"Enemies Within" Documentary Showing in Northern Virginia

Photo: Ileana Johnson 2017
Following Trevor Loudon’s appearance at CPAC 2017, a small group of activists organized a viewing of Loudon’s documentary, “Enemies Within,” on February 27, 2017.

More than 107 northern Virginians came to hear the introduction by Trevor Loudon and to watch the 89-minute film, highlighting well-documented evidence of the advance of communism in America, specific past and current members of Congress who are self-identified communists and Islamophiles, allegedly involved in anti-American activities whose end-goal is the targeted destruction of our country.

Among those present were special guests, Phil Haney, Jim Simpson, and Max Friedman, who appeared in the documentary.

Trevor Loudon, the producer and writer of the documentary, is an activist from Christ Church, New Zealand.  He started his political action in 1986 when he campaigned then against the Soviet Marxist subversion of his country, pursuing a halt to diplomatic and trade relations with the Soviet Union on the grounds that it is a “hostile totalitarian dictatorship seeking world domination.”

As Loudon was introduced, the audience learned that Accuracy in the Media brought Trevor Loudon’s political activism to the attention of the American public. Some Americans heard Loudon speak for the first time at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

Hailing from the “real south,” the south Pacific, Loudon introduced his friend, Max Friedman, who “used to get into the face of Bill Ayres, went to all of the commie meetings, looking just like any other long-haired hippie. He is a walking encyclopedia of the left. He understands how insidious these people are and how much damage they have done to this country.”

America, as the freest and richest country in the world, is populated by the world’s most generous, benevolent, kindly, and tolerant people, said Loudon. But a little bit of “naiveté and complacency” make it hard for Americans to understand “evil.” Loudon argued that it is difficult for Americans to understand that their own “Senators and Congressmen want to do this country harm.”

People who had lived under communism understand this kind of “evil” that had enslaved them, killing millions if they dared to protest or question the totalitarian dear leader. But Americans take the gift of freedom for granted, a gift their Founding Fathers had to pay for dearly, said Loudon.

Why would a New Zealander come to America and worry about this country’s future? Loudon explained that the first reason was gratitude. It was the American men, our fathers and grandfathers, who saved New Zealand from imminent Japanese occupation. Hopping from island to island, the Japanese were so sure of their victory, that they had already printed the currency which they were going to use in Australia and New Zealand. Your fathers, uncles, grandfathers took them on at Guadalcanal and Midway and stopped them “stone cold.” Every older New Zealander understands and is grateful for the sacrifice these American men had made.

The second reason is a bit more selfish, said Loudon. As Ronald Reagan had said, “this is the last hope for mankind,” If you lose your Constitution, your liberty, your economic dynamism, and your military superiority, all of which have been totally trashed for the last eight years,” the bad guys of the planet will take over.”

The entire globe owes Americans a huge debt of gratitude for having elected Donald Trump. If it was not for your activism, we would have Hillary Clinton sitting in the White House and the whole world would be in terror of what was coming next.”

And then there was divine intervention, not unlike the divine intervention during the Revolutionary War. This is a special country with a special destiny, said Loudon. “This country, with its farmers and settlers, took on the biggest world power at the time, the British Empire, and they beat them. How miraculous was that?”

“We have been given a four-year reprieve. Donald Trump is not a miracle cure-all. We have to do anything in our power to set this country back on its successful course, to be the leader of the free world once again.”

Brexit “was the warm-up act,” Donald Trump followed, and we must make sure that the success defeating the globalists will continue in the future, for many terms. It took one hundred years or more to get to where we are today, and we cannot reverse course overnight. The Western world depends on individual citizens’ activism. We must fight and defeat the hardened American-grown revolutionaries who have been working tirelessly for over a century to bring about global communism.

Loudon is preparing a series, America Under Siege, as a follow up to the documentary, Enemies Within. According to Loudon, “there are at least 100 members of Congress (such as Gerry Connolly) and 20 members of the Senate (such as Tim Kaine) who are so enmeshed in the Muslim Brotherhood, neo-communism, or both, they could not pass an FBI background check to sell you stamps at the post office.” There are zero background checks for our Congressmen and Senators yet they are serving on the Intelligence Committee, on the Armed Services Committee, and on many others of the sixteen key intelligence committees.

The evening ended with the viewing of the documentary and a short Q & E.

