s reputation and about science “is
now encouraged as long as the inventions further the party line.”
“As
with medical science, so with climate science, we have made the dangerous
mistake of treating as a high priest anyone who wears a white coat.” A professor
or scientist who “knowingly manipulates data in a manner calculated to deceive
the scientific illiterates who now govern us” are committing a “grave wrong”
and should be made accountable for the damage they create.

Some
academics create a name for themselves and fortunes by making up studies and
conclusions to suit their communist ideology. Fraudulent studies harm humanity
in general, but particularly those to whom the study is applicable. Such was
Diederik Stapel, world renowned social psychologist from Netherlands and Tilburg
University’s Dean of the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences since 2010.
Stapel’s
star got brighter when he published a study in Science about an experiment at
the Utrecht train station which claimed that a trash-filled environment brought
out racist tendencies in humans. In another study published earlier, Stapel
claimed that eating meat made people selfish and less social. Yet a third study
claimed that association with the word capitalism
made people eat more M&Ms. Stapel threw the questionnaires in the trash bin
and ate the M&Ms himself.
These
studies never took place, every research project of the 55 he published, every
result, was a fraud. It was all his political views and agenda. And hundreds of
his students’ Ph.D. dissertations were based on his faked data. How many more
like this so-called scientists and academics exist in all universities around
the world? I have met some Stapel type individuals, the darlings of the
academia conference circuit, at universities here in the U.S. Nothing was
worthy of publication or modeling with students unless these darlings said so.

Liberalism is codified as science based on “consensus” of
like-minded ideologues. Once it is codified, there is no possibility for
disagreement. If you disagree with their manufactured “science,” you are a
tin-foil hat conspiracy theorist. This is the case with global warming on a
massive scale, falsifying or hiding data to achieve the results wanted to claim
vociferously and definitively man-made global warming.
If you are a global warming skeptic, that is too bad. OFA
will organize the masses to make sure the low-information voters will be
watching you. A letter sent to liberal supporters by Organizing for Action,
this administration’s team of community organizers, decried that “so many of
our elected officials in Washington who represent us are denying science and
using the denial to refuse to take action on climate change.”
According to Ivan Frishberg, House Speaker Boehner and
the chairman of the House Science Committee have no right to say that they do
not know “if the science behind climate change was real.” But, low information
voters, do not worry. “Each and every day that congressional leaders hold on to
their bizarre fantasy world, OFA is going to be there, not letting them get
away with it. Add your name and say you’re ready to hold climate deniers
accountable.”
How about holding global warming/climate change alarmists
accountable for their debunked, manufactured crises, faux data, and the
billions invested in global warming schemes? How about global warming scare
mongers indoctrinating children in schools at a very early age that man is
destroying the planet? Last time I checked, it has been quite cold in the last
few months and real scientists have proven the fact, not “consensus,” that
temperatures have dropped around the globe in the last 17 years.
Rachel Carson published in 1962 her book, Silent Spring, in which she claims that
there are no more singing birds because of DDT, a human carcinogen. Without any
scientific data to back up her claim, either in the number of birds or human
harm from cancer, her book ignited the environmental movement which eventually
led to the ban of DDT in 1972.
A real scientist, a physician, Dr. Rutledge Taylor, who
studied the tropical world, produced a documentary, “3 Billion and Counting,” painfully
depicting the human cost of banning DDT, a move that had “nothing to do with
science, just a power grab, and wealthy westerners should be ashamed.” As author
and medical doctor, Michael Crichton said, “That’s more people than Hitler and Stalin
together killed.”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0ZWdX6Z5T4
DDT had been a very effective fighter against malaria-causing
mosquitoes. Without the effectiveness of DDT, approximately three million
people across the globe die annually of malaria. India and sixteen other
countries still use DDT today and they have plenty of singing birds. The
liberal replacement solution for DDT? The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
provides millions of dollars-worth of mosquito nets to people in malaria-prone areas.
The PC police that stifles free speech ridicules anything
and anybody that contradicts their globalist agenda. The manufactured scientific
“consensus” is driving the anthropogenic (man-made) global warming and the idea
that humans are so powerful as to change the climate. In my book, U.N. Agenda 21: Environmental Piracy, p.
29, I explained DICED, U.N.’s Environmental Constitution for the World. http://www.amazon.com/U-N-Agenda-21-Environmental-ebook/dp/B009WC6JXO/ref=sr_1_1_title_1_kin?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1368117942&sr=1-1&keywords=UN.+Agenda+21+Environmental+Piracy
Only liberals are apparently smart enough to save us and
micro-manage carbon dioxide levels through punishing carbon taxes, carbon
swaps, and other schemes meant to enrich their pockets and to redistribute the
wealth of the middle class in the name of social/environmental justice.