Political Correctness Gone Crazy

I’ve wondered for the longest time why Americans remain silent to the massive “fundamental transformation” of our country by a minority of well-organized progressives who use any means necessary to attain their communistic ends, including the phony notion of “white privilege” in the most tolerant nation on the planet.

While history is being altered, rewritten in the revisionist view of Saul Alinksy’s activists on the payroll of the current regime, various communist non-profits, and by low information voters who think that a Hershey’s candy bar is more valuable than a $150 pure silver bar and by the non-stop race-baiters, the U.S. A. has become the laughing stock of the rest of the world. Instead of respect, we get derision and mockery on Al Jazeera by our own millennials who work for various anti-American think-tanks and lobbying firms. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYhTFz_SGw0

The military is being cut down more and more, “we can’t afford to pay them,” we are following into the footsteps of European countries that are powerless to defend themselves in the case of an attack. Who is going to take America’s place with its brave soldiers who came to the rescue and liberated Europe from the Nazi oppressors? Where is the American backbone I have heard so much about?

The fact that Memphis officials have voted to disinter the grave of a Confederate general and his wife, in an illogical attempt to purge every shred of our past and of our history, is mind-boggling. When are the hungry racists going to stop? Their ancestors are long gone. America is in a different place now.

What will it take to stop this disruptive PC juvenile insanity? Our country is teetering over the abyss of an out of control government spending and unpayable national debt and we are mesmerized by narcissistic media types and the Donut-Licking-Gate?

I got my answer recently. Donald Trump had the temerity to speak the truth by giving accurate statistics and facts about a certain segment of illegal aliens who represent a majority of criminals in our prison system, who invade our borders to commit crimes, to export their illegal drugs and criminal gangs, and to rape and murder innocents who happen to be in the way.

The media and big business have savaged Donald Trump as a presidential candidate and “the art of the deal” businessman. Luckily, he is a very rich man, he can stand financial losses. He is highly successful no matter what he does; he is the quintessential self-made billionaire. Nobody who is trashing him in the major main stream media venues can ever take that away from him or dare to measure up to this man’s wisdom, business acumen, and success.

Why are Americans silent? Because they are afraid! They don’t want to lose their jobs, their freedom, and the acceptance of their neighbors, family, and friends on the social circuit. They don’t want to be savaged by mobs surrounding their homes. They don’t want to be called racists and bigots, so they remain silent.

They don’t want to be evicted if their handicapped child hangs the Confederate flag in his bedroom window. They don’t want to be impeached from public office if they happen to disagree with the gay lifestyle based on their religious beliefs. They don’t want to be thrown out of their churches by parishioners who also cower in fear of disapproval or loss of their jobs. They don’t want to lose their bakeries, event planner businesses, or pizza shop.

Freedom of speech is free if you agree with me. If you disagree with liberals, freedom of speech no longer exists. Progressives have muzzled all of us with Political Correctness gone amuck.  If we disagree with their ideology, atheism, lifestyle, or opinion, how long will it be before we actually start going to jail if we dare to embrace any dissenting opinions that the left has labeled “hate speech” and codified it into law?

Our children cannot smoke in school, eat unhealthy foods for school lunches, cannot take aspirin for headaches, are drugged for real or imagined attention-deficit disorders, but can have state-subsidized sex-change operations at 15 in Oregon without parental consent. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/07/09/oregon-allowing-15-year-olds-to-get-state-subsidized-sex-change-operations/

Children are brainwashed and indoctrinated into the religion of Gaia, scared every day in school about man-made global warming that is scientifically a hoax. HBO devoted an entire six-episode series, Saving My Tomorrow, to this topic, using small children with memorized canned lines from the climate change industry agenda, resplendent with sophisticated adult vocabulary uncharacteristic for such small children, to shamelessly propagandize global warming.

Jose Antonio Vargas, “the self-described ‘undocumented gay Filipino American’ journalist who won a Pulitzer Prize for covering the Virginia Tech shootings in 2007,” has made a conversation film about “whiteness,” propagandizing non-existent “white guilt” and “white privilege.” http://www.ijreview.com/2015/07/364664-new-documentary-raising-serious-eyebrows-ethnicity-subject-legal-status-creator/?utm_source=email&utm_campaign=afternoon-newsletter&utm_medium=owned

“We cannot have an honest conversation about race in America until we explore and unpack what "whiteness" and "white privilege" mean in America. This is not an easy, simply or comfortable conversation. So let's get uncomfortable. Let's talk. That's the goal of "White People," a documentary project produced by MTV's Look Different campaign in collaboration with Define American and Punched In The Head Productions.”