The global warming alarmists have no credibility with
informed and rational Americans. “Climatism” has destroyed and redistributed a
lot of hard earned wealth and altered/destroyed the lives of billions unnecessarily.

Only in America, How Wise an Immigrant
As
a legal immigrant, I came to America because it was “the shiny city on the hill”
where everything was possible if you were willing to work hard because everyone
had the freedom and equal opportunity to succeed.
I
came to America because I wanted to pursue higher education, something that was
very limited under communism as the children of the communist party elite had
first choice at any college no matter how bad their grades were. I did not want
to wait until I was 60 years old and had the approval of the communist party to
pursue a doctoral degree.
I
came to America because I wanted a better life for myself and my children. I
did not want to toil day and night under the watchful eye of the totalitarian
government who decided how much our labor was worth and how much we were
allowed to eat, where to travel, or live.
We
knew there was a better place to live, a place called capitalism, a place
called America, where they had freedom of speech and assembly. I knew there was
a better life under capitalism where everybody had the opportunity to create
wealth if they “served their fellow man” with needed products and services. I
also knew that equal results were not guaranteed, only equal opportunity.
I
did not want to live any longer under the failed socialist economy and the
failed communist utopian ideology where wealth was stolen, property plundered,
and the workers, “lovingly” called the proletariat, were enslaved with the
false promise that the government will take care of them if they relinquished
their most cherished possession – their freedom.
I
wanted to own a home, no matter how small and I did not want it indebted to the
government. I wanted proper medical care and medicine when needed for which I
fully expected to pay. I did not feel entitled to anybody’s wealth that I had
nothing to do with creating.
I
wanted freedom to exercise my faith if I so chose and be able to own or read a
Bible. I wanted my children to learn historical truth, not revisionist
communist indoctrination. I also did not want to yield to other religions
imposed by the government whether be the worship of Gaia, atheism, environmentalism,
or Islam.
I
did not want free housing, free medical care, free child care, free cell
phones, free education, and I certainly did not want to be indebted for
generations to the federal government for my family’s well-being. I did not
want welfare and I expected to have as many children as I could afford to bring
into this world, raise, support financially, and educate without the
government’s interference. I certainly did not expect political correctness to
stifle my freedom of speech.
I
came to America to escape having to march in May 1 (May Day) forced parades paying
homage to the grand communist party. Yet now our President has proclaimed May
Day “Loyalty Day,” to “reaffirm our allegiance to the United States of America,
our Constitution, and our founding values.” Do we really need a loyalty day?
Are we not loyal to our country already?
I
must admit that I am a bit confused. Since the rest of the world celebrates May
Day as a communist day, does this mean that we are joining in with the commies,
or is it just an accidental and unfortunate coincidence that we celebrate
loyalty to the United States, fly our flag, and pledge allegiance to our
Republic on the same day? http://www.whitehouse.gove/briefing-room/presidential-actions/proclamations
Listening
to the Voice of America, the only radio of freedom news that we could covertly
listen to under the oppressive communist regime, we held in high esteem the 100
Senators from the magical and free land of milk and honey, the United
States. Unfortunately, living here as an
American citizen, I must admit that I am shocked and puzzled by the bizarre
behavior of some U.S. Senators and Representatives.
Take
for instance Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) who spoke on May Day in Chicago to a
rally of “nearly two thousand trade unionists, open communists, socialists,
anarchists and illegal aliens.” He spoke of May Day as “Law Day.” I must admit,
I have never heard of such celebration, “Law Day.”
Sen.
Durbin, quoted by Rebel Pundit, said that, because he believes in free speech
and the Constitution, he decided to come to “Law Day” rally attended by
individuals who promoted the goals of communism. It is hard to believe - I fled
communism 35 years ago and communism is following me to the United States,
promoted by a U.S. Senator who also thinks that illegal immigration, breaking
the laws of the country he swore to protect and defend, should be legalized
because, he said, “My fellow immigrants, this is a once in a lifetime chance to
get immigration reform.” I wonder from what country did Senator Durbin
immigrate illegally. http://www.breibart.com/Big-Government/2013/05/02/Exclusive-Senator-Durbin-Defends-Rallying-with-Communists-and-Anarchists
We
did “get” immigration reform in 1986 for 3 million illegal aliens and it did
not work so well, we have gained since then 11 more million illegal immigrants.