It seems to be the norm now that “undocumented” immigrants criticize Americans for their generosity. We allow illegal aliens who invade our borders to take advantage of our welfare system, free education, free medical care, and freedoms unlike any offered in their former countries, freedoms which they are now trying to curtail with aggressive liberal activism.

There is nothing shameful about American generosity and tolerance. We should not be demonized because we are white. Nobody should be demonized about the color of their skin any more than being bullied for being tall, short, skinny, or fat.

History has shown that demonizing an entire group of people under the guise of “conversation” has gotten millions of innocents killed. Take for example the good people who stood by while their Jewish neighbors were persecuted during Nazism. How about millions of people under the communist revolution who did nothing when intellectuals and the middle class were purged and disappeared during the 20th century?

One of the IJ Review readers, George Kirkman, who took up the challenge to have an honest race conversation in America, had this commentary for the phony indictment of “whiteness” based on a racist view of the world, preconceived notions, and biases.

“It was whiteness that fought to end slavery, not only here in America, but around the world as well. It was whiteness that fought Ebola in Africa. It was whiteness that sends out doctors, teachers, engineers, and missionaries to the Third World. It is whiteness that brings in Third World students to be educated. It is whiteness that takes in a hundred thousand or more refugees every year. It was whiteness that went forth to rebuild Haiti after the quake. It is whiteness that sends out billions in aid to the Third World.”

It is bold and unwise to accuse the very people who are tolerantly accepting you into their midst even though you broke their laws by entering illegally. Feed me but I am going to bite your hand because I resent your ability and industriousness that allows you to share the fruits of your labor with me.

Promoting the liberal inclusiveness agenda by making any child or adult feel ashamed of their skin color and of their heritage is repulsive.

"Building the Machine," the Common Core Documentary

“Common sense of the common people is more important for the health of the nation than the ideas of the philosophical elites.” – Wayne Brasler

In 2013, sixty-two percent of Americans have not heard of Common Core. Ian A. Reid set out to change that. He directed the best documentary on the National Common Core Standards, “Building the Machine.” www.CommonCoreMovie.com

The national teaching standards were adopted by 45 states without parental or teacher input, under confidentiality agreements, without public debate, untested, untried, unproven, and certainly not “internationally benchmarked” as is now promoted in non-stop ads or “state-led.”

The bait for adoption was the $4.35 billion worth of grants offered through the President’s stimulus package. States had two months to write proposals in order to be eligible for the Race to the Top grants. Hurting for money because the economy was so depressed, 45 states applied and, in doing so, they accepted the Race to the Top Standards.

The standards, which were to become Common Core standards were not debated, “the drafts were cloaked,” there were no hearings, no testimony, just “some truncated public comments and no response to comments.”

“The Common Core standards were designed for an industrial model school,” claiming that they are “rigorous, even though they can’t tell you what makes for rigorous or non-rigorous standards.” Marc Tucker believes that they are designed for “work force development in the German model system.” Andrew Hacker, Professor Emeritus at Queens College, called Common Core standards, “a radical change from the past.”

According to the documentary, the “players” involved in developing, funding, adopting, and advertising national Common Core standards were:

-          Achieve, Inc.

-          Fordham Institute

-          The National Governors Association

-          Council of Chief State School Officers

-          U.S. Department of Education

-          Foundation for Excellence in Education

-          U.S. Chamber of Commerce

-          45 governors

-          Jeb Bush

-          Mike Huckabee

-          School Officers

-          Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (donated $200 million in 2012 alone to adopt Common Core)

The Validation Committee was composed of 30 people who had to sign a confidentiality agreement that they would not discuss what took place in the meetings. (Sandra Stotsky)

Five committee members, a significant percentage, did not sign the final standards and were thus “expunged from the record.” Dr. Jim Milgram said, “They are not giving the public any idea of what’s going on.” Dr. Milgram and Dr. Stotsky were the only mathematician and English language arts content specialists on the 30-person validation committee. Neither approved the standards.”

Dr. Jim Milgram objected to forcing college presidents to accept students from any high school who had passed algebra, without any remedial math courses. According to statistics from the National Center for Public Policy and Higher Education, in 2010 “over 40 percent of college freshmen specifically need remedial mathematics and over 60 percent of new college students need remediation of some sort.”