And they are still coming because the largesse of the American government
towards invaders is world-renowned and their rights trump the rights of any
American immediately upon arrival. All they have to do is “lawyer up.”
According
to the Border Patrol, thousands have been apprehended since the administration
and the Gang of Eight’s announcement of amnesty has been made. CBS news
reported that in McAllen, Texas, 900 illegals were caught over a three day
period. In March, 7,500 illegals were arrested in the Rio Grande Valley of
South Texas, more than triple from previous months. (Todd Beamon, Newsmax, May
1, 2013)
Illegal
immigration in the U.S. had slowed during our deep economic recession,
particularly since Mexico’s unemployment rate has held steady at 3.68 percent
from 1994-2012. This prompted the American Border Control, the formerly U.S.
Seaport Commission, a project of the U.S. Public Policy Council, to demand
through its Executive Director, Jonathon Moseley, that U.S. citizens have the
right to take jobs in Mexico. Moseley commented that “We are gullible suckers.
The error of amnesty is the myth that Mexicans are in financial trouble.” www.AmericanBorderControl.org
American
Border Control is “demanding that any compromise include a right for unemployed
U.S. citizens to find jobs in Mexico after losing their jobs in the United
States as a result of Sen. Marco Rubio’s policies.” Executive Director Jonathon
Moseley said that “Those who showed contempt for our country by violating our
laws and crashing the gate should not be also stealing jobs from U.S.
citizens.”
Our
President took an apology tour to Mexico to tout his immigration reform and
shore up more Democrat voting support for the upcoming election. According to
Daniel Halper of the Weekly Standard, he made the following gaffe, “It would
provide a pathway to earned citizenship for the 11 million individuals who are
already in this country illegally.”
He
apologized to Mexican college students for our sovereignty and thanked them for
helping elect him President. Should Mexico not apologize to us for their lack
of social responsibility to their citizens? Should Mexico not at least thank us
for feeding, clothing, sheltering, educating, and treating medically for free
millions of their citizens who sneak into our country illegally, becoming a
burden to the U.S. taxpayers?
Perhaps
instead of waiting 8 years to gain a green card and then my American
citizenship, I should have crossed the southern border with Mexico illegally.
It would have been quicker, I would have received immediate financial help to
support myself instead of working, I would not have needed to learn English or
assimilate, the government would have translated everything for me, given me
free medical care, free education, easy citizenship, no waiting in line, earned
income credit for other people’s innumerable babies, and no uncomfortable
interrogations and interviews.
Isn’t
self-suicidal, tolerant America grand? What other country in the world rewards
law-breakers with citizenship for anchor babies, voting rights, free education,
free housing, free health care, welfare, and chain migration? La Raza should be
so proud! Our own officials are subtly promoting Reconquista of southern
California, New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas.
I
came to this country to find freedom and I did find it for a while. But the
bright lights of “the shiny city on the hill” are getting dimmer day by day,
and the “shiny city” is getting more tarnished with every new regulation, law,
executive order, and proclamation that benefits illegals and other foreign
groups and hurts American citizens.

Voting Insanity, The Price of Our Enslavement
Voters on both sides of the isle complain that their
chosen representatives do not perform in office according to promises made
during lengthy, expensive, and exhausting campaigns. Yet they choose time and
time again the same seasoned politicians who have made a life-long career in
Washington, greasing the wheels of commerce, national defense, justice, and
legislation. Once elected, politicians become elitist residents of the
insulated bubble of the District of Columbia.
The same voters see nothing wrong with having to produce
two forms of I.D. in order to receive a 10 percent military discount in a chain
hardware store but become outraged when proposals are made for voters to show
I.D., to prove that they are who they say they are.
A frequent voting qualifier is, “he/she does not have
enough experience.” Is the lack of perceived experience not knowing how to
manipulate statistics, deceive the public, how to represent the interests of moneyed
donors, corporations, unions, and banks who bring in the bulk of campaign
donations? Must this magical experience be to know who the power brokers are in
each party and cow-tow to their interests, desires, and platforms? Does this seasoned
experience involve knowing who the powerful lobbyists are, what pork to accept
and introduce in bills that would benefit their state, the country be damned,
at a time when the nation is broke and can ill-afford to borrow more money from
China in order to spend beyond our means?
Perhaps this experience means knowing how to better represent the
interests of the United Nations and promote their agenda?
Do voters consider desirable the candidate’s ability to
say all the right things but do exactly the opposite once in office? Are they
desirable because they are handsome/beautiful, young, well-dressed, and
articulate, have a nice family, are photogenic, and have served in the
military?