Dr. Milgram believes that the long-term effect of non-remediation is that college course content will have to drop in order to meet the lower quality of students coming in from k-12, in essence dumbing down the college mathematics curriculum.

The much advertised “college readiness” with Common Core is not going to be good enough for STEM (an acronym that refers to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), not good enough for selective colleges, it is going to be barely enough for a community college. But everybody can get into a community college. Common Core standards are not standards for excellence or competitive colleges, they are for mediocrity.

Ze’ev Wurman, 2010 member of CA Academic Content Standards Commission and former U.S. Department of Education official, argues that a student cannot be prepared for both “college and career readiness” as Common Core advertises. Declaring by fiat that everybody is “college and career ready” is “untenable,” in his opinion. Not all children want to go to college or should. Some children are better suited for a vocational career.

According to the documentary, the “Lead Common Core Standards writer, David Coleman, became president of the College Board in the fall of 2012. In 2013, the College Board began to simplify the material on the SAT exams and all AP courses to match the Common Core.”

Michael Farris, J.D., LL.M., founder of the Home School Legal Defense Association, admits that David Coleman has some good ideas in education. What Michael Farris disagrees with is the fact that “David Coleman wants to use the force of law to require everybody to implement his ideas of education.”

Dr. Stotsky, who grew up in a small town in Massachusetts, believes in “independent citizens who choose for themselves,” people who don’t need a “monarch and a central planner” but self-government. “Central planners are people who like power; they think they are an elite who knows how to run other people’s lives.”

Dr. Andrew Hacker, Professor Emeritus of Political Science at Queens College, said that 22 percent of 9th graders do not finish high school. Many variables contribute to a student’s success; however, the most important is parental involvement.

Alternate high schools in Finland and Germany offer 8 different tracks for graduation in order to better match the students’ interests, talent, ability, and motivation. “Duncan [Secretary of Education] does not like that approach because it leaves choices up to kids,” said Dr. Stotsky. “They want a centralized system where things are directed by people like them who think they know better what’s good for other people’s children.”

Wayne Brasler, Veteran Journalism Teacher, University of Chicago Lab Schools, explained that one standard for all is a ‘dead end.’ “It is stereotyping people that everyone wants to go to college, have the same career, same ability, same interests, and you are not worthwhile if you don’t do this.”

Dr. Andrew Hacker opined that “McGraw-Hill, Pearson, Gates, really regard education as a production line in which they are going to take little human beings and make them college or career ready.” Are these not our children, should we not have a say in what they learn? Is it the government’s right to teach our children what the government thinks our children should know?

Home-schooled children will not be insulated from this mediocre national curriculum. They will be affected because colleges, tests, and curriculum will be aligned with Common Core Standards.

Ian A. Reid, the director of the documentary, Building the Machine, wrote, “Lead writers of the Common Core, David Coleman, Susan Pimentel, and Jason Zimba, were asked to defend the standards in the film. Two declined, one never replied.”

American colleges were once the envy of the world. If we cut out chunks of mathematics that have been taught for 100 years, without proper research and testing, chances are great that we will no longer be the exceptional higher education bastion.

Quantifying everything will result in teaching to the standards in order to get the right score. Wayne Brasler thinks that “Systematization, centralization, and data collection are not good for the public schools but David Coleman believes so.”

Replacing basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication) with Constructivism, teaching children how to “construct” their own way of figuring out an answer, even if it’s the wrong answer, and replacing English literature selections with New Criticism Literary Analysis, using leftwing norms of morality and behavior, appears to be a recipe for mediocrity.

We are a diverse nation populated by individuals with different talents, ability, IQ, motivation, interests, and dissimilar childhood experiences. Some children live on farms and some in the cities, some are affluent and some are not.

College should help Americans become life-long learners, not ideological robots. Education should be about our children, not the “system.” Paul Horton, Veteran History Teacher, University of Chicago Lab Schools, thinks that the “Current policy makers see the purpose of education as training people to acquire the minimum level of skills that are required to work in a technical workplace.”

We are not trying to win a race, we are trying to pursue happiness and keep our constitutional republic intact and safe. What race are we supposed to win and against whom?

Butler on Business, 10 minute commentary on Agenda 21

My 10 minute weekly commentary on Butler on Business, April 4, 2013. I come on at the 40 minute mark. Topic: Agenda 21 as reflected by a new documentary made by Australian TV.