Are associations with undesirable characters who do not
wish the best for our country even an issue with voters? Apparently not, voters’
memories are short; they repeat the same mistakes because they do not know
their own country’s history well.
Talk is quite cheap but when it counts, in the voting
booth and political discourse, voters tend to be ill-informed, ignorant, and
absent-minded. They use the most insane
reasons to vote for the wrong person, time after time, after time.
Millions stay home thinking that their vote does not
count anyway and the crooks and liars will be voted into office again.
Electronic fraud makes it that much easier to prove them right. Other millions
have never exercised their right to vote although women’s suffrage was hardly
won 93 years ago. These are just numbers to some people. Why worry about it
when there is baseball, basketball, football, and other reality shows and distractions
on TV?
No candidate wants to be seen as a heartless human being
so they promise everything under the sun to every constituent group, careful
not to alienate one by promising too much to another. It is ultimately a
carefully orchestrated dance of meaningless but articulate and artfully chosen speeches,
delivered with utmost confidence, constant hand-shaking, attending fund raisers
with all the right power brokers, photo ops, and baby kissing to the tune of
millions or billions of dollars, depending on the office sought. A candidate
who would try to run his/her campaign from a central location like President
McKinley’s front porch campaign would be laughed out of the room.
Candidates are vetted by various groups and individuals,
and the endorsement criteria are sometimes strange. Take for instance Mark Sanford,
the former Governor of South Carolina who disgraced himself by having a very painful
and tragic public affair. He resigned his post but he is now campaigning for U.S.
Congress, First Congressional District, running against Elizabeth Colbert Busch,
who is not shy about using her famous liberal brother’s name, Steven Colbert.
Although The National Republican Congressional Committee has pulled its backing,
Sanford has garnered support from Larry Flynt, the king of porn, for the most perplexing
reason. “I support him not for his character, but for exposing the [sexual]
hypocrisy of traditional values. The liar has exposed the greater lie.”
When the Immigration Reform passes, 11 million more
voters, educated into the fine points of citizenship by organizations such as
Acorn, will vote to bring here the third world nations they’ve escaped because
they truly believe that ever bigger government is the source of their prosperity
and wellbeing.
There are also the perennial welfare recipients who vote
for a living, early and repeatedly, coached by community organizers and college
students eager to bring about the romanticized utopian communism their college
professors described in which “social justice” reigns supreme. We must also not
forget those who are mentally incompetent to vote but always vote Democrat and
those who cast their Democrat vote from the cemetery.
The price tag of any candidate’s campaign and our casual and
uninformed indifference to the corrupt political process is the price tag of our
enslavement to the wishes of a small minority who rule the country in
perpetuity and determine how our lives must be run, our health delivered, what
homes we build, how much we pay for gas, how we start and run a business, how
much taxes we pay, what education our
children receive, what we eat and drink, how long we live to replenish the
spending coffers of the ruling elite, what cars we drive, where we travel, and
our freedom in general.

A Journey of Love and Respect Back to the South
A
two hour flight later I was in my beloved South, assaulted by humidity and
cold. A heavy and constant rain made it difficult to drive my rented Corolla. I
expected humidity and hot and I was shivering in my light clothes.
Harold describes the Battle of Hürtgen Forest as if it happened yesterday. With his lilting Southern accent, he pronounced it Hurricane Forest. A series of fierce battles were fought in a 50 square mile area east of the Belgian-German border from September 19, 1944 to February 10, 1945.
In the Battle of Aachen, Harold’s company lost half of its 165 soldiers. To seek shelter, the soldiers built a hut from tree tops and mud. His artillery outfit shot down 494 German planes with the M45 Quad mount, nicknamed the “meat chopper” and “Krautmower” because the four barrel, .50 caliber M2 Browning machine guns delivered a high rate of fire and was highly mobile against enemy aircraft.
German warplanes would attack at low altitude and then would rapidly retreat to avoid Allied fighters. The M45 Quad mount units were a strong deterrent to strafing runs by German warplanes because of the large firepower and because the four 50 caliber barrels could be "tuned" to converge upon a single point at distances which could be reset quickly.
The Hürtgen Forest claimed the lives and limbs of 33,000 soldiers (U.S. 1st Army) in combat and non-combat losses. It was dubbed the Allies’ “defeat of the first magnitude.” The Germans defended the area staunchly because it was the staging zone for the Ardennes Offensive, to become the Battle of the Bulge, and it encompassed a strategic dam. When Aachen eventually fell on October 22nd, the U.S. 9th Army had suffered heavy casualties.
Harold was the master cook and baker. He did not just feed the troops; he fed the entire battalion three meals a day. Fierce fighting forced him to serve one meal per day sometimes. He tells the story of the emaciated soldiers whom everyone thought dead but returned, having been saved from starvation by a Belgian woman who sacrificed and cooked her last rooster to feed them.
With limited resources, Harold always kept a pot of coffee on or warm biscuits, cooking with a 9 pound M1 Garand rifle on his shoulder. The cook was everyone’s lifeline and the soldiers tried to protect him as much as possible, sometimes setting up kitchen quarters in a thicket.
Harold had many close calls with grenades that should have gone off but didn’t or “seeing eye to eye with a low flying German pilot.” He does not speak of the horrors of war, the killings, the loss of limbs, and the utter destruction. His mission was to feed and nourish the soldiers.
While in Normandy, a young Frenchman named Louis Carmelich (Carmelex), Harold is not sure about the spelling of his last name, came by the kitchen quarters looking for something to eat. Harold gave him a few slices of bread, field rations, and chocolate bars. Louis took them home to his parents and returned a couple of times. He came back one day with a piece of charcoal and paper and offered to draw Harold’s portrait. He drew a large number 7 and from it, soon the likeness of an American soldier emerged. It was young Harold. I am trying to imagine how Harold made it home to the States with Louis’ charcoal portrait rolled up in his backpack, but he did. The paper is slightly yellowed by the passage of time but the framed portrait hangs proudly in the Turners lovely home.
Seventy years ago and thousands of miles away from his home and family, Harold, a young lad out of high school, was on a mission to feed an entire battalion fighting the common enemy, Nazi Germany. He is an unsung hero who deserves his place in history for his selfless service to our country in defense of freedom. To Harold Turner and all servicemen and women from World War II, your sacrifice and bravery will not be forgotten!
The
roads were deserted compared to the heavy constant traffic in D.C. Once in a
while a solitary car would pass going in the opposite direction. I had the
excellent road all to myself. The dense vegetation and trees displayed lovely
shades of green. Hanging lavender wisteria formed nature’s intricate draperies.
White, pink, and fuchsia azaleas were in full bloom. Yellow daffodils dotted
the landscape. The sky was grey and dreary but the scenery was bursting with
color.
I
was excited to make the two and half hour drive from the airport to my
Mississippi destination. I wanted to see my friend Harold and his lovely wife
Lois, my adopted mother in the U.S. since 1978. I could not have stayed without
her emotional support and devoted friendship; I was so home sick. Adapting to
America was difficult to say the least and she was my thoughtful, loving, and
learned advisor.
Harold
is a WWII survivor. There are not many left like him, literally and
figuratively. He is 91 years young, full of life and energy, straight and
moving with a purpose, always smiling, optimistic, and jocular. I never tire of
his war stories. I wished I had recorded all of them for the last 35 years.
The
house is the same as I remembered it, embracing the visitor with a welcome home
comfort that is soothing to the soul and body. No matter when you arrive, you
are always welcome in Lois’ home and she has something sweet to eat that she
prepared herself, no store bought foods in her house.
The
lovely garden in the back is exploding with greenery and a myriad of buds. Lois
always had flower beds and birdhouses, while Harold, with his green thumb,
planted a sizable garden every summer. His tomatoes were delicious! Harold
still fiddles with a small patch of vegetables if he is not too busy bird
hunting.
Harold
was drafted his senior year in high school. He spent three years in the army,
1943-1946, two of them overseas, as a private first class. At the end of the
war, he was offered a good rating of Sergeant First Class if he re-enlisted but
Harold chose to build a career as a successful businessman instead.
Harold
brought out his prized brand-new Luger pistol in its original holster. He was
proud of this WWII souvenir confiscated from a German soldier during the Battle
of the Bulge. Holding the cold and heavy weapon, I read the German writing and
the caliber. It was made in Prague, Bohemian Weapons Factory, model 27, caliber
7.65, same as a 32 today. The Germans produced around 450,000 such pistols during
1939-1945.
Fought
in the winter of December 16, 1944 through January 25, 1945, Harold describes
the Battle of the Bulge in the forests of the Ardennes region of Wallonia,
Belgium. The Allies front line bulged inward on wartime maps, hence the name.
At the Battle of the Bulge, the largest and bloodiest battle fought by United
States in World War II, of the 600,000 American troops, 81,000 were killed in
the battle. The Germans eventually lost the battle because they were unable to
supply their armored columns with fuel. The Allies constantly bombed the fuel
refineries, including those in my hometown of Ploiesti.
